This is the best place to get a system put in your car! I have been to other places in town and gotten speakers put in my cars and they don't even compare to these guys. DJ there is awesome to work with!

I got my subwoofers and amplifiers installed here with each vehicle I have owned, and wow, they go above and beyond with their customer service. I could even go as far to say it was the best I have received in my life.There was a slight oopsie with the installation of my subs where my heating wires got knocked loose for my ac & heater and the knob to turn my subs wasn t working. It was a Saturday, and they are closed until Tuesday yet Kyle came in on his day off, fixed my AC & heater, gave me a brand new knob, and even went as far to gift me a product for the inconveniences. You can tell he really cares about his business and I am proud to be a loyal customer to them. If you are looking for a good local place with good service, I highly recommend them.

Found this place by word of mouth. DJ was very helpful from start to finish. Had a full system installed in my yamaha jet boat, super clean work. Liked it so much had them put one in my truck also.

If you have an appreciation for good audio this is 100% the only place to go. These guys rock and even take the time to nerd out with you. Going into this store is chill and they treat you so much more than just a customer. You guys have my business for sure, glad I found such a great place with true audiophile gear.Anthony.

Sound source installed their viper remote start system on my pickup a few years ago. This past weekend it quit working, and I could not reprogram either key fob. I took my truck in this morning and DJ and his technician diagnosed a faulty module. Within 20 minutes they had a new module installed and everything reprogrammed for me. Amazing customer service experience! Thanks for all your help sound source!

Called and asked for a quote to have a radio and back up camera installed in my car and got quoted 900. Didn't want to spend that kind of money so I didn't do it. A few weeks later i got gifted a radio so went back to these guys to install it. They quoted me 850 dollars and stated there was an upcharge if I dont buy the radio from them. They're either hurting for business or running a shiesty unethical business or both. Store manager seemed like a nice enough guy but beware of being scammed. I ended up taking an hour on a Saturday and just doing it myself.

DJ and his crew are true professionals. I got my stereo, backup camera and heated seats installed through them and it feels like a brand new truck! Their pricing is fair and the jobs were done quickly with great attention to detail. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks fellas!

This place and the people that work here are awesome. Bought a new radio and backup camera for my camaro ss. I'm TERRIBLE at remembering names but the tall guy and the guy that owns the black ninja motorcycle are extremely knowledgeable about what I wanted and they answered all my questions and we talked for hours about home theater options and they showed me lots of things for my future plans. Customer service is EXCELLENT. My camaro sounds great. Love the new radio and backup camera. If you're looking for great products for all your sound needs this is the place to go. They offer a variety of other services as well. Remote starters. Cameras. Anything sound related. Home theater. You name it. And for the people complaining about expensive stuff. Everything Soundsource sells is top of the line. No cheap garbage here. The labor is performed by some of the most skilled people in the state. Good stuff ain't cheap and cheap stuff ain't good. I will definitely be a returning customer.

We came in for a new car radio and DJ went above and beyond in meeting our needs. He was so friendly, was very knowledgeable and gave us an incredible deal; Installation only took a few hours, and we are so happy to have a working radio in our jeep again. So this is another update: Back in February 22' I decided to finally update my front and back speakers. The fronts will be the Flax Evo Series 6-1/2" 3-way component speaker system and the backs will be the Flax Evo Series 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers. The previous speakers I had in there I was done with them and it wasn't what I was expecting out of a speaker systemI choose these speakers because the sound they produce is a warm enveloping sound that was good for acoustics and soft vocals. I would've love to go with the Utopia series but that may have to wait for another time.This is an active system that is powered by an 8 channel JL VXi amp and still have the Alpine 5ch with the rocksford T1 still powering the bass. I have also included another battery in the extra compartment to go ahead and enhance the signal giving it more sound and power. This saves my altenator in the future from going out.The workmanship is very high quality and they did speaker pods in the fronts with the mids and tweeters so the music is coming directly at you and not beaming via the window. They also added an extra layer of sound dampeners to the outside of the door to work with the dampeners around the speakers. The fit is extremely tight so the sound they produced is amazing. They explained that they were using the latest JL Audio TUN system to fine tune the sound in the truck and it was second to none.It feels like my system of old were it you felt the music and not only listened to it. I enjoy this system very much and would recommend these cats for any install. My next goal is to work on the bass system portion and hope to do that next year. Thankyou DJ and the soundsource crew with the wonderful install.So this an update. I have 18' GMC Sierra. With an Alpine 5ch Amp, 2 sets of Alpine X-series components for the fronts and backs, 1 rocksford T1 shallow with a custom box and a wavetech module to interface the oem deck to the Amp. All from Ideal Audio.So I point this out because I felt like the system could be better and I kept having wiring issues when ideal installed it. So I decided to give sound source a shot to see if they could find the issue. Not only they found the problem. They said they could change out the wiring, and the module to my existing system for better sound quality. Also, I decided to improve the existing passive system by installing a JL Audio VXi800 to switch it to an active system.The results were astounding! It's like going from a small home theater system at home to going to a movie theater and immersing yourself into the sound! It transformed the components that I had in there from a sharp in your face sound to a warm enveloping wave that washes over you. The power of an active system has turned the 6.5 mids into powerhouses that makes turning up the bass a non-starter. It's so powerful that the alpine components can't handle all the power. My next stage is to move on to a higher end 3 way focal component set.I have to say the work is high quality. They even rearrange my bass knob so it's more accessible. They sent me pics to keep me updated on what they did. But my good system now sounds like a great system. Thankyou DJ and The Sound Source crew for the upgrades to my existing system and would recommend this to anyone that wants to take their system to greater limits! I won't lie, yes the cost is higher end but I promise and guarantee you will get what you pay for.

They installed a remote start on my car back in 2016. I recently had a problem with it. They stand behind their work! A simple fix today, 5-9-2023. They have done excellent, trustworthy installs on my vehicles with good support over the years. Competitive pricing. I highly recommend!

I think his name was Jeff, but I'm not sure, helped me pick out a remote starter. I appreciated the straightforward way he explained features and answered my questions. As a lady I often feel that technicians talk down to me, but I didn't feel that way at Sound Source.

Sound Source has done seat heater, remote start, and stereo upgrades for my vehicles. They have installed whole home audio with surround sound systems in two of my homes. The level of service and professionalism is top notch and unmatched in East Idaho. Big thanks to Kyle, Erik, DJ and the rest of the crew.

I had a radio installed four years ago, which has worked great until just recently when there was for some reason, no power. I took it back to sound source, and they checked the wiring harness which was loose and fixed it quickly and even better yet did it under warranty I was very happy with their service and I m still happy with my beautiful Kenwood radio. I had a short time frame and wanted a complete system upgrade. The manager let me know that they was short on installation techs and wanted to know if I could drop my truck early. I dropped it off around noon on Friday and honestly was not expecting to hear from them until late Saturday. I was bored on Saturday and thought I would drop by at noon to see how it was going and to my surprise they was already done. Installation was done very clean and I am very happy with the final product. Manager was very helpful and patient he answered every question I had. I was working in a budget he went above and beyond to keep me where I wanted to be. I will definitely be back to give them more of my business and I highly recommend that you do the same. Sound source and crew of DJ, Erik, and Jeff are the best they have gone above and beyond to help this old lady out. I was having problems wit my car in ways that they do not specialize in but that did not stop them. They called me with updates spotted out that I as being taken advantage of by a different company (being ripped off). Made several different trips to get parts. They helped me out so very much. To top it all of they are short handed and still went above and beyond their call of duty and responsibilities.This crew is a very honest, trustworthy, respectful, and caring crew. Although Sound Source Inc was not the original installers of my stereo system, while out of town and staying in Pocatello for a few days, I dropped by to seek professional advice on some issues I was experiencing with one of my speakers. My arrival was unexpected, but DJ treated me as if I was a long time customer. He fit me in his busy schedule, quickly identified the issue and fixed it. I am extremely grateful for his assistance and customer service. Thank you DJ!

My brothers and I have been repeat customers at Sound Source for years now. Their work is stellar, and their customer service is superb. Each time one of us gets a vehicle, it s off to Sound Source as a first order of business and each system sounds absolutely amazing! Just today I wanted something to be looked at and DJ squeezed me into his schedule. These guys are ALWAYS helpful, VERY knowledgeable and I would never take my car anywhere else. I couldn t recommend this place more! :)

Sound Source has installed 8 aftermarket stereos for me and my parents for about a decade. They are very knowledgeable and always to a great job. They recently installed in 4 of my cars, isolation switches to preserve my batteries when my cars are parked for awhile. Excellent service and well organized.

Absolutely recommend.A little expensive but you Absolutely get what you pay for.I never felt pressured to overspend dj explained everything in the charge aswell as its use and was extremely helpful during the whole process.They even had the new install done in less time than was estimated and were super chill. 10/10 5 stars they get a cookie and a gold star on the good noodle board.

We wanted to let DJ and the crew at sound source know how happy we are with the audio system in our 4Runner. The price was reasonable, the quality of the install was excellent ... they took great care of our new vehicle. We scheduled the install and they were spot on with keeping the schedule and cost and even gave us updates while they were working on it. Overall a very impressive and professional experience and holy heck our system rocks and is so fun to play all kinds of music.
