Update 10/24/23: So here is an update to my review. The service manager Kevin contacted me, was pleasant to work with and very professional. After some back and forth, videos and such of the continued problems, conversations Kevin had with the owner.... They wanted to make things right and went above and beyond. With parts shipping being the way it is, I took some time, but they wanted to make sure the generator was working as it should and then some. I am very happy with the result and the effort that the service team, Kevin and Ben put in to make things right. I updated to a four star and not a five star because I feel it should have been done correctly from the start.Original post: Very disappointed!!! Took a Honda generator to be repaired. First I was told they couldn't find anything wrong with it, then after telling them to run it for about 15 minutes they were able to duplicate the problem. I was then told that the problem was an oil pressure switch and that should fix the smoke blowing out the exhaust. When they contacted me they said it was fixed and running perfectly well. I paid and picked up the generator. Once home I started the generator and my original problem was not resolved and the generator would only run for a few minutes before shutting down and it was still blowing a bunch of blue smoke. After calling and sending video of what it was doing, as I live in Arizona. Their only resolution was to give me credit towards a new generator, which would mean they want me to spend more money at their business. If their service department is saying things are fixed and sending people on their way after taking their money, knowing that they live out of state, why would I want to give them more money? I was told by a manager that he would talk to the owner again and try to find a different option to resolve the situation. They have not tried to contact me since then. With family being in Pocatello, I will not recommend any of them go to this establishment! Out $500 for a repair which did not fix my problem and had to spend money on a different generator....but sure as hell not from them! Don't recommend, pretty shady and incompetent.

Parts department is always on point! Fast friendly and helpful all around. I've needed to order parts multiple times and although they are Honda, I've even had them order in my Yamaha parts too because their HALF THE PRICE of Switchback Motor sports on prices!!

I've been there several times shopping. Staff is on the ball they recognized me after about my second visit, and even though I haven't bought anything (yet) they've been helpful and friendly. Today one of the guys fixed the rear view mirror on a scooter I hadn't bought from them no charge! Good place. Lots of interesting inventory, too.

Made an appointment to have my bike checked out and tuned. Had to wait a month to get it in. When I did. It just sat there a week untill I started calling back to get them to do something. They said they had it all adjusted. But t when I picked it up. I paid a hundred bucks an hour for a worse working bike than I dropped off. Maybe they do ok with smaller stuff. I don't know. Bigger bikes . I don't think they have the skills

Called with a back tire on a Goldwing needing to be replaced. On a trip from MN. They asked the details-verified they had a tire - I mentioned I would be there in two hours. They said they would get it changed as soon as I arrived. They did exactly that and back on our trip. Very helpful and professional!!! Thank you!

Was on a long ride when my new 1290R developed a coolant leak. Super stressed out, I pulled into their store and explained my situation to the service writer, who was extremely patient considering my state of mind. They got the bike in and and fixed the next day. Kinda weird, but the price was too cheap for all the work they had to do to get to the part. One month later, there is zero problems with their work or the bike. If I could give more stars..... Thanks to the service dept for the fast and courteous service. Thanks to the awesome sales dept for entertaining me while it was being worked on. Great group of guys.

Took my bike here after the started died on me. Literally could not ask for a better experience I was able to call at anytime and get a descriptive of the work done at the time. They also worked with me really well at explaining what they thought was necessary and what could be pushed down the line which made me feel like I wasn't overpaying

Awesome group of people here. I came from out of state to pick up a cbr1000rr and they stayed late to get everything settled for me before I went out the door. The techs were also helpful making sure I knew everything I needed to consider when breaking in my new bike. Very happy with the service!

I had an unexpected problem with my 2019 skidoo snowmobile. After some hard work by the technician, powersports figured it out.My bill total was very extensive and not covered by warranty, but Kevin and his team did everything they could to help offset costs. I really appreciated that Kevin was personable and professional.Thank you for your commitment to excellence.

New sales are good, decent prices. Competitive with anyone else. The problem comes in the service department. So far they seem to be about 50% with fixing what you take a bike into them for. Example, we took a bike in to them and told them it was having engine problems. Told them to do whatever it took to diagnose and fix it. They had the bike for 2 weeks completely rebuilt the top end of the motor and we took it back out and rode it for about 1.5 minutes before the engine completely seized. We took the bike back to them and they said it wasn't their fault, nothing that they fixed caused the problem. The bottom end of the engine had seized. It didn't matter that they were the ones who miss diagnosed the problem and that everything they had charged us to fix was now completely ruined as well. The only thing they were willing to do for us was to completely rebuild the engine. At full cost of course.

I have a hard time believing that as many people had positive experiences as the reviews here would have you believe. I bought a motorcycle, a helmet at another time, and had the motorcycle serviced at Pocatello PowerSports, and not once did I feel as though the staff here had any notion as to what customer service is.My bike was delayed several times, no doubt initially delayed to save the store money, and not once was I called to let me know of the delay. I called the day after it was supposed to come in and was only then told that it had been delayed. This happened three times. The fourth time I called after the given date, was it actually in. The only time Pocatello PowerSports called me was to let me know that some of the paperwork had been filled out incorrectly.About a month later, I ordered a helmet through them, and, once again, was given a date that it would arrive as I paid. It was also delayed. And, once again, I was not alerted. Neither was I called when the helmet came in.The final nail in the coffin is the obscene experience I had working with their service department. My motorcycle starts to leak oil. I take my bike in on a Friday, and am told it ought to be done later that day or the next. I don't hear anything from the shop, so I call on Monday. Turns out the gasket on my crankcase was seated badly, and they need to order one. It should be in on Wednesday or Thursday. I call Friday, one week after dropping it off, to find out that the gasket came in, but that they hadn't thought to schedule anyone to do the work. They'll have someone work on it on Tuesday. I don't hear anything, and Wednesday is Independence Day, so I call in Thursday. The Service Department head says she doesn't see any notes, but will talk with the mechanic and call me back. I wait four hours and don't get a call back, so I call in again. Turns out the mechanic wasn't able to get to it on Tuesday, so they try to squeeze it in on Friday, two weeks after I dropped it off for a little work. Unsurprisingly, I don't get a call, so I call them Saturday. Again, mechanic wasn't able to get to it, so we're rushing and going to do it Monday. I get no call on Monday. I call in on Tuesday and, oh, hey, the mechanic didn't get to it. We'll get it done tomorrow, Wednesday, we swear! I call in on Wednesday afternoon, and, after sitting on hold for eight minutes because "it's busy," I'm told the mechanic is out test riding it. I show up a couple minutes later to a "busy," nigh-empty store to be charged $141.13 for a new gasket and the pleasure of being run around for two weeks, five days.I've never had such a terrible experience as a customer, and couldn't imagine the level of incompetence of Pocatello PowerSports to so consistently not give a care in the world.I suggest avoiding Pocatello PowerSports. They didn't deserve the business I gave them and probably don't deserve yours, either.Update: I wrote this review over dinner, immediately after leaving the store with my bike. Once I got home, my bike was smoking with burning oil. I was extremely frustrated, thinking that they hadn't actually fixed my bike. I took it back the next day and went straight to management, who had seen this review. Management was very apologetic and diagnosed the burning oil as residue the techs left on my bike. The manager had my bike cleaned and treated me like he cared for me as a customer, but he did nothing to otherwise remedy the situation. I will not be doing any further business with them.

If I could give more stars, I would. First off, I want to say thank you to Bodi for trusting myself and my bank with our transaction today. We had some bad luck at Rexburg Motor Sports and he turned that whole experience around for us. Already loving our new ATV!!! Definitely recommend them and I will definitely be back for more!

It's often difficult to get someone to answer the phone. I get people get busy, but calling 4 times to get a voice to talk to is a bit excessive. The experience i had with the service department was not to good the first time. I gave them another shot thinking it was just my attitude towards the situation, same result. Ive never delt with sales so i can't say anything positive or negative about that department. The parts guys have always been phenomenal to help me out. Parts prices are very competitive with anything ive found.*Update*Man have these guys stepped up big in the last little while! Every time i call i get a real person that answers the phone (usually jackie and she's great!) I have now delt with the sales team and i'm here to tell you AJ and Brian are awesome! They got me a deal that knocked the socks off of their competitor. I highly recommend talking to either of them on a new machine. They have a new service manager who called me direct and apologized for how things were handled in the past and assured me that that's not how he is going to operate things. Very strand up!!! I moved from a 3 to 4 star. If service steps up it's 5 stars all day!!

These guys suck as far as the service department goes. I was originally told they would have a diagnosis of my bike the following week after I brought it in. 3 weeks later they still hadn't looked at it. I would have understood had they been honest about their schedule, but they try and turn it around and make it seem like they're so overworked and the customer isn't being patient enough. Screw that! talk straight with the customer. Be honest about the scheduling so I can make an informed decision about whether or not to leave the bike, or find another shop.
