Scheduled an appointment to have my 2017 Tacoma serviced based of a general maintenance light that came on the dash. 6 hours of waiting later they told me the problem I came in for they couldn t find; but my transfer case is bad. They proceeded to give me a $3,000+ quote to fix it. When I left the dealership every warning light and check engine light was on. Opposed to the single light I went in there with. I took the truck home and the dealership had unplugged the rear case actuator which was popping all the lights on the dash. After inserting the plug all the lights turned off and several weeks later the truck is still running without issue. Dealerships get a bad name; this one takes the cake in my personal experience. The staff was very friendly however.

I'll start out by saying I own a Nissan and there is a Nissan dealership literally across the street from them but I chose to take my vehicle here. They have service packages you can purchase to bring down the costs of routine maintenance and I've used them for other maintenance items, most recently tires. Clean and new dealership with a comfortable waiting area, kids play area, water, and fresh baked cookies. Service is timely and I appreciate the car wash after! Have yet to purchase from this dealership but will definitely give them a chance to earn my business when I'm ready based on my service experience alone.

I had a wonderful buying experience at Phil Meador, and especially with Mark "Goose" Arnold. His communication was clear, timely, and informative. I made the drive up from Layton and they took time to ensure our car would be warm and ready for a test drive. The purchase process was seamless. The dealership had the right vehicle at a great price. I would buy from them again!

We recently purchased a used van from Phil Meador Toyota. Everyone there that helped in the process was quick and easy to work with. Part of the purchase agreement included a small fix on the interior. They had a clean loaner vehicle for me to get around in while they took care of it. They even washed the car after the repair. Derek and I recently bought a 2024 Sequoia. Conner was fantastic! Although the initial purpose was to look and not buy that day, we quickly fell in love with the Sequoia. Conner was knowledgeable, not pushy and easy to talk to. He answered all our questions and made sure we knew exactly what we were doing without over selling. We will be sending him our friends and when I m ready to trade off my car, Connor will be the guy. Thank you!

Recently traded in my tundra here. While driving an hour to the dealership, one of the sales reps asked if I had a crack in my windshield. I said no. After arriving, the truck I was purchasing had a broken windshield and nobody said anything about it until I brought it up. They intentionally attempted to conceal that piece of information. I trade in the truck and 30 days later the transmission goes out. All fluids in the truck also needed to be filled because apparently they didn t do that like they said they did. Now I have to have the mechanics document their work and provide assessments to the damages to determine whether these problems existed before they sold me the truck which may be the case. I m also out a vehicle and the Sales Manager basically said tough luck. Do not buy from this place. Also know your consumer fraud laws and contact the state Attorneys General office if you experience issues with this business.

I went to Toyota yesterday; sales guy was not knowledgeable and was more concerned�running my credit although I told him 1. if I found something I really wanted I would then do that. 2. already approved at another lot for a 2024 vehicle and when I stepped out for a phone call my honey heard someone yelling at the sales guy how they were going to have to run my credit.� I KNOW if I had bought from them then they would need to run my credit! So how about allowing someone to find something they really want first that might be in their price range! Also, not having to run inside for every question would have been nice!!Seems they treat their sales guys pretty bad, would not recommend going here!

The first time we inquired about 4Runner, we were quoted so high that even a $20,000 down payment and 5% interest would still be $900+ for 60 months. The math was not mathing therefore, we walked away.If you go back to one of their negative reviews here, you would see that someone also experienced over charged monthly payment and their response was that warranty is automatically added. I am assuming that was my case but it was not disclosed during our conversation. When we saw him the second time, he said that he did the math wrong which is weird because you would think the manager or him would catch that. $20000 over charge is crazy.Coming from Hawaii where Toyota is our brand. We really wanted something that somewhat feels like we are still in Hawaii so we went for a second time.Went to a different agent and he agreed that the math was not mathing . Of course, the 5% isn t available anymore and was originally offered 6.99 and we kept declining the warranty. Somehow, he was able to lower it down to 6% and he still kept persisting that we need the warranty so we ended up believing him so there goes $2400+. He was supposed to contact us regarding some touch up on the car but it s been a month so I m guessing we won t hear from him Overall, agents was just doing their job and trying to make some commissions. I just dislike that warranty was not disclosed in the first place and poor excuse on the first agent part and also, not hearing from the second agent after our purchase.Please before discussing anything, I would recommend asking for itemized receipt to know what you will be paying for because best believe that service contract (warranty) is automatically added. I also recommend to get pre approved from your bank prior to going any dealership.

I had an excellent car-buying experience at this place, particularly with Christian Hagler. I highly recommend him for his clear communication and exceptional ability to ensure customer satisfaction. He made my purchase incredibly smooth. I bought the car during Thanksgiving week, and after a couple of weeks, I can genuinely say that the car is in excellent condition and I am very happy with this purchase.

I was truly disappointed today with the service I received! I arrived for service at 9:00AM and also requested 4X4 analysis due to it not engaging. Sat for 3 1/2 hours with no communication. Went to the service desk and was told the technician was gone to lunch and work would start again when he was done at 1:00pm. Got my truck at 3:15 and still have to go back and endure it again. Not a great experience! Not to mention the cost!

My wife tried to sell her 2019 Toyota Prius to this dealer, after they appraised the car we receiving a written offer good for a week of $17,000, we decided to look elsewhere. Upon receiving several offers from other dealers in SLC, Phil meador s offer was the best. But after returning within the time frame, Phil meador would not honor their offer, instead they gave us a second lowball offer and would not negotiate further. They wasted our time and will most likely waste yours.

2 weeks ago my wife and I were in Pocatello for our wedding. We had an unexpected issue with her 4Runners brakes the day before we were supposed to tow a trailer across the country. We didn't know what to do. I reached out to Phil Meador Toyota and was able to bring the vehicle in that day. I wanted to recognize 2 employees who turned a very stressful situation into a great day. Jamal and Jose were more than helpful. Jamal was the service representative at the front desk and he took the time to reassure us that they would do everything they could to help us out as soon as possible. Little did we know that later that SAME day we would get our vehicle back. Jose was the technician that worked on our vehicle. He even took it for a test drive after fixing the issue and on the drive heard something he didn't like so he put it back up on the lift and made sure that everything was perfect for us. When we got the vehicle back the brakes sounded great and they even washed our vehicle. Customer service from these two individuals and the dealership as a whole was amazing. My wife and I are very appreciative of the level of understanding we received.

I usually have great experiences with Toyota Dealers. This one is a different story. They appraised their used car higher by $2,500 more than a brand new one. And, on the opposite side, they appraised my trade-in about $13k-$15k less than retail price, and/or $9k less than KBB. I understand $2-$4k difference between KBB, but this is robbery.These sales managers are a bunch of crooks and dishonest people!!! Please do your home research!!!I'll probable switch to Tesla in order not to deal with Stelarships. Reliability is a mirage when you get robbers like this.

if your trying to buy a brand new car and want specifics inside of it i would recommend you not to go through a girl named jennifer/jen. i specifically told her that i wanted a car with certain things in it and she basically lead me on thinking that that s what the car had and then after i signed the paperwork and finally got in the car she pointed out that it didn t have the specific shift knob i wanted and i was ok with that and said it s fine, but never mentioned it not having my speakers i wanted. so i finally drove away happy as can be and turned the speakers up and noticed they sounded basic and that it didn t have what i asked for, but guess what it was to late. messaged her and asked why she ordered anything other then what i asked for and all she said was nope they don t have the jbl speakers you specifically asked for. THE MAIN THING I WANTED IN MY BRAND NEW CAR AND SHE RUINED IT FOR ME. For it being my first experience buying a brand new car she ruined it for me and really upset me. You would think they would want to fix things to make their customers happy, but they didn t care and just left me hanging. make sure you read every single little detail if your buying a car and want specific things in it. they will order something you completely didn t ask for and ruin your experience dealing with a car dealership.

bought my new jeep through this dealership. was kind of nervous 1 because it was out of state 2 the reviews weren't the best. but all that changed when i talked to my salesman Conor he was very professional and put our minds at ease. he did a lot of leg work for us check this feature check that feature. he definitely went above and beyond for me and my family. he made it so easy from start to finish. buying a new vehicle is always expensive and nerve wracking to say the least. but i would definitely recommend Meador Toyota and ask for Conor he will treat you right. thanks again for making it easier Conor

Waited nearly two hours while the oil was being changed only to find that they had ripped off half of my rear bumper supposedly in the car wash. I was assured that they would have the part to fix it the next day. A week later I still have a partially detached bumper and have not heard back from them as promised. Never again.

I live in Ogden, UT and been looking for a new to me Prius. After striking out in Utah, I took a look at Phil s in Pocatello. I looked on their website, and low and behold! They had the exact Prius I wanted, with lower miles that I was looking for. I called up and got a hold of William. I set my expectations that I would like more details on the car and higher resolution photos, before I even walked out the door to make the 2 hour drive. William humored me with my million questions. When I arrived, William had my car washed and ready for test drive. The car was exactly like he described and I knew I needed to have it.William did all the paperwork outside with me and I only had to spend a few minutes in finance.Despite the drive from Utah, my experience was top notch and worth my time!Thanks again guys!

Highly recommend this Toyota dealership. I had trouble with my windshield washer fluid, which seemed to be frozen, while traveling through Pocatello. Called the dealership and spoke with Kim who said to bring it by. When I arrived, I was in the garage within 2 minutes and had 3 technicians working on it, including Kim. They suctioned out some fluid and added a Deicer which took a while to work--about 6 hours--but eventually solved the problem--at least for now. It's only 11 degrees here in Pocotello this morning. When I get back to Alpine, Wyoming and minus 14 I'll need a warm garage and a hot blanket for my Prius V!

My girlfriend and I had an awesome buying experience. We live in California and bought a 40th Anniversary 4-Runner here. Jen was extremely nice and the buying process was very smooth. This dealership was so much more friendly than the dealerships we got around here.

Had our Prius in to have the battery compartment cleaned. It was pleasant news when the mechanic came to tell us it was ready to go and at no charge, as our year Prius is screened and doesn't need to be cleaned. What impressed us is that they could have charged us, and we'd never know the difference. But they are an honest business. We appreciate all of you and highly recommend this Toyota dealer service department. Thank you

12/21/2022I called to get a quote on transmission flush. I waited on hold for several minutes before they hung up.05/25/2023I called to ask the simple question of what Transmission fluid they would recommend I use in my Corolla. The first employee asked for my vehicle year, make, and model, then put me on hold for 10 minutes, before the call ended. I called again. the Second employee, asked for my VIN, and put me on hold. for 1 hour and 7 minutes. I hung up and called another Toyota Dealer, who answered my questions in 3 minutes.

I can't say enough good things about Phil Meador Toyota. Hands down, this was the easiest car buying process I've ever experienced. I was looking for a car for my wife for a few months without any success. I called Phil Meador because my family has purchased several vehicles from them in the past and I was striking out in the treasure valley. I'm so glad I picked up the phone and called because Tad tracked down the perfect Corolla Cross for us! Seriously, it had all the features we were hoping for right down to the cypress green color! My wife and I couldn't be happier - Tad was courteous and professional. It also arrived sooner than I expected, it was reasonably priced, and well equiped! He took time to go over everything with me and make sure I was aware of all the features and how to operate them. Also, Mike in financing was awesome! He was equally personable and professional, plus he got my squared away in no time! Thanks for everything you guys - I'll be back the next time we're looking for a car!

I have been leasing cars from Phil Meador for a few years now and I have always been impressed. They have outstanding service from the service department, to the car salesmen to the financial guys. This past Saturday, I went in to see Jesse Howell about my lease ending and my options. He took a large chunk of his day out to talk to me about my options and shared his knowledge in educating me. I always receive the best service and kindness from Phil Meador Toyota. I can't recommend the team more. Highly recommend this dealership and Jesse! He is great to work with. Easily one of the nicest salesmen we've ever worked with. After a terrible experience with a Toyota dealer in our own backyard, we worked with Jesse down in Pocatello through texts and phone calls to get the vehicle we wanted without a hassle. It was well worth the wait and the short drive to pick up the car. Cannot say enough good things about the honesty and integrity Jesse brings to Phil Meador. Glad to hear he got Salesman of the Year, too. It's well deserved.
