Kevin was absolutely fantastic! I called for a price comparison on a heating core issue. He let me come in so he could check out the issue, and was happy to show me exactly what was going on also. He was able to fix it that day, at a great reasonable price, which was a big lifesaver!! Great service, honest work, and friendly down-to-earth conversations. Definitely will always be taking my car to J & K Auto Repair from now on!

I can't say enough positive things about Kevin and my experience with J and K Auto Repair. He is honest, friendly, and does great work.My girlfriend and I recently used Kevin to run diagnostics on our car to see if we needed an new alternator. He could have easily just said yes and charged us a bunch of money, but instead he did the tests and said that in his opinion we still had some good miles left on our current alternator. Then he mentioned that we should budget for a new alternator in the months to come and told us that we have a loose engine bolt that need to be fixed also. He said he would happily do the work that same day or we could wait until our budget and timing was better, zero pressure. Kevin is good at what he does. and equally important for us "non-car" people he is an honest friend who looks out for your safety and budget. Old-school trustworthy car repair! The best. Go see Kevin.

I had recently purchased an older used car and I wanted some diagnostics done on it. I called and was able to get my car in that same week! He was nice and friendly and explained everything to me.I needed a little bit of work done-wheel barring and tire rod, and he was able to fix it that same day. He is reasonably priced and didn't take advantage of me. He even gave me a ride home, so I didn't have to wait in his shop while he fixed my car. I highly recommend him!

Thank you so much for getting my brakes replaced so quickly! Every other place I called put me on a waiting list a month out and Kevin got me in the day I called. Amazing communication too which I definitely appreciated. Would highly recommend and will be going there for all of my car repairs.

seriously trust the 5 star reviews, Kevin's the most pleasant, helpful mechanic I've ever met. Engine misfired on my way to Montana and Kevin gave me guidance on the phone and immediately opened his garage at closing hours to get me in, before driving me to my motel for the night so I could be on the road the next day.If you want honest pricing and a clearly communicated diagnostic, this is THE SHOP"I'd rather have good karma than more money"-kevin

I just met these men. And absolutely 5 stars I googles mechanics near me and they were the only one with a full 5 stars so i gave them a call. I just bought a used car the power steering went out. They went as far as contacting the place I bought the car from to see if they would make things right. They were willing to work with me on timing and towing my vehicle to the dealership I bought it from. Definitely will be coming back and referring everyone to them.

My 18 year old daughter was stranded with a flat tire in Pocatello. I tried 3 other businesses and they couldn t help. Kevin answered and was helping my daughter within 10 minutes of the call. He made her feel at ease (she was scared and alone ) and he took great care and worked fast to get her back on the road. Thanks for your help!!

Kevin is extremely kind and knows exactly what he's doing! I came to him because my A/C wasn't working and he easily found the issue and fixed it for me! He also noticed another issue with my car that other mechanics wrongly told me was a $500 fix and he fixed it for me! He even made sure to have me drive around with him so that we could make certain that everything was working as intended. He is absolutely amazing and I felt very welcome in his shop. 10/10! would 100% recommend this guy to anyone! our gas truck got filled with diesel and he got us in immediately and fixed the pickup within an hour or two and we were back out. amazing work and great guy!

Definitely recommend J&K!! This auto shop really cares. My car battery had died, wouldn't hold a charge, and I was having a nightmare trying to get roadside assistance. J&K came to my location, installed a new battery, and had my car running again within the hour! They even helped me call local towing companies to cancel any tows that may have been ordered for my location. The service was very friendly, transparent, and reasonably priced.Service: Battery

We were traveling from SLC to Big Sky, MT when we ran into car troubles 30 minutes outside of Pocatello. We found Kevin and he was so knowledgeable and kind. After taking a look at our car and realizing we couldn't fix it in one night, he drove us to the bar to wait for our friends who were a few hours behind us. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe to continue on our journey. We were still able to go on our trip and Kevin had our car fixed by the time we came back! Fantastic work done quickly at a great price with great customer service.

Only place in pocatello who was able to get me in without a 2-3 week notice. Kevin was awesome, gave me a great price and dropped me off at my house and delivered my car back to me. Moved his schedule around to help me out, had my car fixed the very next morning after calling him for a quote. Great guy and did a great job on my jeep will definitely go back in the future for other repairs.Service: Auto maintenance

There are still good people in this world. Our truck broke down on our vacation and Kevin was the only mechanic to come and help us.Hundreds of miles from home we were more then worried .We made it home with his help and advice .Thank you Kevin for being that guy !

This guy was AMAZING! He picked us up off the side of the road so we didn't have to wait for the tow truck, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us a great deal! 10/10 would recommend!

Total hinest guy....Been on the road traveling with my job ended up in pocatello and needed brakes done, I assumed I needed all four this guy kevin was honest and told me I needed fronts only said rears were 75 percent still... replaced a brake line as well all for less than I was expecting.. I will return when I need anything else done.. great service nice guy
