Wow! Been doing business with these guys for seven or eight years and was kind of blown away by what they just pulled. Maybe this is new ownership trying to find its feet, maybe it's truly just deceptive business ethics. My wife took her Honda in to have the snow tires installed that we bought from point S last fall. She picked up her car later that day. I asked her that night where the summer tires were so that I could put them in storage and she said that they had never given them to her or said anything about them and she hadn't even thought about where they might be. I went down to Point S the next day and found they had actually thrown them into a trailer out back and said that they were unsafe and we're being disposed of. I dug them out of the trailer and took them to Sun power Automotive. I had the owner as well as two mechanics check them. They looked at the date code and inspected the tires and said that they literally could not find anything that seemed unsafe or hazardous at all and that they were kind of blown away that Point S would say that. Point S never said a word to my wife regarding her tires before throwing them away. They did it without my wife's knowledge and my gut tells me they did it with the idea that in spring my wife would realize she didn't have summer tires anymore and would have to buy four new tires. Be very wary of dealing with these guys

Brian s tire and auto was able to get me in for a Friday appointment with rather short notice and I really appreciate it. My air conditioning system was needing a recharge. I am pleased to say that I can now comfortably commute.Brian is a very earnest business owner and his professionalism came full circle with my recent experience. He personally called me to follow up with my experience and that is truly what makes people want to return to a place of business. I know Brian runs a busy shop so taking the time to do that was nice.I recommend stopping here if you need service on your vehicle!

We have decided to start buying tires from a new place. Costco and Walmart have cheap tires and poor service, and we are just tired of it. We have had several of our last major repairs done here, as well as the last set of tires we purchased. So far we are satisfied. Time will tell, but I like the service and the products that come out of here. Far better quality than what I have gotten from the big box retailers recently.

So I took my truck in for a transmission leak which I had had this rebuilt transmission put in 2 years ago only had 2,000 miles on it since it was installed but always had a leak on it . The mechanics at Brian's Tire Factory missed diagnostic on it! And told me it was the pan gasket so they replaced the pan gasket filter and transmission fluid which was $206 bill. I got the truck back and the truck continued to leak so I took it back to them and also told them of the oil pressure gauge at a hot idle is dropping down to zero I do believe it is the oil pump is going bad could you take a look. They called me back two days later said it was a loose transmission line that all they had to do was tighten. I went and picked my truck up and asked about the misdiagnostic and how come I have to be stuck paying for it. I can totally understand paying for the parts but not labor for a misdiagnostic . The lady up front told me that my filter was plugged and it needed it anyways. I then explained to her that it was a brand new transmission with less than 2,000 miles and that would be impossible so she is lying to my face she gave me a sideways smirk and said oh well. Then told me that idling in the parking lot the truck never dropped oil pressure so they never even test drove it at all this place used to be a great mechanic shop I took my stuff there all the time now their prices are outrageous and the employees lie to your face do not recommend this place at all stay away!!

I went to Brian s Point S and was surprised by the service. Great people and quick service. I had 2 snow tires removed and I paid half of what the people at the Chubbuck Walmart charges me without being made to bring in just the wheels because Walmart has a weird policy about only replacing 4 tires. I was quoted that my tires would take about 30-45 minutes and to my surprise, the technician was finished in 20 minutes. Those two tires would usually take me about 4 hours at Walmart even though I would be the first appointment of the morning. I am now a loyal customer of Brian s Point S and Walmart Chubbuck will never get my business again as far my 4 vehicles are concerned. Thanks to the great people at Point S for making my experience with them a great one.

These guys are great! Mike is very nice and courteous and humble. He and his guys are so willing to make sure your taken care of, and in my experience, their quotes have always been very reasonable. They have fixed problems that would have cost $$$ if I had taken my car to a dealership. Very highly recommended!!!

Although they weren t familiar with my car (I have a diesel), they were extremely helpful and courteous over the phone and wanted to help point me in the right direction for diagnostics/possible repairs. Thanks!

The manager is really nice and they have been customer friendly/helpful. I like getting my car oil changed here because they will rotate your tires for free as a courtesy alongside charging a good price for the oil change. You do have to make an appointment to get your oil changed though.

I called this shop and they said they had the tires in stock for a fair price but not great. I went in to get them and had to come back in a couple of hours as they were busy. I came back later at the appointed time and got the tires installed. The corporation offers complementary alignment check when installing tires. At other Point S I have dealt with (Blackfoot, which is a good store and I would be happy to due business with again) It is all done at the same time but at this one I had to make an appointment for a later day. The alignment check found a problem at which he (I was dealing with the owner of the store) recommended tightening a bolt which I told them to do. Their definition of tighten is to stick an impact wrench on it and tighten till it stops or breaks, it did the later. I was then told it would be $400 to fix it and the car is unsafe to drive till it is fixed. A factory torque spec for that bolt exist for a reason but that doesn't get them more money. I had to sign a waiver before taking my car back. A different tire store recommended I talk to the owner of the store which I did and he was unwilling to resolve the problem but did admit he did not use proper tools and that he was the person I talked to at the store when it happened.

We were passing travellers and the shop was able to get us in and look at our brake issue right away. Was friendly and helpful.

Everything I have something fixed there something else breaks. I had new tires put on struts are bad $800 to fix. Had the drivers side window fixed and the drivers door lock froze up so I had to crawl from the passenger side to drivers seat. Manual transmission made that difficult for an 70 yr old lady. Took it back they couldn't get to it for 4 days. Its my only car, and the person behind the counter got upset and told me he wouldn't put me ahead of any of his other customers. I didn't ask him to but so much for accepting responsibility. Never going there ever again!!!!

I took my work truck to get a flat replaced at Bryan's Point S. The work was fast and efficient. Unfortunately the customer service was not particularly friendly, and I was met with increasingly impatient responses after each question I had. As someone who works on rough roads in very remote areas, I rely on my vehicle to keep me safe, and it felt odd that I had to go fishing for the information of what was being done to the vehicle rather than being told up front. When looking for a garage to take my personal vehicle in the Pocatello area, I will be searching for service that doesn't leave me feeling shooed out the door.

I ve been to Brian s a few times to get my car serviced. I always have great interactions with the staff and I m content with the service on my car. So I always go back. But the owner is a little weird and rude. I just went into to have them look at my car and I talked with Brian and had a very discouraging interaction with him. I showed him pictures of the error message from the Engine Light that was read when I took it to autozone. He abruptly said I don t want that. Then he started interrogating me about my car, and when I answered him it was like he didn t care what I had to say and kept interrupting me.Brian - I recommend you take a couple customer service tips and social learning cues from your staff because I don t think I want to come back again. I didn t feel like I was an appreciated customer.

I went in worried about my tire and driving back to caldwell on it. The gentleman at the counter came out and looked at it. He instantly replaced it with my spare so I could make it home safely with my children. He was so very sweet! Thank you so much for caring! Thank you for letting us make it home safely!

They didn't try to sell me anything extra, I really appreciate that. On top of that the service was incredible friendly, fast, and helpful. I was able to get in and out of the place in less than an hour (9:45am-10:30am). I will be returning to this shop for all my future tire needs in the future.

I have never written a bad review before, because I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. With that being said, I am writing this review because I have NEVER had good service during any of my visits. I had 4 flat tires within a 3 month span because of something they did wrong, and I was lied to about it 3 different times. Also, one of the mechanics smokes while working on cars and leaves your car reeking of cigarette smoke. I would never recommend this place to anyone! I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

awesome service! most places try to tell me there is a bunch of things wrong that need replaced when it's fine especially after I personally replaced things myself but this place only sells you what you need and takes care of you quickly! After going to multiple tire shops and having other places screw me over this shop now has all my business! Very friendly, knowledgable and quick.

Had engine trouble as we were passing through Pocatello just before Christmas. I called several shops in town. Brian s was the only shop willing to help us, even though they were swamped with other customers and anxious to start their own holiday. They diagnosed the problem quickly, got the parts and made the repairs. We were back on the road to Yellowstone in only two hours. The price was very reasonable. Brian and his awesome team saved our Christmas!

Terrible service. We were on a trip up north and our tire started going flat. We made it to Brian s by 4:00 and although they were open, they said they just didn t have anyone who could help us change it. There were no other customers there at the time. The guy in the garage just looked at us as the tire went down and shrugged his shoulders and closed the garage gate. No help at all. Not even just to offer assistance as we put the spare on outside their doors.

Straight forward and fair. I also was recommended services I didn't need from a different shop; Brian's took care of what I needed and didn't take advantage of me thinking I needed more stuff done to my car. Wonderfully honest and perfectly priced.

Not super impressed with the quality of the product. Had to replace a tire we got from them because my husband tore a hole in the sidewall of the front passenger side tire. The tires weren't even a year old. Couldn't afford to buy a brand new tire I had to have them put on a used tire. I won't be going back there.

I used to like doing business at Brians Tire and Auto Point S in Pocatello for my Subaru Impreza but I have become very dissatisfied with the sales and customer service experience at Brian's. I have always gotten my tires and oil changes here because they were quick, cheap and Brian is a decent guy but they really do not know much about customer service here sadly. I had them do my timing belt replacement at 100k miles and everything went great.Although, I had noticed a few days after that my AC wasnt working anymore. Not necessarily because of anything they did wrong, my AC just needs to be serviced, as I expected after 5 straight summers of reliable cold air. I contacted them and said since I was in there last for my timing belt replacement, my AC quit working and just wanted make an appointment to get it serviced. The guy who normally runs the front desk is kind of rude and always has a negative tone in his voice and makes you feel almost as if you are bothering them by calling. He immediately said "The AC has nothing to do with your timing belt." Like they were assuming I was accusing them of causing an issue with my AC? Which I clearly was not. I asked how much the service would be and they said it would be $39.95 for the AC service which I agreed to come back and do at a later date. I just called today and got the same guy on the phone who acted like I was stupid when I said I would like to go through with their AC service for $39.95 and make an appointment to come in. He said that charge is just to get their technician off his butt to simply "LOOK" at my AC. He preceded to tell me, in a very rude tone of voice, that depending on what kind of "service" it needs it will be anywhere from $40-$80 more for evacuating the system plus $15/lb for the refrigerant. I tried to clarify all this during my initial conversation but they made it seem like the $39.95 was all that was needed.Needless to say, I will no longer be doing business at Brians Tire Point S anymore. They dont give you clear explanations and details about their services or prices and they dont make you feel like a valued customer.

On a trip from Calgary to San Diego I noticed a slight bulge in the sidewall of one of my tires that I had purchased in Canada. I stopped in at Brian's Tire Factory and they immediately got the car in and assessed it. They did not have a replacement for the tire so they called about 20 other dealers on my route to see if they could locate one for me, and also checked if any had a used tire of the same size. Unfortunately no one had the tire in stock or had a used one of the same size so they offered to install a budget tire at cost (quite a reasonable price) or rotate the tire to the rear of the car, but warning me to keep an eye on it to make sure it did not get worse. I chose to just rotate the tire and made it to San Diego with no issues but Brian spent almost an hour of his time on the phone, rotated the tires and didn't charge me a dime. I don't know if I will ever get back to Pocatello but would definitely recommend Brian's Tire Factory based on the excellent service I received.
