We had an amazing stay @ the Hartland Inn! Spent 1 night while passing through on a motorcycle trip and we found the entire experience to be really great! The Customer Service was top notch - we forgot paper plates, etc.and they let us borrow "real" glass plates & bowls! And we asked about ice & they delivered right to the door. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean & nice cool temp & very quiet for being close to the highway. We will definitely visit again!

Interesting property with multiple old buildings dating back to ???? All being renovated and brought to life by owners. Room was clean, roomy, had a BIG bed, and...2 coffee makers! Drip & pod...heaven!!! Hot tub was pretty old and needs new cover but was hot and felt good. Property has big courtyard, very relaxed, garden, etc. Didn't see or hear anything about a breakfast being offered contrary to what some other reviewers said. This property is just a few minutes from McCall and located at the crossroads to other destinations so makes a good base of operations. "town" is 1 gas station, 2 bars, 3 pizza joints, 1 cafe. It was fine for a couple of nights and everyone was friendly. Fun exploring the 3 blocks that are the town.

Booked 2 rooms in the motel section. Both rooms were clean, but very run down. One room didn t have a coffee maker and tv didn t work. When I contacted the hotel, they said there was nothing they could do, sorry . We stayed here because just bought property in the area and wanted to see what the hotel was about. Overall, expensive for what you got and lack of service. Will recommend hotels in McCall when people come to visit. Worth the 20 minute drive to not stay here.

Hartland Inn was an absolutely amazing experience!! My husband and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and we weren t sure what to expect, but it completely blew us away!We stayed in the Bed and Breakfast mansion and it was so lovely! Rory and Sarah are so sweet and the food was simply incredible and absolutely worth it.It is definitely an old building and does show its years, but that shouldn t deter you at all because it has lovely charm.I do wish that there was a mini-fridge and a microwave somewhere in the shared space because it was an inconvenience to have to ask for them to put things in and take them out of their fridge and warm things up in the microwave for us. If that were adjusted, it would truly be perfect.Thank you Rory and Sarah for all your hard work! We can t wait to come back and bring our friends!

We booked this to go to the McCall Winter Carnival. We were given an early check in which was very very appreciated and completely not expected, after a long drive. The motel room was clean. The bed was ok, worn but still comfortable. The bathroom was rather small but the shower worked well. The hot tub was awesome and a great way to cap off our one night getaway. Our YouTube channel has a tour of the room as well as footage from the hot tub. If you would like to see more check it out. LINKINBIO

Super friendly staff and they remember our previous conversations about what we did the day earlier and followed up the next day with "hey howd the fishing go?" They treat you really nice the food is very very good. Nice atmosphere and comfortable stay!! Highly recommend. Was the first b&b that we ever stayed at and will definitely come back again!!! Their dog violet is also very very sweet!!

I had an excellent stay at the Hartland Inn. Rory and Sara made everyone feel very welcome. My room was clean, the bed comfortable and I love how they have maintained the history of the mansion. A highlight was the delicious breakfast with local ingredients. We had the option to eat family style and had the opportunity to meet people from all over. I highly recommend a stay here. I will be back.

The Hartland Inn feels like a home away from home. I've stayed there several times, both in the winter and summer as it is close to Brundage Mountain Resort and the town of McCall. Rory will pour you a local beer from the Stein and Stirrup bar by the front desk, swap a few stories, and share knowledge about things to do in the area. Sara makes a delightful breakfast (she might even share some fresh garden goodies if you stay in the summer), and Violet the dog is the best greeter and snuggler. The Hartland Inn is so much more personal and cozy than staying in a hotel, and is more about the experience than the room--although the historic house is beautiful. If you need anything, just ask and they will personally take care of it. I truly look forward to each stay there almost as much as the skiing or biking that brings me to the area!

The Hartland Inn is a treasure! We have not stayed there previously, but were treated as a family friend. The owners are thoughtful, attentive, and very helpful (they gave us great local information, helpful for our trip). The room was great! There was plenty of space, the room was clean, and the bed was perfect for a sound night's sleep. We will definitely stay there again!

We spent one night here in the Bed and Breakfast in the Sean room. The whole experience was amazing. The hosts were delightful and asked us what time we wanted our breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The Breakfast was amazing! Farm fresh eggs Benedict on a potato fritter with local bacon. Fresh fruit, juice and fresh baked scones. Best B&B Breakfast we have ever had. The building is steeped in history and just amazing. We will be back again!

Highly recommend staying here. The owners are friendly and our room was perfect. Clean, spacious, great water temps and pressure, delicious huckleberry scones and can't think of anything we'd change. They even provided us with hose and rags for washing windshields and ice for water thermos'. ...just a wonderful place to stay.

My wife and I stayed in the motel rooms adjacent to the main house which were fine.... clean and simple which were what we were looking for. We saw the rooms in the main house which were incredible. We had beers in the bar which was in the main house. Very relaxing, and we talked to the owner about the history of the area. If you are thinking if staying in McCall, reconsider and think of staying here Highly recommended

My husband I drove up to Cascade, McCall and on down the mountain. Stopped in New Meadows for the day and night and found this quaint little place. The stay was absolutely the BEST! We enjoyed every minute there. The beautiful grounds, hot tub & quiet country was just what we needed. We enjoyed our visit with the owner, who by the way makes THE BEST pot of coffee! He even brought it to our room! Everything was clean & neat and we plan to go back within a few weeks. Can't wait and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice little get away for some R&R. Thank You again!

My husband and I happened upon the Hartland Inn as we were traveling through the States.....what a delightful surprise! We chose to experience the charm of the historic mansion and take in the full B&B experience, and were warmly welcomed by Rory and Sara, who were willing to share stories of the home and surrounding area.We enjoyed the Sean Room, which was spacious, comfortable and clean.Following a good night's sleep, we were served an AMAZING breakfast! Fresh, creative, locally sourced, abundant and generous.....absolutely delicious!Rory was happy to supply a "to-go" package, so that we could enjoy the "still warm" blueberry-blackberry scones, for the road. We simply couldn't fit them in, after stuffing ourselves on the wonderful breakfast selections!Rory and Sara have brought their personal flair to the Inn, since taking it over only one and a half years ago, and we wish them all the best in the future.Thank you for your hospitality......we will look forward to staying with you again when we return to the New Meadows area!

Our Labor Day plans fell apart. My wife had never been to McCall, so we looked online and found the only room left was in New Meadows at the Hartland Inn. We enjoyed our stayed in the Carriage house. The room was perfect. The only negative was the noise from the room above. I'm guessing the floors are hardwood and it sounded like people moving furniture until late a night. We use ear plugs while sleeping, so it was no big deal. The owners were great to work with.

Great staff! It was 75 for a room with 2 doubles. You can stay in the mansion which is beautifully decorated with original photos and even fire extinguishers!! Also the shower was amazing and smell lightly of hot spring water!!! My skin feels great!

Stayed in the motel section. I was able to enjoy the conversations of the room next to us as I'm sure they were able to enjoy the crying baby in our room. The room was clean, nothing special and the bathroom is small. I'm sure the other parts of the hotel are nice.

This was exactly what we expected. Friendly, quaint, cute Inn and Motel. We stayed in motel room #4 which was king traveler room with our 3.5 old son. We had driven 9 hours and pretty much used the room to shower and sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. Considering the other options around I think the $85 room was a decent deal. Front desk was helpful and my husband enjoyed the craft beer at the Stein and Stirrup bar inside the main inn. If we traveled through again, we would stay here again.
