If you're going to take your car anywhere, make these guys your choice! They helped me out a ton with replacing my rear control arms. Was able to drop it off in the am and pick it up after work. Very reasonable price and friendly staff.

Whit's auto was recommended by several friends. Their integrity is second to none! I appreciate the work completed per my time-line, along with honest evaluation of other issues with my car along as well as prioritizing the work needed. I recommended then to anyone looking for a local auto service shop!

Whits took great care of me. Greg got me in and out in a quick order. All 5 stars here will be going back for anything else I need. Truck is fixed and back on the road problem solved.

I had my car towed to Whit's and I expected for it to not be worked on for a few days. I was wrong they got it in and worked in it within the day and got it fixed the next day. Awesome service, and awesome people. I will say they are a little spendy but you get what you pay for they do good work. I will continue to go here for years to come.

I like the fact that my vehicle was in a locked fence after hours. I m glad that Whit s found the exact problem with my van and fixed it. Groundhogs had chewed the spark plug wires and my van wouldn t start. I thought the fuel pump was bad. Now, if I can figure out how to keep the critters out I ll be very happy.

This shop is the best in Nampa. I have taken all 3 of my cars here and every time I go have had great experiences. Jessica and Greg are always explaining things to me in easy enough terms, so I have a working knowledge of what is being done to my vehicles. I know it takes time out of their busy days but when asked, they will even break down the need and pricing individually for a more comprehensive understanding. I have tried many other places that were not honest about work / wait time, did not accurately fix the intended issues, and would not provide itemized breakdowns, so finding Whit's has been such a relief. I could not appreciate their dedication to their field and understanding of their client's needs more. I brought in my Mitsubishi Montero A while back for an electrical issue, I dropped it off in the morning and was able to pick it up the same day. However later that night on a road trip the same issue occurred which left me with no headlights. I managed to get home safely and contacted them the next day. They were very helpful and I brought it back the following business day and they resolved the issue free of charge. I now own a Toyota and haven't had any issues I couldn't fix myself. Overall I would recommend them as they are very friendly and helpful. And seemed to get the work done in a timely manner

I went in to get my new (to me) Jeep inspected and they were quick, thorough, professional, and affordable. I was referred here from my regular mechanic shop (Morales), who was booked solid for the next couple weeks. He said they were great and I m glad I listened. Now I know of 2 great shops fault close by.

We were new to the area and asked friends for a recommendation for a mechanic. One friend said they have been going to Whit s Auto in Nampa for 20 years. Good enough for me!The friend was right to recommend Whit s Auto repair. I called, they were able to schedule me in within 48 hours. They said they would call that same business day with an update- they did.They repaired our vehicle, had it finished when promised and even recommended some maintenance items to be attended to in the near future. This felt like going to our previous mechanic (that we used for 6 years) and now we have our new mechanic.

Whit s repair is very good at what they do. Surprised the first time I used for a problem that the vehicle dealer was in able to solve after several visits. Whit s team solve first visit and in a short time. That is the same with the last visit. Honest, Quick and Knowledgeable on even the more complicated vehicles. I am a believer and they are my first stop for all auto service. Great company with truest great values. Thank you!!! We brought our company van here recently and they made sure it was in good condition without taking an arm. Brought in my truck due to a boost leak and they got me in the same day. Affordable, fair and honest so would highly recommend!

Took my car to 5 different shops and tgey all claimed they didn't know what the problem was with the driver side clonk sound while going over bumps...It was a missing bolt that cost 15$.Thanks guys for finally fixing my altima so I can ride comfortably again!

My car was making a disturbing noise that I could not pinpoint. Whit's quickly diagnosed it as a bad wheel bearing, discussed it with me, repaired it promptly, and had me going again the same day. I have a 2016 Cadillac SRX. The CUE screen in the center of the dashboard failed. I couldn t find a repair shop anywhere to replace it, other than the dealer who wanted almost $2,000 to do the job. Whit s quoted me $1,500 and after they got the part and completed the job they only charged me $1,300. Now that s a great deal and the work was performed timely with no issues or problems. This is a great shop, even if it s over 30 minutes from where I live.

Great experience. Everyone there was nice and didn t make me feel dumb for not knowing much about cars. Prices were nice/understandable and there wasn t any surprise charges. We re making this place our permanent mechanic.

I bought my 2016 Ram 1500 brand new. Unfortunately I've had some medical issues come up so I can't wrench on my vehicles like I used to. With that said, the task of finding a honest and reputable repair shop was on the agenda when I needed some work done on my pickup. This shop checks the boxes in my opinion. Dennis is honest and very friendly! Fixed the problem and down the road I go. No surprises or 20 pages of stuff that I know I don't need. They have my business going forward. Thank you!

Best auto repair shop in the Valley! Honest buisness with great customer service!We needed to have our grandsons vehicle checked for some clutch and some transmission issues. We had previously had an analysis done on it from a well known nationwide business that stated it needed a total replacement of the Clutch and the shift mechanism. Totaling $1900.00. We took the vehicle to Whits. It was thoroughly checked over. All it needed was to have the clutch and transmission serviced and a change of fluids.. Whits also replaced a belt for us. The total $174.00. The car runs great! Better than when my grandson first got it.We are very pleased with the work they did and very appreciative of the honesty and integrity at Whits . We will never go anywhere else again and will recommend them to everyone we know.Service: Transmission

Whit s was excellent. The ABS module on my wife s minivan went out, and after doing some digging to find a new one (it was a discontinued part), Whit s had it fixed the same day. Small issue that left a bad taste in my mouth with Whit's. Had a brake job done there. Work done was good. 2 weeks later I noticed that one of the lug nuts were missing on one of the wheels they removed. Not a big deal.I have a extremely busy work schedule so my wife went in to see if they could give her a matching replacement. I sent her a photo of what was on there. The one they gave her did not fit so on my next day off I went in.Dennis, the owner, was great. Very helpful and wanted to resolve the issue. I have after market wheels so it turned out to be more difficult than I thought to find a matching lug nut. After checking with the tire shop they work with and at the 2 closest big name auto-parts stores I could not find a match. I spoke again with Dennis and he said to come by the next morning and speak with Greg and they would look again.This is where the experience took a turn. Greg was very rude and very obviously did not want to waste his time with this. He seemed to want to not want to accept that his guys misplaced my lug nut and that I was somehow at fault for it missing.He said, "I just think it's weird that my guy would not have come to me after noticing it was missing. They put them all on a tray when they remove them."I agree. It is weird that a professional mechanic did not notice he was short one when reinstalling a wheel. And if it was missing one when it was brought in, which it wasn't because I have photos of both sides of it from a week or two prior with one of my other vehicles, that also would have been noticed by any professional mechanic and resolved before releasing it back to the customer. I had just purchased this vehicle and took pictures and also have to seller's photos showing it had all the nuts on the wheels.Greg is the reason I won't be returning with any of my vehicles in the future. Ultimately, it is not the lug nut that is the reason, though it is alarming they would release a vehicle missing one.

I moved into the area about 3 years ago and asked one of my co-workers for a recommendation on a mechanic in the area. They recommended Whit's Auto Repair. I have not been disappointed. They are fair and reasonable and give me honest opinions when I ask.

The mechanic thought he had identified the issue with my car, then second-guessed himself and looked into other possibilities. The problem ended up being the first issue, so he didn t charge me for the time he spent after he had found the issue in the first place. I only ended up paying for an hour and a half of work when he spent three hours looking into the problem.

Gregg and the Staff at Whit s Auto repair are top notch! Great customer care and great service. We have an older Jeep Cherokee XJ that needed some repairs. I also asked Whit s to do a thorough inspection of the Jeep and see if any other items needed repaired. Whit s provided a reasonable estimate for the repairs and performed the repairs necessary. They were very honest and easy to work with. They even picked me up at the Nampa airport after the repairs were completed. We have owned this Jeep since it was brand new and love it & we are so glad that we found Whit s Auto Repair to help maintain it for many years to come. I would recommend Whit s to anyone looking for an honest price, great mechanic work and awesome customer service!

These guys did honest work and were very friendly.I don't usually go to an auto shop because I like to do it myself. However, I was crunched for time and I brought it to this shop. They were efficient, friendly, and fast. My secondary car is now running great again and I didn't have to miss work to repair it. I will definitely he back to these guys.
