I took my car in for its regular oil change appointment. I was offered a fuel injector service deal for $10 additional which I accepted since the employee was kind.Unfortunately (2.5 hours later sheesh), I was given my vehicle back with problems. Upon turning my vehicle on a slew of warning lights were lit up on my dash that I've never seen stay on before. Check engine, BRAKE, ABS, traction control -- you name it. I notified the employees and they had no idea what happened even though they were the only ones to work on it for the past 2 hours. They told me to bring it back in the morning if it was still showing the warnings.The next day I called saying it was still a problem but they said this time to NOT bring it back since they can't fix it and instead take it somewhere else and maybe we could file a claim later to cover the repair. We did so. After the fix we called back and were told that we SHOULDN'T have done that and to bring it in for them to look at. We went back anyways at this point to file the claim even though it was repaired.A claim manager emailed us and told us to take it to a mechanic with specific certifications that we were never told about before and if it was deemed their fault they would reimburse us for the inspection and any fixes. But at this point it is already fixed so what is there to see? Only more money to lose.Convenient for them as they avoided all responsibility by being inept. Learned my lesson for going to Walmart for an oil change and letting the desk clerk add on services out of kindness. Also a scheduled 2.5 hour oil change that wasn't even a walk in? Come on.

My car was doing great until I went in for an oil change. My cars acting up and i haven't had a chance to take it back in but I've only driven it like twice since the oil change. I'm hoping my engine isn't messed up cause as someone who's already broke I can't afford a financial issue like that.

I love Garrity Walmart however went to get my oil changed Friday morning, but they weren't open till 11 that day. I called & asked If I'd be able to get my car in and was told around 11:15. I Pulled up and sat in my car, thinking someone would walk up no one did, so I got out. I went inside and stood there for about 5 mins, then was asked if I was there for an oil change; I said ya, then was told they wouldn't be doing oil changes because they had multiple tire changes appts. I was pretty upset.When I got to the Walmart by my house (Caldwell Blvd), they got me right in, and it was done pretty quickly. Then was informed I had absolutely no oil upon arrival. I wish I would have just gone there, to begin with.

Gas station/car wash working hours say open till 10pm these guys close it when they feel like to do it. One day dude said they close car wash at 9:45pm so they got enough time to close bays etc. today I got there at 9:10pm and cones are already blocking entrance so I asked employee about it and he said car wash closes at 9pm ???? Make up your mind and update working hours so people don t have to drive up there for a surprise.

They said they would fix the TPMS light --I paid them extra to do it, but they didn't. Very frustrating. They did do a good job mounting and balancing tires that I brought them to install, and the price was better than any other place in the valley.

They are not professionals. It was busy and they didn't want to rotate my tires, and they quoted some kind of rule for why they couldn't do it, problem is I have worked recently at a different walmart in the Auto center and knew this was a lie.

Brought my car down today to switch the snow tires back to the regular tires. I came in at 3:30pm and was told it would take approximately 30min. I'm still sitting here at 5:15. My car is on the rack with no tires on it. I asked Phillip at the service desk how much longer it might be as they had already gone over the quoted time by more than double. His response was "well, they're working on it" and then he just stared at me. I've been listening to his interactions with other customers, particularly a gentleman of color and Phillip was incredibly short and rude to this man. Wal-Mart should be ashamed of having him in a place where he interacts with people. He most certainly is NOT qualified to be dealing with the public. I won't be bringing my car back here for any reason whatsoever. Horrible customer service!

Went in for a tire rotation. Didn't put one of hub caps on correctly. Then the cap was lost on the road somewhere. They Didn't want to replace it. Or make it right with me. I will never buy tires or do business with them in the tire dept.

Fairview Nampa location. Their website states the auto center opens at 7am, I got there at 6:45am. Their window sticker stated they open at 8am. I decided to wait for an hour for them to open. At 8:30am, they were still not opened. I decided to leave and go to the other Walmart on 12th Street. There I was able to make an appointment for the following hour. All in all, it took me 7 hours to have 2 tires installed.

Went in for a simple flat trait, suspected I had a nail in my tire. Walked out paying 30$ for a flat repair and the next day got in my car to drive to work and the steering wheel is shaking terribly! Called Walmart and they didn t even care!! I am now sitting at Commercial Tire getting everything checked out and fixed for free! Only have 2 stars because the gentleman were nice. Will never go again.

Went to have tire repair and rotation. Next day tire cover was gone. They told me video shows wheel cover was on when it left so tough luck. Guess warranty last until car backs out of shop? Funny it had never came off before they worked on it.

I went to get my oil changed at the Franklin Wal-Mart to find a completely empty garage with one person sweeping the floor. The guy eventually comes over and asks me if he can help me, and I say, I'd like to have an oil change please. While he is standing in front of an empty lube bay and garage, he tells me they are only doing oil changes by appointment only because they are short staffed, and they are booked full. I know the Wal-Mart on 12th Avenue in Nampa is doing oil changes. So, I go over there and they get me in right away. Based on the other reviews I'm seeing, I will never be going back to the one on Franklin.

Good service, job was done quicker than expected, knowledgeable and experienced auto employees.When I arrived, the repair bays were packed with others, which made me nervous that it would take forever. It turned out that the reps were able to slide me in among many others, and help out in a better-than-expected service time.I requested that they test my battery, because recently I had shut off my engine and still had some electronics running; it was only a short while later that I had found that the battery died! My neighbor helped me jumpstart it, and tested the battery with his own tools. He told that the battery's capacity was at a level less than 50%. After testing, he recommended that I seek getting a replacement, since the battery was listed eligible for a warranty.Walmart tested the battery. They found that it reported a charge of 557 cold cranking amps (CCA), where the battery was stock-rated for 550 CCA (I was told that being over the number is good for this stat). They recommended that I look into getting a new battery for my Oldsmobile 98, because the car is supposed to be equipped with a battery of CCA 700-770.I now have the report, and new knowledge for future steps to take regarding my car's battery. I originally was going to rate it 4 stars because I did not receive a phone call as the rep told would be done, but rationalize that the presence (or lack thereof) of such did not really hamper my personal experience. 5 stars because of great service, and full interaction with the employees who were helping me (I was not shunned out or inescapably confused with terms not familiar to me).Note: I did not have to pay in any stage of this automotive service; it was entirely complimentary (which I like!). I was also not requested or paid to write this review.Thanks Walmart!

Over an hour to do two tires. I dont care that the customer service might suck I dont expect all mechanics to have great customer service. Really though an hour for two tires and nobody in front of me. I mean my car has been in there for like an hour and half for two tires.

Blew a tire and just needed it fixed. Guy said nope appointment only. I said I don't mind waiting. He kept saying NO. They do NOT have it posted anywhere that its only appointment. He wouldn't even let us buy a tire!!
