This was the only highly rated shop in Nampa that could get my Honda Element in soon to get some serpentine pulley noise looked at. Diagnosed as the water pump, they repaired it and I had it back in 24 hours.Very pleased with the quick service. Will definitely go back when I need something done.

Brought in my brothers orange chevy cobalt ss for a simple slave cylinder and clutch safety switch. He paid Tims auto repair $800.00 for a $100.00 dollar part from auto zone, and they didnt even complete the job. They said he would need to pay an additional $400 for a "special bracket." We towed the car home, and I finished the job in less than 5 min with honesty no tools. Literally just twisted the cylinder onto the firewall. They were trying to SCAM us. Also, come to find out they didn't even bleed the hydraulic fluid either. DO NOT TAKE VEHICLES HERE.

Took our vehicle in to be evaluated after a local tire stored screwed up our AC system. Jeff was awesome to work with, got us in quickly and gave me a full run down of what the problem is. I was looking for a new mechanic and decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad I did! They are easy to talk with, very friendly, and most importantly fair. They called me directly before performing any work and made sure I approved of all the cost. They even gave me an exact quote and explained why they were doing everything they were doing. When I got back to pay for everything, they realized that they had quoted me too high and gave me an even lower price! Which mechanic does that? Only Tim's. So honest, so fair, so kind and easy to talk with. I will recommend everyone I know!

These guys are great! I take my Power Stroke for regular service and any needed repair. Jeff is always polite at the counter and quick to get back to me when I have a question. All the work they perform is top notch on my diesel. Prices are great and the mechanic that works on my truck is fast and accurate. I never feel like I ve over paid! That s a great feeling for outstanding service!

Excellent service! I had been living in my van when the power steering went out. Tim s was the only place that would take it on such short notice and I got lucky that was so, because I wouldn t have had such a great experience anywhere else. Even with the last minute drop off, with no guarantee from them it would be done in one day, the team understood the issue of my house being out of commission and stayed late to ensure everything was fixed. The staff are so caring, friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer and could make them my local, I absolutely would recommend Tim s to anyone

Great experience with Tim's Auto, I spoke with Jeff about some issues with my 05 F150. I was having AC problems and a noise coming from my serpentine belt, they diagnosed it and gave me a call with a quote very quickly. Had the truck done within a timely manner for the work being done and also let me know about some other issues they had found while doing their multi-point inspection! I will be back and will be recommending them to friends and family for future work! Thanks again!

We brought my daughter's car into the shop for a pre-road trip safety inspection and oil change. They were very upfront with us and helped us to decide what repairs were needed to make her trip safe and what could be postponed. We really appreciated the speed with which they made those repairs as well! We will be coming back

We've used Tim's Auto Repair and Service to smog both of our vehicles as well as to diagnose issues, some of which turn up not to be issues at all. Tim's staff is knowledgeable, courteous and have kept us apprised on the status of the work-in-progress. Additionally, the owner displays vintage car "stuff" in the display case, making the time spent waiting for a smog check enjoyable and informative. "Customers don't expect you to be perfect they expect you to fix things when they go wrong." Tim's did just that with excellence. I brought my truck in for an oil change and to fix a small leak. They did so at a fair price; however when I brought my truck home I still had a leak. I brought it back, they found out that the new leak was a faulty oil filter. they replaced the filter and even gave me a bottle of cleaner for my new concrete pad that had oil on it at no additional cost. I recommend Tim's to anyone looking for an upfront honest mechanic, and I will bring my truck back if I need any additional work done.

Tim's Auto Repair shop was great to deal with on my Jeep repairs. The staff was very friendly and quick to diagnose the problem. They worked in a very professional manner and were very fair in the pricing. When looking for a repair shop, go no further than this one. They fix the problem without all the up selling hype. They actually care about their customer.

We had a bothersome SUV that had to have a fuel pump replaced. The day after we got the car back, it broke again. Then we returned the car and they fixed it. A few days later, the pump broke again! Each time, they were different parts. Each time, the manufacturer was to blame and not the mechanics. Despite this, each time, we were not charged as they felt sympathetic toward us. Later, we received a 100 thousand mile service and the next day, another part broke. They charged us for parts but not labor. Each time, Jeff at the desk was kind and courteous, and their mechanics helped us get back and forth to the repair bay. Until recently, I was a long time customer (16 years). If it wasn t for me purchasing a new car with services now provided by the dealership, I would use Tim s Auto Repair for all of my car needs! I live in Boise so if my car broke down, I would either tow it or limp it into their shop because I could trust them and the technicians are so good!!! The office manager knows his stuff and is as so honest regarding cost of repair! All women...if you want a honest auto repair shop that will not rip you off or treat you like a dummy, go to Tim s Auto Repair and Service! I wished they had a second shop in either Meridian or Boise...that s how great they are!

They went above and beyond to help me figure out a brake drum I had ordered and installed myself was faulty. Very helpful. Very friendly.My car overheated on the freeway, so I pulled into Nampa, and at 4:30 PM, I didn t have a great chance of getting any help in a place I didn t know.But Jeff took mercy on me and pulled my car in to do what he could in the time that was left, even though he was busy for 3 days out. When we found the problem, he helped me call around to see what other shops would have time the next day to help me out, and then printed me out an invoice so I knew what to expect and to make sure I wouldn t get taken advantage of.

Gave us a great deal and quick turnaround on a radiator for our Highlander when we were trying to get out of town on vacation. Gave me a second opinion on another shop's bid when I asked, knowing they weren't likely to get any work out of it. Very nice of them!

One of the best mechanic shops I have ever used. I will only use them in the future. Service is fantastic, prices are great, but most importantly, they are good, hard-working people who will do a great job on your vehicle. I drive from 40 miles away so that they can do the repair work on my vehicles. Highly, highly recommended!

Towed car in, drove car out. Honest and fairly priced, delivered car in time frame promised. Will definitely return again.Update: Have returned several times, and have been impressed with the work and the price. Even when the estimate has been higher, if the actual work cost less I was charged less. Sadly that isn't always the case when it comes to auto mechanics.

They were great. Never been there before and needed a smog. I was lucky because it took less than 10 minutes. They were really nice and I was happy with this visit. Not sure about other services but smog was awesome.

Regular customer. Always friendly. Will take care of you very quick if they are not busy. If they are, they are worth the wait! They always do good work and great price. So much so i still coordinate getting vehicle out to nampa when i live in boise. Only mechanic i will go to and have for over 2 years with more to come. Thanks for great work.

Had a bad experience and wont be back. They say early bird, so I dropped my vehicle off the night before. I didn't hear from them before 5 PM the next day. No communication. They were pushy and rude when I said I needed to wait a week for their outrageous quote and charged me 100 bucks just to get it off their lot. I do not recommend!

We drove down to Eagle from Spokane for Thanksgiving. Were having what felt like engine misfires the entire way. Stopped at an O'Reilly's and after scanning the codes they referred me to Tim's Auto. Called Tim's at the very end of the day on Wednesday night, and they were able to get us in the day after Thanksgiving, and give the car the necessary tune-up. They got us back on the road to go home in great mechanical condition! Thank you guys!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning
