Jamie and misty were super helpful and upfront and honest with us about the car. they were willing to work within our budget and get us the best deal possible. We did not feel pressured and there were no back and forth games as with many used car dealers. We would definitely recommend dealing with them. It was worth the 300 miles we traveled. As a mechanic who knows about cars they listened to my concerns and didn't talk down to us.. They listened to our needs and concerns as buyers. Waiting room and restroom were clean and inviting. The purchase process was very expedient and painless we were out the door quicklyThanks again to mad hatter motors!

From the minute I stepped on the lot, I was greeted by Jamie and found the truck I was looking for. He was super easy going and great to work with! Then Misty stepped into the picture and carried on with great customer service. Their mechanic was also awesome. And I say all of this openly as I typically hate dealing with car dealers, but these guys were awesome! Got my wife and I financed, gave me a great deal on my trade in, and just made the whole thing happen. Couldn t be happier with the truck! We will Definitely be working with them again in the future!

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever tried to work with. I stumbled across a vehicle on their site that was for sale that I really liked. I called them to see if I could set up a test drive since I live 2 hours away. They told me that the manager was using the vehicle as his personal vehicle but that they would call him and get details and then call me back. After not hearing from them for a week, I called back. This time I asked to speak to someone in sales and told them I would like to make a cash offer on the truck. I made my offer and they told me they would talk to the sales manager and call me back. Another week went by and I never got a call back. I called again asking about the vehicle and what my results were from the offer. They told me that no offer was made. So I told them that I would be in town in a few days and that I would like to stop by and drive the truck and make an offer in cash in person. This was on a Wednesday and I would be coming over on Monday. I told them to please call me on Friday let me know if the vehicle was still available. They told me they would keep me updated. Again, never got a call back. So Friday I call and ask to speak to the manager. They tell me he is unavailable but will call me back. To this day, still javelin not recieved a call back from this dealership. Would not ever consider purchasing a vehicle from these people. Not at all trustworthy whatsoever and by far the worst dealership I javelin ever tried to work with. Save yourself some hassle and try a different group to buy from. This place is the absolute worst in history.

Hello! First, I would like to thank Jamie and MaD HaTTeR MoToRsfor a very smooth and easy experience at buying the Truck I wanted! I knew what I was looking for. I search 4 weeks for the truck I wanted at a price that worked for me On-Line. I found my truck here. I did most of this On-Line, as I live a fair distance away from their location. When I completed my purchase and was able to go and drive my truck home, there was a problem, which turned out to be (Thank God!) a bad sensor. I contactedJamie 1 week later when I discovered this. We made arrangements, and HE SENT out his mechanic to me; who then drove to my home and changed out that bad sensor. I AM 67 years old and I now am in possession of the finest, nicest andmost satisfying Vehicle that I have EVER owed. So I Wanted to tell Him and Them Publicly, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

So far my family has purchased two vehicles from Mad Hatters. They are low pressure on sales, and easy to talk to. Granted used vehicles are going to have a variety of issues, dents, and dings, but they do work with you to resolve any of those concerns during the purchase.

Don t buy from them! I bought a car I saw on Craigslist the post said it had a clean title but when I brought it home and tried to put insurance on it they said it had a salvaged title, so I can t put full coverage on it and he charged me more than he should have for a car with a salvaged title! My husband drove clear from eureka montana to get it! He is a liar and a scam artist!

I don't even know where to start with this dealer and the whole crew down there. And by my 5 star rating you know it's a good review. And I'm really sorry it took me THIS long to get to it. About every couple weeks I've reminded myself to do so, but never have. And Mad Hatter deserves better.2019. Me and my family loved our 2009 Avalanche. Loved it. But with two horses (need 3 or more), two ATVs, and 35 years old looming (I was DONE tent camping), it just wasn't enough truck. Pure and simple.So how was I to get a travel trailer, two ATVs, two kids, a dog, gear, and my wife and I into the woods? I looked at a TT with a front cargo deck, but the ones big enough for both ATVs were TOO big for the Avalanche. I looked at a cab over camping on a flatbed trailer. But still tight living and expensive.My favorite idea, and I'm still hung up on it, was a flatnosed, front engined schoolbus, with the back cap moved forward for an 8 foot deck and the inside converted to living quarters."K hun, realistically, how much time and money will that take?"K. Fine.So then I had the idea of a flatbed pickup. Nothing new or fancy, cause budget is a factor. So I started searching, and found Bertha the Bear, a 2005 Chevy 3500 Duramax at Mad Hatter.Now what they did for me I don't want anyone to expect. They are in the used vehicle market. These vehicles aren't perfect and anyone that expects that is insane. But upon pulling away, within 24 hours, it threw a code for a turbo problem.I called and just asked if they knew if it'd done that. They said they wanted me to have a good, working truck. Over the next months it was in several times for that code. They invested in my truck, in me, and my family. Not because they had to, they did not. Not because I was a buddy, I'd just popped in. And not because they needed my review, there's hundreds of them.They invested in my home and life because they're GOOD PEOPLE. They're true Idahoans.I can not say enough good things about them. They're the kind of dealer that has looked at other, lying and swindling places and said, "nope. They're the problem. Let's do it right."Thank you guys.

Jamie at mad hatter motors is awesome! Just bought our second truck from them and couldn't be happier. Very nice to work with and accommodating when it comes to getting paperwork done. Definitely be buying from them in the future

We bought a truck from Mad Hatter today and the entire process was seamless and stress free. Went in on Friday night to look at the truck and liked it, but needed to get the baby home so we asked him to take a look at our trade and run the numbers. We gave him our out the door budget and he made it happen. Went back the next day to test drive the truck and my husband ended up liking it. He honored his price from the previous day despite finding a potential issue with our trade that we didn't know about. Not pushy or gimmicky and there was zero pressure. He even said if an issue comes up in the next couple weeks he'd fix it even though the truck sold as is, which now having read previous reviews I don't doubt. I absolutely dread buying cars because I've had too many bad experiences with dealerships in the past. I actually walked away feeling like he gave me a fair price on our trade in and we got a good deal. I will update this review if anything changes, but as of right now I have no complaints and would recommend you go to Mad Hatter if you want a stress free car buying experience.

Mad Hatter hooked me up! I was able to get the truck I wanted with incredible finance terms. I highly recommend their services. Not only do they have a great sales department their mechanic is top notch.

I wanted to write about my experience at Mad Hatter. They were very helpful from the start. I ended up buying my 2007 Expedition from Jamie, it's a very nice car and very clean!! It's clear he takes pride in the auto's he sales not to mention he goes the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. Never once was I pushed to do anything and he was up front with us about everything, It was a very pleasurable car buying experience. If you are on the fence about buying from a Mom and Pop dealership I recommend you give these guys a try, I feel you will surely be impressed.Thanks again to Jamie and the crew at Mad Hatter, I will be back again!Jeremie

Most relaxed car buying experience ever. No pressure, no games. Great truck, exactly what I needed, at a great price. These folks are down to earth. You don t get the whole song and dance of scuzzy I m your BFF car salesman dog and pony show and I ll throw in a free tank of gas, and free car wash just for you BS to pay full price for an overpriced truck. (I am, however, looking forward to winning that AR15 ). What you see is what you get and the pricing is good. Good financing. Straight forward. Easy. Good inventory. So glad found these guys and VERY happy with my truck!!!!!

BEST EXPERIENCE BUYING A VEHICLE!I will start off by saying I wasn t asked to write a review, I am not a family member or friend of anyone at mad Hatter motors.I had been looking for a truck. I am very happy that I stopped at Mad Hatter motors. I wasn t greeted by a sales guy, I was greeted by the owner. We looked at a few trucks he had ( which he had the best selection of trucks versus the other competitors ) Jamie found me and amazing truck and help me stay in my budget. The truck was sold AS IS, which is normal. I found a small oil leak a few days after I bought it. I asked Jamie if he could look at it since he is a mechanic. He ended up fixing the leak and didn t charge me anything. He did not have to do that! It would have been a $1600 repair if I went to a shop. Not only did he find me a truck but he took care of me after all was said and done. I will recommend anyone and everyone to go and buy a vehicle from Mad hatter motors! These guys care about their customers! I wouldn t buy a vehicle from anyone else.

We purchased a 2011 Nissan Armada from Mad Hatter. Jamie was very easy and pleasant to work with.... no high pressure salesman attitude at all!! He negotiated a fair price and also fixed a couple of non mechanical items that needed repaired AND also extended a one month, 500 mile warranty on the vehicle! We drove it to McCall and over some pretty rough, snow covered roads. The 4X4 performed excellent! We are very happy and would recommend purchasing a vehicle from Mad Hatter. The experience was fast, easy and stress free! Thank you, Jaime!!

My husband and I bought an amazing 2010 Chevy truck for a great price from Mad Hatter. The sales man was one of the best I have ever worked with and the guy even delivered it to our house in Cascade because my husband was just out of the hospital. I will never buy a used car from anyone else. They have definitely taken care of my family and me. I would recommend them to any and everyone!!!

I was looking around for a Ford Excursion and mad hatter had one. I don't shop at little dealerships so this was my first experience. I looked at the reviews and decided to go take a look. Well I ended up buying the excursion. The buying experience was good. They gave me a great deal on my trade. I would shop at mad hatter again. They only thing I am not accustom to was the buying process was different than going to a normal dealership. If you have to finance I would suggest going to the bank and getting pre-approved first so that way you can take the rig home same day or pay cash. Don't hesitate to visit Jamie's lot, the reviews from others here are for real. Thanks again Jamie!

Definitely a great place to go if your looking to get a car. The owner and his employees were extremely helpful and took there time to help us. They were not pushy which was a big deal to me. It was very obvious that they cared about our decisions. They made it very easy for us to get into a great car! Me and my husband are extremely grateful we went through them. They also have a very friendly and clean atmosphere.

Very professional staff that is knowledgeable about the vehicles they are selling. I had found them through Facebook marketing when I was looking for a replacement for my old worn out truck. James and staff were courteous and answered all questions I had about the truck I bought. They even went as far as delivering it to Oregon for me. If you are looking for a good deal with an honest company these are your people to deal with. We love our new truck.

10/10 recommend this place! Jamie helped my boyfriend go from a rundown 1995 dodge to a 2011 Kia. My boyfriend is 19, no credit, little down payment, no co-signer, and just got a new job. after filling out SO many finance applications through out the last 4 weeks with other dealers, Jamie got him approved within a couple days. We were almost out of options. It Was a smooth experience, no pressure or hassle whatsoever. So glad I listened to the reviews and dragged my boyfriend here. He is absolutely in love with this car, not to mention the amazing deal he got on it!!! The dog that greets you on the lot is a plus too! Thanks Jamie!

Just bought my Kia Sportage from them. Jim was super great to work with and he was nice enough to allow us to drive it to Boise to have my mechanic look at it. He gave us a two month grace period and said to bring it back in if I had any problems with it. He wasn t pushy at all, which I appreciated. His business hours are super convenient. Bonus...there s a cute little dog that greets you. Would definitely purchase from here again.

Mysty and Jamie were really helpful. I had to trust them as I was having the truck shipped cross country without seeing it in person or driving it. They kept their word and were very patient with my shipping company. I recommend them and would do it again in the future.

I went to Mad Hatter's about a week ago, But I held off on writing this comment until now because my experience there was so unbelievable I couldn't even imagine it being true. I went in there with the expectation of just looking at a car, Because other car dealerships had told me my credit was pretty bad. I ended up finding a car that I really liked so I asked if they could run my numbers and see where I would need to be in order to get the car. Then I was told that my credit wasn't as bad as I thought and that they could get me approved for a loan by the next day. Long story short I got the car I wanted with excellent service.

We were treated well and got a decent price for our Silverado! It was interesting that the person before us says "he's a great guy, you will be happy you came here". What is crazy we were happy we came there!!! When we started this process of looking for a truck, we were expecting to get an older truck and not in good shape but we didn't, we got a great truck!

We have been loyal customers to Mad Hatter Motors since around 2014. We've purchased several trucks from Jaime and his crew, and these vehicles were reliable and clean. Just this year we bought a 2014 Ford Escape and now a 2013 Dodge Ram 2500. Financing can be a challenge, but we have never been turned down at Mad Hatter. And even if your original financing is at a higher rate, Jaime will revisit your financials situation months down the road and find you a better refinancing deal.
