Quick turnaround time and excellent quality. No warranty on driveshaft builds and repairs unfortunately. Out of all the builds we've had done, one u-joint failed within a week. Otherwise, we've never had an issue.

Brent and his crew are absolutely golden. If you need anything in the field of drive line components that are a bit different the general consensus in the area is go see Brent. They absolutely know their stuff.

I am visiting from out of state and my carrier bearing and u joints needed to be replaced. Gavin got me in and the next day my truck was ready to go. If I were local I would tell everyone I know to use this shop. Thanks for getting me back on the road in a timely manner.

I give this company a 5 star rating for pricing, attentiveness to the customers needs, promptness in scheduling and completion of work, and sharing of helpful knowledge that reduced my overall cost.I was referred to Idaho Drive Train & Differential as an alternative to replacing the driveshaft in my Ford F250 Super Duty 4X4, with a new product, by a local parts retailer. After much research, including contacting multiple retailers within my area, I realized my options for replacing the Driveshaft were both very limited, and expensive, (purchasing from a vendor Online and waiting for shipment delivery, @ about $900 to $1000 for the shaft & Pinion yoke, plus any labor costs). As most people realize, whatever kind of shop work that's performed, is vehicle, Make, Model, and type of damage repair specific. So your *costs* may vary from mine. However, Customer service and professionalism in quality work, has an equally equitable value. You'll see this from this shop!Lastly, "sharing helpful knowledge", that reduces the cost of calamities like what I experienced, was a step above as well from Idaho Drive Train.I suspected since my truck was a 4X4, I may be able to engage the 4X4 and drive it the 25 miles to the shop, with the rear drive line removed, and eliminate the cost of having it towed to the shop. In my F250 specific drive equipment, Brent confirmed that indeed I could! Very helpful!Give them a call. I saved several 100's of dollars and have like new Drive components!

These guys rock! They went out of their way to accommodate are large commercial insulation truck and fixed our drive-line in 24 hours. A local competitor wanted 1 week to get me in and a week to fix. The total bill was very reasonably priced!

Don't often give 5 stars, but these guys are amazing. Customer service was on point, turn around was super fast for how busy they were, and pricing was more than fair. Highly recommended place for you buisness.

Gavin was great and straight to the point, a thorough inspection revealed it wasn t the driveline, but something less serious. I thanked and appreciated their honesty.

I can't say enough good things about Idaho Drivetrain. I was fully expecting my bill to be several hundred dollars, however they fixed my bent driveline in 1 day for much less than I was expecting and told me that my U joints were still in good shape.Very honest people to work with. I woundn't go anywhere else.

I typically like to do my own automotive repairs... let s just say I don t trust just anybody to work on my vehicles. I tore into the front differential on my 99 Chevy Suburban and about half way through the job I realized I didn t have the tools I needed to finish putting it back together. I finally decided to take it in to Idaho Drive Train to have them finish putting it back together and I couldn t be happier with their work. In less than 24 hours it was ready to go back into my rig. They are very friendly and have excellent customer service. Don t hesitate to use them for all your drivetrain needs.

Had them build a drive line for my older Dodge pickup that we're doing a Cummins swap in. Drive line was exactly what we asked for and at a fair price. Very fast turnaround time. Brent is very friendly and professional.

Needed an inspection. Spoke with Brent, expected to spend a substantial amount of $$ as I have been suspecting bad u-joints. They lifted the Jeep on the rack and checked everything I asked them to check, including the differential fluids, and more. Gave me some suggestions, showed me some stuff underneath, and said I would eventually need to change out a CV joint, but they didn't charge me for any of that. These guys are nice, knowledgeable, professional, and very fair. I highly recommend them.

Wow!!!! I could not be more impressed and surprised by the service, price, respect, and honesty that Brent and his staff have given me. Let me tell you why...First, I took my RV to Brent on the advice of another fine business, Economy Transmission in Boise, and I expected to pay an arm and a leg for my drive train to be serviced. Well, that was not the case with these guys. Brent came back and gave me two options, the first (the permanent solution) was a little more than I wanted to spend because I'm selling it., but then he offered me a second option for $80. Eighty dollars!?!? I took that option. Then on top of the ridiculously low price, he accidentally bumped my RV with something and not only let me know about it, but he also fixed it perfectly when it probably didn't even need to be fixed. The drive train repair was done professionally and I do not foresee it ever being an issue again. This guy and this business are an amazing example of how businesses used to be and should be. Kudos to them...Amazing!!!!!! By the way, I am in no way associated with Idaho Drive Train, I don't work there or have an interest in the company and I have never written a review of a business on here before, but my experience prompted me to make sure that everyone else knows that these are truly quality people.

I have a 2001 Ford F-250, The Orange beast , I was having issues with noise coming from the rear axle. I was quoted by another shop over 3k for direct replacement on everything inside the axle. I then found Idaho drive train, I scheduled a day for them to review the issue. They determined that it was just bearings in the rear axle. They communicated very well, and fixed my issue for a less than a 3rd of what the other shop quoted me, and replaced the bearings. I would highly recommend this crew, they did a great job for my F250. I would definitely recommend and will be going back for future repairs that are out of my skill level.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had them put new universal joints in my front axle shafts ( I removed them). They were able to install new Spicer u-joints the same day. Their prices are very reasonable and they do quality work. I will use them in the future for any driveshaft or differential work I may need done. Both guys I talked to were very polite and professional.

Not impressed. Made an appointment and took my vehicle in a day early and left it. I was told it would be moved to a secure area. Never got a call the next day. So the day after my scheduled appointment I called and was told they forgot to do the scheduled work and then asked where I parked it. So it was never moved to the secure area. When I went to get the vehicle the bill was for more than what I was told it would cost. They did adjust the bill. Organized confusion should be their slogan.
