Our Tahoe was having issues recently and Encore got us in right away, fixed the issues, and charged us a fair price We have taken our vehicles there multiple times and are confident they will take care of us. We enjoy supporting a company of integrity. Thanks Encore!

This place is awesome! When I took my van in and my husband took his civic in, our vehicles were fixed the same day and with no up-charges. They were straight to the point and honest. They ended up waiving my diagnoses charge and fixing my relay right there. I only paid for the part. I ve never been to such a fair mechanic before. We will only take our vehicles to Encore from now!

They are reliable and do great work they are friendly and are busy but well worth it if you have any vehicle emergencies! Greg and Henry are friendly and knowledgeable! They are kind of expensive but they try to get original parts for cars! That won't break!

My car started not running right and a bunch of warning lights came on. Greg said to bring it over and he'd test the battery. There was a bunch of battery acid on the battery and connections. They had the correct battery and terminal. I'm so thankful for their fast, kind service! I'll recommend them to anyone who needs a great shop!

These guys are the real deal! Kind, courteous, respectful and honest. They kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle throughout the day. They figured-out what was causing the problem in my vehicle in a timely fashion and the cost of repair was reasonable.I am really happy I now have a trusted mechanic/auto shop to take my vehicles to. Encore auto rocks! I recently experienced a large oil leak and it turned out to be a defective oil filter. Encore took care of the problem with no questions asked and even agreed to share in my tow bill cost. I am extremely grateful and appreciative of their professionalism and honesty. Additionally since I have been going to them I have never experienced any issues and all of the staff that I have encountered has been friendly and responsive.Service: Auto maintenance

These guys are up front, honest, and great auto mechanics. Prices seem reasonable or better than dealer repair shops.They got my 2000 Tundra power steering and front end issues all taken care of. I highly recommend Encore.

Had my non running 2004 Ford Excursion towed here based off their excellent reviews for a diagnostic and repair. Spoke to Greg, he was friendly, professional over the phone and I felt that this would be a new shop that I could rely on and trust for all 5 of our vehicles moving forward. Received a call the following day from Greg that they performed a Diagnostic and found that the Fuel Pump was bad. According to Greg, the only place that had an OEM Ford Pump was in Utah. It would take a few days to have the pump shipped in and we were looking at about a week before I could pick it up. I wanted to try and get my vehicle on the road sooner so I asked if I could help source a pump which I followed up with, if this isn't something that you guys would be comfortable with, just let me know. (My place of employment sells nothing but classic Ford Parts so I felt that I might be able to help source one sooner.) I wasn't rude or condescending, just wanted to help if I could. Instead of simply telling me that this isn't something that they would be comfortable or willing to do, Greg says, "I don't mean to sound arrogant, but.............we have a two week wait on repairs right now, I was trying to do you a favor by getting you in sooner, but at this point, if you're not willing to wait or think it's too expensive, you can have it towed it out of here and you'd actually be doing us a favor. I mean, it's not an easy job, it's a lot of work, it's lifted, it doesn't run, my guys have to push it in and out of the shop......." I was caught off guard by his response as it was totally unprofessional. I deal with customers everyday at my place of employment, have been in sales for 20+ years. I would never speak to or treat a customer in this manner regardless of the situation and expect to be able to keep the doors open. The cost quoted on the repair was $1100. We had this conversation on a Friday and I told Greg that I would sleep on it over the weekend. (I was upset and didn't want to say anything out of anger to him in that moment.) I called him back on Monday and let him know that after our conversation on Friday, I had absolutely no desire to support a business that tells me that I'd be doing them a favor by taking my business elsewhere and that I would be an idiot if I did so. He seemed to agree and seemed apologetic. I had it towed to Whit's Auto Repair, they had the pump delivered to the shop the same day and got me back on the road the following day. Total cost out the door from Whit's was $680. Whit's was honest, professional and an overall great experience, especially after our unfortunate experience at Encore. I hope this review helps someone out there to make an informed decision when looking for their next Auto Repair Shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Decided to get my wife's CRV fixed here on the recommendation of a friend. Encore is a great place to get your vehicle maintained and repaired. Great people, honest and respectful. The prices are second to none and the turnaround time is exceptional. I will continue to bring my vehicles to Encore for all future needs. Thank you.

I took my car to Encore for the first time last week. I did a lot of research before choosing them. I had taken my car to a shop in Meridian and was told that I needed to replace some parts for an A/C issue. I wasn't happy with the price they quoted me. The labor wasn't bad, but I thought the charge for the parts was way too high. I called Encore for another quote and was pleasantly surprised that they could do the job (plus replace another belt) for $200 less!My mother had given me a ride to pick up my car from Encore and she had a noise coming from her driver's side door hinge. Greg came out, took a look at it, and fixed it for her right then - at no charge. She was thrilled. Good customer service means everything.With the stellar reviews I read (on Facebook, Google, AND Yelp), I was hopeful that I had made a good choice. I did! It's hard to find a good repair shop with people you feel confident in and that you can trust. I'm new to the area and am thrilled to have found Encore!

My family and I have been going to Encore for quite some time, and they've never failed to impress us. They provide services at a more than reasonable price, and are always timely. We just purchased a new vehicle, and Encore was great at working with us to check out the vehicle before we purchased it to make sure it was working properly and was a good investment overall. They are honest and friendly. I would definitely recommend them for your auto needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Glad a friend of the family told me about this place a few years ago. Very honest. Took car in to see what is discharging battery. They called and said they couldn't find the source and it would take a long time and cost hundreds to find it. Didn't even charge me the $90 that they told me it would cost to leave overnight and check the next day. Wish all mechanics were this honest. Have had only great experiences with them. And very nice people to deal with.

You can't ask for a better place to do business with than Encore Auto Repair and Sales. They will treat you fairly, unlike most of their competitors.Their customer service in impeccable, professional and friendly. I found them to be very helpful in explaining everything to me.My car was repaired and returned to me with impressive speed! They even aired up my tires for free when they noticed how low they were.My battery was replaced for a fair and competitive price and so was my head light.I couldn't ask for a better company to do business with and the next time I need anything done on my car, there is no question that I will be returning!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I am really happy that I found this place as my go-to auto repair shop. They are professional, honest and fair, and owner Henry and office mgr. Greg and all the technicians, are just good people. I actually drive a distance to this facility for my car services even though I live just a few blocks from 'another' repair shop :-) Also, 'recently did business with an auto "body" shop, and even they speak highly of Encore Auto, So obviously this place has a good solid reputation in Nampa. Encore is our go-to and trusted place for repairs and maintenance. Was just in for replacement of a broken side mirror. They were fast and responsive as usual, with the friendly and supportive customer service we have come to expect from them - as well as being the most reasonable of the estimates we received. They have earned our trust that they are looking out for us as a customer and for our vehicles - not something you can always say about a repair shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

I've been going here for 10+ years for all of my car care. They are an amazing group of people, they help me understand my problems and how best to get them fixed. They are always professional, on time, they do quick, detailed and outstanding work. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your car needs.

I have worked on my own vehicles for over 20 years and I haven't liked taking my vehicles to a repair shop because, sadly, there are SO MANY dishonest repair shops out there. In the past I've only taken my vehicles in for repairs if I didn't have the time or the specialty tools (cherry picker/lift) to do the work.I trust Encore to give a clear and honest diagnostic of what needs to be done, what should be done, and what could be done as preventative maintenance.I've been recommending others to them now for over a year. My personal experience and that of those I've recommended is the same as I've said above and that they do not pressure or attempt to coerce you into having ANY of the work performed there. They're happy to only do a diagnostic for you or to perform all of the work they recommend.I've always known them to be booked out at least a couple of weeks (except for a quick diagnostic or oil change). Their schedule is that way because they are VERY appropriately named. Definitely the best mechanics I've seen. I used to deliver auto parts in the area, and I saw a lot of different mechanics and interacted with them, Encore Auto was one of the few places I respected at my job for how they treated me and the overall atmosphere. These guys are amazing, very clean, organized, professional, and courteous. They had me taken care of within a few days! Will recommend to everyone I know.

My vehicle semi-newly purchased used vehicle, the AC compressor had apparently went out not long after purchasing so I was slightly frustrated as well. Anyhow we had called and were quickly scheduled the same week, and given same day service (I m guessing they were being thoughtful in knowing of the 90-100 degree heat). They also were incredibly affordable (a certain someone had checked/compared prices etc) and by far the most financially affordable both on labor costs and the parts. I believe it seems this establishment works off more than just the general or generic parts and labor they put more considerations into your experience as well as follow through with their quotes sometimes with a added little helpful discounts. No surprises, reliable, efficient and honest. Had to add that because they really do give the saying it s hard to find a honest mechanic justice. They will not try to make your misfortune their benefit. And that anymore is incredibly difficult to find especially being a female in this situation.Service: Air conditioning

When you don't know much about cars, it can be a little intimidating going into the mechanic! Here, Greg is super at communicating and explaining exactly what needs to be done. They have done a great job in trying to pinpoint issues with my vehicle and have been so nice to work with. And at a fair price!Everyone I've spoken with is very kind and understanding!

Amazing customer service and very helpful. I came to them with an odd issue that other places couldn t offer affordably option. They were able to give me multiple solutions and in the end help me find an affordable fix that worked for me and my car! Will definitely keep them in mind for future car service!

These guys are the best! I almost hate to post a review because we want to selfishly keep them all to ourselves.We've been in to these guys with multiple different rigs over the past couple of years. They know thier stuff, and Greg is the most helpful guy we've ever worked with, when it comes to car stuff!

They are awesome! Encore Auto Repair saved me and my company $800 compared to the other auto shops I called. I was quoted $1600 for a carb replacement on one of my vehicles at another shop. A friend told me to call them and get a quote parts and labor $788. Wonderful price, great service, great company!

My engine blew up and I had it towed to Encore. Found me a used engine and they installed it for as low as possible. That engine has lasted several thousand miles and still runs great. Would recommend them for anything automotive.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair
