American Tire & Automotive was willing to do for me what no other shop in the area would do. I had a "brand new set of 10 year old tires" and needed them balanced. The vehicle was a garage queen and the tires in excellent condition. NONE of the other tire shops I called were willing to rebalance the tires if they were more than 6-8 years old. Thank you for your willingness to exercise some common sense and take care of that for me!

These guys are awesome! I have been here 2 times I have had a nail in my tire and they have helped me out right away. Other places have these crazy weight times, but I am in and out in less than 30 minutes. I will be back

I was not impressed. Had some wheels put on and I told them to make it work and cut and trim whatever so I could turn but they didn t do anything. They scratched up both of my wheels when taking them on and off and didn t give back my custom stem caps. They also broke a lug nut on their own doing and made me pay for a new hub. They just throw vehicles in and out. If you want taken care of, go somewhere else because they just want your business and that s it.

Was told no wait time to change a set of tires, dropped off the pickup. Didn t hear anything for about 2 hours so called and they didn t get to it. Was told will be getting to it in half hour so be ready about 2 hours. Could ve called or communicated instead of me sitting around wasting my time.

Where to start... let's see, they promised our daughter's vehicle 4 different days, it wasn't ready. They told my husband they'd tried taking it for a test drive, but the truck behind my daughter's car was on jack stands. No way they'd tried taking it anywhere. Then when my husband was in there talking to the manager, their mechanic came from the back and threatened my husband, which the guy was lucky my husband didn't bite. They quoted one price and tried tacking on another $1000. The frustration alone was bad enough, but the threat and the spineless manager just telling the juvenile acting mechanic to go back to the back (bubba should have been fired for threatening a customer). Ridiculous!

Took my vehicle there for a blown head gasket. Car sat out there for a month and they did not touch it. All while the coolant/oil mix ate at my crank and bearings. They finally did the top end work on the car (took about another month) and then they replaced the oils sensing unit and the oil pump due to low oil pressure. Stated they inspect the bottom of the engine (but did not) and I finally got the vehicle back. 2300 miles later the main bearings failed in the vehicle totally destroying the motor. My new mechanic looked at it and sent me the pictures of the rusted and destroyed bearings, metal shavings all throughout. Might be a good place to get tires and oil changed but that is it.***Update 7/7/2017*** Finalized a BBB complaint on the company today. The BBB has closed the case because American Tire & Auto refused to respond to it. They are NOT BBB Accredited, I leave the decision up to you.

Super nice office staff, good communication. Attempted to mount a very unique combination of tire and wheel for me. I knew it was a long shot, and even then they tried and were super nice about it. I will 100% be back when i need tires for my daily driver.

Needed my brakes replaced, wonderful customer service, but when they said "we will do the best we can" I didn't know that meant they would put in brakes that are not for our vehicle. Our brakes lasted 442 miles before needing replaced. When asking for a a refund to help pay for our next brake job (we were on the other side of the state by then) they said they made it clear that the brakes were not made for our vehicle, but we were not aware of that. If we knew that we would have spent the $1500 to tow it somewhere else. They seemed so nice, but I feel like I was taken advantage of.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

This used to be a great place to bring vehicles for maintenance and repairs; those days are gone. Slopy work and a don't care because we are so busy attitude. Not willing to admit when they messed up and make it right. I will not be going back and I have been bringing all my vehicles here for years...NO MORE!

Very helpful, I did not buy tire from them, but they have gained a loyal customer out of me just by the way I was treated. I was in a bind and needed 3 used tires that they didn't have any of. They helped me find a place with the tires I needed and offered to get them put on at a cheaper price than anywhere else around. Also, at no charge, they fixed the valve stems that Walmart screwed up when they changed over my winter tires to my summer tires on my wife's minivan (I won't use Walmart ever again). I highly recommend this company!

One of the best shops I ve ever been referred to. These guys are incredible mechanics and very fairly priced. Fixed up the brakes on my 1969 Dodge Travco when no one else seemed able or willing to work on a vintage motorhome. Huge thank you!!

The customer service at american tire and auto was awesome. My brakes went out and I stopped in. They took care of it right away. Where to even start with this company. I used these guys because some friends at work recommended them, but it has been nothing but poor service from the start. It started with me bringing my vehicle in to get the front end rebuilt, and some leaks taken care of underneath. They told me it was the trans pan, oil pan, and trans cooler lines, so I had them fix it. $3,000 later for the front end work, and gaskets, it got finished and was sitting at there lot for 3-4 days before I was even told it was ready to pick up, and I had to call them to find that out, so poor communication. I get it back and it s leaking even more than when I dropped it off, so I call them and drop it back off. A week later, I hear nothing again, so I call and they then proceed to tell me it s the rear main seal that is leaking, along with the trans pan/oil pans leaking again because they didn t do it right the first time. So improper diagnosis and improper installation. So I give it back to them to warranty the work, and they redo all the seals and get it back to me a week later. They also replaced a handful of sensors, and the trans shift cable without any communication whatsoever. I drive it off the lot, and it s now making a horrible ticking/grinding noise coming from the driver side wheel well area I give it back to them again to diagnose and fix. Another week goes by where I don t hear a word from them. I even messaged their service advisor multiple times asking for a update, and all I get is an I ll check with no response ever. I finally called them, and they tell me the tech who diagnosed it now says I need a new front differential, and new water pump that s the problem according to them. I took my vehicle away from them after this obviously, brought it to a different shop that s a little farther away from me, but I trust them. They found the trans shift cable completely lose, not mounted back into place that s hitting the driveline and rubbing on it. They replace that, mount it correctly, and that was the only issue. Had them inspect the water pump, and to no surprised absolutely nothing is wrong with it. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will definitely not be back. Poor communication from the start, improper diagnosis, along with improper installation. They can t even put a shift cable back where it goes? Then will say it s the front diff and water pump? This is my honest experience, BEWARE.

I was actually recommended this place by another competitor so I went online and I received a free quote to get my brakes and oil change done and made my appointment for the next day. Reception was friendly upon entering, it took about 2 hours to complete, and they stuck extremely close to the quote price which was also incredibly reasonable.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Always a fair price and great service. Jiffy lube wanted 99 for oil change, I got it for 60 in full synthetic with a tire rotation here. Will continue to give these guys my business!

These guys are amazing. I got a flat this am and they came and took my tire back to their shop, fixed it. Brought it back so quickly! It was just a small fix and they did not even charge me. I was very impressed with their customer service. Everyone else I called couldn t help me.

The worst Customer service, threatening to beat up an elderly man, for no apparent reason is outrageous and so inappropriate. I will continue to tell everyone to not do service with this Business

HIGHLY recommend these guys! I stopped by to see if my lug nuts were loose then Saul and one other gentleman (sorry I forgot his name) immediately went out of their way to check them! Gave me advice on what needed to be done to ensure my SUV drives safely. Great group of people!

This place is amazing I had to take my daughter with me to get tires done. They replaced my tires and I wanted to get my brakes done but unfortunately silly Volkswagen has this thing on their calipers so they couldn't get it done but they gave me great information on how and where to go get it done. I am very pleased with their service and friendliness. If you need a local mechanic or auto work done I highly recommend these folks.Services: Tires, Brakes

Took my truck in to fix the waterline. They gave me a price of $750 then said later they needed to fix the heater coil so $80] more w/tax but charged me an extra $150 in the end. Few days later it broke down. Another place refused to work in it cause American tire put it back together wrong squeezing the water lines. They refused to tow it back at first then 2 weeks later finally did to fix their mistake. A few days after that I had to take it back for the 3rd time cause they still didnt put it back right.Then they purposely parked in a puddle of mud with my tail gate down. I'm assuming so I would get soaked when I went to shut it. There were plenty of open spots to park it without huge mud puddles. All in all the mechanisms have no clue what theyar doing and no one calls to update you. You have to keep calling to check. Something that should have took one day took 3 trips and 30 days of finding a ride. Very poor service!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

Service was good and fast. My only gripe was that whoever changed my tires took my custom valve caps and knowingly replaced them with standard black and gray caps they could ve at least matched them appropriately!
