Car broke down on highway. Norman was nice to get to my car today. I need it to get to work today, so I really appreciate how quickly he got to it

I needed my dually fixed quickly to repair the rear main crankshaft seal. John and his team got me in quickly, and suggested that my issue may be something less time consuming and less expensive that what others had told me. It turns out that they were correct, which saved me $400 in additional cost. Absolutely great service, a fair price for the work, and John kept me updated the entire time that my truck was at their shop. I highly recommend "All Auto Repair", they are now my regular shop and I plan to bring all of my vehicles here! Great job guys!

I am a contractor and my chevy work truck broke down, i had it towed to All Auto Repair they quicky diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair quote for a new gas pump and install - has busy as they are, they did the repair in a timely manner, so i was only off the road a whileHonest service !If you need a good shop in Nampa, check out these guysThanks - GuyService: Electrical repair

Norm was amazing above and beyond! I am so grateful. My car broke down on the highway and Norm answered the phone after hours on a Friday, said he could work on BMW and I could tow it to him that night. I wasn't able to get it to him til after 11PM and he still took a look and figured out it was the fuel pump. He then worked on his day off to get it fixed to get me back on the road. I was just passing through. My trip got delayed a day and it could have easily been 5. I will never forget the kindness and generosity of spirit that was shown to me. Called kirk yesterday cause my truck was leaking coolant. He had us bring in our truck on sat 10/4. He was able to get the problem diagnosed and fixed same day. I am so happy with how they did. They were professional and communicated with us the whole way. I will definitely be returning to this auto shop with future problems. My husband and I are so greatful for kirk and his guys. They exceeded our expectation. They were able to get the tuck back to us same day when we they knew that we down one truck. They did make sure that we knew they would there best to get it done today and they were able to. Thank you so much kirk and all your staff

Beyond what we expected. During a terrible experience (which a majority of the work was not completed after a month) having the vehicle at the dealer for repair. John and Norman stepped in to take over the rest of the job. The entire engine and parts were removed and stuck in a heap in the back if the car when it was delivered to them. They understood our budget, communicated with us regarding the progress. Super nice and knowledgeable, almost like talking to a buddy on a personal and upftont level. We had our car back within 1 week. It was even very nicely washed and cleaned inside and out. Thank you guys so much! We really really appreciate everything you did for us.

All Auto Repair fixed my myriad of car problems! I needed my radiator fixed, spark plugs replaced, and an emissions test.They fixed those and then called me when they ran into another problem, he told me what it would be to fix it and let me choose what I wanted to do. I decided to do it and they fixed it for a fraction of what the dealer was going to charge me. They called frequently with updates and gave me an accurate quote at the start of the service! We recommended this place to our son after using them several years ago. They saved us from a new wiring harness that the dealer said we needed when in fact ours was just loose. This time we dropped off the same vehicle after numerous attempts on getting the check engine light off. When dropped off we stated the new parts we'd already put on including all 8 ignition coils. They ran some tests and insisted that it was 2 of the coils. We still didn't feel that was right since they had all been changed out. They changed out the coils and then called with the "good and bad news". Bad being it wasn't the coils, good being we found out is the computer. We decided to pick up the car after receiving the quote on replacing the computer. We were were charged for the new coils they installed even after we told them we didn't think that was the problem. I understand paying for labor, but not 2 new parts that had just replaced two new parts. I guess it's just part of the diagnosis process. The folks we delt with were friendly.

Needed to update this because it s worse than I thought. DO NOT SPEND A DIME HERE. They replaced my radiator and charged me over $400 just to not fix the problem because they didn t actually fix my radiator. I had to get a new one from a different place they said it looked like the original one and wasn t repaired. This place will happily lie to you and take your money . When my car was overheating still they said I d have to pay more. Shame on this place ! 0 stars should be out of business

I was traveling to the West Coast and broke down in Nampa Idaho. I was stranded but Norman was a lifesaver. My transmission had gone out. Norman figured out the problem, stopped what he was working on, spent an hour tracking down a transmission and was able to get it shipped early in the midst of Covid. He then worked through a holiday weekend to get me back on the road. I've never had better service from a finer gentleman ever. in addition the price was very fair. Highly Recommended! John is your go-to guy on the phone and Norm is a magician! I've had mine and my daughter's car treated at this mechanical hospital, never dissatisfied with quality work or cost. Very reasonable and give prices up front. So hard to find a good auto shop that won't rip you off. I've been in Idaho 20 years and finally feel like I found the shade tree mechanic my husband was.

When my truck broke down I was terrified to find a shop and have to deal with the repairs and being out of a vehicle for the 1 to 2 weeks at the least I new it might take. When I arrived the staff was friendly and took steps that made me feel more comfortable with leaving my truck there. They took videos of the trucks condition and provided details on prices of the inspection to insure there were no surprises. I dropped my truck off the day before the scheduled appointment and they looked at it early and had it diagnosed that night!! They were able to get the part and the truck fixed the next day!! I wasn't even out of a vehicle for a full day. I would recommend All Auto Repair to anyone that needs to have a vehicle looked at.

I called them about 11.30 am after finding them on google search n read a few reviews. All were good with 5stars. My truck was broke down in Fred Meyers parking lot. Near gas pumps which i had just filled truck to the brim. Norm answered n calmed all my worries by assuring me a tow truck would come rescue me. Within 1 hour a truck did arrive and haul my truck to thier shop. It was my guess the fuel pump had went out. I assumed it would take days to fix it as thier shop was busy n full of other customers so i knew I'd be last. They did diagnostic n quickly emailed and called me to confirm it was fuel pump and also offered to fix it that day. I agreed n by 5pm Norm called to tell me it was done. Fast friendly and very professional workers they are. I will take all my auto needs to them from now on!!Service: Engine repair

I went in convinced I had a major brake issue. Told me over the phone to expect to pay $600+ if it was what I made it sound like. When I brought it in, turned out there wasn't a problem at all. They could have easily gone with it and done the service anyway but they were honest and upfront. I wouldn't have known the difference. They fixed a leak they discovered along the way and I ended up paying far less than I thought I'd have to. They set up a maintenance plan for my car with issues they noticed but that weren't super urgent. What I loved is that they didn't try to push the repairs on me while it was on the lift! I trust these guys 100%. Won't take my cars anywhere else.

My wife and I had a series of repairs performed by All Auto Repair a while back. We can personally vouche for their honesty, integrity, and quality of work. Everyone was so friendly, and John even provided free shuttle service to and from the shop while our car was being worked on. On top of really knowing their stuff, these guys are top notch people. We hope to never need repair work again, but if we do, we will for sure be taking our car to All Auto Repair. They have gained our ful trust and we would recommend them to all.

My wife's Ford edge over heated as we came Inyo town from Jerome..I was forced to stay the night at a hotel...woke up and started searching mechanics to get this fixed..my normal mechanic blew me off..so I call all auto and he was pretty helpful..I drove straight over and he took a look and said my entire fan went out..so he gave me the quote and got the stuff ordered...took all of maybe 2 hrs..but while I waited we had to leave the hotel room...so he went and got my wife and 2 kids and brought the. Back to the shop where we waited all of 20 minutes and the car was fixed and we were headed home...super nice guys and quick...can't say thank you enough...found my new mechanic..Service: Engine repair

High marks for honesty! We came in for a second opinion, after being told our car needed over $2400 in repairs by another shop. The other shop specifically told us we had a leaking water pump and oil pump.All Auto Repair completed a diagnostic and found 1 small problem. They confirmed the water pump and oil pump were *not* leaking as we had been told. They completed the small repair and the car has been working great ever since!! Job well done.We will definitely bring our cars here first next time!!! Nice to know we found a mechanic we can trust.

I can't begin to say enough positive things regarding this shop. Earlier this week, my family and I were stranded with a vehicle that wouldn't start. We ended up calling All Auto Repair and John not only arranged the tow to the shop, but he also came and picked us up and shuttled us and our groceries back home to Caldwell. Cars seats and all! The estimate that was given to us to replace our fuel pump was very fair, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. We had our vehicle back within 24 hours. We appreciate the service we received immensely, and would definitely recommend to anybody who is needing their vehicle serviced or repaired.

They did a master timing kit install on my 2007 Ford F150. My engine was close to catastrophic engine failure. The followers were worn and one had completely failed. The camshafts were scarred up and needed replaced. So they also installed new camshafts, roller followers and hydraulic lifters. They notced I had a lite duty radiator even though I have a factory tow kit installed on the truck. I had the replace the radiator too. I also had a Meling high pressure high volume oil pump put on. With all that said, the price was very reasonable way less than if I had suffered catastrophic engine failure. I definitely recommend All Auto Repair. Kirk and his Ford guy are amazing.

So nice to find people that are honest and fast. We came here last week to get our car worked on that broke down. They were very straight forward on the phone about the price to look at the vehicle. They diagnosed the problem in about 1.5 hours and called for our approval of work before they began. The car was ready the next day. We did not have a surprise bill and were not pressured to do work we did not need. I will be coming back here. An honest mechanic is hard to fine.

I just moved here from Nebraska and needed some work done on my car. I had a reliable mechanic back there, so I was apprehensive in trying to find someone just as reliable here. I took a chance with All Auto Repair. Not only was "Captain Kirk" easy to work with, but he did a great job on my car. They went the extra mile by even washing my car for me. Wow! Now that is impressive. 5 stars and a high recommend.

Our car was silent when we turned the key. We had it towed to s shop which could not find the problem. They said to go to a place that had a good electrical tech for a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. I went online and found AllAuto Repair in NAMPA on Barger had good reviews. I called and Kirk said they would tow our car and work on it Thursday. They called to confirm the problem and texted me when they started. They sent an estimate and I authorized the repairs. It was done by noon Friday. The invoice explained everything they found and repaired. The price was a lot less than I expected and they did the work efficiently and thoroughly. KIRK was very knowledgeable and showed me the damaged replaced part. I trust them and will use them again. I give them 5 stars.Service: Electrical repair

Word of mouth is a powerful thing. I had a friend who recently bought a used car (Nissan), and took it to this shop to have them access the work that needed to be done. They quoted him a price of $1500 which in turn would fix everything and take care of all the codes that were coming up during the diagnostic. 5 minutes after picking up the car, the engine light turns back on....My friend called asking why the engine light turned on, when they had assured them the issues were fixed. The owner then said to bring the car back, he looked at it and said there would be more repairs that needed to be done that were never talked about in pervious conversations. They said there would need to be another diagnostic done on the car, which would cost them another $110!My friend then went back and forth with the shop for several days, which ended in the shop manager becoming very hostile.Needless to say, in the end nothing was fixed that should have been, and my friends is now out $1500 and the car still doesn't run.

All Auto Repair is definitely worthy of a time star ratings. Very professional and helpful staff. They towed My car when it left me stranded on the side of the road in a matter of 20 minutes, they took it to their shop, let me know what was wrong with it and pricing then got it fixed for me in no time. They are fast and good at what they do. Can't say enough about this shop. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone they are affordable and have great customer service.

Bought a Ford fusion hybrid still new to these types of cars. We thought we had a problem with our transmission. Called ford and they wouldnt even guess without us paying 150 to look at it and they didnt have any Apts till end of July. Took our car here and they went fpr a test drive with us. Found out that it was just running different cause the a.c. was pulling more power. I can't say enough how great these guus are. Professional service and they are willing to help you as well. We will always bring our vehicles to these guys when something needs done. I will recommend these guys to anyone and everyone I know.

Highly recommend! They were fast, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. They not only fixed my car, but the outside and inside were cleaner then when I dropped it off, which was a nice surpise to find. Have already recommended them to a few friends because I'm that confident in their work and service.

Needed an emission test done and its the first place listed on the official emission testing card and 2 minutes from my work. I m a mechanic myself and called a few times earlier in the day and had to leave early from work. Place never answered but showed open and emission testing until 5 so I show up and place is deserted and cars covered in dirt like they had been sitting awhile and no one around and then I see him pop out of nowhere. Ear buds in his ear turns around and had just kinda a blank stare. I asked if he had time to do an emission and he says nah the machine is giving me issues. I ask if he knows anyone near by and he nods his head no and thats all he says. Not one bit of customer service in any way. If your grumpy dude don't act grumpy to customers. Went to tims auto repair just down the street instead. Great service and customer service. In and out in 5 minutes and acted happy to see me.

Horrible Service and way over priced. I'm perfectly capable of doing my own mechanic work but didn't have the time so I trusted these guys to run a smoke test (specifically requested) and all they did was scan my car and replace the gas cap (which I told them I had already done). Talking to the new manager (because John is no longer with the company) he accused me of harassing him because I was upset that all he could offer was a "discount" on more services. Why would I pay for MORE services if they didn't even do what I initially asked for? Never coming back. Read other reviews while you can because they have been deleting the negative ones to boost their ratings. I am far from the only one.

*UPDATED REVIEW ONE YEAR LATER* If I could give negative stars, I would! I had initially given them one star and they basically begged me to change it to 3 stars, so I did. They offer people who follow them on social media, free movie tickets for high reviews. DO NOT TRUST THEIR REVIEWS! We had gone in and after days of "diagnostics", they "fixed" our van's A/C that was causing our battery to die. They had our car for several days and we got it back for 2 days and it died again for the same reason. They came up with excuses of why this would have happened and fixed that second reason (which was really the first reason) for "free". This was after we had already paid them $1400 in the first place. So why am I here reviewing again a year later? Because I moved away and the A/C just went out in the same car. Strange since I just had it fixed a year ago, right? Well, the new mechanic looked at it and said "did you fix this by yourself before to save money?" And I told him that we had paid a good chunk of change for it a year ago. He shook his head and said, "They put in a $20 part in your car. It is known to only last about a year." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I paid this mechanic $700 to fix it (he showed me his receipt and he had paid $400 for our new part.) and now I finally have a car A/C unit that will last longer than a year! If I could put signs all over this establishment to tell people to run far away, I would. Save your money and go to someone who is honest and will actually fix your car, without robbing you. This place is a joke!Unfortunately it was kind of a perfect storm of our car having troubles that were difficult to figure out and being swamped with other customers. Our car took longer than we had hoped, but All Auto really did what they could to make it up to us. They do care about their customers and want to make them happy. I appreciate that they were willing to make up for the "perfect storm" that we experienced.

Replaced the motor in our 2013 ford escape. Did a great job and price was fair. John and norm are good people. They continue to service our car with great workmanship and even hooked us up with some swag. Thanks guys!
