Just after dropping my baby off at college, and getting ready to head back to Boise, I found myself with a car problem.I nervously came to Moscow Auto Repair and the mechanics were so helpful.Unfortunately, they weren t able to complete any repairs for me because it was a computer programming problem and they directed me to the Chrysler dealership, but their customer service was top notch!They spent about twenty minutes running diagnostics and sent me on my way without charging me a dime.As a single woman, these situations can be intimidating, but Moscow Auto Repair was kind and generous.

I wanted to leave a review for Liam I think his name was. A few weeks ago I brought my red 2007 Pacifica touring in because it was stalling at red lights and losing electric in the dash. I asked if he could check the altinator as I was sure that was the problem. He was so kind. He came out, tested both my altinator and my battery and found both were fine. He speculated that the loose connections on my battery were the issues and he'd tighten them for me, which he did. It took him less than 7 minutes to diagnose this possible issue.....10/10 that guy fixed my problem. I know it may not se like much but as most people we live paycheck to paycheck and I have anxiety around car issues. He's helped me before with little things but this.... This was a miracle. I guess I just want to say thank you Moscow auto and Liam (again I'm pretty sure that's his name). You have been one of the best mechanic shops I've ever done business with. Truly a good shop with wonderfully helpful people. Thank you again Liam for fixing the issue I was sure was going to cost me a months mortgage to fix. You did it quick and easy. And I have not had an issue since.

I took my car in beginning of October as it was squeaking whenever I would turn left. They told me it was my rear brakes, but to keep driving on them and really use the rest of the brake pad. I took it in end of October to get the rear brakes replaced and was told it would be done that afternoon. They kept my car for four days and I almost had to call into work, as I work in Lewiston. The squeak was still happening and they wanted me to give them my car for a week, which just doesn t work for me. Flash forward to now, my dad looked at my car since I m home on break, and my front brakes are wearing on the wear plate. He was able to order in brakes same day and get them fixed for less than $100, they charged me almost $400. Not to mention, they didn t put the cap on my brake fluid reservoir. Would never bring my business here. Called yesterday to speak to someone about the cap to my brake fluid and was told they would call me back, they never did.

Took in my gf's car to figure out a issue with the car starting. I told them starter probably needs to be replaced. But they stated after a couple days it was fine. 2 days later after being charged $400 for nothing, car broke down again and wouldn't start. Terrible visit and won't be coming back. Took it to erber auto and what a surprise, starter wasn't good!

This place is great! Ran into some alternator issues in December, so I had a tow and an alternator replacement. They were booked out a couple weeks, but it was well worth the wait! Had to run by again recently (license plate screws were stuck), and they were able to replace the screws and inflate my front tires quickly and at no charge! The people are kind and know their stuff, and the prices are very reasonable, too. I'll definitely be back!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Their work is a good value like other local shops, they have quite a backlog of work, so at least for the non-urgent work on my older Audi, it took some weeks to get an appointment and then a couple of weeks to get the parts in and get it done. But it was a very reasonable price for the brakes and cooling system issues they found and fixed. I m still going to have to take it to an import shop for some of the Audi-specific work that they don t do, but it s in 90% better shape than it was!

I always recommend Moscow Auto to anybody I get the chance to. They have provided me with outstanding service, time and time again.Not only car service, but their customer service is a huge part of what keeps me coming back. If you express interest in knowing what the issue is or what needs to be done, they are always happy to talk you through it. I've never experienced anything but kindness from everyone there.They also have the lowest prices I've ever seen in the Moscow/Pullman area. But that's not to say their work is of low quality, by far. They don't cut corners, and always get the job done right.I always feel like their top priority is to get my car running at its best, even if it takes them a little extra work. If you call and they're booked out a while, that's probably why. But if you can wait for them to get you in, it will definitely be worth waiting for.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Electrical, Engine repair, Air conditioning

I would love the option to give zero stars. This place sucks as in customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save you're time and money and go elsewhere. Dreadful.

I needed a trip check on my 2013 Subaru. The service was prompt and affordable. Lane and the others were friendly and respectful. They finished the job in less than 30 minutes. I really can t say enough good things about this place. I ve had a lot of frustrating experiences in the Lewiston area where I was quoted hundreds of dollars to fix the brackets on my front bumper. These guys went out of their way to schedule me in their last week of auto body repair while switching owners, fixed the issue quickly, the results looks great, and they charged me $50.I know that Moscow Auto will no longer be doing auto body and is now under new ownership but if business is conducted anything like it was under the previous people, take all your business here.Service: Auto body & trim repair

Traveling through Moscow and experienced car problems. Stopped in without any appointment. Dan was so great, he grabbed his coat and came out in the rain to offer assistance. He put fluids in the vehicle without charge, and while they couldn t do our repairs due to timing, they were no less concerned with trying to help with other recommendations to help us on our way. Super friendly and caring.

I had another oil change place tell me my front disc brakes were in need of replacement. I took my vehicle into Moscow Auto Service for the repair. Instead, they informed me that my brakes were fine and simply cleaned them up saving me many dollars. I trust these people and highly recommend them.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Thank you for never bringing glass to hot springs! Mild to minimal Sulphur smell. $7/person for 2hrs, self pay with cash (said they accept card but I didn't see a card machine.) No overnight parking allowed. 4 pools, bit busier than I would have liked, but great temperatures. No pets.

I actually have not gone in for the service yet but just form talking on the phone with them I feel compelled to leave a review. I was in an accident back in July and when I received my car back from a different mechanic there were still clear issues and no one was taking it seriously, essentially telling me I would need to pay for diagnostic/etc. out of pocket for their mistake. I was finally refereed here and after all of two minutes on the phone the gentlemen I was speaking to was taking everything I was saying as a serious issue and went out of his way to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. I ll come back and update this once I ve gotten my car back from the shop but, so far, I highly recommend Moscow Auto

They provided excellent and efficient service and priced justly. The guys working there are nice and friendly. My friend's vehicle does not drive and they even arrange a tow from our residence to the shop, and the tow fee is modest (which I can claim from the insurance company later). Booking in advance is needed, so you can infer how popular this shop is. From my experience, I would say that this is one of the most competitive shops in the Pullman-Moscow area, which I definitely recommend.

My wife and I were visiting our son in Moscow, Idaho as part of a 2 week vacation. We were pulling our RV and staying at the Fairgrounds. The day before we were to depart, our radiator started leaking. We were directed by a couple locals to go to Moscow Auto Services. The locals think highly of their work and their good reputation preceded them. We took our truck their mid afternoon on Tuesday. They were busy but stopped to evaluate our problem. They ordered up the necessary parts and said the parts would be there first thing next morning. We had our truck there by 7am the next morning and they had us back on the road by 10:30am!! We were amazed and grateful for a job well done!! Thank You. We highly recommend Moscow Auto Services. They are excellent mechanics and their customer service is fantastic!

My most recent experience was not good. I squeezed in an appointment while packing for a move. There's a lot of boxes in my truck, and apparently the mechanic needed to move the seat a few inches because they tipped and pushed my personal things out of the way, and also crushed a box behind the seat. Absolutely no need to do this, with complete disregard to my property. The woman I spoke to about this was patronizing and rude.COVID-19 update: nobody at this business wears masks or observes sanitation guidelines. I did not feel safe inside the small office with no ventilation. My credit cards were handled by other people, I used a dirty pen to sign, and felt compelled to wipe down every surface in my truck after leaving.This is all really unfortunate, because the mechanics do great work and pricing here is fair. We've brought our vehicles here for 30 years, but I will not be returning to Moscow Auto Service.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

My little brothers 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis suspension completely collapsed while driving down the road onto his left front wheel. Owner Dan @ Moscow Auto picked it up with a tow, replaced both sides ball joints , and new alignment done in less than 24 hours returned to my brother so he can make it to work the next day. All of this was done with me calling asking for help while I am in Boise, and over the phone asking for their services. Utterly amazing service, and value. Couldn't have asked for a better transaction.Thank you ever so much for saving my brothers rear end!

My daughter attends U of I and her car broke down on a Saturday night. Moscow Auto services was quick to meet her and tow her car back to their shop. Their team then diagnosed the problem on Monday (alternator) and had her car back on the road by Wednesday. We are sometimes skeptical about new mechanics that we are not familiar with; however, I am pleased to share that Moscow Auto Services is an excellent resource in Moscow. While we never want our cars to breakdown, it is nice to know that there is a respectable and reliable mechanic in Moscow!

Bruce and his whole staff were super friendly. We took our Rav 4 in with a broken window and were expecting to spend about $200 to get it fixed. When I called he made sure to have an accurate estimate for a couple of the problems it could have been. He said their diagnostic fee was $27 and to bring it on over. He said if we could figure it out today and if it needed new parts they could be overnighted from Portland. We dropped it off and Bruce called later saying a bolt had come loose and he just screwed it back in, and he would only charge me the $27 diagnostic fee. What a great, honest business! We'll definitely be going back there. We even tried to tip them we were so happy, and they said don't worry about it. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Moscow Auto Service, primarily for body work and paint, almost exclusively for 5 years now. Bruce is wonderful to work with, as he is very knowledgeable, professional, and straightforward. I have never had a bad experience with the shop, and my cars have always come out looking great. One of my cars was recently involved in a hit and run, which was unfortunate because I had a car show I was supposed to be involved with yesterday (March 2nd). Fortunately, after dropping it off with Bruce on Tuesday (February 26th), I picked up the car fully repaired, and cleaned inside and out, the afternoon of Friday (March 1st), just in time to prep the car for the show. This was particularly incredible because the body shop is always, seemingly, booked solid for weeks. Bruce really saved me this last week, and I couldn't be more appreciative. Until I leave Moscow, I refuse to go to another body shop. I can't believe it took me this long to post a positive review, either. This one is long overdue.

Our 2007 Subaru was having some issues starting- we had the battery tested, cleaned the terminals, and replaced one battery cable ourselves. The car died once again so we tried giving Moscow Auto another chance (after a bad experience a few years ago). We told him what had been happening, and that it may be the starter, possible fuel pump, or otherwise. They came and towed it, we got a call a few days later that the car was starting just fine and he had no issues. He "messed with" the other cable and told us it was ready to come pick up. We drove to Spokane for some errands, and sure enough our starter went out in a shopping center parking lot. We are now dealing with a tow truck, trying to find a mechanic here, and had to stay overnight. Moscow Auto chose to tow us from our home on a Sunday, which we told him we could wait until a weekday- the tow alone cost $125 for a 1.3 mile trip. He charged us $25 to wiggle the cables, and here we are dealing with the issue we told him was the problem in the first place. In a foreign city. With a second tow bill. With a hotel stay. And having to make a second trip back up to pick up the car when it's fixed because we now have to find a way back to Moscow. Good times, Moscow Auto. Good, expensive times.

I was engine problems on a Sunday evening coming back from fishing up by St. Maries. My son recommended these guys, having had his car in there a couple of times before. Saw that this shop was open at 7:00 am on a Monday, so I showed up early at 6:45 am, but not early enough! The shop was already open! I walked in and immediately Dan (one of the Owners) came up to the counter to assist me. I described the problem, he drew a theory, grabbed his equipment and we went for a ride up the highway. He immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue himself once we got back to the shop. It took all of fifteen minutes and I was on my way. I was able to get back on the road to Seattle before most shops even open for the day. He was great! Highly recommend these guys..

Dan and Bruce have both gone above and beyond. When I drop my car off for any kind of service, Bruce has always given me a ride to work and brought my car back to me. The shop is quick and the staff is honest. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to take my vehicles to them.

Moscow Auto Services - five starsThis is the only place I trust to work on my car in the area because they do a good job the first time. They are good at fixing dents, replacing lights, and finishing the job as well as leaving the work area cleaner than when they started. This is very important as other auto services are slimy, untrustworthy, uncouth, lying, destructive, and a thousand other words to describe how messed up they are and what they do to your car is unbelievable. So good job to Moscow Auto Services for not being completely corrupt like everywhere else. The staff is nice and honest. They are quick and professional at what they do. As long as they stay honest like they always have I will definitely recommend them to everyone.
