Worth the money. If you are having an electronic problem with your car or truck, they have the experience and knowledge to get you back on the road.Spent may months trying to diagnose a problem on my own, they solved it in 3 hours.

Came to them for a check engine light that was quoted from another local shop. First shop fixed a coolant leak and allegedly checked out the check engine light and quoted an addition 1-2k to fix, plus I'd be out at least 3 additional days without a car while they ordered a part.Took it in here for a second opinion, picked it back up within a few hours and paid for just an hour of labor for an easy fix. I will gladly take my car back here (should it be needed) in the future without hesitation.

Great work at a good price. They took the time to follow up with me regarding my last repair there and made a quick adjustment at no cost and no appointment.They're my go to shop on the Palouse for both of my Toyotas.

These guys are the best! They have a ton of experience which generally enables them to diagnose quickly and accurately. They've figured out things for us that others couldn't. Also, if they're not up to the task, they say so. If they miss something, they make it right. They've even chosen not to charge me if they referred me elsewhere or if the fix was tiny. Every bill we've paid has been extremely reasonable.

Worked with Bob & he was very helpful! Had some electrical issues w/my daughters vehicle & spoke to him on the phone. He was honest & took care of my daughters vehicle w/o overcharging & spent 2 days finding the problem & communicating with me the whole time. Great guy & great service. Went to website looking for sulfur dioxide.. They don't seem to carry much stock unless your on hospice so naturally there was no sulfur dioxide. Ready some reviews most seemed to be posted by satisfied folks.

Positive experiences, they have been able to debug complicated issues with sensors in my vehicles and get things fixed. They are usually busy, so not easy to get in, but worth it.

Absolutely amazing customer service! For a reasonable price they diagnosed and fixed my HVAC controls in my older car. They do good work for a good price. Anything normal or routine, these are your guys.One thing to keep in mind before you go through the hassle of taking your vehicle in - they are not "specialists" like say a doctor can be. If you have a rare/strange/complex disease you go see a specialist M.D. for treatment. Electrical Specialists don't want to deal with rare/strange/difficult vehicles or after-market setups. So don't think that this is the place to go if your usual mechanic couldn't solve the issue you're having with your tuner. E.S. probably could fix it, but you'll get told to beat it because it's not nearly as cost effective as those lucrative simple, fast, & routine issues that they deal with every day and can fix in their sleep and are booked for weeks over.Thus if you drive a standard vehicle, very few to no modifications, and nothing super-crazy is happening like electricity arcing across your windshield, they will do a stellar job here. If it falls into the "weird or wacky" category, you'll be told to go somewhere else like Erber Auto - so don't waste your time going in. They aren't that type of "specialist".Service: Electrical

I had an amazing experience with this company. Long story short: my car got broken in to where my radio was stolen and wires were cut that completely screwed up my cars electrical system. I was able to bring it in to them and they were able to identify the issues, and help get my car back to 100%. I can t thank them enough. Would highly recommend them!

Come here first!! Took my car to a different auto service in Moscow first for some transmission issues and they wanted to charge me a crazy amount to change a speed sensor and then if that didn t fix it they just wanted to replace the whole transmission. Brought it to the Electrical Specialists and they figured out a rodent had chewed through the speed sensor wiring. A butt connector and labor later and my car is running great!Service: Transmission

i totally agree with a former review: "The best way to describe this business is Honest, Skilled and Professional". They were my mechanics for 8 years until I left Moscow. Reasonable price, honest, very reliable work. They are also very patient to discuss the problems and help me make knowledgeable decisions. These guys are awesome!!! I had a vehicle brake down on my way through the area and they were able to diagnose the problem and then went above and beyond (with a very busy schedule) to repair it the next morning. They even came in Saturday morning to finish up. I can't thank them enough. If you want great service, good value and honesty....this is the place. Thanks Bob and Mike!!!Service: Engine repair

The most knowledgeable in vehicle/trailer electrical in the northwest. Kinda pricey, you can see for yourself and determine if your project is worth it. Also, it s sometimes a couple weeks out for an appointment so if you re in a hurry, or need same day service you ll need do make different arrangements. JDS

I went here because of the great google reviews. I spent a lot of money for them to replace a heater core. One of the owners did the work and cracked my dashboard, covered up the day running lamp sensor and then left all of the debris from the job on the passenger floor. He said he was sorry that his shop vac would not reach that far and had oil over it. So he just left the mess. He fixed the lamp sensor issue but it required 2 trips back and you would hope for better service for spending so much money.

Best place to get your vehicle looked at. Honest guys when I was looking at purchasing a new to me vehicle that was used. They saved me from getting into something that would of eventually cost me more than the car was worth! For that I will forever be grateful!!! Had my ac broken on another vehicle they were able to diagnose what was wrong with it and get it fixed in a timely matter. Very happy with them and will continue to do business with them in the future.

Many years ago, I took my car to this shop. While they fixed the immediate issue, a new irreparable issue emerged as I drove off the lot. My immediate reaction was that this was something this shop had caused. In retrospect - and all likelihood - that was probably not the case. I will see them for a different repair shortly and revise my review accordingly.

Always take my vehicles here, truly amazing people that really care and don't want to simply take your money. Last time I took my car, they informed me that my car had a recall for this part, and instead of taking $500 from me, the sent me to the Chevy dealer where the work was done for free! Can't recommend this place enough!

My car rig was repeatedly shuddering when accelerating uphill and showing a code for crank and cam shaft position sensors. After having them replaced elsewhere to no avail, an Electrical Specialist tech found scratches on the sensor. He then spent the day doing research and found an obscure forum report of fixing it with a custom spacer. He fabricated a custom spacer and it hasn t had that problem since.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

I found out today what they told me was wrong wasn't even the issue. They told me to replace the whole blower motor. It was just a broken wire. I think an "electrical specialist" should have been able to diagnose a broken wire correctly. I guess they just wanted me to do the most expensive fix possible. So I paid them $50 for false information. 1 star is too many.Charged $50 just to tell me what was wrong and then quote labor costs twice as high as everywhere else in town.I wish they would have told me upfront they didn't do free estimates. Should have known not to even try with them since the last car we took there (Toyota Celica) they supposedly put in a starter and relay but they never fixed the issue. 0/10 would not recommend.

John at Electrical Specialists is wonderful! My car was being sassy and difficult and he was able to figure out the problem and get it fixed. He tried several different things and didn't charge me until it was fixed. I suspect other mechanics might have had me pay for new part after new part until we found what worked. John would put a replacement in and if my car still acted up, I'd swing back and and he'd change it back and try something new. So glad to have found such a great mechanic and would recommend them to anyone!

I have used them several times over the years, and found that I can leave my car there, tell them what's wrong with it, and know they will act in my best interest. Professional, honest, and good pricing. Trustworthy.

This shop has been easy to work with. They have been willing to diagnose issues then let me fix the problem myself when I felt comfortable with the repair and have done repairs start to finish in a timely manner and for fair labor costs. I recommend them to anyone in need of a good mechanic.
