The chicken fried steak was one of the best I've ever had. The food was hot and fresh everything was clean and the people were fantastic. The store is a great place to go look around and they have some unique things.A great place to stop!

The best truck stop!!! Lots of space! Delicious food, great service! Here you can wait out closed roads in winter without any problems

I had Paige as a waitress & she was wonderful! I met her in town and she mentioned this was just up the road and delicious so I HAD to go. This place is pretty affordable and they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner ALL day. It's attached to a gas station but it's a full restaurant. There is also a bar lounge but it was closed when I went.It's a little dingy sure, but the food, the food is so delicious. I got the cowgirl omelet with pancakes and I added a scone.I can't wait to go back! 9/10

Very friendly, country atmosphere.Good staff. Loved the look of the cafe.*Was a little odd to carry receipt from cafe to the gas station part to pay. Wonder if they've lost money with untrustworthy people just walking out without paying.

Great place to stop! I got there on a Sunday and had to wait till Monday to get unloaded! I had a delicious, warm meal in the restaurant, which was perfect for the -0 weather! Parking lot was clean and cleared of snow! It is a good place to stop in when going through the small town of Montpellier!

Definitely worth the stop! Prime dinner was delicious and not highly priced for prime rib. Waitstaff was fast and friendly! Kudos team!

Being from Texas and anyone who knows me, I take great pride in my steaks and anyone who can cook a great steak. With that being said, I must say I have now found the best prime rib steak I have ever had. Trust me, that is saying A LOT!! Clean environment, clean restrooms, clean showers. Has a very friendly and down home southern feel. You truly feel at home here.To my fellow drivers, there is plenty and I mean plenty of parking available here. Get parked, get showered, and get fed with very reasonable priced homemade southern style food.If I can ever make it back here, I WILL definitely stop here again, no doubt about it!Update!!!!!!!Well, here I am again roughly 2 years later and I never forgotten about this place. For most part, it's exactly the same. Great people with great food! I got in last night and again had the prime rib. Sooooo damn good!! I woke up and had breakfast. Was a wonderful breakfast of french toast, eggs, and bacon. Then, for lunch, there was a buffet because it was/is Father's Day. Absolutely amazing!! Dinner time, had the ribeye steak and I still agree with my statements from 2 years ago. This Texan is proud and full. Lol. I've told everyone I know of this place and I will continue to do so. I'm treated like family and this feels like home. Thank you to all the wait staff, cooks, clean up crew, and those that work in the store. Without you all, I'd be hungry and miserable. Thank you all for doing such an excellent job and giving me such wonderful experiences and memories.Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the meals. I was hungry every meal time and the food smells way too good to try to stop and take pictures. Lol catch you on the next round!!

So twice I went in there to eat.The blonde girl behind the counter seemed more interested in help in the locals.Then she did the truck driver that was in there.I waited patiently.Finally, she never came back so I just left that's twice.I've been in there and I will never go back

This is still one of the great classic mom and pop truck stops. They're currently not 24 hours anymore more but there's lots of parking. A great drivers lounge upstairs and the restaurant is excellent! The store is always we'll stocked. They have beer in the store and restaurant. Free parking and decent priced fuel.

This is a place we come back to year after year. Although the service was really slow this visit, food was the same as always. Just good old fashioned breakfast food. Wont knock your socks off but won t disappoint either. Make sure to try their lunch sandwiches (Reuben, patty melt etc) along with their breakfast food.

We decided to stop here for dinner and had the unlimited soup bar. They had clam chowder and pork noodle soup for their choices. Delicious! A lot of clams in the chowder. Our server was fantastic. We decided to go back the next night. I had the patty melt with fries and my husband had the French dip with onion rings. Again, the food was delicious. The portions are large. Our server the second night was great as well. I wish I had taken pics the second night. You won't be disappointed with anything you choose.

Our first time here. Dinner was good. We had the protein platter with hamburger steak, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Service from Alana was excellent.

We drive up here from Utah for a great meal! Any reviews complaining about the wait is what every business is going through, we didn't mind waiting because there was a giant sign saying it may take 45 minutes to an hour for food.Pancakes and omelets are the best!!

I really do love this place, however the quality of the food it hit or miss. For the prices you pay you expect a bit more effort to be put into the food. I ordered Malibu Chicken and got a grilled piece of chicken with no breading, a piece of lunchmeat quality ham, and some processed white cheese that wasn't melted all the way. There was also no mustard sauce with it. It was rather distasteful and gross. I was rather disappointed in the meal.

Really impressed with this old school truck stop! Paved parking, very quiet road at night, all the amenities a driver needs.On site Cafe is great. Large menu, great prices and definitely homestyle comfort food.On site bar is open in the evenings.Thanks for the great meals and for being located in an otherwise desolate area for truckers.

I love the food!!! It was homemade and fresh.Everyone was friendly and attentive.The place was clean and a lot of things to buy.As a truck driver I will be back and recommend it to anyone. You really feel special here

Always have a seat available. Delicious meals all day long. You won't leave hungry. Portions are huge and great cost. Worth the drive, or worth the stop along your way. Friendly service. Great souvenir shop.

Been stopping here for years, but its getting worse each time I visit, I know it's a small community here, but where the heck are they finding there Waitress? Half of them are getting dumber by the minute, I ordered my usual breakfast,1 large pancake 2 eggs side of hash browns with 2 eggs and a side of ham,ate my entire meal but the ham, ham had a really bad taste to it so I tell her it didn't taste right, she says "hmm noone else has said anything about their ham" then asked me if I want a to go box to take it with me, im like jaw dropped and staring at her like what? It taste bad, now why would I want to take it with me? Then I was charged for it. I'm like wow ok ill pay for it, but probably just pass by here for now on without stopping.

The food in the restaurant is amazing, and they know how to do Hasbrouck right! The gifts are unique in the shop and I could find what I wanted pretty easy. Definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: You can certainly ask about veggie options, and they will accommodate one's needs.Dietary restrictions: All you need to do is ask, or let them know what can or cannot be eaten and they will do their best to accomodate!Parking: Good parking, but when it gets full, it gets full!Kid-friendliness: Bring the whole family! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there are ramps and east wheel chair access

If you ever find yourself in the middle of nowhere Idaho, do yourself a favor and stop for breakfast at the Ranch Hand.You ll find yourself in the company of the loudest most annoying and raucous group of people in the whole state, unless me and my kids aren t there. If that s the case, you ll be stuck with just friendly locals and the occasional truck driver stopping by on their way through on a long haul.The food is good, and portions are huge! If you re in the market to gain 5 pounds this is a great place to begin that journey!

The sign out front said seat yourselves but when we tried we were told we had to wait for a different table. We were a group of ten and there were two tables right next to each other that would be perfect. The waitress refused to let us sit and told us to go outside to wait. She was beyond rude and snippy. There were 5 open tables but they she obviously did not want to deal with a group bigger 6. I understand it was busy but they need to train their servers to have better manners and not be so rude!

This is the best place in town to eat. Great food, at an affordable price. Whenever I m even remotely close, I drive out here to get some food. The smokehouse burger with steak cut fries never disappoints.

Not only is this a great place to stop and fuel up but to eat too. They also have a truckers lounge. Showers for guests are 10.00 and includes two towels. There store has a lot of everything one might need in an emergency. Stop by and have a great home cooked meal!

The food was good! The fries were crunchy, and the burger was good. We had mushrooms in both of our meals, and unfortunately, they were not the fresh variety (canned). Service friendly and fast. Plenty of parking.

Really delicious pancakes and sausage. The pancakes were HUGE. I couldn't finish both of them. The eggs were bland and the hash browns were good but not crispy enough for my taste. Really fast friendly service, not too busy on a Saturday morning. And I really appreciated the kid friendly attributes: 1. Box of crayons and a menu with fun stuff to color. 2. The Mickey Mouse pancake, shown in the picture below.
