This was my first experience with Meridian Automotive, I was extremely impressed.They did what I asked them to do (alignment) without trying to sell me more services etc. The office staff was polite and friendly. I will have no issues in the future taking my vehicle here from Nampa.I've been through both of the "best ones" in Nampa and compared to meridian automotive they just took my money and didn't align my vehicle.Service: Wheel alignment

People were nice. I had them replace the calibers and rotors and the assembly on my 2018 Toyota Hylander after putting my winter tires on two months later. I noticed the lug nuts were loose, all the way around could twist a lug nut with my finger, like they didn't use a torque wrench to vehicle specs "76 pounds". They were the last ones to touch the wheels. I could have had a bad accident on the freeway because of this. I would double-check their work if you have a torque wrench. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I'm just looking out for others.

Friendly and helpful staff! Our 1st time there and they were thorough in their work and kindly showed me what service they performed on our vehicle that we had to have towed there. Brian was great in staying in communication with us throughout the time our vehicle was getting repaired and immediate access through texts of work needed and performed by accepting or declining service or services. When picked up our vehicle, they were super friendly and establishment very clean. So far I give them a 10!

I am a mechanical engineer, and I require perfection for my wife s car services. Lexus wants roughly $1000 just to do a 30,000 mile oil change service. Meridian did this plus a complete inspection of her car to make sure it was absolutely safe; and they did it for roughly 1/3 The price of Lexus or Toyota dealerships. An honest professional service facility is the best find I ve made so far in Idaho. Meridian automotive repair, thank you. I know that my wife is safe when she s driving

Recently took my Ford truck in due to a check engine light that had been on for a few days and it started to run rough. Nick & the team there were able to figure out the issue and give me a quote within the same day of my appointment.It was a bummer that my turbo's were the cause but I had a suspicion going into this and had already called around for a few quotes. Meridian Automotive was right in the middle of those quotes but their attention to detail impressed me as well as the outstanding warranty, just like a new car!Nick kept up communication daily as they were working through my project via text message which I really appreciated, not having to guess how my truck was coming along helped substantially. They even called me up and asked if I was available to come down and see the vehicle repair in process after they noticed some stripped bolts from a previous owners attempted repairs.They stayed within their expected budget except for the extra bolts but that's totally understandable. The technicians I spoke with, Gary & Tyler I believe were also super great and helped me understand a little bit more about my truck then I did.Thank you Meridian Automotive! I'll certainly be back.

I was referred to Meridian Automotive from another mechanic shop. The first thing they did was a thorough inspection and evaluation for a reasonable price. Unlike the Dealership, they gave me a precise diagnosis of the problem, and were prepared to do repairs on the actual problem. The dealership didn't diagnose the problem, and just recommended a new engine. Unfortunately the diagnosed problem required a complete engine rebuild.Hanna, my service advisor was very helpful and explained the whole process up front. I was given a price up front, and a time frame for repairs. Throughout the repair, Hanna kept me updated on the progress, and also advised me of any additional repairs or costs involved. They even took photos, and showed me old and new parts going in. There was GREAT COMMUNICATION and excellent customer service throughout the whole process. My mechanic Gary did an excellent job, and he had all the tools and facilities at his disposal to do the entire engine rebuild in shop. All the tooling and block and head resurfacing and machining was done in house, not sent out to a third party. I was very impressed with the facilities and capabilities of Meridian Automotive.Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the skills of the ASE Certified Mechanics, and the professional interaction with the font office staff. It is extremely difficult to find an honest, fair, and trustworthy mechanic these days. I have found that at Meridian Automotive. I will definitely be back for all of my Mechanic needs! I'm going to start off by saying that the guys at Meridian Auto are very professional and provide a very good service.BUT their prices are borderline criminal. I used to be a die hard customer of MA and have had many vehicles worked on by them, but in recent years the prices have increased steadily and have gotten to the point where they aren't competitive compared to other mechanics.Most recently, my girlfriends Ford Escape needed major maintenence (engine and transmission replacement). We expected it to be expensive, but the quote we received was ~17k with a 3 year, 36k mile warranty.Given the price of the quote, I shopped around town for something more reasonable and got multiple quotes that came in far below 17k. The one we ended up settling on was from a mechanic in town that offered to replace the engine and transmission with brand new Ford factory parts, with a 3 year unlimited milage warranty, AND a loaner car free of charge for a total price of ~13k.I don't understand how MA can justify their service to be so expensive (~4k more) when other mechanics can offer the same service with a better warranty and even a loaner car.To sum things up, MA is going to fix your car well, but be prepared to pay above market value for their services.

Had an insurance claim through Caliber Collision that Meridian Auto handled the mechanism engine work on. This led to mis-diagnosing the car twice, bringing the car back twice over the course of 45 days and not a great experience. The car was eventually fixed and functional but the hassle of dropping a car off 3x, rental cars, re-assessment, and re-opening insurance claims was inconvenient. The vehicle wasn't thoroughly tested before returning to us and it became obvious problems still existed when we drove it each time.

First off, the only reason why I am giving two stars is because the guy who helped me was nice. I write this review with the understanding that my car is no longer in production and some parts are hard to come by for my ford. And I know little about cars. But what really grinds my gears is getting cheated and swindled out of money and having my car sent back to me with the assurance that everything they replaced was good and new. I trusted them.This shop is way overpriced and they sent my car back with a broken part I had paid for, where they assured me they would replace because it was their fault it broken again. They charged me $150-$160 for the FIRST diagnostic, they thought they sorted out the problem costing me over two grand. Then when the same problem kept happening, they called saying they would replace the same cylinder #3 that was damaged during the test drive and having all the issues. Then they charged me yet another $150 to run the same diagnostic that should have caught the problem in the first place. Luckily, we were able to get that extra charge dropped. Though, I am more ticked off than a baptized cat they sent my car back with the broken cylinder WHICH I PAID FOR, and they told me they would replace at no extra charge. It was interesting to open my hood and see the power plug was not attached to the top of the cylinder, I thought maybe they did that so the problem would not repeat itself till I figure out what to do and not damage the same cylinder again. NOPE. Pulled it out and it was all melted and damaged. I looked at my receipt seeing they did indeed charge me for it but never replaced it like they promised.Then they 'suggested' another problem that could be making my cylinder explode. Some PCM computer thingy. Now, I know this part was hard to come by, given how Ford no longer makes it, my Dad found a place to send it that cost around $300 dollars to get reprogramed. This shop wanted to charge me almost another two grand for part that would take ten minutes to change.I will not be returning to this place and not recommending them to anyone because it makes me wonder what other half a** work they could have done to other people. I trusted the reviews on this shop but was highly disappointed.Service: Engine repair

Meridian Automotive is amazing to work with! I requested an appt online they reached out to me that same day! I was able to get my car in the following day! They did a complete inspection and provided a report of all diagnostics on my vehicle. They mentioned an item to think about changing but did not pressure me to do it and made it clear that it s not something that had to be done right away. I picked up my vehicle the same time they said it would be ready! They were all very professional and great to work with AND to top it all off I walked away with the inspection report (that included pictures) and they followed up with me about 5 days after they completed the work to make sure my brakes were in good shape. Top notch quality work from Meridian Automotive!

My car wouldn't start so I took it in for service. They repaired it, tested it and said they checked every system in the car now. Next day the car won't start again. I will update this review depending on their service now.

My driver side window stopped working so I took it in to get fixed. They charged me 163.04 just to look at it and said it would only cost minor labor to install a new switch. After I paid they told me it would be 571 to fix. I called and asked why this simple repair would be so expensive and Brian told me it needed to be rewired and electrical work is expensive. I did it myself and it took me about 5 minutes in total. Zero rewiring needed. The part new was 150 so about 400 for 5 minutes of labor.

Meridian Automotive is always very thorough, explains what needs to be done immediately, soon, and what needs to be monitored for a more long term plan. It s very helpful to have a more accurate idea what to budget for down the road regarding car maintenance. They also try to get things done when they say they will be ready, and Austin is a lovely chauffeur for those who don t have a friend that can help with drop offs. Just happened that my car broke down right in front of them. Went in to ask for help and they were amazing. Gave me a quote and started working on my car in less than an hour. Next day they had my hose replaced and I got my car back at a pretty cheap price!

I really appreciate Meridian Automotive for their helpful and professional advise and service. I was recently hit on hw44 resulting in my vehicle "Totalled" and being forced into a long, extensive search for a replacement vehicle in a high- inflation market. I asked for referrals and advice about different vehicle makes, models, and always received gracious responses. I requested a pre-purchase inspection and they squeezed that in between their busy schedule which helped me determine the best vehicle to buy. It was well worth that small investment I have neither the time nor expertise to do myself. Thanks again Meridian Automotive!
