I d like to preface this with saying I m not very good at writing reviews, nor am I usually one to leave reviews anywhere but I care deeply about my car and they ve more than exceeded my expectations right from my first visit last year. I moved to Idaho with my wife last summer and was concerned about finding a reputable shop to service my s2000. I ve found that their knowledge in cars supersedes any of the previous S2k specialist shops I ve been to in the past. They re extremely thorough in inspecting the car s needs and make honest recommendations while doing the service you re in for immaculately. They re careful with my cars as if they were their own and they treat you with utmost respect human to human. The BK team has serviced and repaired my car on multiple occasions now and they ve earned my loyalty. Took my car in for an oil change and came out A WHOLE NEW CAR. Not literally but hear me out. I ve owned my GTI for 2 years now and have been experiencing what had appeared to be a small/slow leak. Two VW dealers and two tuner shops later: being told that I m crazy/stupid because it s just AC run off..BK FOUND THE LEAK. They were kind enough to let me know so I could have it brought into a (THIRD) VW dealer to be repaired under warranty. Not to mention the last reputable shop I took this car to put the wrong oil in it. BK has earned themselves a lifetime customer for a few reasons here: competency, quality, and the ability to educate their customers respectfully and honestly. Thank you so much for finally giving me some peace so I can really enjoy my GTI ownership. Took my 08 STI to BK because I heard and read great things about them. They are very knowledagle and professional. The owner spent time with me and went through previous things that had been done to my vehicle before I owned it. Had them install an AOS and service the transmission and rear differential. Prices are great and work is top notch. They earned my business and I won't be taking my Subaru anywhere else for service. If you own any Japanese originated cars, and you were going anywhere else for diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, you re doing it wrong. Their entire staff is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and precise. They treat customers very fairly, and don t try to run the bill up. Couldn t be happier with the experience I had with them, and will not go anywhere else for any mechanical needs.Services: Electrical, Auto engine tuning

This place is special, I have been coming to Bk now for about 4 years. I m on my 3rd Subaru now and feel extremely lucky to have Brian and his crew here to take care of me. They are extremely detail oriented and always have the best advice to keep their customers happy and on the road with a healthy vehicle. Just recently I had Brian and his crew put some go fast parts and a pro tune on my car, needless to say it turned out better than expected. Wether its standard maintenance or your next crazy project car don t hesitate to contact them, you won t regret it!Thanks again BK

I ve been bringing my Subaru wrx to them whenever I need something done. I trust them with my car over every single shop in the treasure valley. Every time I walk in they remember me and make me feel at home. They specialize in Japanese cars but I swear they can fix just about anything. They also make sure you re taken care of and don t screw you over like some places. They respectively answer any questions and are very thorough when explaining your car. They provide great oil (I only get my oil from them now) and are very fair on prices. I appreciate this shop and will continue to support their local business forever and recommend them whenever I have a chance. Just had my clutch and a ton of other maintenance done on my WRX. and I can honestly say I've never had such a great experience with a shop. EVERY employee was well informed and the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and educated on products and how things worked on the car and how it would all come together. Also had a chance to meet the owner who was very well educated and friendly and helpful as well. By far rate these guys 5 stars and will Be bringing my vehicles back here for sure. Thanks BK!

I could not be more happy with the guys at BK. I have a 2021 Honda Accord 2.0. I had installed KTuner on my car and had nothing but issues. They were able to install the Hondata Stage 2 on my car and fix the sticky buttons on my panel. My car is driving better than ever and the Hondata Tune blows KTuner out of the water. I would recommend these guys to anyone. I will be taking my Honda there to get oil changes and any further things I want to do to my car. You guys are the BESTService: Auto engine tuning

Brian and his crew are amazing. I recently purchased a Type R and wanted to get a new wheel and tire setup. I had never purchased wheels or tires before. Brian helped me every step of the way. Educating me on the specs, makes, models and fitment of the wheels and tires. I not only ended up with an absolutely beautiful new set for the car but learned alot throughout the process. Brian and his shop exude JDM quality in not only their products but their customer service as well. I really can't say enough good things about my whole experience. Whether you need a complete new build or some simple tires and wheels for your ride don't go anywhere else. Thank you again!

I've been going here for about 8 years for 2 of our vehicles for all oil changes, maintenance, repairs, engine replacement, and more. BK does the best work that I always trust. BK has always been fair with pricing and quality of work. I have never had issues with them or my car due to their techs. Have had faulty equipment but they do everything to make it right and give honest opinions on ways to service and upgrade your ride

BK Industries gives me the confidence that they'll take care of my car that I value highly and the same way I would. They don't approach jobs like an average auto repair shop. They keep race cars alive and on the road and running well. They don't see people as numbers. Will be coming back for quality service.

Came in needing to replace an oil control valve, made it pretty clear.They insisted I had my vehicle diagnosed.They charged me close to $200 in supposed "labor" for the diagnosis even though they didn't solve any issue and only explained that I needed the parts, and I already knew that since I already had the part! Wouldn't install because not OEM. Just cleared the check engine code, no problem was solved in an hour and a half of labor...Very unprofessional and wildly expensive.If you have thousands of dollars to blow on your car I guess come here but its not for me. I ended up getting the valve cover gaskets and ocv replaced at $150 labor which is what this place charged me for doing NOTHING.

I had been wanting to get a protune on my wrx for a while, and had decided to go with BK and man am I glad I did! From my first call to them and going in to talk to them, to now, Brian, Jeff, Will, & Shawn have been nothing but helpful and great to work with and super knowledgeable. They informed me of the entire process, what needs to be done before doing the tune, etc. So after a fresh oil change, I went in and they threw it on the dynapack dyno, and right away Jeff noticed some significant knock with the ots stage 2 tune(I have a Cobb accessport). Did I mention these guys are a Cobb-certified Protuner shop? The day wasn't without its challenges, it was over 100 degrees that day, but Jeff managed to get rid of the knock, I was amazed, not a single bit of knock all the way to redline! I took the car back a couple weeks later when it was much cooler, they worked around my schedule and even came to my work to pick my car up, finished the protune, and picked me up after work with my car. Jeff did an amazing job with the car. From tuning alone, I gained over 20hp and over 30ft/lbs of tq! But they also offer what's called a boostane tune, it's octane booster you can buy from them, and mix it to make all the way up to 110octane gas. I had them do an additional tune for 95 octane, and that picked up another 11hp and 13tq! And if I happen to see any issues with the tune at all, they encouraged me to keep in touch and let me know, so they can make any tweaks necessary to make it the way I like it. Their costs are super reasonable for a tune, and the subsequent tweaks to it are included in the cost. They have the lowest labor rate in town as well, and the quality of the work is top notch.I also previously had them do the timing belt replacement on my old sti, and they price-matched and beat the best prices I could find in town. And as stated in other reviews, they don't cut corners, if it needed replaced it got replaced, but with good reason, they don't go replacing parts just to make money. I didn't want a bunch of new parts and have one little part break shortly after and cause damage to the stuff I just had them replace. Preventive maintenance is key. I will be taking my car back to them for anything I need whether I need something fixed or when I decide I need some more power, I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to get that extra power out of your car, or just need to keep it running strong for a long time.

Bk is the only place in town that has a all wheel dyno we did 3 pulls for 150 bucks which is awesome..thx BK

BK Industries really exceeded my expectationson numerous occasions. I am very pleased with the quality and transparency that teamprovided with the recent install of coils and exhaust on my BMW.I will continue to comeback and I would highly recommend them to all friends and fam!

original review 2018: I will never take my WRX anywhere else. Their attention to detail is immaculate and they outlined things that could go wrong before and after the tunes/install. If you have a JDM car, do not take it anywhere else.Update 2 Years later: I still stand by every word that I originally said. I took my car in for what we thought was a throwout bearing but it turns out the pressure plate on theclutch was failing. They walked me through what the repair would look like, the things they were going to do to prevent the same failure again, and outlined what I should do until I was able to get it fixed. They truly are masters of JDM and there is no one else in the area that can do it like them. Brian and his team are the real MVP's. I took my car to 2 different companies in Texas and they did a horrible job. Once I moved to Idaho and found BK I decided to give them a try. BK Industries exceeded my expectations. They believe in quality and doing things right the first time. So glad I found BK Industries.

Wanted to learn a little bit about my car as well as get advice from PROFESSIONALS, they deliver hihi high quality work for a fair price and will give you advice on anything you need to know. Took my 2006 STI in for an inspection and they gave me all the info I needed as well as advice for preventive maintenance. Would highly recommend to anyone and I will. WILL RETURN!
