Chuck is the best, he fixed my BMW i3 even though he had never worked on one of those before. It's true, it took him some time but no other shop in McCall wanted to work on my car. About the price, it was worth it compared to what the dealer might have charged me.

We were on vacation in Mc Call, after a day of sightseeing we were coming back into town when our car just stopped working! Luckily we got it off the road and were able to get our car to Sharlies Auto Repair. Where they quickly diagnosed the issue and were able to get parts and have us back on the road the following day.As a retired mechanic I found Sharlies shop to be clean and organized. I called ahead of time to ask how much would an oil change cost and someone told me that the oil change would cost me 30 dollars but when I got ready to pay it was 30 dollars for labor and 45 dollars part for oil change.The person working on my car has to be supervised also so I was worried about my car getting taken care of the right way because the person working on my car is use to working on bigger vehicles like trackers. I doubt I'll be going back to this place again.

We were in McCall for a family event and started having issues with strange noises from our vehicle. We couldn t chance driving the 500 miles back home without getting it diagnosed and repaired. Sharlie s was fantastic! They looked at it immediately and diagnosed the issue. Then they found the part, fixed it, and had us back on the road in just a few hours. Our family vehicle is running great now and they went above and beyond to help us in a pinch! Thank you!Service: Steering & suspension replacement

My daughter and her boyfriend got stuck in McCall when his truck broke down. Dude that was working that day got them in and back on the road in no time. I know they were busy with lots of other projects at the time but they were willing to squeeze them in because of their situation. This dad appreciates them more than they know!

We were on vacation from Washington, pulling a 35ft 5th wheel. Our diesel pick-up was running terribly. Chuck new what was wrong with it before he even looked at it. Still, he did a few tests & sure enough he was right. The last place we got fuel, had has mixed in with their diesel. We filled up & ran thru all of that with a treatment added & the truck runs like a champ again! Thank you Chuck for saving us from spending $4000 on new injectors that we didn't need!

Our truck broke down in Mccall and within a fee minutes of making the phone call we were at the shop and our truck was ready the next morning. The whole process was seamless and painless. I cant thank the guys there enough who helped us be able to enjoy our vacation. Great guys and cost was as good or better than in the valley.

Chuck and his other mechanic were great. Very honest and great sense of humor. Loaned my niece my suburban. The car died on her one night. We went to tow it. Looked like typical alternator problems. Dim lights, unable to start or jump. We towed it to Sharlies. A few days later they added a gallon of gas and charged up the battery. Turns out she ran it out of gas and in the time it took us to get there she ran the battery down running the heat, playing loud music, leaving the headlights on...It didn't help that she knew it had a broken fuel gage and would add a gallon or two instead of just filling the tank and resetting the current mileage as instructed...but what would I know? Anyway, $50 in just time and big betty the suburban is back.

I've always wondered who I could trust to fix my car or truck if either one broke down in the McCall, Idaho area. The other day, I got my answer. On Hwy 55, near the Brundage turn-off, we had to pull over to meet baby's needs. Problem was, the truck wouldn't restart. I called around, and found Sharlies Auto Repair. Chuck, the owner, asked a lot of questions and had me do a number of checks. Turned out my starter died. He suggested a couple of tow companies, and the one I used, ABT Towing, was great. Both companies treated my wife, kids and me like family. The next day, I had Chuck repair my wobbly steering column (notorious problem for old Silverados). I had planned to put my boat in at Payette Lake, so he helped me do that by driving me back to the lake and, later, picking me up after he fixed the steering column. He treated me like I've known him since we were kids. Talk about service!
