Two hours after buying our vehicle our air conditioning broke, they did replace it-800 dollar repair. However no air conditioning in the summer caused us to roll down the windows, which caused the paneling to uncurl at the windows. Also the back up camera only works half the time. Also the rust they covered with paint is coming through. Another thing some clearly locked their keys inside and and warped the door causing it to leak in rain on the driver's side. The 'outlet' also does not work, but they sure acted like it did. It only came with one fob that has no key in it. kinda disappointed I paid 20,000 for my SUV. I contacted them and they only addressed the air conditioning.

Had an excellent car buying experience with Cooks. They were very honest and upfront about the whole process. They went the extra mile to make sure they got me the exact car we were looking for. Very pleased, will be back again and highly recommend them!

I've bought multiple vehicles from Cooks and they've been the most upfront and honest dealer I've dealt with. Never break the bank and willing to take no for an answer if it's not right for me. Highly recommend for affordability and all the vehicles I've bought are still on the road today years later. Newest addition is of the 2 wheel variety, classic car will probably be in the future.

I got my 1st car off a lot today here at cooks! And my self and my husband are extremely happy with what we found and got! A 2017 chevy traverse! They were super cool and very kind and gave us the space we like! They aren't like every other car dealership, the don't try and talk you into it they let you do yoyr thing! Great place! Highly recommend!

Hands down the best car buying experience ever! I was in and out in less than an hour. No haggling over price of vehicle or trade-in and most importantly no games that you get from a lot of other dealerships. Will buy from here over and over if they have the vehicle I am looking for.

Great experience buying my first vehicle from them! Didn t feel pressured, friendly & helpful staff, the atmosphere of the dealership was right up my alley being decorated with vintage auto decor and artwork! Would definitely do business with them again! Thank you!

ETA****!!!!!: I recede my good review. ..THEY ZIP TIED THE GEAR SHIFTER CORRECTOR AND IT BROKE TONIGHT ON OUR WAY HOME FROM WALMART LEAVING ME AND MY CHILDREN STRANDED I CALLED COOK'S CAR COMPANY AND THEY CLAIM THAT THEIR MAINTENANCE MAN CLEARED IT TO BE PUT ON THE LOT WHICH I FIND VERY FUNNY BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ZIP TIED IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED CORRECTLY not only did he just pay his car payment today now we don't have the means or funds to fix the damn thing. Very upset with how they responded to us. I know a car is as is but you and good moral standing should not lie to a person stating that it is a good to go truck when indeed it is not

We walked in and put a couple grand down while waiting for some money to come thru, Rich was very patient, and ev3n replaced the windshield. I called him to let him know we were about 45 minutes and he had the truck ready and paperwork printed. We were in and out in 10 minutes.. very professional and courteous. They don't have a large selection but had what we needed when we needed it. Definitely one of the best car buying experiences we have had.

Best deal we found on a beautiful, high quality vehicle in 200 miles. The truck is top notch only to be beat by the customer service. No hassle, no gimmicks, no pressure and priced right instead of inflated prices. Thank you Cooks for your excellent service and a truck that I'm looking forward to driving for many years!

Absolutely fantastic service! These men are so kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I came all the way down from Spokane to purchase a car. They worked hard to get me into that vehicle. The starter went out while looking at the car, they replaced it over night and delivered it to my Spokane home the next day. No additional charge. They're shop is really neat to look through too. They work on classic models. Thank you so much for the excellent service. I will be back.

This was my 1st time going back to a used car dealer in decades. Awesome experience! No pressure sales. The service guy is absolutely amazing. They answered all my questions and even addressed a few issues that they did not even have to considering the hot market of the 00-04 F250's with the 7.3L diesel. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Cooks was very helpful when I was looking to buy a great truck within a reasonable price range. They actually sold me the truck $500 under market price. They have also helped me order a new key for the truck and that is not something they had to do but it is very much appreciated. Rich was my salesman and he along with his friendly staff made the entire process easier and faster then any previous dealership has done for me. They didn't try and force a bunch of worthless extras on me like other auto dealers have. Rich also got me the lowest finance rate I have ever had at below 2%!!! Thanks Cooks!!

very welcoming for any type of business especially for a car dealership. everybody was easy to talk to and very patient as we waited for our loan to get written up. there is zero pressure and no gimmiks or anything. if you need a car best place you can go. if they dont have what you want id recommend waiting tell they do dont waste time at any other dealer

This was my first time buying a car from a Car company ever and I was nervous at first but Justin and Pete made me feel like family. I told Justin what I was looking for and what kinds of things I would want my new rig to do and he was quick to help me look up all my options and also had recommendations for where I should go to achieve them. When it came down to trading in my car, Pete was great to work with meeting me half way on what I was hoping for. In return my payments fell right where I needed them to be and that was Awesome!! I felt totally satisfied with all the wonderful customer service that they showed me there. The nice man who sits by the front door was awesome too and sweet to jump on and help to take my plates off of my old car while I was trying to sign papers to finish up with my new rig. Overall I had an excellent experience working with all of them and love my new rig!! I will definately be back in the future and recommend them to anyone. Thanks again to the guys at Cooks Car Company! Cheers to a great end of 2020 and moving forward in a new ride!!

I was in the market to down trade my vehicle to save some money. A friend of mine suggested Cooks Car Company to me and check out what they had to see if they could work with me. I went in hesitantly because of used car dealerships having a reputation of not being honest. Well I can say I was put at ease as soon as I walked in the door. Pete Cook not only took the time to explain every step but was transparent with every piece of information and didn t candy coat it. I very much appreciated it. I would recommend Cooks Car Company to everyone!! You won t be disappointed!!! Thanks Pete!!!

I bought my first car from Pete it was a brand new 1990 Honda never had any problems with it. Now I'm back and just bought a Kia sorento suv.and I love it. as always pete was great and give me a great deal this is the place for good used cars. Thanks Pete.

This was my first car buying experience and I was quite apprehensive. Pete was very straightforward with me and told me he didn t want it to be a high pressure experience... then he actually followed through on that statement. The whole experience was really chill and I appreciated him holding the vehicle for a couple hours to give me the time to leave and consider the vehicle. I m happy with the buy, the price, and the way the entire team treated me. Traveled 45 minutes to go there and would do it all over again without hesitation.

The gentleman at Cooks were simply amazing, friendly, not pushy and really efficient as well as speedy. I seriously recommend you go and check these guys out the next time you are looking for a vehicle. Ill never go anywhere else now that i have done business with them! Definitely an A+ team!

I always have the most amazing experience when I deal with Pete!The staff and Pete have always been direct, honest, and wonderful to deal with. Pete has not only been amazing to me, but I sent my son there and a friend of mine.Everything is black and white.... What Pete says is accurate and straight to the point! Excellent cars, great carfax history, clean vehicles, ethical company, awesome customer service!!!!I bought my first car with Cooks Car Co. The experience was awesome! It was an excellent car and is still running.My spouse have returned and purchased a VW passat and we are thrilled with this fantastic car!I helped my sister purchased her first car here and she loves it. I also made another vehicle purchase though them recently. The people and company are the same as always, great to work with, ethical, professional, and always deliver on quality!If you are looking to buy a quality used car, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go to Cooks Car Company!!!

My wife and I went and looked at a couple 3rd row family rigs on the Cook's car lot and liked the Acadia. Waiting until today to go for a test drive and fell in love. While talking to Justin and Pete they were very friendly and professional the whole time. Not pushy or over bearing in the least, and were genuinely happy to help me get the car. If I would have known about the service and the caliber of quality they deliver I would have gone there for every rig. I would highly recommend Cook's car company for any used car needs. They put people first and a paycheck second. Absolutely outstanding business.

The staff at Cook's are definitely a crew I'd recommend for anyone looking for a new car in the Lewiston area. They were super friendly and helpful but not at all pushy like your stereotypical Used Car Salesman.They made getting into a new SUV as stress free as humanly possible. And I wouldn't hesitate going through them if/when me or my wife would need an upgrade down the line.

We just had the BEST car buying experience EVER! We were losing patience with the process of buying a car, but Cook s Car Company had a car that caught our interest.We were greeted by Pete , the owner. He visited with us like we were old friends. He sent us on a test ride by ourselves. It was nice to be able to have a no pressure test drive.Pete gave us all the info he had. He openly told us that he acquired to car at auction and told us about the 3 mo. Warranty.His body shop pointed out the negatives he observed such as an aluminum hood that tends to corrode. We appreciated that. Cook s honesty and courtesy is worth the 100 mile drive. Thanks Pete for a great experience.We love the car!

There are amazing men who work in this store and are very knowledgeable on the cars they have on the lot. Pete was excellent on explaining the process and helping us out! Very quick, honest, and knowledgeable. No pressure which is a huge plus for us! Will definitely be back when we are ready to purchase another car!

My husband bought a car on Tuesday. Not only is he super happy with his Mini Cooper, everyone was very nice and helpful. Talking with these gentlemen is like visiting with family. I recommend Cooks Car Company to Everyone! Best car buying experience ever!!

I just bought a car here at this place and I must say this was the most enjoyable experience ever. This was my first time purchasing a car on my own and these gentlemen went over the top to make me feel like a human being instead of a $ sign. They made the anxiety of buying a car go away and walked me through every step of the process. Pete was more than accomendating and supportive with the paperwork involved and was super friendly with the entire process. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle - these guys will sure you feel right at home and confident with your purchase...and I must say their sense of humor is refreshing and helps ease the stress of buying a car! Pete and JR were very professional and made buying a pickup very comfortable and easy. They are in no way pushy and are very knowledgeable. I actually had fun working with these guys. Awesome place to work with. Extremely happy with Pete and his team. Felt very comfortable during the entire process, very low pressure and found exactly what we were looking for. Very fare on our trade in and went above and beyond to help us out. Thank you cooks car company. WOW! Pete and the Cooks Car Company Team are amazing. We traded in our car and purchased a used one They were very considerate and not pushy. They gave fair trade-in and worked with our loan officer to get financing lined out. Love our new truck!
