Love the vibe here-- stopped in a few times while in town on a bikepacking trip. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly while getting me setup with some new tires and fixing my fumbled derailleur and chain length to get me on the trail again. Zach shared lots of local knowledge and it felt like I was at my hometown shop. Be sure to give the shop dog some love! I will definitely recommend my friends to stop here for any repairs or rental needs!

Really happy with my experience at PK's Bike Shop. It's clear the shop promotes good service and the right solution for customers instead of volume and profit.Short story: I was out riding this morning when my rear Di2 derailleur exploded due to rocks flying into the mech. I was in a bit of a panic because I'm just passing through town. Zach - the owner and mechanic - took my blind call at opening bell - he told me to come in and see what they could do. Within 5 minutes, he had it on the stand and said let's take care of this right now. My rear mech's cage was incredibly broken, so we looked around for buying replacements, but instead of letting me spend $350+ on a new derailleur + shipping, he was able to cobble a solution together (using parts lying around) that performs identically well to my old mech. Note - this was not done at the compromise of safety or function, as he spent a lot of time measuring and testing. He spent another good 30 minutes with me as I tested it out and fine-tuned the shifting outside the store. Needless to say, I'll be recommending PK's for anyone coming to town!

I'm from SLC and my son came here in late August and had both his brakes bled at this shop. At first they felt fine, but the bleed only lasted for 3 weeks before he had to get another in SL. Not only was the work expensive, it wasn't of quality. 2 stars

Rented bikes for 4 hours so we could get the lay of the land on our first trip to Sun Valley. The two guys working the shop were very friendly and helpful. The one who got our bikes adjusted them and gave us tips for the best fit.We got the bikes above a cruiser for just in town riding and we loved them.

Took my bike here to fix a flat tire. I do not believe they patched a small hole on the tube, I believe they only put air in the tire. After 30 minutes of taking my bike there, the tube exploded in the middle of transporting my bike on our bike rack. I had to take it to another repair shop for a completely new tube. Wasted $20 for nothing.

Best shop in town hands down. My bike was recently stolen so I've been doing the rental thing and man o man did Zach hook it up. Nicest rental bikes in town and at the best price. In addition my partners bike was all kinds of jacked up in terms of bar and seat adjustment Zach quickly adjusted everything without expecting any payment what a guy. Go see these guys for any of your biking needs they will not disappoint.

PK's saved my bike vacation. I broke the axle in the rear wheel of my older model of mountain bike and could not find either a replacement axle or wheel at any shop in town. Everyone offered to order the part which would take the better part of a week, at which point I would have been long gone. The mechanic at PK's promised to check at his house to see if he had any spare parts that might work. Lo and behold he came through with a new wheel at a very good price. I could not have been happier. They go out of their way to make customers happy.

My derailer exploded during my trip to Sun Valley and PK's Bike Shop saved the day. They charged me a fair price and were able to squeeze me in the same day. And they also showed me some of the damage that my home bike shop had done to cause my problem. I trust them way more than my hometown bike shop now. Three cheers for PK's Bike Shop!

These guys were fast, very helpful, and had much better bike rental rates than Bald mtn rates. They fully equipped me to go downhilling Bald mtn, with tools, spare tube, and CO2. I didn't need them because they gave a 3 month old, double-suspension bike. It handled every trail. I don't try jumps but did about 12 trails, including Pale Rider twice.

Despite huge problem renting performance mtn bikes due to covid supply issues, and high demand in remote summer resorts, PKs made it work well. Hi end rental for good price. Gave good service, trail suggestions and flexible rental extension.

This guy really helped us out. I needed a new rear wheel while bikepacking the Wild West MTB route and he went through a lot of hassle (phonecalls, fitting, re-fitting) and finally got me a real good one. The SAME day!! I am on the road again! Tnx again for your great service (and cold beer). Bram from the Netherlands.

Great bike shop! Super hip, downhome, young vibe, which is rare in Ketchum. The owner is honest and helpful. He got my bike set up with what it needs and didn t try to sell me on anything I didn t need.

I needed a quick part for my shifter that broke when I was on a trip here. Both guys were super helpful and got me back up and running in no time. Really sweet shop and I would highly recommend.
