Giving this place some well deserved love. First off the location is gorgeous with incredibly fresh and clean air and right near the river. It is surrounded by green grassy hills (spring time) and a good amount of trees, with more just recently planted. The grounds are tidy, with no trash lying around like a previous reviewer noted, and they are in the process of replacing the pads with nice concrete. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, and made sure that I was in the right site that I wanted. I stayed here for just over three weeks and never once had any issues. The guests were polite and respectful and it was almost always very quiet. The proximity to the bike path make riding to Ketchum or Hailey very convenient and so much fun. The scenery is incredible riding next to the river. Book your reservation on their website and have a wonderful stay!

We had an awesome stay at Meadows RV park near Ketchum. Location and town accessibility is amazing. Most RV sites have Mountain Views. On-site showers and laundry in addition to full hookups are added benefits. Online Booking was seamless and hot was very responsive to messages and very accommodating to our last minute itinerary change. Would definitely recommend and return for future stay. They also have cabin rentals available.Nearby activities: Ketchum & sunvalley is less than 5miles. Mountain biking and hiking trails are close by as well.

The only positive is that it is close to a great bike path! Here are the remaining highlights : property had quite a bit of trash littered throughout. The whole place kind of looked like a tornado went through. The restroom showers do not have a lock! The front office is only occasionally staffed. Don t bother emailing or calling as it is unlikely you will receive a response back. It is unfortunate - if the management cared, this place could be amazing.

We recently stayed here for about ten days. I would first like to give a shout out to Sandy in the office for working miracles to accomodate us and our guests. She get's five stars for sure. Sandy is a very busy person. The phone rings constantly and I understood her to say she sometimes has to go to the Mobile Home Community in the back for her manager. However, she always leaves a sign on the door and if you are checking in, the paperwork is left in a box outside. The park itself looks to be under an improvement process with some sites having concrete pads now. The sites are definitely close together, and yes, you are close to your neighbor, however, you can choose not to park directly next to each others doors. Everyone (campers) were willing to move their truck or whatever to make it easier to get in and out of tight spots. They have added cabins which is nice, but if you have a big rig, entering your spot could be difficult. We saw two big rigs hit the roofing of cabins. Some chose to back into a pull through while others simply parked the wrong way for ease.We didn't utillize the bath/showers and didn't have any issues with trash as others were saying. The bike path and river are very close by and the mountains are there to view from all sites. The Meadows is really the only game in town. That being said, we enjoyed our time there and again, are truly thankful to Sandy for working so hard for us.

6 miles from downtown Ketchum. Great to have hookups for electrical and sewer. Close to the river and biking trail. One thing to note, you are very close to your next door RV'er about 8 feet to the other campers door. We extended our awning and it literally touched our neighbors awning. Also the hookups are in an awkward spot. They didn't plan the hookups very well. Also, you have to reverse out of your spot so you don't hit the new tiny homes. But overall a great place to RV.

This park was confusing. There were gravel spots, cement spots, cabins and houses across the street there were houses. The manager was supposed to be an on-site manager but she was rarely there. When we pulled in, we didn't know where to park. No info in email either. We just parked in the first spot. It is very close to Ketchum ID so that was great.

Good place to stop on the trail or go to all the sites around the Ketchum / Sun Valley area. Everything worked as it should, nice long term customers who stay for months that keep things clean and make the place go. Then there were those without a trailer who threw their garbage all over and slept in there cars - dirty mess. PS: You should not allow this kind of thing to go on. It did go on for three days. Bathrooms were only partially clean, I think people washed their dogs in there - grass and mud - customers get minus 5 stars. Should service them more often. Quiet, no trouble, close quarters and could only partially extend awning due to big RV next door. Not many other places unless you do real camping. Likely will not return. True what others said about the bathroom / shower - no lock, one stall (does lock) and wait your turn if you can. Not good.

If you want a home base for adventures into the Sawtooths, this is it. If you want even a modicum of space, it is not. Your RV door will face your neighbor. The pro of this is the sewer hookups are not next to your door. So close to your neighbor only one of you can deploy your awning. I don t blame the park, but we did have someone hit our RV while they were pulling in which speaks to how tight things are. There is a really nice bike path that goes many miles in both directions. You can take it into downtown Ketchum. Unfortunately nothing is in easy walking distance. There is a free bus route that stops about a mile from the park.We decided to leave early because of nearby forest fires. They were accommodating and refunded the unused days without issue. I also liked their online checkin system. They sent us our site number and map over text so we didn t need to stop and check in.When we were leaving they were ripping up a bunch of sites to refurbish them. I also heard they were going to put in some new sites with diagonal parking which is what would really improve things.

Spots are pretty tiny. The advertised wifi did not actually work even though we were in the spot right next to where the router is apparently located. At first the bathroom + shower were filthy, but then after we complained the men's room was just stuck locked, even with the correct code. Another resident informed us that feces had sat on a toilet seat for 24 hours until she complained. The office doesn't answer the phone or ever call back for voice mails. When we showed up in person about the wifi and dirty bathroom after trying to call several times, the lady in the office, which appeared to be under construction, seemed confused and claimed it had just been cleaned. I don't know what to think about that, I have seen much cleaner bathrooms at truck stops and forest service pit toilets.Laundry was "closed until further notice". I would recommend staying somewhere else.

It's more like a parking lot with hookups than a "park." 6-7' of grass between spaces and door side faces someone else's, so it's weirdly intimate. We could hear people walking inside their trailer next to us. WiFi was intermittent, definitely not dependable nor even decent strength when it did work. Bathroom/showers are old but clean. Pretty quiet given all those units so close together. Road noise was minimal, super quiet overnight. Quick access to the Wood River Trail and fishing. If you don't need hookups, there are many options not too far away.

Pleasantly surprised. 3.5 stars. After the not so mediocre reviews we went in expecting the worse but actually not too bad. Since we ride bikes the Wood river bike trail is right by the park. Beautiful 15 min ride to Ketchum and 40 min to Hailey. It was quiet but close enough to hear the highway. Spots are close together so no awning in most spaces. Pads are old asphalt with some grass in between. The rest rooms are nothing special but they were clean and had a shower. No store, gas, air, rv supplies or food here, the nearest places are in Ketchum about 3 miles. Spaces are configured in opposing directions so your door faces your neighbors door on the one side so if you are 2 campers keep that in mind when picking spots then you get the middle grass to share. There is room to park extra vehicles on the other side of your camp spot. Overall I would definitely stay again and it s the only game in town for rv s.

The Meadows is the only RV park in Ketchum with full hookups but all the sites are buddy sites. The grass strip shared between our site and the one next to us was 6 ft wide. We could not extend our awnings and there was no place for us to sit outside. The internet did not work at our site and there is no cable TV. There is a laundry room but it is a block from the park. And I found the staff did not respond to my inquires. This is more of a parking lot with full hookups than a RV park. If you want to be near Ketchum with full hookups this is the only place available. I would never stay here again.Follow up your reply: thank you for the response, however, that is the same phone number my wife and I have called several times before only getting voicemail and never getting a return call. I think it would be a waste of my time to call again.

This park is basically the only game in town worth staying. Parking area was paved, grass/mud areas not well maintained and some doggy droppings here and there. Picnic tables needed cleaning. Spots very close and face each other. Book the end spot nearest the dumpster for the most privacy and not facing your neighbors. Good communication with owners but never met or saw them entire stay. Good location between Ketchum (full of snobs/everything way overpriced); and Hailey (much nicer people and shopping for what you need). We definitely overrated Ketchum for an enjoyable stop and regret wasting our time and money in that town.

Nothing special about this with regards to RV parks. Slots are really close together so be prepared to get cozy with your neighbor. No trees or any meaningful landscaping, but there is a nice view of the hills. Staff is overworked and do their best to communicate, but don t expect an immediate call back. Leaving messages could be tough too as we ran into mailbox full greeting.

Great place!Excellent location.A little crowded in the summer but hey look where we are!Winter is very secluded! No frills, hook ups with clean restroom. Heated restroom is a huge plus for showering in the winter weather.Going snowboarding tomorrow! Grateful this place is open year round

I stayed at Meadows RV Park for a month which is hardly enough time to see 1/4 of what this area has to offer. Everyone here was wonderful. Jennifer was available to answer all my questions and was diligent about doing rounds to make sure everything was in order. Chris and Jared do a great job of taking care of the grounds and Perry was a super host! There was a day where we lost power and water which was unfortunate for everyone. The city required everyone to boil water before we drank it to be on the safe side. Perry walked around with notices and gave one to each of us or made sure it was attached to the RV door. Also, this is a great location - nestled between Hailey and Ketchum (which both have great restaurants!) and the bike trail is very close. I will definitely return, and looking forward to it, as I still have so much to see around here!

You pull into odd site numbers facing one direction and even sites the opposite way. So neighboring RVs have their doors facing each other. When we made reservations they said we d be next to our friends who also have an RV. (We made the reservations with one phone call.) That would have made the experience better. But our friends are a few sites down from us.Our neighbors are also here with friends in a separate RV. They are next to each other but their utility sides face each other, not their doors. There is a 7 wide strip of patchy grass between the sites. On the door side should be two picnic tables. We have 2, but our friends have only one to share with their neighbors. They have a camper van and normally eat at their table in camp sites. I did see another strip of grass with three tables, but the two families on either side of it were using all three. There are small pieces of litter in the sites and we have a pile (about 4 cups) of something black like charred wood chips, but not quite, on the grass by our table. We ve been stepping around it. Our sewer pipe didn t have a lid which is unpleasant when you are not hooked up.Next to the office hut they have a large residential size trash bin. The bin was so full the lid didn t close and bags were sitting on the ground next to it. They do have two dumpsters in the back of the RV park.No one is ever in the little office hut, but when we walked to the river we noticed an office building for Meadows Mobile Home Park which I think is part of the same management. If we needed something, we d ask there.Ok that was all the negative comments. Now for the positive. There are fir trees, willows, Aspen, and other trees around the perimeter of the RV Park. They are a lovely backdrop. Another half dozen trees dot the sites. They water the grass so it s green. The sites are level and paved so it s not dusty. The mobile home park is quiet and takes up several blocks between the RV area and the river. We can hear cars on the highway, but it s not too loud for us. Quieter at night. The office hut has a box with nice campground maps showing which way to pull in for everyone arriving that day. You just take your map and go camp. The map also has the wifi password and a short list of things to do.Because the RV front doors face each other, their utility sides do too. There are grassy strips behind the trailers with double utility hookups. The Wood River Trail is only two blocks away (you don t cross the highway) and access to the Wood River is just beyond the trail. The River has 3-12 rocks instead of sand. It s a beautiful river. The trail goes 7 miles toward and beyond Sun Valley to the trailhead where there is a parking lot. or you can go the other direction and go to Hailey and beyond. Only one mile away is a botanical garden which was beautiful.

We've stayed here before and took a chance there was space available for a drop-in. We were hot and tired when we arrived, and the only space available was a non-hookup site. We took that spot anyway because Jennifer, our host, said she would try to get us moved to full hookups if there's was a cancellation. Long story short, she went out of her way to get us accommodated. She was such a sweet, kind host. The sites are pretty close together, but that was made up for in convenience to Sun Valley activities and the hard work of a really great host. The free wifi had a pretty good connection, too.

We were apprehensive about staying here based on the reviews, but we were more than pleasantly surprised....So much so that we stayed two nights instead of one. All employees we dealt with were pleasant and helpful (even helped us while pulling in to make sure we were in the right place for all hookups). The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well-kept. The pull-thru site had a great view and shade from a large tree, and the sites were no closer together than anywhere else we ve ever stayed. It was also walking distance from a river that was great for a picnic and fishing. The only comment I would have is that the laundry is a little ways off the site and is not very convenient.

You may not be able to extend your awning without hitting the RV next door. Making matters worse, the owners saved money by making the hookups only every other space. This means RVs alternate front to back. The result is you get to come out your door right into a microscopic piece of grass which is also your neighbors front yard.If you really need hookups and you want to be almost in Ketchum, this is the only game in town. It was quiet and the Wood River path is just down the street. Just be aware that you will be shoved together like sardines.

We stayed 4 nites in our travel trailer. The pad was gravel and level so I didn't have use blocks to level the trailer. The water and sewer outlets were at one end of the pad and I had to use a sewer hose extension to complete the connection. We used the trailer shower but the park toilets. The Meadows location was conveniently located near the Bald Mountain Resort where I was attending an event. The facilities were basic and fully functional. Jennifer, the manager, was friendly and helpful.

Very close to ketchum-sun valley, about 3 miles south of town. there is a valley bus that runs on a semi-regular schedule. better yet, the bike path that runs through the whole valley is beautiful and a couple hundred yards away. great location. fee for site was only $55, which is very reasonable for a world class resort area.the sites are small but adequate for a big rig. Only 30 amp service and no cable (that's worth a star). The staff is friendly and very helpful. bathrooms are dated but clean. they have pull through and back in sites. just id the highway.

Served its purpose, other than code for bathroom not working on last day all okay. No ambiance and outdated but warm shower and close to town and skiing ) Great YMCA in Jasper for lap swimming and playing with kids as well as a gym and hot tub.

Great setting for an RV park. Nothing fancy, kind of tight places but the spaces are all pull-through so for even our 36' foot 5th wheel it wasn't difficult. No cable TV service, the internet was okay, but would fade from time to time. The only downside was having each space alternate directions - the space between RV's are pretty close so you're sharing a space about 8 -10' or so. This would be a great spot if you were travelling with family/friends and wanted to be door to door. Very nice staff at the park - very helpful and kind.

This is our third stay, the first under new management. Jennifer, the new manager couldn t be friendlier or more accommodating. She is clearly working very hard to overcome the negative reviews under the previous manager. We especially appreciated the welcome text message as we were traveling to Ketchum containing a map showing us which spot we were assigned and which driveway to use to orient properly into the space. The park is very clean and tidy. Location is great, especially the access to the river and Wood River Trail system. Jennifer has made an already nice place to stay into a great experience.

Amending this post - as I stated we re new to RV ing, I should have contacted park staff before posting a review . Jennifer at Meadows RV contacted me and explained the situation with the water, was very apologetic and offered to make things right. Although the spaces are tight I would return off season. I prefer space and a more camp like atmosphere however I m learning most RV parks with hooks ups have smaller spaces.Very tight spaces, our awning is literally 1 from our neighbors awning. We re new to RV ing so we don t have all the gadgets yet, unfortunately when we pulled in we were told not to drink the water due to a power outage. We were not notified ahead of time. The gentleman said it would be on soon, 24 hours later we told 3 working days!!! Everywhere in the area seemed to have drinking water, I don t understand the problem??? We were charged for full hook ups and even though we re new I know this includes drinkable water. On a good note, friendly people, beautiful area. I would only recommend this place if you don t mind very cramped quarters.

Got to park with no one at check in desk. Saw note posted giving us our site assignment. Found the site no water, power or sewer. Waited for someone to talk to, then told that they tell people about this being a dry site if reservations done on the phone but acknowledged our online reservations omitted that fact. It was 95 degrees outside we needed power. They had no other sites available so referred us to an even crappier RV park 12 miles further out of town.Besides the proximity to Ketchum, there s not much good about this park. Sites are very close together. RVs have to often face each other s doors because the hookups are backwards in several sites (if ur lucky enough to get hookups). Very close to highway noise.

We've stayed here twice now, both times for Rebecca's Private Idaho bicycle event over Labor Day weekend. Based simply on parking our little RV and riding in to Ketchum to take part in the cycling related festivities, I'd probably give 4.5 start. The location is very convenient to a paved hike/bike path that takes you right in to town. It is clean with your typical tightly spaced spots. I think 1/2 have sewer hook-ups. There is a full restroom with (at least on the men's side) 1 toilet and 1 shower. There can be a wait if many of the visitors don't have big RVs and use their own potty.BEWARE HOWEVER, that you must check in between 1pm and 8pm. This means that if you drive up from, say, Salt Lake City, you must leave plenty early to get there before 8pm, even if you've made reservations. During our drive up, slowly, in traffic, my wife called to see what would happen if we got there a bit late, and was curtly told that we'd have to wait until the next day at 1pm... and we would still be charged for our night.

We just left the Meadows after spending a week at the park. This is our second year there and I want to say a special thank you for the kindness and helpfulness of Jennifer their new campground manager. From our initial call to reserve a site, questions we had before we arrived and helping us with a mail issue she couldn't have been easier to work with and incredibly friendly! The bike trail right around the corner is great - we saw 2 moose just down the way in the river; and they are within close proximity to great mountain biking and hiking (and of course restaurants in Kethcum). Yes, there is road noise but much less than any KOA you would go to on the road.
