Knob Hill Inn is a special spot! We enjoyed an excellent three night stay recently. Every single staff member was warm, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxing, easy, and comfortable. We loved access to the hotel car service/shuttle - so convenient we never moved our rental car once! It's also an easy walk to many Sun Valley hot spots - we walked home from dinner a few nights. Breakfast was delicious. Hot tub/sauna area was great. Large room with a comfy bed and soft linens. We will definitely return!

Wow! What an amazing experience! I cannot say enough great things about this hotel and their hospitality. The rooms are cozy and clean with amazing views! The staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect.Location-wise, Knob Hill Inn couldn't be more convenient, within walking distance to all of Ketchum s shops and restaurants. Also, the hotel had a shuttle service that brought us to and from River Run Lodge. The indoor/outdoor pool was super relaxing and was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. It was really nice being able to walk downstairs and go to The Grill for incredible drinks and food!My stay was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to return to this charming hotel in the heart of Ketchum. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway!

A very nice and quaint hotel. The employees were friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was available and included with your stay. Our room was available early which allowed us to get unpacked and begin to walk around the area earlier than expected. Our stay was topped off with a small box of chocolates. I would recommend this hotel and we plan on staying there again in the future.

I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly romantic and immaculately clean, creating the perfect ambiance for a romantic getaway. The customer service was top-notch, truly the best I've experienced in any hotel I've stayed in the USA . I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for providing such exceptional service. Keep up the excellent work, and I can't wait to visit again soon! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Ally, Grace, Nikki, Lo and Michael made our stay amazing. Quaint, classic styling and convenience with hotel transportation--the property is also an easy walk to downtown Ketchum and on the Mountain Rides shuttle route. Perfect breakfast offerings with kind and competent staff and excellent on-site restaurant for dinner. The fireplace suite is amazing as are the general king rooms. Love it here and will return!Rooms: Incredibly comfortable beds, top of the line linens, and warm furnishings. Decks off many of the rooms.Nearby activities: Offer passes to YMCA which we didn't have a chance to use but nice perk.Walkability: Easy walk to downtown Ketchum shopping and dining, even in the snow. We loved walking home from downtown after dinner to take in the gorgeous clean air.Food & drinks: Reserve at least one night at the on-site restaurant. Still dreaming of the honey butter on the popovers!Noteworthy details: Staff who goes out of their way to make sure expectations are met!!! Even though we didn't bring our dog, I LOVED seeing the presence of some guests with their dogs which added to the warmth and charm of the property. Lovely indoor pool area and we even enjoyed the dry sauna after a day of skiing.

We travel to Sun Valley every year to go skiing. We have stayed at several hotels but nothing compares to staying at Knob Hill Inn!The staff are so friendly, super helpful and treat you like family. They offer a shuttle service around town and they even take you to the mountains and back. Sthefany was a huge help with booking our reservation. She was very professional and knew a lot about the area! She recommended so many fun activities for us.The food is delicious, breakfast is extremely filling for a full day on the slopes. We enjoyed their hot tub and sauna after we get back from skiing. The restaurant is really nice and the wait staff and bartenders treat you with such respect and it feels like you ve known them for years.Another great part of staying here is that you can bring your beloved dog with you! They even let them out for bathroom breaks while you re out for the day. I trust them to take great care of my dog!The managers are so accommodating and they really do have your best interests at heart and make you feel right at home.We will be staying at Knob Hill Inn for years to come- we won t stay anywhere else!Thank you Knob Hill Inn

We just had a fantastic ski week staying at Knob Hill Inn. Very comfortable oversized rooms. Five minutes from town and the ski lifts. Extra helpful, friendly staff. Easy transportation to/from town and Sun Valley resort. All we had to do was send a text for transport request. Hotel includes a hot breakfast in restaurant for all guests. Really one of the highlights each day. If we had a challenge or special request, we just sent a text, and they took care of the request promptly with a great attitude. We had dinner one night in the hotel, and the food was excellent (try the fried chicken, and lamb lollipops). We also brought our two chocolate labs on this trip for a nominal fee. We will be back to this upscale Inn.

I cannot say enough good things about the Knob Hill Inn. The location is perfectly placed on the edge of town, within walking distance to anywhere you d like to go. The rooms were very spacious and clean with beautiful views of the mountains; however the absolute rock stars of the establishment are the workers. Raegan spent so much one-on-one time with us giving personalized suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. Guido was genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. Both employees went above and beyond what was expected of typical hotel staff. I would stay anywhere these two work. Overall, excellent people, incredible hotel, highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed here for a few days and we thought it was really nice. Regan at the front desk was very helpful several times, recommending good spots, taking us on a short trip to get bikes and helping us to get reservations at their onsite restaurant. Rooms are nice, ours had a balcony where we could sit and chill, free breakfast was really good and great location. We used the YMCA pass that was provided and rode bikes in that area and went on a run. Super nice place and would stay there again.

When you think this place could not get any better, they decide to up the ante. In a location that is resort dominated, Knob Hill really shines where the others fall short. Everyone there greets you with a smile, can answer any question about the area, and is happy to help their customers with any problem. My girlfriend and I had been to Sun Valley in the past, but decided to try Knob Hill this time. We were greeted with unmatched hospitality, were quickly pointed in the direction of an incredible hike and were quickly helped out when we got lost in a new area of town. With them, hospitality is literally a phone call away. Did I mention that there were cookies at the desk every day when we bothered them with our questions? That alone definitely satiated our sweet tooth and made our trip that much better.Thank you to the incredible team at Knob Hill!!

Long ago, Knob Hill offered my girlfriend and I to stay and write an article about their restaurant. We, of course, took this offer and it was excellent.Years later, this would then be the place my now-wife held our (small) reception while we had our ceremony in the snowy mountains of Ketchum in January of 2021.The staff members are great and accommodating, the restaurant and chef are excellent, the views are beautiful, and they have a great story together. Ketchum/Sun Valley is a wonderful little city, and we will be staying at Knob Hill every time we visit the city we got married in.If you haven't picked up on this yet, I highly recommend them.

This was by far one of the best places I have stayed in a ski town. It is just a few minutes from the slopes and they get you there without fail. The rooms are amazing and the views are intoxicating! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We will be back and I would recommend this place to anyone summer or winter. Thank you to the whole team at Knob hill for a great vacation stay!!!!

This is genuinely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The fireplace room is absolutely lovely. It's cozy, beautiful, and all around you is the gorgeous scenery of the mountains. The staff is also unbelievably kind and helpful! Michael came to clean our fireplace and we had a wonderful conversation about home-made fiddles and Dungeons and Dragons. The genuine loveliness of the staff and calm atmosphere makes the place feel like a homely "Mom-and-Pop" bed and breakfast, with the luxury and comfort of a 4-star inn.

This gorgeous alpine haven is in a wonderfully convenient location between Ketchum and Sun Valley. Upon arrival, we were immediately blown away by the kindness of the staff and appreciated their personal service. The rooms are comfortable and all include a delightful balcony with beautiful flower boxes. The complimentary breakfast is terrific and our waiter Jesse was a chill dude. The pool is shaded for a perfect summer swimming experience. Highly recommend!

Exceptional. Beautifully appointed room with spacious private patio and fantastic bathroom. Easy parking and lovely view of the mountains. I was very impressed with all the service I received,, from the fast check-in, room service and the housekeepers. Room service food was remarkable. I have stayed at every hotel in Sun Valley/Ketchum/Hailey and I have to say this place is at the top of my list from now on! Looking forward to a return visit.

The most amazing, quaint, clean, cozy, inn you could ever stay at! This will be the only place we will stay when visiting. The staff were all SO kind and accommodating and went above and beyond. We loved how quiet and relaxing it was while also being close to everything in town. The real wood burning fire places in the rooms were the perfect final touch!

The hotel itself is a little run down but still charming. The staff at the bar and restaurant are pros and it s always worth a stop for a drink and dinner. The hotel service has been in steep decline for a few years ever since the management changeover. Yes, there is a staffing shortage. It s evident that the new(ish) owners have devalued talent, neither investing in professional staff, experienced staff or in training. This stands in stark contrast with its competitors in the market. KHI has a Tesla charger and is pet friendly. Without those two things, I would have no reason to stay.At breakfast, I waited 45 minutes for a toasted English muffin, which never arrived. This was while a young ESL mother and her child of 13 scrambled to do all the cooking, cleaning up and table service. Upon remarking to the front desk about the boy, their response was oh yes, he doesn t actually work here, he s just helping out. By which I assume they meant he is unpaid. This same incident put me in a hypoglycemic trough, and while the staff made snide remarks about how unfortunate the inconvenience was that I never received the breakfast I ordered, and that left me in such a time bind I could not go anywhere else to eat, I snapped back. For this, the staff escalated further and turned it into a problem of me being a bad guest. I don t blame the failings on the individual staff members - this is a failing of the ownership and management to invest in the people running the hotel. Because of this, the staff is in chaos and confusion constantly, guests suffer, and then are blamed for complaining.KHI used to be a premier property in Ketchum. Unfortunately, there is a sound reason why it s no longer mentioned in magazine write ups.If it s convenient to your visit or if you need a car charger and a pet friendly space, the rooms are large and you can just hold your nose (and go elsewhere for breakfast) at the devaluation of good service and professional staff of training. The history of the property deserves better management, and it is a shame to see the hotel in this state.

Wonderful Place to stay. The staff was knowledgable about the local area and helpful with all aspects of our trip. Ragan who worked the front desk made sure things ran smooth and was super helpful. A guy named Philip also provided a quick lift in town which really made our stay awesome! Great job by the entire staff and oh did I mention the room is the best we have ever had! Cheers, Jeff

I had such a wonderful experience at the Knob Hill Inn! My room was clean and modern with an adorable walk out patio. The pool/sauna area was also very clean and relaxing. Amazing place full of amazing people! Such a great experience. My first time visiting Sun Valley and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was fantastic, the food at the grill was exquisite, but the staff at Knob Hill were what truly made the experience such a positive one. They go above and beyond to assist their guests and are so friendly and courteous. Thank you all!

If you want to feel like the crme de la Crme, this is the spot. Becareful when you go there though. The entrance is sneaky. The outdoor seating is amazing, when weather permits of course.Staff is very courteous and informative.Make sure to try the mud pie. And while you wait I might suggest a tour of the wooded surroundings.

Great view from our beautifully appointed room. Staff congenial and helpful. Evening bar and dining facilities lovely. Facilities overlooked a beautiful patio & garden, which we were told becomes a big part of summer dining with tables on the grass. Numerous menu items were available (American & European) with an extensive special menu.

Stayed here for several days. Found the room excellent. Nice view off the balcony of the mountains. I don't normally eat at most in-house restaurants but this one came highly recommended by some local friends and this one delivered both a good culinary experience as well as a relaxing atmosphere. Would rate as a 3.5 to 4 star hotel. I was surprised to find no air conditioning but found the local climate even mid August negated the need.

Stayed here 3 days for a wedding. The location is convenient and very pretty. We did feel that the accommodations were quite overpriced though. The hotel needs a little tlc to justify the price range they're competing with. We had a few minor issues that included a broken phone, absent housekeeping and what I felt was a grimy pool but really nothing that warranted anything less than 4 stars. Staff and management were very kind and we appreciated our accommodations.

What an amazing time we had staying at Knob Hill Inn! Staff was very friendly and everything in the hotel was very clean. The room was incredibly cozy feeling - the second you stepped into the room we felt relaxed and comfortable. We both agreed it was our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in. Location was great - easy to walk everywhere in Ketchum that we wanted to go. Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again!
