We absolutely loved our short stay at Hotel Ketchum! Our room was clean and modern. The lobby and the patio were fun to spend time in.The staff was incredibly attentive and fast to help with anything. Breakfast was tasty. The location was perfect for exploring Ketchum by foot. And the biggest selling point for our family was the heated pool, made for very happy kids. They have decided that Ketchum, and Hotel Ketchum specifically, should be a regular thing for us now.

I picked this hotel because it was within walking distance of almost everything in Ketchum. The room was clean, updated and modern which was very nice. They send you text communications before you arrive and everything was ready when we got there. The lobby was very cute and well done and they have an outdoor sitting area called The Pasture with fire pits and comfy chairs that I really liked. There is only one elevator to the second floor that everyone has to use. And most of the rooms face the busy road for your view out the window. The hotel is a Travelodge style layout. You can hear everything from the parking lot and everyone's conversations in the walkway and rooms next to you. Guests walking to their room can be heard rolling their suitcases and the maids yell back and forth to each other early in the morning.Check out is it 11:00 but the maid was knocking on the door before 11:00 wanting to clean the room. The door to our room was clearly damaged from someone from the outside trying to get in. The security lock had been pulled off and reattached onto the door and molding. The door molding/jamb was coming off the wall and there was no attempt to cover any of the holes or damage that was previously done.

Great location and clean rooms. Friendly staff. The housekeeping staff may be too friendly because they stood out in the hallway and talked interrupting my sleep. The rooms are not carpeted and the hallways are wood planks so this is a very noisy hotel. You can hear conversations, people going to the bathroom, and the toilet flushing in your neighboring rooms. It's also right off of the main road so there is a lot of road noise. Bring your earplugs.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. Great location convenient to skiing, shopping, coffee shops and eating out. Great breakfast in the "Hangout" breakfast bar.Walkability: Ketchum is a small town, and we enjoy walking to nearby attractions.

Great location. Very comfortable beds and rooms. This is an older hotel that has recently received a makeover so it feels newer. Hot tub was delightful - they even had heat strips to stand on next to it while you are drying off. Hot breakfast was excellent! Wish the hangout room was open later so we could make use of the shuffleboard...

Stayed here for a work trip. Nice rooms and ski town style with doors facing outside. Hardwood floors, so not the warmest feel. Near lots of good food and bar spots. Good free breakfast. Good spot, but would look around next time to see what other options are around for similar price.

Have to say, pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is a wonderful example of a GREAT remodel-- comfortable, hip design and they have some good marketing folks creating lots of swag. Loved it. Did dock one star because the check in desk was not staffed and it took 15 mins to check in at ~7p.m. Tough to staff right now, we get it! However good, professional staff members.

Our room was ready for us when we arrived. It was very tidy and clean. Very cute hotel! Staff was super nice and friendly! The heated pool and hot tub were clean every time we went to them, which was quite frequent. We made a reservation at Barrio75 that is right next to the hotel and it was delicious. This was our first time up here in the sun valley area and it was an amazing experience. We definitely will be coming back to stay here again!!

A comfortable, clean, high-value stay experience with fair and reasonable rates. This boutique hotel provides a consistently remarkable stay experience with an excellent complimentary continental-style breakfast and ample, comfortable common areas to sit, relax, explore, or even get some off-site work done with your laptop. Offering standard amenities such as a fitness room, a pool, and a hottub, it's a home away from home jumping off spot for exploring and experiencing the many offerings of Sun Valley and beyond.

Great location. Warm, welcoming, helpful staff, delicious and ample complimentary breakfast.Just a tip for anyone with neck or shoulder issues; the pillows are quite thick, and do not facilitate easy comfort. Best to travel with your own pillow when staying at The Hotel Ketchum.

Had a nice 3 night stay at Hotel Ketchum. It is conveniently located to walk to all the restaurants and shops in town. The aesthetic of the hotel is super cute with a fun vintage vibe. The staff at the front desk and super warm and friendly. It is a great value for the area!A few cons: It can be a bit noisy if you are not on the top level, we were able to hear the person above us all through the night. Additionally, the gentleman in The Hangout was not friendly to guests and another hotel worker which kind of dampened the morning mood.I would still recommend Hotel Ketchum if you are looking for a casual property in a fantastic location.

We traveled to sun valley from Ontario oregon to have a hip replacement for our two year old Rottweiler. Hotel Ketchum and staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was pet friendly of course but u would never know it due to how very clean it was. I've had "pet friendly " rooms at other hotels that smell so bad we couldn't stay. Thank you hotel Ketchum for making this bad experience a lot more tolerable. Keep up the amazing work!

Really great hotel located very centrally in Ketchum. We really enjoyed our stay in the snow- the area is incredibly beautiful and the rooms were very well appointed. Our balcony was great with a view of the snow covered mountains. The only downside that we had was the very thin walls that others have pointed out. We could hear just about every word that our neighbor was saying. It didn t bother us too much, however if we were there for more than the 1 night we stayed, it would probably become bothersome. Overall, great stay though and would stay there again when in the area.

We stayed in a king suite with mountain views on the top floor. The view was beautiful with lots of windows, making the room feel open and bright. The bed was comfortable and the blackout window shades are fantastic-wish all hotels had them. There is a lot of road noise from traffic outside, so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. The modern decor is nice, but the vinyl plank flooring is pulling up at the seams. Also, the "walk-in" shower is too small to not be enclosed, so water puddles a bit on the bathroom floor. Except for these minor complaints, this is a great place to stay. The hotel is right in the middle of town, so we walked to all the shops and restaurants. It was so easy to walk to and from the hotel throughout the day. We'd definitely stay here again.

I d give them negative stars if I could we didn t actual get to stay at this place, but we won t ever, ever, ever recommend this hotel to any of our family in Idaho OR our friends in LA and I suggest you do the same if you re in the sun valley area. Last Sunday my husbands father died rather unexpectedly. We had planned a stay at this hotel next week, but like I said, with a death in the family, we had to cancel due to our obligations and services. We booked through Expedia- we contacted them and the nice folks at Expedia told us to contact the hotel and provide an obituary. We did that. Hotel Ketchum said too bad . Expedia tried to help said there s a chance, so clearly this is a possible ask with hotels not with hotel Ketchum. Not even with proof of death.I m cannot for the life of me understand how heartless the people at Hotel Ketchum are. At Christmas. When they are not fully booked per their availability page, so they re getting our money for nothing. We just lost a family member at Christmas and now to add to it, this place is taking our $1200. Not even a partial refund. Nothing.I suggest you don t give your money to a place that just doesn t care and one can only reasonably think that this kind of poor customer service extends to when you stay with them.I understand policies, but they could ve done the right thing, here, especially when they re not fully booked.Go anywhere else.

I accidentally came into the Ketchum Hotel. I had actually made a last minute reservation at the Tamarack Hotel for the wrong date & it was under remodel (their sister hotel) Long story short, Tanner went above and beyond to find and cancel our accidental prior reservation & found us a great room for the night. Very much appreciated when arriving at 9 PM. Thank you :)

This was a beautiful place to stay. We stayed the weekend, and enjoyed EVERYTHING about it. The room was comfortable and very clean. We liked the shampoo, conditioner and body wash"dispenser" in the shower, and the soap and lotion on the sink smelled refreshing. The view out the window was serene, and when you go out the door on to the walkway that view of bald mountain was magnificent! The gals at the front desk were sweet and knowledgeable, and the fellow in the bar Hangout was equally as nice. The breakfast selection was simple, but enjoyable; breads, fruit juices, coffee, eggs... Yummy. We could have brought our dog, but at the last minute decided not to, but he would have been happy there too. We didn't get over to the pool, but we will next time. :-) It's on the perfect street just off of the downtown area, close enough to walk to many things, but not too close to hear any downtown noise. Try it... EWE will love it too!!

Rooms were nice modern and clean.Extremely noisy rooms. Sounded like a pack of kids bouncing on the beds above us for two days. Art work on the walls always rattling from footsteps.Housekeeping carts are super loud. After 3 days of 0 housekeeping I called for fresh towels and coffee replacements and was informed during covid they couldn't enter the rooms. That would have been nice to have been told upon check in.Not impressed with the service. Really thought it would be better service for the price paid.

Hotel Ketchum was the perfect location in town close enough to walk everywhere. The staff was really nice and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The room was updated and nice and clean but nothing too fancy. Pool and hot tub are great to relax. Would definitely return.

Best stay ever. Quirky digs, gorgeous views, perfectly located so everything was walkable. If we had to guess, the building was formerly some generic underperforming hotel that someone bought and renovated with just the right touches to make it almost perfect. We commandeered a plastic sheep to guard our front door. Love that they hired a band for a well-attended nighttime outdoor courtyard performance. We loved ending our typical long and tiring days in their club room, drinking and playing shuffleboard.

This hotel is a restored motel. That's not a bad thing! There are great amenities here. They have guest laundry, a restaurant, a fully set of bath soaps, and really great heating. You also can get a great view of the mountains from your room if you choose well. Overall, this is great!

This was our second stay at Hotel Ketchum. For what we paid, I wish we would have chosen the Limelight, which I hate to say. This hotel s COVID operations are a little different and important to note when booking. Your room will not be cleaned during your entire stay. I had to bag up our trash, sheets, towels, etc. and request that new items (including toilet paper) be placed outside of the door. For over $300 a night that can be a tough pill to swallow for some. Room location is important as the old bones can lead to lots of noise. We opted to stay in the Baldy King Suite. The road noise was considerable.Breakfast coupons are provided for the on-site coffee shop/eatery. Each is good for $5 off. While cute, It was hit or miss. Some days we were greeted by who I assume was the owner and he was kind and welcoming. Those days food arrived quickly. The days that he was not there were the misses. The two girls running the cafe were indifferent and generally annoyed that we were there. It took 45 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese. Our last morning we walked in at 11am and the girl at the counter simply said kitchen s closed and walked away.I want to be understanding and sympathetic to the realities of our current world especially given that I m a small business owner in a resort town myself. But as I drove away with my super pricey 7-night stay receipt in my hand, it felt right to leave an honest review of my experience at Hotel Ketchum.

I didn't feel like it was at all as advertised.*Dog friendly-but no where to "walk" ones dog.*"Breakfast" "Sweet rolls" Don't you believe it! They don't provide "breakfast" at all on Sunday.*My handicapped accessible room didn't have safety bars by the commode or in the shower.
