Very cute KOA. The pool was nice, and the cabins were quaint. Grocery shopping and restaurants are close. Make sure to prepare for outdoor fun! Bicycling, hiking, rafting, and floating are all within 5-10 minutes away. You will be slightly "off the grid," and there are no fast food restaurants or commonly known stores, but you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful family place. Something for everyone. Just across the road from the Heart of the Monster nature preserve and hiking area and the beautiful Clearwater river. Clean and roomy showers, and they have whole bunch of washers and dryers so you can bust out all your laundry in one quick go while the kids play in the pool, or play in the playground,or feed the ducks at the duck pond. It s truly the perfect place to stay.

This KOA campground was the worst place we ve stayed in our 15 years of traveling. It s really too bad because there is so much to see and do in this area. It really is a beautiful area. There were a good 20 trailers that look like they ve been there for 20 years. Junk in the yard piled high, bumper stickers that included the F word, loud partying until 1am, kids playing in the playground unsupervised and those are just a few of the things. In back of the adjoining hotel/resort was junk piled high with cars that were partly taken apart. We did not venture out to the large building at the back of the camp ground. It looked like was an abandoned building. I literally could not go for a walk in the evening without my husband because I felt unsafe. You can tell that this is a place where a lot of people are living that are one step up from being homeless. I m not trying to talk bad about them. It is really up to the campground to tell them to clean up around themselves. My biggest question is why would K0A give this campground their name without checking it out. There were also no rules for the 40 or 50 motorcycles that were there for the weekend. They came in and out at all hours of the day and night and ripped down the road making as much noise as they possibly could. When I fell asleep at one they were still coming and going. I do understand that they have a right to stay any place they want. But they could lay some ground rules down. To me it appeared that whether you were in the campground, the motel or the cabins it didn t matter no one was over seeing anything.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The deluxe cabin I stayed in was very clean and well-equipped. The kitchenette included everything needed to cook basic meals (including plates and utensils), and the AC was like an oasis in the July heat. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay after motorcycling Highway 12.

Night shift young fellow checked us in and walked away to a party. Went to our site and it was blocked in by cars and trucks. No way to back in my 34 foot camper. Other campers were asleep so not able to move anything. Spent the night in a parking lot. Manager was good though and refunded our money. Workers are hard to find so I can understand as the whole system is short.

This is a beautiful, resort style campground and RV park. There is an on site restaurant that we found to be a little pricey, but food was good. Kamiah is a lovely town. Fishing in the Clearwater river is accessible just across the road. Great family vacation place.

Pros: great playground, great pond with fountain and ducks, nice policy allows free borrowing DVDs, and normal doorknobs on the kabins.Cons: the kabin didn't seem very clean: layers of dust on the surfaces especially the miniblinds and other people's lost items remaining. The dog-park had lots of poop in it.

I have family in the area and I am very happy to recommend this motel. They have satellite TV and very clean rooms. The office staff was very friendly and easy to deal with. They were very accommodating by sending a fax for me after hours. I will definitely stay here again.

Was there visiting a friend. There are rooms or cabins or camper spots to choose from. They have a laundry room. Very nice and right across from Clearwater River! Can't beat that! Very shady with lots of trees.

The views in this area are wonderful and the general amenities and staff are certainly there. I personally appreciated the staff and their eagerness to try and help me find solutions to make my time here the best. I would have greater appreciation for better accommodations for handicap accessibility to meet the needs of my entourage though.

Clean, reasonably priced, tight across the Highway from Heart of the Monster, a wonderful historic park with walking paths. Restaurant is closed but there s a food truck with good burgers about a quarter mile west on the other side of the highway.

When we arrive there was no tv working so they gave us 10% off, the discount is the only reason I would give even one star. I stayed in Cabin 6 and it was dusty, there were cobwebs on the bathroom door that I had to actually take down to walk through it. The door stuck badly and almost couldn't close it once it was opened. The worst thing was the chair in the open room/living room, it was so nasty with stains I was afraid to sit on anything. The price was awful considering the way the place looked. I could have traveled 30 more miles and gotten one for half the price that looked better. Since I had already paid they refused to give a refund.

We were coming home from a fantastic trip to Yellowstone park,It was really hot that day,and we were looking for a rv park with a pool. I spotted this place and the other couple we were travelling with agreed to stop for the night. We quickly hooked up our camper units in our assigned spots and headed to the pool for a dunk. We were faced with a dirty, algae, full of floating debris pool that has not seen any type of chlorine in a very long time. I went to the desk and complained and the lady came and looked. She did nothing. You would think that on a major holiday 4th of july you would have your resort in tip top condition especially a 5 star! As we went back to our rvs it was clear the camp site was in dis repair, the garbage cans were over filled, the winter fallout had not been raked ,the place was clearly a dive. We were going to leave, but it was to late to travel to find a overnite spot. I will be contacting the coast to coast resorts as well, there is no way in hell this place is a 5 star resort. My recommendation is to sell and get out of the service industry... its that bad!

We got there late friday night about 930. Our information was in an envelope under late checkins along with a couple other saying the room was open with the key inside? That kind of made me scared about our information and if anyone may have happened to be in it. The towels were frayed at the edges, the blinds were not all there some were missing luckily we got an end room 201 where no one would walk by and see us. The coffee maker blew up everywhere so that didnt work. We ate at Sacajawea cafe and we got a wobbley table so we moved, then my husbands orange juice tasted and smelled like onions? (BO) :( i was wanting the kids to see the peacocks i remember but now there are only chickens :( and we couldn't even see them. We asked for a roll away bed during our stay and there wasn't one placed in our room so our smallest 3 year old had to sleep with my husband and i on a queen sized :( uncomfortable. We looked to see if there were any availability at other places because we had it. But we stuck it out since their were no other availability anywhere else.It was the first time i brought my family to my reunion together like we did..and i felt bad because our motel was the worst. I have to say i will not be going back.Note: Clearwater 12 motel is where all my family stayed and we love it because of continental breakfast and park across the street, and Hearthstone restaurant is really really classy with amazing food. We also ate at pizza factory and it was great pizza and fun for the kids. Games are super expensive up to 5$ for just one session.
