I recently took my F150 to Oswald for some repairs, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Unlike many other shops I've been to, they didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs or parts. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and they took the time to explain everything to me without being pushy.What impressed me the most was their reasonable pricing. I felt like I was getting great value for the services they provided. They completed the repairs in a timely manner and had my truck running smoothly again in no time.Overall, I highly recommend Oswald for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. I'll definitely be returning for any future automotive needs.

Tim was the best! They took care of our problems promptly professionally and went the extra mile to take care of us. They are always well informed and explain things in a no pressure easy to understand method. They are honest and never pressure you into unnecessary repairs and make us feel calm during the stressful process of repairing our car. Thank you Oswald s!

I came in here based on good reviews from previous customers and I can say I am truly dissapointed. I brought my car in and told them I needed a a thourough inspection done to fix an idling problem I had. Not only did the problem get over looked all together but I got charged and arm and a leg for services that didn't even fix the issue. Plus the diagnostic fee which cost 164.00$. Now I am stuck with the issue because I spent money on services that did nothing for me, but make it so I don't have money to fix the actual problem. I will be keeping my business and anyone I am associated with far from this place.

They were fast, friendly, and repairs were reasonable. I knew exactly what I was paying for. The diagnostic also comes with an inspection (includes pics) that indicates if that area is good / needs to be watched, or needs immediate attention. They also include the repair costs if that area needs attention for future repairs. I am super pleased with my experience and they will be my first call for my vehicle repairs.

Awesome people at Oswald's. Not only knowledgeable and friendly, but very honest. I asked for fluid change on my GMC. Most places would have just done them all regardless of need. The showed me the transmission fluid and recommended to not change yet. And, they came in under estimate! Going here for all my auto needs.

I used to trust these guys to work on my vehicle. Now I am very disappointed. They could not detect a problem I had with trucks battery. I asked them to check out the system for my battery was only a year old. Well their mechanic stated that the battery was from 2019, which was wrong, so the battery was bad. I had to take the truck to another place and they found the problem. It was the connectors on the battery cable. Not very happy.Service: Battery

Great service! I had a code popping up on my Jeep and took it in to Oswald s, they kept in touch with me during the day and once finished, provided a very detailed report of what they found. I didn t feel pressured to peruse anything. The communication was top notch! Their staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. I also love that they are local.

Tim was an excellent source of giving me options to have my son s vehicle inspected, 60 point or 91 point, and never tried to persuade me to take the more expensive option. The mechanics did an excellent job of getting numerous repairs done in a timely manner. My son s car was a mess and now it is running smoothly. Oswald Service was recommended to me by a few friends. I tried them out with my Ford Fusion. They found my problem and got it fixed. Wish though I was kept in touch of the time of repair as I had to borrow a friends car. Repair was great and would go there again.

They are honest and very helpful. I had an issue with my tires and they took the time to explain the problem and gave me different options. They've finished with my car really quick at a fair price. No reason to go anywhere else, just go straight to Oswald if you have car p[problems!

I must admit that I was quite leery to begin with as I have always done my own repair work. Turns out that I was very impressed with their troubleshooting techniques and professionalism. They located the issue and repaired it in a very timely manner. Thanks much!

I took my car in with a few problems. I was very satisfied with Oswald s repair. They were very honest and if they found something they would call and explain the situation before they did anything. I was very satisfied with the service I received. I will go back again. I ment to write this review quite awhile ago, but better late than never. Oswalds service charged me $90 just to "look" and screw around with my vehicle, without giving me a diagnosis. They called me while looking at my car just to tell me that they needed to charge me more money to diagnose my vehicle, all because they were having to work harder than expected to diagnose it. Very poor customer service! Not to mention I was never told I was going to be charged for a vehicle diagnosis until I received that seccond phone call. Most auto repair shops will diagnose cars for free! Then give you an estimate for repairs including time and labor. BE AWARE OF HIDDEN FEES before using Oswalds service.Responce to Owners reply: You claim that I did not mention how unfairly I feel I was treated upon my time doing business with Oswalds Service "2 years ago". When Infact I did confront the service desk at that time "2 years ago" when I picked up my car that I was not happy that I was not informed that I would be charged a diagnostic fee. I was told at that time that I still had to pay it. That is why I have given Oswalds service a negative review "2 years later". I have no doubt that you have verry skilled and highly trained technitions and I do not blame them for the poor customer service I recived. I used Oswalds service because It was highly reccomeded by the company I work for. If at that time I brought my vehicle in and had been informed about a diognotic fee I would have been more than happy to pay it. But to have not been informed about a diognotic fee and then to receive a phone call a few hours later saying we need to charge you more for diognotic when you didnt know you were being charged in the first place is not right. It is a very unprofessional. Customers should always be informed about all cost that they will have to pay upon vehicle arrival.

Another excellent experience. Professional, kind, knowledgeable & honest. I took my Subaru in for a particular kind of service, and after taking a look at the vehicle they told me I did not need it. I so appreciate their honesty and most excellent customer service.

This was my third time to visit Oswald s. During my last visit, they recommended two items. I took care of the first item (rear differential fluid changed) & they just finished replacing the gasket on the oil pan. I waited a bit, because it wasn t crucial & I wanted to get some life out of the previous oil change (since oil had to be changed/replacing oil pan gasket). Oswald s finished the job early & I was on my way. I take good care of my car & it s virtually trouble free. I feel confident that Oswald s does quality work. Highly recommend!Service: Oil change

Oswald Service provided me with top quality professional service the entire time my vehicle was in their shop. I was continuously updated and all of my calls and questions were answered in a timely manner. They really went the extra mile to help me out getting my vehicle fixed; from making sure I needed the repairs I asked for, to finding parts, and even cleaning my car. Would recommend! Thanks Josh!

I'm new to Idaho and was recommended I came here when I started having car trouble. Absolutely glad I did! When I first called they were super friendly and helped be get an appointment as soon as possible. The front desk service was also amazing and answered any questions I had and very just overall credibility welcoming and warming. They have a texting and call service, so when my car was looked over they sent me a link to EVERYTHING about my car! It was super helpful! Also when I was working and wasn't able to pick up my car right away, they helped me pay over the phone and I was able to get someone to pick up my car for me. Great service and wonderful people, I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I've taken both of my cars here now and the crew has been nothing short of amazing. I love the absolute transparency in communication, what issues they find, and how they plan to fix them. Along with that they've also given advice on how to keep things in tip top shape to prevent future problems. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The Buick dealer failed me, they misdiagnosed the problem. Wanted to charge me $1600 to fix. Went to Oswalds for a second opinion. They found the real problem. I had Oswald s do a wellness check on our truck and the transfer case and differentials fluid change. As usual, the folks at Oswalds did the work perfectly and any other work they saw as down the road category were identified as that. They are a repair shop that is trustworthy. They have earned my business and loyalty!

I will always take my vehicles to Oswalds. They give you an appointment tell you what it will cost and usually get done the same day. If not they will tell you why and it's usually because there is either a lot of work to be done or the parts weren't there when they were supposed be. There is never a lot of cars in their lot because they get them done. Thought I would try these guys out based on good reviews. Did transmission fluid replacement and had brakes bled. They overfilled my transmission fluid by over 2 quarts. Glad I checked it myself after service from them. Had to manually extract the fluid myself. Sorely disappointed.

I can t say enough about the staff at this place! Super friendly and welcoming. They answered my questions with easy to understand explanations. I was also surprised to see the full checkup they ran on the car - alerting me to things that may need attention but in no way pushing the service on me so I m free to make that choice on my own. I respect that. This was my first visit with them but it will not be my last!Services: Tires, Oil change
