The team at Bergeman and Son's performed excellent work at a very fair price. I needed to have axle bearings removed and new bearings installed. Kendall fit me in and within one day my work was done. I inspected the work and found no flaws. A friendly and professional shop.

Always fair!!! Kendall never treats me like I'm just some "stupid girl" to take advantage of. He gives it to me straight with an honest quote, which most of the time is higher than what is actually charged. I do not take my vehicles anywhere but Bergmann's and highly recommend them to everyone!!!

They did some significant things to cause me serious issues... but they also took significant action to help fix the problems. I know that's vague--but I feel like the owner strives to be principled in running the business and I respect that but is also struggling because of multiple variables.

Second time taking car here, will be my go-to place when in Idaho Falls. I expected a $600+ for radiator leak but was charged for a repair less than $400.! Took car in on Friday, done mid Monday, two days sooner than expected. Kendall, cares about his clients, a hard worker, and dying breed, he could of lied and claimed it actual radiator leak but didn't. He and his shop are a reminder of the auto shops back in the day when people had work ethic and integrity. Kendall's my man.

Hey I hope this finds/helps the right people.I brought my 1996 Toyota Tacoma V6 in because of a misfire on cylinder 3. I had just moved to Idaho Falls and was not familiar with the different auto repair shops. Ultimately they were unable to diagnose why my engine was misfiring but they did make up reasons, install parts that were unnecessary and unrequested without informing me, and install incorrect parts. They ended up charging me about $300 and didn't give me any answers or fix anything.When I dropped off my truck I requested that they do a compression test, a leak down test, a fuel pressure test, and a injector test. I told them I had already ruled out coil packs. I asked that they call me before they install any parts. They seemed very nice and I felt good about it. A week later they had not called me a single time and I came back to the shop expecting that they would have the results of the tests I requested or possibly hadn't gotten to my truck yet.Unfortunately, they had just gone ahead and installed the new parts that I did not request or okay. They did not call me beforehand and couldn't explain why they had replaced these parts without actually determining that the old ones were faulty.They replaced the coil pack even though the one that was in it was fine. I had already moved them around between cylinders to make sure that that was not the issue. They had also installed the fuel filter and told me that I had pumped some bad gas. (With water in it. They actually gave me a "sample" of the gas that has water in it.)I left that shop and 2 days later I took my truck to Harris garage in American Falls Idaho. I asked Harris garage to test my fuel. They did not find any water in the fuel. I then discovered that the fuel filter they installed wasn't the correct one for my truck and that they had not secured it to the frame rail. I asked to get my old coil pack back because it was an OEM Toyota one that was in good condition. They had thrown it away.Jerry's also told me that my compression was low on cylinder 3 (they didn't provide me with an actual compression number) but then Harris garage definitively ruled that out. It is my opinion that Jerry's literally just made up compression numbers. This is because they told me that the good cylinders (1 and 5) were way too good for the mileage of the motor and that cylinder 3 was very low when it was not in reality. Essentially everything they did was unbased and incorrect.I am disappointed by their workmanship, honesty, and communication.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

must say, my family was in a rut, and I called at least 5 other companies in Idaho falls. I finally came across Jerry Bergemana & Son's, other companies couldn't fit us in for up to a week, I explained my situation to the owner Kendal, he was on it and fit us in the next day. Their service was awesome, he was a very nice guy who really cares about his customer's, he's about doing great work but is also a great person and not just a business man. The work was done great and their service was great. I appreciate you guy's more then you will ever know. Thank you all for getting us back on the road safely.Service: Exhaust

They were recommended by a friend and I have been completely satisfied. They are happy to help and hard working. I was so pleased with the work they did the first time that I didn't even wait a week to get a second vehicle to them for some work that needed done. I'm very impressed with their efforts to take care of their customers at a fair price.

I took my van in with a very complicated problem, that left the dealership completely perplexed and unable to solve. Let's just put it this way, no computer diagnostic was going to figure it out. Anyway, these guys ended up having the car for quite a while, but they did figure it out, and fix it. I've had my van back almost a year, and it has been very dependable. I'm having some issues with another one of my vehicles, and I know just were to take it.

Highly recommend due to being honest and fair. We had a suspected issue with a vehicle. We dropped off the vehicle and told him to give us a call with a recommendation and a cost to fix the susposed issue. After they had a good look at the car and they told us that everything looked great, but needed a very inexpensive fix.I highly recommend.

Got hit with a check engine light, and limp mode on the way to work. The guys at the shop treated me great. Quick turn around, and great prices. First place I'd go back to next time I have car issues.

We we're in a real bind. We are in our small motorhome and trying to get back to Michigan for my brother's Memorial when our air conditioning went out.Every other place in town that we checked with told us they couldn't get to us until mid-August, but Kendall fit us in the next day. Aside from being a truly good human being, his shop is professional and his services priced fairly. The mechanics are honest and competent.If I could give this business 10 stars, I would. My car had an electrical issue which caused it to shut down randomly, and not turn on unless the computer was cleared with an OBD thing. Gave them the car to fix, they charged me near $560 or so, and said it was fixed. I was out of the state so I had my friend go pick it up. My friend reported that as it was turning over he heard an unusual rumbling sound, but it ultimately wasn't starting (they said they replace a spark coil and coil module...and with out telling or consulting with me first). Didn't call back till a month later or so and they claimed to be replacing some sensors. Regardless, as I picked it up and drove off it shut down again. Meaning they didn't fix squat, and only fixed something so they could make money off me. While they might be good when they know what the problem is, they aren't honest or good when they don't know what the problem is, but will still try to take your money.

We were driving through at 3pm and our check engine light came on - other shops closing at 5pm wouldn t even take a look. Thank goodness we found these guys! Spark plug replaced at a great price and back on the road in an hour.

Exceptional customer service! Kendall cares about his customers. He s honest and efficient. He was able to get us in and fix our air conditioning on a moment s notice. We could not be happier with his service and price. Bonus- He gave our dogs jerky treats!

Traveling thru Idaho Falls from out of state with a leaking rear pinion seal, they fit me in immediately and had me back on the road right away and price was very reasonable too.

Great, friendly service!! We were traveling when we ran into trouble. This crew got us right in (ona busy holiday weekend) and got us running again in no time. There is a nice clean waiting room and bathroom. Great prices too. Highly recommend them.

Great service, great value! They performed a pre-purchase inspection on a 1969 Corvette. They did a fantastic job, far more detailed than I expected, and took the time to go over the report with me, including estimates of repairs. They take great care of our Fleet of diesel pickups. Great prompt service, friendly staff, very knowledgeable. If they don't know the right after they know the people that do. Highly recommend these guys they do a fantastic job.

Amazing service. We were road tripping through when our van/camper refused to start. They fit us in on a Friday afternoon, saving us from a stranded weekend. Very fair prices, honest service and solved the whole problem within a few hours.

Brought them my broken down ford that I thought was on its last limb, and they managed to get it running fantastic again at a very modest price! He promised warranty on all service he did, and I plan on bringing all future work to these guys. Thanks Kendall!

Was in town from Nebraska on vacation. I ended up with a broken rear wheel bearing. They got my vehicle in and repaired the same day. They were extremely helpful and the price for everything was lower than I expected. Would definitely recommend these guys.

From out of town and my truck broke down. Ended up here based off internet reviews. They went out of their way to get me back up and running and charged a fair price when they could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me a lot more. Fair and honest. I highly recommend them!

I'd give Jerry Bergeman & Sons ten stars if that were possible. Once I found them, I never went back to another repair shop. They keep my seasoned vehicles going through all sorts of Idaho weather and terrain. Reliability is what I need from vehicles and auto repair, and Jerry Bergeman & Sons provides that consistently.
