GO ANYWHERE ELSE!Took my pickup here to get a hitch and wiring harness installed so I could tow a trailer to AK for my move. I had taken it to a mechanic who recommended this place, because they said it may require custom work. I told this to Eagle Rock and explained I lived three hours away, so while I m here ordering the parts, they might want to take a peek and see what they re working with. They didn t. They assured me they got it covered and gave me a quote, making me put 20% down. I get out there the next week, spent $100 on a tank of gas, only to get there and have them tell me nearly immediately that the hitch won t fit past the custom bumper. They d have to cut and weld for it to fit, or replace the bumper, an extra $250 +labor. I said I can t afford that and I don t have time to get a new bumper today, I have to get back home and work the next morning. Now I don t have time to bring the trailer to AK and have to change my plans significantly. They were aware that I m moving at the end of the month and that I work at a ranch where I don t make much money. Yet still, they are making me pay a ridiculous restocking fee on the hitch all because the owner (I think Adam) was too lazy to get out of his seat or send a tech to look at my truck when I first brought it in. Highway robbery! The techs are cool though, they seem like solid guys. Dre, Gerry, and the other guy thank you. You could see the sadness and disappointment in their eyes at me getting screwed, particularly when Adam refused to wave the restocking fee, an extra $50 so they can keep the hitch they couldn t install and sell it to another sucker...I m 25 and work with my hands every day. It doesn t pay much, and I just had to fork over $300 for a simple wiring harness they included the labor charge for taking apart the bumper and putting it back in. The greed is sickening. $50 for a big company, who is surely not going to send that hitch back, guaranteed it s going to sit on their shelves, so they won t even lose that $50 to ship it back whereas $50 to me is significant, I just threw away half a tank of gas, or food on the road to get me through Canada. It would be different if I hadn t suggested they look at it before we order the parts, but they refused with confidence, and now I have to pay the price for the poor service? Cruel. They also told me the 20% down was to cover if I didn t show (literally, explaining it as a restocking fee for having to ship back the parts), then they hit me with an additional restocking fee? What did I put 20% down for then? They kept that too.I know Idaho is better than this. I ve met the good ones. They d be ashamed of Eagle Rock s management. If you need automotive work done, check out Wally s in Ammon. They are incredible there and the owner is a good family man, he does right by his customers. Very happy to spend my money with that man and his skillful crew. Very unhappy I wasted my time and money at Eagle Rock. They ve had a few days to refund me or give me a call and they haven t even reached out, so here s my review fellas! With every ounce of sarcasm I can muster - thanks

Not to many truck or RV repair shops where we were In Wyoming. Thankfully we were given Eagle Rocks number. We do have an older RV. These people did everything in their power to find a part that we needed, with no luck. Going to have something custom made.Everyone here was very nice and helpful. Even let us use the company truck. This place is busy busy. People in and out all day it seems. I know because we were in their lot for 4 full days. I can't be anymore appreciative of everyone concerned. Thank you so much. It was a pleasure doing business with you all.

We were on the road and sprung a leak in the propane line to the refrigerator. A possible disaster. Adam got us right in and we were back on the road within 2 hours. Fantastic service and everyone was helpful. Technician Gary was fast, friendly and proficient. Highly respectful people. They called me sir with every interaction. Also the cost was very fair! We highly recommend them

Super helpful shop. I was just passing through on our way to Yellowstone when I noticed one of my newer tires worn badly. I assumed bent axle. I dropped by, they looked at it immediately and gave me all the measurements I needed and several recommendations as to where I may be able to get one in stock. Highly recommend. If I m ever back in the area and need anything I know who to call.

I was pulling an Econ travel trailer heading for Idaho Falls from Twin Falls when, 22 miles out of Idaho Falls, the driver's side tire on the trailer came off. I had AAA towing and the driver from the towing company suggested we take it to Eagle Rock RV Service Center for repairs. When we arrived there, the service center was closed but the manager was still there and helped us unload it from the truck with their forklift. Josh, the service manager, said it looked like it would need a new axle and they would have to order it from Utah overnight. The next morning we met John, the owner, who brought us up to date on everything. Being from California, I was not used to the feeling of wellbeing and honesty I recieved from John and Josh. John said they would have us back on the road again by the next day and that they found an axle locally. He had us back on the road the very next day and everything was working great, including the refrigerator which was kept level and working throughout the repair time.I would recommend John, Josh, and the rest of the crew to anyone needing assistance on there equipment. Thanks John

I cannot say enough good things about Eagle Rock, they have come through when we needed it most and was very reasonable in price. We had several little things going on with our travel trailer and they were able to get it all done in a timely manner. Thank you!

Be careful using Eagle RockI bought a used motorhome they told us they had checked everything and everything worked. First night it rained the window leaked the the place was flooded when they fixed it they left silicone all down the side. The hot water heater did not work the pump did not work the air conditioner did not work .and many more things the sameFive thousand dollars later we are finally able to enjoy it.

Thank you to Steve and the Team atEagle Rock RV Service Center!I had a fuel tank leak on my 86 Volkswagen Westfalia Van while driving across Grand Teton Mountain, WY. We called ahead and talked with the GM Steve who was professional and friendly and told us to bring it right in.They diagnosed the issue and also pointed out some future issues to look out for. Steve explained the work to be done plus a time frame the work should be completed. Steve even found and fairly priced hotel to stay the night in within walking distance while our Van was being worked on.We highly recommend Eagle Rock RV Service CenterFor your RV, Diesel, or hitch repairs. The owner is a 20+ years retired Naval Master Chief. Their honest, knowledgeable, fair, and provide quick service. Go ahead and drop in or give them a call.

I gave Eagle Rock RV a long, detailed list of work I needed done to my camper. They thoroughly and efficiently completed each task with great care. My final bill was very reasonable considering the amount and quality of work done by the Eagle Rock team. I strongly recommend Eagle Rock's services.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning, BatteryServices: Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning, Battery

The team at Eagle Rock are straight shooters and properly helped me over the phone with some troubleshooting steps before I made a long drive in for a heater and electrical system repair. They fit me in quickly and performed all work as specified and at a fair price! Two thumbs up.Services: Electrical, Air conditioningServices: Electrical, Air conditioning

OBVIOUS INCOMPETENCEBack in 2021, the air suspension system on my High-end motorhome was no longer manually or automatically leveling so I talked to Adam at Eagle Rock rv to inquire about repair. He assured me they had qualified people to fix it, so after outlining problem, history and recommended factory diagnostic procedures, I left it there for repair.(Now, in defense, they respond with lies. For instance, there never were any electrical wiring diagrams.)After many, many months, lots of frustration, thousands of dollars spent on expensive, unnecessary parts & excess hours charged, they were still unable to properly diagnose or repair problem so I began searching for a more qualified RV technician and fortunately found one locally who said "if I can't fix it there will be no charge".They were able to quickly diagnose & repair problem. All this time motorhome has been unusable, costing me two winter vacations. Also, I feel when it was in Eagle Rock's possession, it sustained substantial body damage ($3-$4000) damage probably because they were moving it around a lot trying to come up with more expensive parts and labor even though they refused to acknowledge it wasn't working. They also denied any responsibility. So, in conclusion, It is so refreshing to find someone capable & fair, unlike Eagle Rock!

Not everything went well. We made an appointment, and dropped the RV off to have service done. Came back the following Monday to find the RV parked in their lot with no shore and the refrigerator warmed up. We lost some meat (about $100 worth) They were apologetic, and kept it plugged in for the remainder of a 2 week ordeal (too many RVs, not enough RV Techs typical for 2022). After all was done (except for a windshield that takes time to arrive and air conditioners that were back ordered we have a new appointment), the bill was lower than I thought it would be. Not a perfect experience, but better than most out there.

This business does poor work and charges astronomically high prices. They repacked 4 wheel bearings and did some very minor repairs and charged me over $500. All of the interior repairs failed on our first trip and will have to be repairs by someone else. Steer clear of this business if my experience is at all representative of the quality and cost of repairs.

Dropped a transmission on our '09 Ford E450 on our way through town. The lengths that the Eagle Rock crew went to help us were extraordinary. I've never dealt with an auto/RV shop that would go as far out of their way to help. Friendly, courteous, professional, and they think outside the box for solutions. Highly, highly recommend and will definitely bring my Ford here again. THANK YOU, guys.Service: Transmission

We rented an RV in Florida and were in Yellowstone when the brakes started squealing badly on the way home. We called around the area and no one would even inspect the brakes for days. Greg the owner of Eagle Rock was kind enough to service us quickly so that we could continue our journey as soon as possible. They are very busy and he had to suspend an existing job and pull an RV out in order to service ours.Considering we were traveling with my 94 year old mother in law and my crazy dog it was an extremely nice gesture.Greg, his wife, Reese, Larry and all the staff were super nice. The atmosphere at the business is family friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!

As a full-time traveller, it is imperative to find a trustworthy RV service shop while on the road. I found Eagle Rock RV Service Center through the Spartan Authorized Service Center search and I am so thankful we did. We took our 40' MH DP in for a brake inspection and hub oil change. The service manager, Scott, got us right in the day we arrived and set us up with power. I met the new owner, Greg, who was extremely nice and was even helping out in the shop. They provided us a lounge, let us bring our fur babies in to sit with us, and fixed all of our maintenance issues. They even cleaned our headlights, making them look brand new, at no additional cost. Their techs were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. Greg/Scott know how to treat their customers and we will definitely be return customers if we are in the area again. Good job Eagle RV Service Center!!

Traveling through Yellowstone from Pennsylvania and our RV windshield almost fell off. I called numerous auto glass dealers and RV repair shops and none would even look at the problem. Greg (the owner) said to come right in. The two hour drive was worth it as he had us back on the road in no time, not permanently repaired but able to continue our vacation safely without losing lots of time in a shop. Rates were a fraction of what I expected. Polite, fast, comfortable waiting room. I hope I never need to get emergency service again but if I do I hope it s close to Eagle Rock!

My wife and I have a Class A motorhome that recently needed the drag link (part of the suspension) replaced. It also needed a front end alignment. We made an appointment with Scott, with a plan to try to get the repairs completed in one day. Since we live 80 miles away, we were hoping to make this a one day, one trip repair. They completed the repairs on the same day, and did a really great job. Their technician, Tim, went the extra mile to get the alignment exactly right. He did a super job! Our 2017 Winnebago hasn't driven this well since we bought it new. While the owner, John Henry, was on a short vacation, Scott and Tim provided the same high quality service we have come to expect from Eagle Rock RV. Thanks for a great job!

Used this shop to do an alignment. While in their hands they damaged my refrigerator. I have driven my motorhome across country without the refrigerator door opening, yet somehow while in their possession their driver not only had the refrigerator door fly open, but did it hard enough to dent the door against the fireplace mantel. Mind you, in order to hit the mantel, it had to slam past the recliners that it would run into with slideouts closed. Now, its one thing to damage my coach that is only 8 months old, but it s another thing to not do the right thing. This company acknowledges that their tech drove my Motorhome recklessly enough for the door to fly open, breaking an egg that flew out, and other products that flew out, but refuses to do anything about it. They also had the audacity to tell me that while the door flew open, they didn t cause the obvious damage to my coaches refrigerator door.If I damage someone someones stuff you know what I do? I take care of it. This company? Nope. If you want your prized possession taken care of while having repairs done, avoid this company at all costs. Not only are they reckless with your RV, they aren t honorable in doing the right thing. Unreal how people can get away with treating customers these days.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Before I brought my motorhome here I only had a minor leak in a window that I noticed when it was washed, come to find out later it was only leaking from water being sprayed into the drain on the bottom of window seal. So anyway I Brought it in here to have a window sealed. I was told that I needed the roof sealed, water heater needed anode, new slide motors and a few other things. So 6000 dollars later we pull out of there and within a week it rains and there is a leak above the windshield somewhere that Flood s the dash. The slide motors stop working, the water heater is making loud unusual sounds. When I call eagle rock the girl that answers the phone is very rude and not helpful. We decide to go somewhere else. We then find out from the new place we brought it to that the roof was not sealed completely only around a couple vents, the slide motors are the original ones, and our water heater is aluminum and doesn t use an anode and the one that was forced into it stripped out the threads where the plug goes, they used white Teflon tape to connect the gas lines to the propane tank which caused it to leak. So to fix everything would be close to 6000 dollars. New slide motors that were never replaced, new water heater that was damaged by putting anode into it, roof properly sealed, gas lines taken apart and put on proper tape on all connections. The owner Greg at Eagle Rock seemed nice but I knew right away something was wrong he was just too nice and came off kinda slimy like a stereotypical used car salesmen selling you a car with no tires. We are now in the process of gathering all documents from warranty company along with Eagle Rock and new rv repair shop along with before and after photos to show who did what and when so that I have everything in order to take them to court. What a waste of time and money this has been. These people should be shut down.

These guys did an amazing job on my LQ Horse Trailer. There were a couple items needing fix and some things I wanted upgraded. They kept me informed every step of the way and explained every step to me so that I could understand how things work.

This place is the pits. They accepted the job to install a wiring harness to make the Auto Gen Start on our Onan generator work, worked on it for 3 days and said it was done, then charged >$1,700+, but never even checked their work. I DID... IT DIDNT WORK! I should not have trusted them with ANY payment until I made them show me it was done right. As a Cummins Onan Authorized Service Center they have no clue how to repair or do Onan installs. Today is the 6th day and they stillhaven't called to update us on the fix.GIVE THEM ANY RV WORK AT YOUR OWN RISK! Adam Smith, the Service Mgr. couldn't understand why we were upset with them, claiming that "THEY GOT IT 90% (actually more like 75%) CORRECT" since supposedly ONLY the A/Cs weren't working", he said... not considering that such was the main reason for us wanting to add the Auto Gen Start. These folks have no concept of Customer Care, and Greg Duenes, the Store Mgr/Owner would not even come out to talk to us despite seeing us upset with his Service Manager as we were. It would not surprise us if they get their friends & relatives to post good reviews and Thank You notes on their website and bulletin board, to make visitors believe that they are good or care about their customers, when all they seem interested in is their $$$. We even submitted a Letter of Complaint with Cummins Onan Product Support and Service Center Info, at Cummins' request, citing issues with Bill's Service and Repair in Loveland, CO, as well.

Adam and John are truly the best people you could ever expect to trust with your stranded RV driving self. I had just spent $2000 in repairs somewhere else and the first thing they did is diagnose my faulty radiator. Feel the left side, now feel the right side- notice anything, lol. They let me stay in the RV parking lot while my radiator was re-cored (actually rented a car and drive to Moab to zipline at Ravens Rim). The entire crew at Eagle Rock was honest, open, and what was even better is how every customer in the lobby loves this place and these guys. This place is the best place to take your RV and I highly recommend them. Trustworthy, very fair and reasonable costs (they could and should charge more) premium care and I miss them already! They got me back in the road and my new radiator works like a dream (1000 miles away and working perfectly still).

The best people I have ever worked with. I ask to grab my RV in the middle of the repairs I wanted fixed, and they totally accommodated me. They didn't even ask for payment for what they had done. True guys, they know your name, they are your "friend", but very genuine. I like companies like this, people like this. Thank you guys for the true farmer/next door type feel.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Brakes

Eagle Rock RV in Idaho Falls was recommended to us by Spartan Chassis to have warranty work done on our Entegra Coach. The service manager Steve kept us notified on the progress Of the work being done as took a couple of days to repair a few items. It took us a 6 hour drive to get to this shop and worth every second. They got us a discount at a very nice hotel a block away and was done with our coach in a timely manner. No leaving it for weeks at a time until they can get to it like Camping world or Bish's RV. They have the best mechanics who take pride in their work. Its worth the drive and we would make that drive again for that kind quality work.

We were vacationing in Yellowstone and found a leak in our travel trailer. I called Eagle Rock and talked with Steve and and made an appointment the next day. We drop our unit off in the morning and explained the problem to Steve. I was immediately impressed with Steve's knowledge of RV's, professionalism and general nice guy.Steve called me a few hours later and informed me that he and his staff found the problem and what he recommended to be done. This included leaving our trailer in his shop over night to let the sealants cure and dry overnight. We stayed in a nice suites hotel around the corner of Eagle Rock and picked up our unit the next morning that Steve recommended.I feel extremely fortunate to find Eagle Rock, Steve and his staff to help us with our problem. He didn't take advantage of a traveler in trouble, treated us fairly and did a great job fixing our unit.Anyone that needs repairs to their RV in the Idaho Fall area, should go to Eagle Rock.We are happy campers.
