I hit a deer in Jackson Hole, WY on a Friday evening on 9/22/2023, 1900 miles from home (Georgia). I called the GMC dealer in Idaho Falls about having my truck towed there for repair. Was told that they did not do body work. They suggested Dan's Collision Repair that they were GMC qualified. I called Dan and he said he would be glad to repair my truck so I had it towed there. I drove to Idaho Falls on the following Monday and talked to Dan. I was very impressed with his repair facility and the fact that he said he would repair it as good as new (truck was only 2 months old). Unfortunately the day I hit the deer, the United Auto Workers went on strike. Dan had trouble getting parts for the repair. He keep in close contact with me on the progress of the repair for the 4 months it took to get the parts and do the repair. I had my truck shipped back to Georgia and upon inspection, it was as good as new. I would highly recommend Dan and his professional staff for any of your repair needs.

We were very impressed with the honesty at Dan's. We took our car in to get a quote to repair a minor scratch on our brand new car. They could have charged us $1000 to "repair" the damage, but instead they took the time to buff it out right then and showed us that it was just paint transfer from the object that hit it. They didn't even charge us for their time. What a great company! We will definitely recommend them and return to them for future repairs.

Insurance has me take my truck here and they were polite, honest, and time efficient. They went above and beyond and call me with repairs that needed to be done that insurance didn t cover and the me the option for them to fix it. Fair prices and good work. Thank you guys for fixing my truck

What was broken was fixed, but something that was fine is now broken (x2)A car slid against the side of my truck in January, I tried for 2 months to go to any body shop besides Dan's, because I had heard of poor experiences. But I had Progressive and Dans was the only place that worked directly with them. So my Progressive agent called with me and they scheduled my appointment.... For 5 months later in August.Fast forward, I take my truck in on the day, I get it back within 2 weeks. And I come to find that the button on my driver door panel that locks and unlocks the ability for passengers to control their windows is loose, still working, but wiggling about.Today I stop by, they take it back. I'm told they wouldn't have had anything to do with it, they'll replace the whole panel of switches for $100. I asked them to put it back in the door so I could go. The button does not work at all now. This whole experience has made me so sad, and frustrated. But it's fine I guess when I want that button to work I'll go pay $100 somewhere. Took a star away for each week the repair got delayed. Wouldn't have been much of an issue normally because usually things are out of their control. However, every time I called the receptionist would tell me the reason, then I'd get a message with a different reason, then the insurance would tell me something else. Seemed like they just squeezing out the insurance as much as possible. Original estimate was around 12k with each delay it would increase a little until it reached 17k. Also got a $50 parking pass taken out of my car which was annoying. When I went to pick up my car they made me sign a paper saying I'd remove things from my car if I didn't want them lost. Maybe they should have people sign it when they drop of the car instead seems way less shady that way.If the car doesn't have any issues for the next 5 months related to the repairs then I'll move my rating up to 4 stars since the repairs appear to be good. Although they do outsource to other companies for portions of the repair that they don't do themselves. Not sure much they actually did themselves.

Josh was extremely helpful, he helped me patch my window temporarily at no charge. I was in the process of traveling across the country and could not afford to stop, a replacement window would not be available for 3-4 days. Great service is hard to find but you'll get it here!

Dans Collision has come to my aid more than once when Lady Luck was not with me on the road. They do everything within their control to make sure you are taken care of in the best possible way. These guys are the best. They were on time and the work looks impeccable. Looks like the wreck never happened. They cleaned the car too. Why go anywhere else?There are repair shops and then there's Dan's Collision Repair.They are the best.

Best body shop in town. Had this car repainted years ago and when a blemish showed up they warrantied it with no issues. They do amazing work.

I had an insurance claim with progressive and ended up at Dan's collision. I have to say that the plastic parts on my car already cracked, but that doesn't reflect on Dan's collision. Over all the car looked very nice upon finish. I have a few other problems to deal with on this vehicle, I believe in my particular case I should have just totaled this one out. It's a 2016 Kia forte. Cheap car but it's costing nearly what I owe on it to fix it. Dan's was the only reason I didn't. Their low costs and superior work made the difference in my mind.

Dan's Collision Repair is a fantastic company! We were very happy with every part of our experience with them. We started off with another auto body company on the other end of town and were very disappointed to the point we switched to Dan's Collision Repair. We were impressed by the thorough estimate that they did. We felt confident that they would fix our vehicle properly. The paint color was a very good match. Their customer service is outstanding and they were very prompt. We would absolutely recommend Dans and are happy we have a reliable auto body shop to take our vehicles to. We have five children and the oldest is 13. We have many years ahead and kids at some point are bound to do damage to our vehicles during there teenage years. Thank you Dan's for an awesome job!

I was on vacation from Texas when a deer decided to run out of the forest and charge into the side of my car. Stranded several thousand miles from home, Dan's expedited my repair and made sure I was able to make it home in a timely manner. Dan s employees were professional from start to finish. I just needed a little work done and it was finished quickly and beautifully. To make it even better, the inside of my car was returned fully detailed. I didn t expect that and it was an appreciated surprise. The front desk lady Teresa is seriously the best. She was so helpful to us. We got rear ended the night before. I had my car towed there. Everytime I called with questions she gave us so much useful information or tried to take action in her own hand to find us a rental. Teresa you were more helpful then dealing with my insurance company. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If I could hug you I would.

I was extremely happy with the service I received from Dan's. The friendly women in the office that got my repairs started and how fast I received my car back. It was very fast and I appreciated the updates through the whole process. I would highly recommend Dan's.

Our experience has been very good every time we have used Dan's. We only use them because our first time was great and every job they have done restored our vehicles back to new condition. We could not be happier over the years with their work. I was pleasantly surprised that my Duramax was also cleaned up inside and out. Love Dan's!

I haven't had 1 but 2 experiences with Dans. Both were exceptional. They were timely with the return of my truck and both times all staff was friendly. I've seen some negative comments over the receptionist but my experiences on both occasions were very pleasant with the lady. She has a hard job communicating with clients, organizing schedules, and dealing with many other chores at hand. Don't ever expect a red carpet treatment from someone who works so hard for you. Dans will always be my first choice in auto repair not because of what I heard, but because of what I experienced.

I usually take a wait and see position before I write any kind of review pro or con. I think the guy's at Dan's went above and beyond in the repair and paint on my wife's car. It had been clobbered before we got it and was not put put back together very well. I think the guy's probably crossed the line a little on how much the insurance would allow. To me that's pride in workmanship and attention to detail. Which is reflected in the impression you get as soon as you walk in the door. It's just plain good business. Hats off to the guy's in the trenches, we couldn't be happier! I wouldn't hesitate to take anything to Dan'sServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Dan's did a great job on the car. That deserves 5 stars. But, they had it for almost a month and it took 2 months to get an appointment. Not to mention, the person at the front desk was a bit rude to my wife when she picked the car up. Because of those things, I can't give them more than 3 stars.

Edited: Left what I first wrote below. I took my car back to Dan s a third time to have them look at the headlights after they called me to see if they were working better. They gave me a check for the $20 that was stolen from my car and all employees were wearing masks this time which I appreciated. However. They looked at my headlights and showed me that they re not turning off because the trunk is misaligned and not closing correctly. I m pretty upset about this because when I took my car to them the first time, there was never any problem with the trunk or the lights turning off. They showed me that I now have to get out of my car, open the trunk and slam it as hard as I can to get the lights to turn off. I don t know if they did something to my trunk or if it got messed with when it was broken into or what but this is very upsetting. I appreciate that they tried to make it right, but something happened to my car while it was in their possession that I never had an issue with previously. Even after the accident I drove it for 3 weeks with no problems while the insurance processed my claim so this is definitely on their end.I took my car here after I was in a car accident. They did work on the drivers door and back door. When I got my car back, my drivers side door wouldn t unlock because the lock would get stuck and I had to open another door to get into my car. They also did something wrong when putting the head lights back in and now my headlights don t turn off when left on the auto option, which ended up killing my battery. Also, no one in the office wears a mask which is super unprofessional during this pandemic. Finally, my car was broken into when it was in their lot and money was taken from my car. They did not offer to reimburse me for this. And they were the ones at fault because they decided to keep my unlocked car in their lot with a open fence due to current construction. I took the car back in and they STILL didn t fix the headlights, but they did fix the lock. I would not recommend this place, go anywhere else and you ll probably receive better quality.Service: Body & Trim

They were very professional and friendly. Their entrance is very nice and the shop itself was so clean and everything in place. I didn't feel I was in a collision repair shop. Everyone was very nice and the young man that washed my car was very helpful to getting my belongings back in the car and the wash job was great too, like everything else.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Dan and his staff are amazing! Very friendly and professional. Their workmanship is topflight. The office and shop are clean and very well maintained. I was in a tight turnaround situation and they bent over backwards to accommodate me. I highly recommend.

They did an amazing job restoring my wife's Escalade back to pre collision condition! They made sure that it ran perfectly and everyone was super helpful and friendly! I was kept informed and they were on time with getting the car back. I was nervous because of all the sensors and computers on this car, but it works like new! Plus they detailed it! I took my truck to Dan s because I know someone who had a vehicle repaired there and recommended them. The ladies in the office were friendly and professional. The repair guys got my truck fixed in a timely manner and on the day they said it would be fixed. It looks great. Thanks guys.

Their customer service and repair quality is top notch! I have had several repairs done at Dan's Collision and every time I have been very pleased with the outcome. Vehicle repairs were completed on time and made my car look brand new again! Thanks again Dan's Collision!
