My daughter took her car here for a power steering leak. They charged $300, the hose was $35+$10 for fluid. Should have taken 30 minutes to swap hoses. That's $255 for labor? That's crazy, would have been so much better if they actually fixed the leak. They replaced a hose that wasn't leaking, had the car for 2 weeks and told her it was fixed. 30 minutes later she has no power steering and it still leaks where it was originally. Had to fix it myself, won't give any money back because they replaced a hose and "fixed it". I want my money back for the labor. At least some of it, would never suggest them to anyone. Unless they are blind it's fairly easy to see the hole.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Brought vehicle in because of engine light with multiple codes. Very honest shop! Some codes were not coming up now but they did the research on what they would cost to fix. Also test drove my car and let me know it was running fine now. They said they could do the work but maybe I should just wait since now the car was running fine. Also had some catalytic converter codes, which they directed me to a exhaust shop if I wanted to get that fixed. They were very professional, easy to talk to and gave great service! Very Honest! Definately reccomend them and will use them in the future.Service: Engine repair

If you want someone to work on your vehicle that you have 100% confidence, it will be fixed and fixed the right way the first time with quality parts and the most honest people. In idaho falls. Then this is the place you want to take your vehicle to be worked on. I don't trust anyone else to work on my vehicles!

Made an appointment almost a month in advance, and called a week in advance to add some small minor fixes. Instead of ordering my parts to make sure they could make the proper repairs they decided to wait til the day of the appointment, they did not make a single repair then expected me to leave my car with them for who knows how long so they could get the parts, even though they knew I had an appointment. Seems completely unprofessional to have my car for most of the day and didn't do a single thing I asked. (I even told them when I made the appointment exactly what was wrong and what I needed them to fix) so long story short, don't waste your time with C&C Durabilt.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical

Excellent place to take your car or truck. Recently had injectors put in my F-250. Diagnostic was fast, repair was quick, price for work and parts was fair and staff was excellent to deal with. They even sqrezed me in even though they were very busy with other jobs. Truck runs better than it has for a long time, couldnt be happier with the end result. They have absolutely earned my business and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends and family to this shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Absolutely great experiences at durabilt had multiple transmissions repaired/replaced here on different vehicles always great customer service very knowledgeable and experienced mechanics that know not only transmissions but whole vehicle maintenance and repair work as well. These guys are the total package they have always made time for my repairs and very quickly gotten to the root of the problem and fixed it sometimes days before I expected it to be competed I currently use them whenever I need something and have two other vehicles scheduled to be repaired here shortly with them

C&C Durabilt replaced the transmission in my 1996 Ford F250 in 2020. The transmission had a 1 year warranty. When I went to pick up the truck it wouldn't go into gear. After adjusting the linkage, I was able to drive it but it shifted very harshly with dramatic clunking and jolting. I returned to the shop immediately and said that there was definitely something wrong. I was told that they had increased the pressure of some system to accommodate plowing (I plow the lot at my printshop - I am not a commercial Plowing co.). I told them I was dissatisfied with the functioning but there was nothing I could do about it and I had already paid. I don't drive the truck often and the next time I used the truck was about a month later to help move a friend's travel trailer from Driggs to Victor (8miles). The truck couldn't make it. The shift lever wouldn't move the transmission between gears (drive reverse park). I had to shut the truck off, crawl under the truck and shift the transmission by hand. I limped home and C&C Durabilt towed the truck to Idaho Falls and said that my shift cable was the cause of the problem. They charged me an additional $500 to repair that. The transmission still shifted hard and has continued to do so for the past 2 years. It is now leaking fluid copiously. It is out of warranty however. Over $3000 spent and only 2 years past, I have to repair the transmission. I am seriously bummed. I would definitely not recommend C&C Durabilt.Service: Transmission repair

Very fair and stand behind their work! Dalton and his team have worked on my truck transmission and transfer case and have rebuilt a Jeep transmission for me. They were very up front about the cost and let me know updates based on what they found. I ve recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so!

They worked on two of my vehicles last year. The first was a full transmission replacement. They walked me through my options and gave me a quote for the replacement. Less than a week later they had the vehicle up and running and for less than the original estimate. The second was a repair job. After quoting the job to replace an assembly of solenoids , I got a call back and was told that the transmission was different than what the book showed and that they'd be able to replace the faulty solenoid instead of the whole assembly for less than what they had originally quoted, but I was also informed that it might be the computer instead. The error codes were inconclusive. We proceeded with the repair, but 4 weeks later had the same problem. Took it in and they replaced the computer and it is running fine. They stood behind their work and didn't bicker with me after I brought the car back in. They just took care of the problem. Two days later I was on the road again. They were very straight forward and honest about the costs and options available. I had gotten quotes from a lot of shops on the first vehicle, and they were right in line with the other quotes. Furthermore, when it was all said and done, the total cost was less than any of the other quotes I had received. They've earned my trust and my future business.

So glad I found Durabilt Transmission. Another shop wanted $2500 for a 'lightly used' transmission installed as is, no rebuilding before putting it in. Durabilt rebuilt my transmission (not sure what exactly they put in) for $850. Runs perfectly and it's been a year ago now that they did the work. Nice job guys!

These guys are awesome. Very knowledgeable and reasonable. Did a diagnostic on the transmission to find out it started as an electrical problem from the dealer. Every other mechanic we brought our truck to couldn't figure the issues out. C and C got it right of the bat.

I have nothing but high regards for these Durabuilt guys. I had a broken transmission in a 1987 Jeep and these guys were able to locate all the parts, repair a damaged case with after markets parts to get this old Jeep running better than new. Randy Cate went above and beyond working through several parts issues as well as being one hell of a honest stand up guy on this repair keeping me informed of the issues and progress. So even with many issues on this old Jeep they came in under what Randy had estimated. These guys are great!

After 3 other "Auto repair facilities" could not determine the issue with my truck, Dura built not only fixed it the same day; saving me from having to get a rental car to drive 2 hours home, they also saved me A LOT of money on needless repairs that were recomended by another shop. They were profesional, knowledgeable, most of all, they were kind and respectful and went above and beyond to help me out! I'll never go to another shop again.

They don't stand behind their work. Paid 2,800 for a transmission replacement. There were no problems with the engine when the vehicle was brought to them. I went to pick up the vehicle and the engine was running rough. Within half a mile, check engine light was on. Returned the vehicle to them, and it spits out several codes to which they claim no responsibility for anything. They are at worst dishonest, and at best negligent.Truth be told, they replaced the transmission, did a test run, and knew about the problems they caused. They decided not to tell me about it, and let me drive up from Salt Lake City to find out. That was a deceptive business tactic. They even had the guts to tell me that I wouldn't have any problem in the future registering the vehicle because auto zone will clear the codes for me.Val, you did the wrong thing and you know it. Now my only option is to seek relief through our legal system. If you are reading this review, please do yourself a favor and don't let these guys touch your car.

Wonderful shop to work with, no games or BS.Several of these guys worked for the Ford dealership, so they know your truck inside and out. I drive from shelley to go there. It's worth it.

They don't stand be hind there work. After paying the 3517.50 for new transmission. It doesn't get me home due to transmission oil all over , from coolant line leak. They want another 206.36. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Fixed my shifter linkage, but grimed up my interior and broke my dashboard. Said they would pay for detail work and fix my dash... Not sure I want to ever go back. Told me later on they can't work on my car anymore. Guess I'm too much trouble. Oh well... My money works just as well elsewhere...

These people are horrible! Crappy work that they don't stand behind. My tranny they rebuilt had issues from day 1, they kept saying it was fine until I just passed the 12,000 miles and the whole tranny burnt up. They won't cover anything even though I know it wasn't right from day 1 because I'm now past "warranty"

when you buy a truck with a rebuilt transmission you would think it would last longer then 43659 miles. But again I was wrong I figured a reputable company would say yeah we did rebuild this and let's find out what happened. I wasn't asking you to repair anything for free or replace for free or do anything for free. I understand parts fail. I was simply stating the facts that the tranny shouldn't of failed at half life. Then when you offered to buy my truck from me with a low ball offer what kind of b.s is that who does that. Kick man when he's down its hunting season and his hunting trucks tranny has failed. What do i do when the shop I took it to tears it apart and the receipt that I have for your build don't match with parts that are there what do I do then ? You didn't even look at it you said you were going to pull the pan to see how much metals was there you couldn't even do that. You just quoted me for a reman and offered to take the truck off my hands pretty much lol. I told you that I wasn't going to fix it because I didn't want you to fix it. I didn't want anything to happen while it sat in front of your shop while I was at work. Good luck with your business this the first time I ever placed a negative review . You were more interested in selling a reman or buying my truck than you were finding out why your product didn't even make it to half of its life expectancy I guess at durabuilt life expectancy is 12000 miles or 12 months then your on your own You can buy a junkyard transmisson with 3 month unlimited mileage for a quarter of the price my transmisson must of been a good one to last as long as it did by your standards I kinda thought that 100000 miles is pretty average for stock 4 l60e and when you charge for all the updates on the rebuild to fix the problems they had in stock form it probably should go a bit longer but again I was wrong I like how all these negative reveiws are cooler lines that duarabuilt didn't notice was rubbingor maybe they misrouted when the rebulid took place theres two lines there to check thats a pretty vital to the operation of a transmission but again it's not durabuilt fault there only hooked to transmission you just rebuilt that must not be part of the transmission what a crock good luck durabuilt transmission I wish you the best
