People were nice enough work is god awful. Thought about bringing the car back to them to make it right but really don t want them touching it. I ll just eat the cost and find another shop to fix this mess. Pics don t even show the cracks in the pipes at the bends. I would be so embarrassed if this left my shop. Couldn t get the exhaust ram how I wanted because it would hang too low but they ran the exhaust 3/4 of an inch from the ground anyway.Service: Exhaust

Would 100% recommendI'll start by saying I was very hesitant to go here because of the mixed reviews of this place. I had heard stories of this shop having amazing service, I've also heard the opposite.They did Header gaskets, new exhaust and cleaned up the leaks.The first go around, only half of the work that needed done was finished. The reason I was given first was they didn't know about the header gaskets needing to be replaced. After I explained that, I was told they couldn't find the correct ones, so I'm not quite sure what actually happened.Another thing was I was quoted $660 or so for just the exhaust as a standalone job. When they finished that was all they did but it was a little over 200$ more then what was quoted on that part, and the gaskets never got touched. The tailpipe was also no where near where I wanted it to be.Not sure on who's end the miscommunication came from I won't solely blame the shop.After going in the next monday and explaining the situation they were johnny on the spot with getting me in and looking at it.After a few hours and some Bertos Breakfast burritos they, Blake and his tech that was helping him, went above and beyond to make it right. It ended up being cheaper then my quote for everything.I'm very very happy with the way it turned out, I absolutely love the way it sounds, the welds are very nice and clean.Overall it was a bit of a rough start but after the way they helped me out I would definitely recommend these guys. They were quite knowledgable and really good and dumbing it down for those that aren't mechanically inclined ;)Thanks guys!

Only shop open on Saturdays. I called Friday and they got me in on Saturday to check out my exhaust. They diagnosed, asked if I was OK to get repair for x-dollars, fixed problem in 1/2 hr. and I was on my way. I wait longer at restaurants for my food. Other mechanics were booked out 2 wks and charged $150 just for the diag. I paid less than that for this repair. If you have an exhaust problem on an older vehicle and need a quick repair. Look no further than Arts. You can listen to 90s rock and enjoy the fish from a nice leather couch.

If you're looking for a place to get work done on your vehicle that's done right the first time and with confidence this is the place for you. Outstanding customer service and just really great people . They may not be the cheapest but trust me it's worth going to this locally owned and operated business they really care about their customers and their employees. Plus I believe they've been in business now for 70+ years, so that says a lot about their honesty, integrity, and abilities. Thank you Arts muffler for always being there for my automotive needs!

I dropped off my jeep for an exhaust system which consisted of 8 feet of pipe, 2 bends, a muffler and a flange. They quoted me $590. I said that was too much for what needed to be done. I researched parts (retail) from 4 suppliers ahead of time. They came back with $480. Still high but I agreed as it was already there. They called me when it was done and said they readjusted the price back to the original quote without ever contacting me. I hauled it home to find some pretty shoddy work including the wrong size pipe and a USED muffler. I dealt with Art's for years before they turned over to this new group. I will NEVER GO BACK !!!!! PS for those wondering, it is a deceptive practice (and illegal) to change a quote without contacting the owner prior. It is also deceptive to install parts as new when they are obviously used. Anyone that has work done by these clowns should have their head examinedService: Exhaust

Empty promises, subpar quality and skill, higher prices, and they don t stand behind their work. They actually made my truck worse (took it back for them to inspect and they acknowledged they put on a faulty part) and refuse to fix it, but are more than willing to charge me to do the job twice. Complete garbage. Boss didn t even have the decency to come talk to me. Makes the secretary run back and forth to negotiate .Not to mention, my welds are better with a basic 120v machine than the ones they put down (will attach pics so I m not talking out my rear) It s pretty sad.Long story short, nothing they re pedaling is worth it.

Scheduled an appointment, showed up and apparently there was no appointment for me. Giving two stars because the guys were nice, but I don t have time for this kind of service.Edit: court??? Why would I show up just to tell you I can t make the appointment? Give me a break, you guys messed up and you start making stories, nice.

Avoid at all costs everyone. Had them fix some leaks, brought all the parts: gaskets and hardware. They quoted me 2 hours to do the work because that s what the book says the job will take . So that s the estimate.. they write it up and get it done in 40 MINUTES. Expected me to pay them for 2 hours of labor. They did not relay that to me. After I left, I checked their work and they didn t use half the hardware I gave them. Didn t bother to GIVE IT BACK. They stole it from me. Also charged me a fee to dispose of half a foot of pipe and didn t bother telling me otherwise I would have taken it. Terrible terrible terrible. I got absolutely screwed. Never waste your time with this business they are not honest. I will gladly come in again if they have any issues with me making this review. UPDATE: my exhaust is leaking again.

These folks are the best. Their prices are fair ( I checked out parts prices online prior to my appt.) They took my car in within 5 minutes of my arrival and had it fixed in @30 min. 4 days later I managed to get car stuck on tall pile of snow covered snow and heard a loud CRUNCH !!! I took it back to Art's immediately. And within 15 minutes I was back on the road with a new muffler hanger. No Charge.4 years ago they replaced a muffler on my van and was impressed with their customer service then but even more so now.

They were able to get me in same day and complete the work in under 2 hours. They fixed an exhaust leak and swapped my factory muffler for a magnaflow. Not the cheapest, but definitely excellent work.

Go somewhere else. It only took 20 minutes to complete the job of replacing a short piece of pipe and they charged an hour labor and $75 for a 6 in piece of pipe. I asked why the hour charge and she said because that s what the book says. Then when you go to pay they charge you more for using a debit card. I was warned by my mechanic I trust very much not to go but I tried it because of a friend. Big mistake! Go anywhere else if you can.Service: Exhaust

They did work on my son's Jeep. On the way home, the driveline fell because they neglected to bolt it in. I was following him, we are so lucky it didn't hit the ground ( on the interstate). It caused damage to his Jeep and they say that they're going to fix it. Parts on way, wrong parts came, can't get the parts and wait till we call you. It's been months....no call. We was really nice and they took advantage of that. Just sad because we trusted them.Services: Transmission, Exhaust

Went for new catalytic converter and spent a year trying to get a replacement for a bad part. Had to go to Court and Sue. Still have not received the compensation for taking it to dealer to fix. Never use these people, they will cheat you if they can.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I called Art's after the Chevy dealer quoted me $1,600 for a new catalytic converter. Art's was $1,100. I don't know about you but I have a lot better things to do with $500 than give it to the dealer. I wish I would've went to Art's first because the dealer also charged me $90 just to diagnose the cat, Art's didn't add a single penny for diagnosis. I highly recommend Art's for all your exhaust related automotive needs! My kids also really enjoyed the muffler men band out front! Thanks Art's!!!!

This was the worst experience I could have at an exhaust shop quoted me 250 dollars from the start did all my work to make sure it was all perfect start for them and they wanted to charge me an additional 700 dollars plus the parts provided. After they had done my dads exhaust the same way 6 months prior would not recommend it to anyoneService: Exhaust

Quick turn around with no appointment. Price was little high and some confusion with price that needed clarification and corrections made before payment. Work and service was perfectly executed front counter staff took care of making sure the price was right!

Had my dad's truck for 2 months, never worked on it, never ordered part and wouldn't tell us where they took it to be fixed. Evertime my dad went in the shop the owner would hide. He was always drunk and his. Had to call the cops to find out where my dad's truck was and then threatened my dad and daughter that if they come on the property they will be charged mind you my dad trusted him and this is what he gets in return. Horrible customer service. NEVER take your vehicle here.

New ownership has made Art s Muffler a complete joke. I brought in a simple project with explicit instructions. After 6 months of waiting my exhaust was 0% complete. I have used Art s for almost 20 years. Guess it s time to find a reputable business to deal with. Wishing I could post a review with less than 1 star.

I ordered a stainless steel tip for my pickup about a week ago. Week and a half. They told me it would be in the following Monday, didn't hear from them so I decided to call them around 4:30 right before they closed. I was told this would be easy to do fast and simple weld on tip. Paid 50 upfront for everything. Well some guy picked up that Monday and said there were 3 different stainless steel tips. So he said he didn't know which one was min . He told me to call the next day in the morning and ask for "Sam" apparently the guy who knew about this. So I did, I got a hold of Sam and he said he was just about to call me that he hadn't recieved any stainless steel tips. Which is funny because the other guy the day before told me there was a shipment. So sam told me to call back the next day. I did and basically the exact same thing. I was told to check again on Friday since they get shipment that day and I tried calling at 9 and they were closed when I was told to call in that day. I'd like to speak to ownership because this is not the first this has happened. I was told by many of my family members not to go there but I said what's the worst that could happen. Well, arts muffler is the worst that can happen.

I had a bad joint in the exhaust system, quoted $217 to fix. Came in under quote for $185.They had to order the parts that took 2 weeks to arrive. Once they had the parts I scheduled an appointment and had the work done and done well. Appreciated that they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need like a lot of shops tend to do.

Gave explicit instructions as to what to replace in the exhaust system. They had to order parts. At the appointed time, a week later, I took my vehicle in. Contrary to my instructions, they removed the entire exhaust system and then found that they had gotten the wrong parts and ordered again. Now what do I do as the exhaust system on my vehicle is gone and it is not driveable. Fifteen days later they indicated that they had received the new parts. They did the installation but did not get or install the portion of the exhaust system that needed replacing and that I had specifically asked to be replaced. They would not give any consideration for doing the wrong things. I'll have to take my vehicle somewhere else to get the things needed and wanted done.Service: Exhaust
