Did not use their services due to insurance and the shops estimates not aligning. They will not do work they can't warranty themselves, regardless of insurance coverage. I needed to get an engine swap done but they wanted to spend ten extra hours to inspect the provided parts. Insurance wouldn't cover the difference and wanted to total my car out. As much as I appreciate their integrity in their work. I personally could not afford to continue with the process useing this shop.

They are great to discuss what you think about your auto problem. Friendly staff and I can tell they are a sought after business. A very knowledgeable Tech came out to look at my truck and listen. I look forward tk them fixing my electrical problem.

Some of the worse service I've ever experienced they claimed that they were going to call me before they did a diagnosis fee and I never got a call they did an hour and a half of work on my vehicle to diagnose and charge me $205 with only an hour and a half of work time and claim that the first hour would be free so at $120 an hour for Shop Rate i don't understand how it all added up to $200 it was a joke and they misplaced my keys and my vehicles turn signals or any of my lights were working after receiving my car back

Jake is the best!! Great skills and very sincere in their approach to solving any car issue.. highly recommended Our car key fob got stuck in a weirdly placed vent/opening under the driver s seat in a Nissan Pathfinder.We were struggling with getting help with retrieving the car fob and visited a lot of auto shops who did not even try to help.Jake was able to quickly look into it despite the heavy July 4th rush and helped us out.He got the car key fob out in no time thanks to Jake s very sincere attempt. No other car shop made an attempt even slightly close to what these guys did!They have a great setup to solve any car issue.!!

They have been a godsend. Every vehicle that we have taken there comes back way better than when it got there. Not to mention it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for every repair. Plus it's done right the first time and we don't have to keep taking them back. Impeccable service every single time. They will always have our business.

This is the best place out there for any kind of car repairs!! Jake is the best guy to help you out with any kind of car troubles. We had a great experience despite a high traffic weekend for them, Jake helped us out quickly..highly recommended!!

Great solid place, they do the work you need nothing more Shelley and team are wonderful people and I enjoy bringing my vehicle here. They have only do what was needed, they didnt charge for BS. They were exactly what I needed and I wouldnt have gone anywhere else.

These guys have always taken good care of my vehicles and I've been going to them for around 20 years for one thing or another. They've always gone above and beyond even picked me up when I got stranded years ago or came to my home in Rigby and picked up one that quit then gave me a ride when it was fixed. Usually charge less than quote. Thanks guys especially Chuck.

I jad an airbag light that kept coming on. I have had it to at lease a hald dozen people including a dealership in idaho falls twice or more and one in Reno. A very good body shop and several mechanics. I think the dealerships just cleared the errors.Advanced had it for a couple of days, found a loose connect ion under one of the seats, dis NOT recommend replacing the harness, but repaired the connector and it has worked for 2 months and I consider it repaired. I mow have a Ram with the same issue and am going to make an appt. with them to get it fixed as well.I can not speak high enough about them and am grateful for their honest and skillful work ethic. Thank God there are still shops out there that are thia good and honest.

Installed part less than a year ago, was told it had a 1 year warranty. Part has gone bad in less than a year and they wont honor what they said, no will Chuck show the paperwork from when he ordered the part. Hiding anything?? Do not use them! Dishonest!!! After the mechanic left that we had always had work on our vehicles, we have not been satisfied. Things are usually not fixed and they have to go back.

The did a quick and professional job which the first two mechanics I went to did not have the electrical knowledge necessary to do what I required. I will definitely take all my mechanical problems to Advanced Auto Repair.This is my second review. It s been about 6 months since my first visit to Advanced Automotive Repair/Automotive Electrical Specialists (AAE). During that time I have needed their services two additional times.My respect and gratitude for AAE has not changed. They have bent over backwards to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I have ALS and I am impossible to understand on the phone due to the disease. Sheli, at the front desk, was kind enough to give me a phone # which I could send texts to. It may not seem like a big deal to most people, but to me, it was a very big deal. I was extremely grateful that she was willing to do what she could so I could ask and answer questions and not feel cut out of the process.When the work on my truck was finished, I got exactly what I expected. A truck that was running great and the work was done at a fair price. Not a giveaway price, but not at some unexpected sky high price, either. Nothing is cheap anymore, exceptadvice. So, if you ask me where to go to get your vehicle repaired, I won t give you advice, I ll just look you straight in the eye and tell you the only place I trust to repair my truck is Advanced Automotive Repair. That is not my opinion. For me, that is a fact.

Good service and knowledgeable mechanics. Diagnostics are just slightly over priced in my opinion but they are certainly the electrical experts for automotive in Idaho falls

Chuck is a bit odd, but he's the best electrical guy in Idaho Falls. If you want it fixed right, give it to Chuck or do it yourself. I don't always have the time to do it myself on some of my projects, and Chuck is the only guy here in Idiot Flats that I trust to get the electrical right.

You charge me around $500 to tell me a was the computer. I took the car to another shop and a was the Starter that need it to be replace. Not sure what security Codes you talking about. And you never told me anything about it when I pay you

Caution consumers!!! The services at this location will have to be done again by a professional and cost you more money. Please stay away so you don't experience the same as I did.

No point on making an appointment. Upon arrival I was told it'd take couple hrs. and the fee was $25 over what it stated on their website.

This shop is amazing at electrical issues. Highly recommended by my amazing carburetor mechanic and another shop I use in town.
