Went to be on top resort for family members wedding it was a beautiful location however lots of stumps throughout the campground causing people to fall especially at night. And there was only a very small bar, nothing else is far as food or vending machines. The restrooms were actually pretty nice and well-kept.But this is a campground & RV part, there are no hotel accommodations or rooms.

Beyond Hope Resort has become a summertime family favorite place to be. We started RVing in summer of 2020 when we went to Idaho to visit family. The resort rests on a beautiful spot on Lake Pend Oreille. There are 30 and 50 amp, whole group and tent spots. Clean restrooms and shower rooms available which are so handy. A playground for kids under the shade trees is the perfect place for kids to play and make connects with others. The beach is beautiful with breathtaking views of surrounding mountains, clear water and skies. We take inflatable toys and end up sharing with all the locals and visitors as everyone we've met is so warm and welcoming. On Sundays during the summer, there is live music to enjoy. Our family looks forward to breakfast at the Wake Zone Cafe, Thursday - Sunday. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating making breakfast and serving coffee. This was our 4th summer RVing to Beyond Hope and the camp hosts went above and *beyond with adding arts and crafts! My kids absolutely loved Stayce and Mike Moore and truly bonded with them. We hope they return next year! Summer of 2022, we brought grandma and grandpa and a couple cousins. They fell in love, too. We're already planning our Summer RV trip for 2024 and expect the group to grow! Family Road Trip 2024 to stay, relax and play at Beyond Hope Resort is already in the works! Our hearts are full Beyond Hope and we can't wait for next summer. The memories this place allows us to create is priceless! Thank you to everyone at Beyond Hope for making is such a special and unique place to visit!

Don't sit at the bar if you want service. Bartender was very rudd and he never acknowledged us. Perhaps if we were female instead of two older couples that actually own property there. After 20 mins we got up and leftNoteworthy details: Camp ground.

Great scenery but the resort needs some things to take it to the next level. I mean who charges for wifi anymore? $4.99 a day? There need to be showers added to the upper level. Port a potties are for NP sites not a resort park. My bad I read it was full hookup but there are no sewer hookups. The best thing about the resort is the personnel, they had great customer service!

I cannot say enough about this resort. The staff especially Jill, Scot Carol and Kiera were so lovely to us for our almost 5 week stay. Even bringing Amazon packages to our rig. Restrooms clean, nice laundry area. We got a weekky dump out. The restaurant staff was wonderful as well as the food. We loved it so much bought a house here. Thank you all. Frank and Cherie Kocs

We were so looking forward to a fabulous meal, but it took for ever to get waited on then , when we did get our main meal it was not good at all , the spinach gave tha whole meal tastes metallic. And the sprimp was overcooked. The risotto was too watery. So very disappointed. I'd like to try the other dishes though. Not gonna give up. Hope I have a better experience.

Almost exactly what we expected. Jill one of the hosts was amazing and the resort is very well maintained. The boat docks are amazing and sites on the lower park in my opinion are better. The washrooms are clean, showers are free, and the laundry is very reasonably priced. The only thing was the beach or the lack thereof. It was gravel and rocks and we realized that it's best to wear your sandals in the water. Now with that being said, the lake is amazing, clean and warm.

We actually just have our boat in a slip here but I wanted to comment on how clean the bathrooms and showers are. And they smell so good! Jillian does a great job! Plus the employees are so helpful and nice!

This place is a magical wilderness oasis. Fantastic service, great facilities, with incredible waterfront views. The restaurant and bar are awesome. Each staff member we encountered was great. On our first night, Brian was our bartender. He recommended and made some excellent drinks for us to enjoy after dinner.During our second day, Tim was our bartender for lunch and dinner. His service, recommendations, and drinks were better than what you would experience in a posh big city restaurant or bar.The lady that answered the phone was delightful and they had a spot for us to pitch our tent. We drove up and were blown away by how wonderful the place was. It felt like a classic, well maintained, and fun summer camp for adults and families alike. The camp hosts who greeted and helped check us in, Caroline and Scott I think, were fantastic. The other guests we encountered were all very pleasant. My wife and I were 10 days into a road trip and on our way home. We stopped for lunch in Coer d'Alene and realized we were tired and not interested in going home just yet. It was a Saturday afternoon in the dead of summer and finding a place to stay near a lake was darn near impossible. We found Beyond Hope on the Google, they were the third or fourth place we had tried to get into and decided if we could get a campsite then we'd drive the 1hr 30 min off our route to get there.Extending our trip two nights to stay at Beyond Hope was totally worth it and enjoyably relaxing. We look forward to making them our destination next time for some R&R.

We were able to get a tent site last minute and stayed for two nights at the end of our summer vacation. We stayed in the upper half of the resort and were the only tent campers within our area the first night which was great because we opted for more private vs. the more populated tent site area closer to the water. The second night other tent campers arrived and set up camp two sites away which still gave us considerable privacy. The RV sites were full and plentiful, and slightly separated from the tent sites. The upper portion of the resort (where our site was) has port-a-potties which were kept in very clean condition and did not stink. The lower half (only a short walk away from our site and on the way to the beach) is equipped with 4 separate, very clean bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, shower, bath hooks and a shelf to set your things on. The shower I used had ample water pressure and hot water. In the two days we were there I never once had to wait for a bathroom to open up, which is really nice when you are tent camping. I am an early riser and have an hour long bathroom routine lol so I used the shower at about 5:30am both mornings and had no one waiting to get in when I got out of it which is nice and takes the pressure off my morning The restaurant and bar down at the beach was a huge plus. It opened at noon for lunch and 4 for dinner. The food and drinks are all very good. My only complaint is the slightly long wait time on both food and drinks, but maybe they are short staffed like everywhere in our home state of Montana right now. The beach area is nice, albeit quite rocky, with a large area for swimming and a big dock with a boat launch. There were many beach chairs provided but none were the lay out kind, only the sitting kind, which I though was a little odd since so many people like to lay in the sun. When we arrived, we were sad to learn that campfires were prohibited during the dry season throughout the county (it makes sense, just hadn't occured to us for some reason). We had already purchased groceries for campfire cooking and so the woman who checked us into our site (the owner perhaps?) was kind enough to lend us her nice propane stove for our stay there. She also leant us a hiking trail guide for the area (our cell phones had no internet service anywhere around there) which we utilized for a beautiful 5 mile hike round trip to secluded Lake Darling. All in all we were very pleased with the resort and will definitely be back again should we plan to revisit the area.

This restaurant provided amazing customer service, like beyond expectations. My family had went to the floating restaurant first to get some food after fishing and they offered awful service, the front lady was very rude so we left hungry. We came here to beyond hope not knowing what to expect and they helped us find a table even though there were reservations, amazing customer service right there. There is an amazing atmosphere and vibe. Very clean and pretty

This place is spectacular! Your camping neighbors are typically friendly and here for relaxation and fun!!! Camp Hosts are awesome and the facilities are clean. If you're here when I'm here with my crew (we are in our 30s and 40s) grab a beer and come join us!

Amazing camp hosts and beach! Your camp hosts are fun and always willing to help you. Not to mention, an AMAZING breakfast shack, called the Wake Zone. The employees at the Wake Zone are amazing and won t hesitate to make you breakfast. The owner of the Wake Zone is so nice, he s like a Carebear! The owner of the park is awesome too. I definitely recommend you camp and eat here.

Beautiful campground with unique access to lake Ponderay. Rocky beach, bring water shoes! Nice restaurant with sunset views. Quiet hours are NOT enforced and it s a party place. If you are looking for quiet nights, this may not be your campground. Laundry room is clean and well kept. Two washers and dryers. Haven t used the restroom facilities due to Covid. They appear to clean them regularly.

Seevice was, and has been bad. Guy bartender is always good! But, when you walk up to bar, you shouldnt have to watch girls chit chat when your thirsty for several minutes, in a slow bar. And then just walk by. Would be nice to be greeted and acknowledged. Its also hard to get your check and pay...I have been there many times now, and its the same everytime with trying to get service at bar, girls standing around. Sorry, but true.

This is basically a 2-star park with a 5-star location (thus 3 stars). The dock area and lake access are very nice, but they charge nearly $60/night for not even full hookups. There is water and electric (30 amp) only, and they don't even have a dump station and charge $40 extra if you want a pump out. The bathrooms are dinky and smelly from overuse on the weekends, and good luck getting a shower with lukewarm water on the weekends when it is quite crowded. Oh, and they charge extra for WiFi which we did not purchase (but at least the Verizon signal is good here).I would not stay here again, but would go to the Island View Trailer Park down the street that has full hookups for less money.Note that there is a dump station at the National Forest Campground next door, but it costs $8 and is not so easy to get in and out of if you have a big rig.

Stayed over memorial weekend, was a really nice place with exception to a few issues. No sewer hookups and they do charge $25 for the sewage truck and the showers are fine if you are 5ft 2 or shorter. The biggest complaint was the restaurant. It was really overpriced for the quality of food and with only a few tables being used it took close to an hour to get our food.

With only a few trees amongst the sites, it feels a little bare, and in August the grass is dead, but the sites are nice and flat with lots of elevation away from the lake. The beach is quite rocky and no sand, but the water is very refreshing and the docks are great. There were lots of boat slips available if you bring a boat. The wifi was pretty terrible, but you should be outside on your vacation.

The park was not its cracked up to be, and we left early.+Though none of the r.v. sites are on the lake, and few have a direct view of it, the views down at the lake are incredible. The restaurant is expensive but the food is and service are top-shelf. The park was fairly quiet because few campers were there. Plenty of grass. The staff, camp hosts, were very nice and helpful. Lovely watching all the deer roam through the park.-We were blazing hot because our site, like most, was in full sun. The majority of sites were installed on a sloping hill with no attempt to level them. Was the hardest site to level we've ever seen. I work from the road, so Internet is important. Upon arrival we were told the Internet was down but that it'd be up by day's end. Nope. And not the next day, either although we kept being told it would soon be working. We'd much prefer someone be transparent with us about problems. Most sites around us had no sewer (do any of them?), and the only way to dump was to pay for a truck that showed up a couple of times per week. We are full-timers, and this is the only park we've ever seen without dump facilities (we had been camping out the previous days and needed to empty).Overall, our impression was that the park could be much nicer than it is. To us, it was a disappointment.

Nice and clean place, Grandkids loved the lake, people that run restaurant and RV camp are all helpful and nice. Very clean showers and rest rooms. They work hard cleaning and keeping all that grass green. I love the space they give between the sites. Even pick my site. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is wish they have more shower/ bath room and more shade on the upper part of campground.

We needed a last minute RV spot the other weekend after a slight mishap. We pulled in, booked a spot online, and parked right around the time they are closed. A very nice host pulled up, welcomed us, and made sure we had everything we needed. We can't thank them enough for being so great. They checked on us in the morning as well. What a beautiful place with great amenities. We'll definitely try to make it back. Thanks again to the RV hosts.

Pretty, grassy area for RVs and tents. Hardly any shade, which is unfortunate for the tents. Little playground. Bathhouse with showers, two each. Laundry room has two coin operated washers and dryers. The restaurant is excellent although service is slow. Great fishing in Lake Pend Oreille. This resort is right next to a Natl Forest Service park which has a large, rocky beach. Gorgeous sunsets. Mosquitoes not bad. Good signal with Verizon, WiFi included in rates. Deer roam freely thoroughout.

Very nice in the off season, probably a lot of fun during peak season when the restaurant/bar/coffee/breakfast places are open! Has electric and water hookups. Verizon works well here and a limited number of over the air channels can be received with antenna.
