We bought a used Tahoe from them this last week. The car was from Canada and we had lots of questions and concerns. They do not use carfax . In hindsight we should have offered to pay for it out of pocket prior to purchase. We should have listened to our gut. Driving my new car off the lot the check engine came on and I immediately returned. We cancelled the purchase.

Had a great experience, Kami was a hoot to work with, we really enjoyed trading conversation with her. She is a very likeable individual. Her professionalism is spot on. If you are looking to buy a vehicle from Gortsema please look her up. She has tons of experience and had the answers to all of our questions, even went above and beyond what we expected. After looking for a truck around the region we found what we were looking for at Gortsema. We had the privilege of working with Leslie Workman. She was quick to respond via email, text and by phone. Her knowledge and and level of customer service was exceptional. What is usually a tedious and dreadful process, was made seamless and pleasant. We would buy another vehicle from Gortsema and recommend Leslie to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

My buddy bought a newer used Chevrolet diesel truck from here. So we made the run from Boise to Grangeville, ID on a beautiful spring day to pick it up. A 3 1/2 hour trip saved him $2000 as the Boise chevy dealerships would not deal. Amazing that during the virus economic crisis that local dealerships would not budge on price. Shame on Boise. The dealership was small and the people extremely friendly and customer oriented. Their inventory is mainly trucks and SUV's so before you buy local Boise give them a call.

Unmatched customer service and extremely personable -- Leslie was so incredibly helpful in asking all of my questions via email and walking me through the financing process with an outside lender. She was a major reason we chose to make the 170 mile drive to Grangeville from Missoula, MT. Sadly, the car we planned to purchase developed a mechanical issue just before we arrived. Despite this, Leslie and the dealership manager were extremely empathetic and even compensated us for our drive unprompted. If another suitable car shows up at Gortsema, we'd return in a heartbeat. We're spreading the word in Missoula, and wish the best for Gortsema in the meantime. Thank you so much!

My husband, I and our dog were on the road over 200 miles from home when our check engine light on our diesel truck came on and warned us that in 99 miles our speed would be cut down and as we had a 600 mile trip that day, we found this wonderful dealership, Gortsema in Grangeville, Idaho. The service manager, Michael assisted us, verifying they did have the part we needed. We were worked in that day and continued on our way! We're so thankful Michael for you and your staff getting us fixed so we could make our appointment in Buehl, Idaho the next day! Thanks again!

I found the sales staff to be very knowledgeable and they treated us great. No high pressure sales tactics. The vehicle we found was one of the most reasonably priced that I had found after hours and hours of searching online. An issue was found with the vehicle during our test drive and they volunteered to fix it at no cost to me and a several thousand dollar cost to them. The issue was not one that they knew about and tried to hide. The issue just happened to trip a check light on our test drive. Over all it was a great experience and I will be looking at their inventory for all future vehicle purchases.

I was traveling through Grangeville on my way to Moscow to visit my family when my car broke down. I was able to call Gortsema Service Department and Randy was very kind and said to bring it in and they would have a look. Upon inspection they discovered I would need a whole new transmission. It was decision time. Joe stepped in and tried to find me a rental to get me on my way should I decide to have my car repaired. As I took a few moments to gather my thoughts a very cheerful sales woman named Sabrina came and sat and talked with me. After much discussion I decided to look at some newer vehicles they had on their lot. I found a very nice used vehicle that met my needs. So, I bought a vehicle. It was by far the easiest transaction my husband and I have ever done in purchasing a vehicle. The staff at Gortsema rates quite high in my book. Everyone offered smiles and warm down-home greetings. There was a good positive feeling among the employees and it didn t take long to see small town charm come alive. If you are in the market for a vehicle with fair pricing it is well worth the drive (if you live out of town). I would even drive up from Boise again to buy another vehicle from these fine folks, of course I d ask for Sabrina, who made it a fun adventure for me.

I bought my first Chevy Silverado from Gortsema Motors this weekend and my entire Gortsema Motors experience exceeded expectations! Leslie in Sales and Jason, the General Sales Manager were both very helpful and great to work with! At the end of the day I felt like I got a great deal on my pickup and I look forward to coming back to Gortsema Motors for my next vehicle purchase!

I have always had great customer service when going to Gortsema Motors in Grangeville. The service department does an excellent job in scheduling appointments for repairs and maintenance. They go above and beyond what would normally be expected of a service department. Gortsema Motors will have your local vehicle picked up, serviced, and dropped back off at your local work place for your convenience, which saves you time and money. My family has purchased several vehicles over the past 40+ years from Gortsema and the courteous sales team continues to provide excellent service today, following up on questions you may have, and they will help you find the vehicle you are looking for.

I bought a 2015 GMC from them I have had it for a year, the paint is coming off it's bubbling peeling off I was very upset, Today the owner Joe contacted me I took it in so they could see it, it's agreed that it's a bad paint job from the manufacturer , Joe is going to see what he can do to help me get it fixed. Thank you Joe (the owner) and kami you are amazing ( my sales lady) Thank you, you have my business forever. You are all so amazing.

It is with a heavy heart I write this review. Since I got out of the military and came back home in 2013 from overseas, I have used gortsema motors to purchase 5 vehicles. They always have delt fair. But this past week trying to purchase a car I didn't not have the traditional customer oriented experience. They came in $5000 low on my trade in while asking a few hundred over book for They car I intended to purchase. The excuse I received was with the shortage of cars the used book is high and in "real value" the car wasn't worth book. So I said then your car by the same concept shouldn't be valued at the same price as the new car. The response then was well the shortage of microchips makes it impossible to get a new car and none are this price. Well I looked around and and got a brand new 2022 model of the car with more options and packages for the same amount they are asking for the 2020. Also received full book value for my trade in. The new numbers guy is going to run the business into the ground and because of this experience, gortsemas lost a loyal customer.

Great, friendly and easy to deal with. I appreciated the size and fast service. Although Kami begged for a date, I had to respectfully decline.....jk... she was great. I left my house keys in my trade in and thought I lost them. They sent them to me and made my day!! Thumbs up!

The general manager and service department are a joke. I have had nothing but problems since I bought my vehicle and they keep giving the run around not wanting to fix it. They are rude and the GM insulted my boyfriend and myself. Today alone I scheduled to have my truck dropped off because my check engine light is back on, it was just in the shop last week, and I asked them to keep it for a week to make sure there where no further issues. The GM refused to give me a loaner vehicle even though it is in the warranty plan I bought and had the audacity to ask me, "Well don't you have another form of transportation you could use?" and continued to lecture me about how he loses money on rentals. Well sir you wouldn't have to do them if you sold vehicles that actually worked!Save yourself the trouble and the headache and go somewhere else

I have purchased 2 cars from Gortsema Motors with the help of Kami Benn. My Subaru died and I didn't want to put any more money into, so I searched online for a Chevy because I decided to buy American and hoped to keep the money within my community. I found the car I wanted and within hours I received an email from Kami informing me that there were two cars available on the lot that matched my request. We agreed to meet.I was initially impressed with Kami because she chose to show me the less expensive car first. She wanted me to know how that model handled with all the standard features. The 2nd option had leather seats and was a beautiful red... just like the one I was drooling over online. I bought the expensive one.I've since purchased a 2nd car from Gortsema because I missed the hatch back my Subarus had and felt I needed a bit more room than I had in my Cruze. Once again, Kami to the rescue. The car was missing one feature I wanted, so Kami told me immediately upon my arrival that she just noticed the difference on the window sticker. She was acutely concerned that I could trust her to sell me what she said she was selling me. I DO trust Kami.I also liked the no haggle pricing, the employee discount (or better) and the fair trade in price.Service is great as well. Oil changes are great because my car is washed and dried without spots and it's vacuumed and I feel like my car is brand new again.I'll be back to Gortsema for my next Chevy

The guys (Warren and Brad) in the body shop are greatest. We had been hit by a semi truck and they did everything humanly possible to get us back on the road. The paint job is top notch. They even came in after hours to help get us back on the road faster.. Again great people and thank you.

Do not buy a vehicle from them. I purchased a 2004 Nissan Frontier from them 06/13/2017 it is now 7/18/2017 and about a week ago the engine started ticking. I emailed them to let them know I was angry and frustrated. I got an email back from a Kenneth Ashcraft telling me that I redlined the truck when I drove away which is a flat out lie. He went on to say that they don't know how I've abused the vehicle since I drove away redlining it. Then he states that they did exactly what I asked, sold me a vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. I didn't want a vehicle with engine problems. Please, please, please save yourself the trouble and do not buy from this company. They will blame you for any issue.

Had our car taken to the body shop after an accident. Casey I think is name is has more patients with insurance companies than I would. Car work was great, cant even tell the deer hit me....lol

Save yourself a trip...this place HOSED us. I got the mechanic to actually tell me that all he did was hook up a computer to the truck. He did ZERO work on the truck. On top of that, when the fella at the service desk called to tell us the truck was ready, he said to wait 20 min so the mechanics could put the truck "back together". Now, why would he need to put the truck "back together" if all they did was hook up the diagnostic computer? All said and done, we were charged for an hour of labor when in fact all they did was 2 min of work. They couldnt fix the problem and indicated that the computer problem I allerted them to when we dropped the truck off was in fact there. (thanks for nothing)There are not many options for mechanics in Grangeville. BUT, if you have a choice between this dealership and ANYTHING ELSE, pick the alternative.

When I broke down on my trip, they went out of their way to help me to find a hotel and give me a drive there. They had my truck ready the next day by 8 am. They did a outstanding job !!!!
