We were leaving the Kamiah area, and as we reached the top of the incline, our RV's engine began missing and lost power. While we limped toward Grangeville, my wife found and called Extreme. She told them our problem, and when we arrived, they were waiting for us. Chase troubleshot the engine and found a cylinder misfiring. With their experience of similar issues, they ordered the part and told us it would be in the next morning. They called us at 8:05 am and let us know it was there. When we arrived the immediately began the repair, successfully getting us back on the road home. I wish to thank them for their kindness and skills and for the urgency and promptness. The price was great also.

They fixed most of the problem with my pickup but the engine light kept coming on I went back 2 or 3 times to see what the issue was and they just ignored me kept on working or talking to whoever was standing there. My issue never got fixed and I refuse to go back to that place after paying them almost 900.00 for a problem that never got solved

Our brakes went out going into Hells Canyon. Extreme Automotive Repair, Grangeville, Idaho responded immediately and sent a tow truck to get our truck on Wednesday at Pittsburgh Landing. The truck was fixed that day and was ready for pickup Thursday morning. If you are every in the area and are having automotive issues, we highly recommend Extreme Automotive Repair! So my newly restored 1940 Ford PU had fuel pump go out. Extreme dropped everything to work on my trk & get me back on road home. Also cleaned fuel filter. SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!

Took my vehicle there for service. It sat for over three months and they didn't do anything. I finally just picked up my vehicle.

There are no other words to describe the owner other than "HE IS A THIEF!" Asked them to clean up the battery cable connections, that never happened. The tech put grease on the terminals, and said its never the connections. After I paid, the tech admitted in front of myself and the secretary, "Yeah, it was slow cranking over." Later, the boss looked me in the eye and said, "I've been doing this for 30 years, a poor connection on the ground side of a battery has nothing to do with the starter, battery charging and battery sulphating." He couldn't explain the load test. All the while he was trying to sell me a new battery. When I fixed it myself, the negative battery terminal was loose from the tech. He lied to my face then tried to sweet talk me into buying a new battery from him. THIS OUTFIT IS CROOKED AND DISHONEST!Service: Electrical repair

On an emergency situation, I pulled into Extreme, and just by the sound my pickup was making, they had my trouble diagnosed, & parts ordered before I even entered the office. Great place to get your vehicle worked on. I spent $3500 at Extreme Auto Repair. I'm overall very satisfied with the work done and the customer service. I do still have a check engine light on though. I think it's one of those things that can't be fixed. That being said I will definitely be back for more work in the future if needed. My vehicle is safe and in good reliable condition again. Don't hesitate to take your vehicle to Extreme Auto Repair! Thank you so much :)

Took my car here after hearing several good things from my friends about this shop. I am completely dissatisfied. They had my car for 3 days before they even looked at it, they never called to tell me why my car was taking so long to finish up, after having it for almost a month. There were several delays on getting parts or service completed and they never notified me. They took my registration out of my car and never put it back. When I picked up my car, the girl at the front desk didn't give me an itemized receipt until I told her I wouldn't pay without it. Then she didn't tell me to tighten the lug nut or get me my keys or even show me where my car was. She sat at her desk and gladly took my money but sure didn't have a single bit of customer service. When I called to ask about my car registration the receptionist was rude, kept interrupting me, and never apologized for making me drive illegally since she is the reason my registration wasn't put back. She wouldn't tell me her name when I asked her and refused to let me speak to a manager or owner. Extreme Auto was supposed to fix a leak in my power steering pump, they replaced the pump but it is still leaking and was almost out of power steering fluid by the time I got home. Horrible customer service and shoddy work at best. If you're looking for an honest auto body shop, keep looking, extreme auto has proven they cannot be trusted and will do nothing to fix any mistakes they make.

They were an Absolute disaster trying to fix my ball joints and front suspension. They didnt torque down castle nuts at all....things worked loose and wore so I ended up having to replace everything again myself. My son and his skating partner were headed to McCall, ID for a skating show at their Winter Carnival when their car developed a weird shaking near Grangeville. They had to stay the night but Extreme Auto got them in first thing in the morning, diagnosed the problem and had them back on the road in 2 hours. Much appreciate the small town friendly service to a couple young folks on the road in the middle of winter!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Fantastic! Couldn't be happier. Passing through in my RV when the cab AC went out (in 90+ degree heat). They got me in next morning ( and sent me to a great place to camp).Polite, friendly and got the work done efficiently.Highly recommend.

I had a long list of things to be fixed and they got everything done successfully and in a very timely fashion. Customer service was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking your car there for any service you may need.

On 3/10/2021 our 99 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4 pickup had the clutch go out south of Grangeville on HWY 95 while hauling a JD Gator back to Nebraska. We called this shop and they were there to tow us off the road within 20 minutes. They checked availability of parts and tore into the project immediately since they had a service bay open and parts available. Extreme Auto Repair LLC had our transmission pulled, clutch installed and back on the road the same day in less than 5 hours. Pickup made it back to Nebraska safely within a couple days. Extreme Auto Repair saved the day for us. While towing a uhaul trailer up 95N from Riggins, my check engine light came on. We pulled into Extreme Auto Repair and Jared came out to our car to assess the situation. He determined it was either a spark plug or a coil and then immediately called the auto parts store to have both parts brought to the shop. Thankfully it was just a spark plug, he replaced it and got us back on the road in no time. He gave us some helpful tips on towing a trailer and overall made a very stressful situation much easier. Everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful. Extreme Auto Repair is a trustworthy and fair auto shop, I can t thank them enough for helping us in such a pinch.

Gerad and Extreme Auto in Grangeville, Idaho are fantastic. My coworker and I had car problems on Whitebird hill and he dropped everything to come and tow us and get us out of the cold. His team checked the car and made necessary repairs for a very reasonable rate. This type of service is so rare and maybe only in the small towns of America. Thank you!

Not again. Tech didn't have time to check one problem, couldn't replicate water leak with hose so no problem. That doesn't fly.
