Worst tire shop in the valley and I ve been to them all. Used to get greeted by a grumpy lady who would constantly tell you you re wrong or unable to do something perfectly doable. Ex. Car has different front and rear tires widths and she refused to believe or understand this. Now you walk in and are helped by a chiller guy seems better. But after my 3rd most recent try here, the mechanics came out after I payed and ridiculed me for only mounting two tires on my front wheel drive car. After minutes of trying to explain the other two on the car are basically new they still didn t understand and told me im wrong. Not only this, the two they mounted and balanced were out of balance above 60 which I had fixed at driggs tire without issue.

This is the worst service I've ever had I don't know if this is the manager or the owner who gave him arrogance and prejudice! My English is not good and I tried to translate with my mobile phone several times to let him see what I want to express! They all refused to look at my phone! It's all through employees! After repeated negotiations, I finally decided to replace one tire first, and use an old tire instead for one day, and then I will replace two tires that are the same as my original car on the second day! I promise! Because I have to use this car today! However, after changing the tire for me, the price will give me the price of the new tire! After I questioned it, the price was changed immediately! I don't know how many people's money he cheated here? dishonest! Another problem is that it will take 4-5 days for my new tires to arrive, not what they said before and they can be replaced tomorrow! I knew I would have changed another store! I decided to replace the old tire first because it said that there would be new tires tomorrow, I was very angry why didn't I tell me in advance! The extremely rude attitude of this so called manager disgusts me! I would never want to see him nor would anyone else experience the same encounters and central treatment I had! To be honest, the employees here are quite enthusiastic! I feel any employee here is better than him! Such a person in charge here will ruin the store sooner or later!

8/1/2023. 3 stars, what a shame. The phone call to find tires was excellent, fast friendly, ordered tires on the spot, setup appointment, said the tires would come in at noon and appointment was for 3 pm. Arrived for the appointment very early 2:15, gave keys, service writer said it would be 3 pm to start working on our vehicle, waiting, waiting.... Waiting...about 3:30 asked for an update. Service writer then says the tire supplier has not shown up yet?????That's something you say from the start!!!So we waited..........and waited finally 4:15pm the supplier shows up.The mechanics work very fast to try to make up for the writers lack of communication. Because they knew this review was coming, 1.5million views I said, got things motivated.Other than the writer they would have a higher rating, but this time 3.

Super fast, easy, and quality workmanship. Just got married up at Targhee, tire was leaking, and honeymoon / drive to MN ahead of us. Kaufman s got us all prepped for a reliable ride and the experience was great.

My 18 year old granddaughter went in for a $40 oil change and they charged her $120. They did things without her permission, she hasn't yet learned how to speak up and dispute the items. She said it's too small of a community to complain in. So disappointed in you guys!!!!

Super responsive friendly service by family owned business. Very reasonably priced. I picked up a nail in one of my tires while traveling through the area. They were the only tire shop open in Diggs on Saturday morning, and despite being busy, got me right in. Less than 1/2 hour later the tire was patched and I was on my way. Daniel, a long term employee, took extra time to make sure all of my tires were properly inflated and in good shape. Highly recommend.

We had 2 flats in 1 day because our tires were worn on a long road trip. Kaufman fixed the first tire very quickly. The 2nd tire couldn t be fixed so they sold us 2 used tires at a great price. We felt confident they weren t trying to just sell us tires and wanted us to get home safely. The 2 ladies at the front were very kind and the service man Daniel was excellent. They all stayed late to help us get back on the road!

We were traveling and had tire issues on our RV. They got us in right away and got us taken care of quickly. Due to the size of our RV they could not do an alignment but did help us locate someone who could. Nice folks and very helpful!

After leaving Jackson Hole and coming over the pass toward Idaho, we were experiencing car issues. Every car shop was booked, including O K Tire. When we called O K, they were super helpful, providing expert advice over the phone, and then offered to check it out even though the schedule didn t allow. When we arrived at O K, the technician helped us out immediately, drove our car to make sure it was safe, and was refreshingly caring, positive, and helpful. Our vehicle fixed and on the road in no time, ready to safely complete our road trip back to Seattle. Thank you, Bryan!!

Let s start by clarifying, I m not mechanically inclined. When I called in and explained what I thought the problem was, an alignment issue, the gal quickly walked me through some steps to verify it was not an alignment issue. Despite being booked up just like every other shop in the area, she said bring it and they d take a look. As soon as I got there, they quickly got it in and got me back on the road (big thanks Brian). These guys are EXPERTS & all around good people! They re also great at communicating with neophyte s such as myself. So grateful these guys took care of me and got me back on my holiday road trip so I can see my family in Boise and then Seattle safely.

I'm from out of the area and got a flat. I had it fixed at Kaufman's. They were busy but able to work me in 30 minutes. They replaced the spare, checked the other tires air pressure and torqued all the lug nuts. The two guys working on my Truck worked as a team and were very polite. I highly recommend this tire store for good service and fair prices. Thank You, Don

I was driving through Idaho in a rented car with tires so bad they literally wore a hole in themselves. I had to pull over a few miles from this shop. I called them and they were able to send someone to help me put the spare on as I was stoped on snow and ice. I was then able to make it to their shop where they had some used tires that fit to make my vehicle safe to drive to Jackson. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I need tires in Idaho again.

Was quoted a price over the phone. Once the work was done the price was 40 percent higher. When I asked about it the woman told me I was wrong.

Actively run by the owners, these people are hard working and know their stuff. I've heard you can get better pricing if you're willing to drive an hour, but for me it's all about supporting your local business. I can already see I'll be going to Kauffman for all my tire, alignment, and brake needs for many years.

These guys are lifesavers! Jared and George really came thru for me. They normally close at 6:00PM, well at 5:40PM I came out of work to find I had a flat tire, not a low tire but a tire so flat the wheel was sitting on the rim. I called and the sweet lady (sorry I didn t get her name) that answered the phone said she would save me the full cost of a service call and have one of the guys come change it to my spare and then I could drive it over for them to fix it, well long story short it took a bit more and longer to get me fixed up and back on my way home, but they did it and not only with a smile on their faces but barely charged me for the work! I smoked my brakes in the Big Horns heading out for the eclipse. Took my truck in for a brake job. They encouraged me to replace not only the brakes but the bearings as well. Great idea! I now have a mechanic out west. They came highly recommended in the Teton Valley area. Thanks guys! Ryan

Outstanding! We are from out of state staying in Victor. After stopping by a local tire shop in Victor who wanted to keep our car all day for a patch job we decided to travel to Kaufman s OK Tire in Driggs just a few miles down the road. We could not be more pleased and satisfied with the service we received. I wish I would have gotten the name of the technician. The paper work states technician BW. Although we went in for just a patch job he went above and beyond. His customer services was top-notch. Highly recommend. Back on the road without giving up a day of vacation. Thank you Kaufman s.

Amazing customer service! In town and had low tire pressure alert. They were closed but stayed late, found the issue and fixed the tire. Great family run operation. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had a flat tire on the horse trailer on Friday evening when I was trying to leave town for a weekend getaway. I called around 5:45 pm and they were willing to stay late to help me get my tire replaced.Jared made my entire weekend and I can't say thank you enough. Thank you!!!

I just had an extensive amount of front end work done on my Dodge 2500 Ram in Colorado. Pulled into Driggs Sunday the 6th, noting that a screeching noise coming from the same area the work was done. I was very concerned, being far from home . I went to Kaufman's and had them check it out. They were very busy, but they took the time to help me with the problem. Daniel and Javier had the problem resolved very quickly. I am very impressed by their service and knowledge. I will be a customer for all of my service needs. I needed a bit of help with my car while in vacation at Grand Targhee, they got my car in quickly, and solved the problem. Prices were affordable, and the people were nice and helpful. A great business.

Don t recommend. Customer service is severely lacking, they are unhelpful and expensive. Every time I have been in there they try and push me into new tires or a service I don t need. Also, they are not very knowledgable. They (very confidently) told me my tire pressure was incorrect when it was correct. Not impressed. I would go to Driggs Tire over this shop.

Travelling in Montana (I am English) I picked up a slow puncture. Garage in Yellowstone couldn't find it, 2 garages in Victor and Griggs wouldn't see me (Saturday at 10am) but Kaufman's made time for me an Lazaro expertly found and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. All staff were welcoming and charged me next to nothing. If I was local they'd have a customer for life. Saved my weekend and holiday. 5*

I purchased a set of new tires earlier in the year from a popular tire store in Rexburg. One of the tires seemed to have a slow leak. When I took it back they stated they could not find a leak and believed it was a nozzle issue. The tire eventually lost air again. I took it back again, and just like before they claimed they could not find a leak. This went on for almost a year, and the whole time they insisted there was not a problem with the tire. When I last contacted them, they believed the problem was wheel rim corrosion and suggested grinding the rim to remove it. I decide to get a second opinion and went to Kauffman Tire in downtown Driggs. Despite the fact that they were busy and I did not make an appointment, they still pulled my car into their shop almost immediately and within minutes discovered the problem...an inch long broken nail in the tire! I am now a new customer. From now on my annual oil/lube service & tire rotations will be performed by the competent, skilled and friendly professionals at Kauffman Tire!!

These guys are incredible. Twice in the last couple years I went in expecting to pay a few hundred dollars for new brakes, both times they pulled off the tires, checked/adjusted the brakes, rotated my tires and sent me on my way for $25.00. Seriously, straight shooters.

I'm a frequent visitor to the area, although this is my first need for a tire repair. Great service. Very friendly and very speedy, and the price was right. Definitely recommend this shop.
