Small RV park with a few spaces for tents as well. The park is a little older but the folks who run the place really work hard.Spaces can be a little tight, but they work. They're was a mix of folks who are staying that are working in the area. But they had nice rigs and even though they were out early (0600) they are quiet and respectful. The owners are the nicest folks and you will most likely meet the whole family.Great information on the surrounding area.We are looking forward to coming back.

I really loved this place and the environment around it! We stayed in a tent camp spot, and the area they had for the tents is grassed and pretty level, so it made sleeping in the tent so much better! The camp host was really nice and genuinely cared about how our experience was, which is rare for me! It's really close to a stinker and is not too far drive from the Mccall Lake. They have bathrooms with showers in the park, and they do an amazing job keeping it clean! They also have a small playground for the kids to play on!

Stayed overnight: June,2021Called last minute and accommodated us as soon as possible. She's (couldn't remember her name, sorry) hospitable and willing to help what's interesting spots to fish or other activities to do in the area. She has shared as well the history of this family campground.Washer & dryer area were neat. It's inside and next to the office area. And the brochure is comprehensive and on point.Recommend

The Chalet is a peaceful and family-friendly place to stay. It offers a relaxed atmosphere and WI-FI that actually works! The Chalet is located next to Boulder Creek and provides a beautiful place to relax and catch some fantastic early morning wildlife encounters. Blake and Monica are exceptional hosts! They keep everything running smoothly while still finding the time to make you feel like part of the family. Community campfire nights are the best!

This is a lovely family campground. Full hook ups and wifi. I've stayed at several RV campground and all are nice but this one is sooo peaceful and a beautiful area. Donnelly id a very small town with small town hospitality.

We felt like family here! We stayed in a tent spot which was on grass and it was perfect! They had an outlet where we can plug in our little tent heater which was a plus! The area is so clean and well kept. They have showers and a little convenient store and laundromat! The owners are so sweet and nice! I loved the little encouraging notes on the restroom mirrors! It was definitely hard to leave. The location is perfect, stinkers nearby, and downtown McCall is super close along with the lake. We would definitely come back!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to camp or rest up this is it . I've been here for a couple of days now. I feel safe sleep comfortably and I'm in a tent on soft grass with electric at my site for a small heater I bought . I highly recommend this place to all travelers. Stay a few days and enjoy all they have to offer. Great for kids to play and grown ups to relax. The owners are absolutely wonderful. I have a fishing Creek right behind me . I can't tell you how relaxed this places you don't have to come in and check it out it's awesome I thank you

This is a nice quiet place. Kids love to fish the stream and actually catch fish. Blake and Monica are amazing and so sweet. They have propane fire pits and yard games to rent. Great place!

Chalet RV is located near Donnelly Idaho. Our 1st stay here in May 2023 was excellent. We had multiple people helping on a construction project on our property near Donnelly. We had people coming and going during this project so there were some reservation changes that had to be made. Blake and Monica the owners were absolutely accommodating with our changes. Blake, Monica and their family keep the park beautiful. They are always around if you need something and are willing to help with any problems that might occur with your RV. There is tent camping and the RV spots have full hookups and can accommodate up to a 45foot RV. We are currently on our 2nd trip here and I can tell you that we are having the same experience as before. Excellent service and the park just keeps getting better.

Didn t make a reservation but did a Drop In on our way through town and they were so easy to deal with. No drama and great site. Quiet and the sites were level. Very clean. The couple running it were so kind. 10/10 solid recommendation

This family is the absolute best! The campground has tons of shade trees, fantastic playground equipment for the kids, and a sweet family vibe. We full time and have a huge rig, they were so gracious when we arrived and took the time to get to know our family while we were in town. Upon arrival they helped us back our rig perfect into our space. The campground has adorable flower pots all over too. So cute!! We will definitely be back

Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful campgrounds, the management was so helpful getting us backed into our space and explaining the facilities. Very clean bathroom/showers and quiet at night. My family will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

We booked at the Chalet because we couldn't get a site in McCall. We were so happy it turned out this way. We enjoy a more quiet and rural location. The owners were the most friendly and gracious hosts we've had in our long RV experience. We needed a plumbing problem fixed and the owner gave us an excellent recommendation for Dan's Mobile Repair. It saved our trip! The park is well maintained and sites were plenty spacious. It has a great family friendly vibe as well. We will definitely return to this park.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Chalet. We are full time RVers, and were struggling to find monthly site openings during COVID. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this little gem. Rebecca the manager is beyond helpful and I appreciate everything she did for us. The park itself is clean, and a perfect spot for my 4 year old to run around. The open grass, swings, river, and hill provided more than enough room and entertainment. Internet did get a little spotty there for tmobile which made it difficult to achieve some work, but my at&t hotspot worked decently. It wasn't a huge problem for me. I think the only complaint would be for updated washers and dryers. Other than that it's a wonderful park and if I'm ever in the area I would definitely want to stay again.

The location may be right off Highway 55 but it is so set back, you'd never know it, due to the area is so quiet. Staff work hard to keep grounds, buildings clean. (Best bakery in the world is an easy walk up the road too!) But perhaps is THE best selling point of Chalet RV is the staff themselves. Rebecca is the kindest, welcoming and most professional manager we've ever met in our travels. We come here all the way from Utah when we run the river, and we feel like welcomed friends and not just guests. 'It's always a great day at The Chalet!' Thank you!

This place was great. First, they worked with me to get a reservation. I had to move my trailer after the first night, but most places just said they had no availability. They were also going to let me keep it in a tent site for the day while I was off mountain biking (that ended up not being necessary). Second, they came out and assisted backing in the trailer, which was awesome, and this is the only park I've ever had do that. Finally, I had forgotten salt and they have us some, which is a small thing, but speaks to the generosity and kindness of the people that run this park! Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in the area

Have been here for a month. I was nervous about it being right off the road, but we honestly haven't even noticed the road noise. Our kids LOVE the new playground that they put up too. There's not a lot in town (coffee shop, restaurants, church, etc) but it's all within walking distance if you don't mind walking a little bit on the shoulder of the road where the speed limit is 25mph. The washers here are bigger than ones we're use to at RV parks (been living in our RV for almost a year now). Also, the comment about the free laundry must have misunderstood their sign. The new owners were giving away the old washers, dryers, and furniture so had on their sign "Free Washer/Dryer/Furniture".

Great place to tent camp or RV. They had lots of trees and it was very shady where we were at. They have showers and bathrooms. Could use updating but they were still nice. The water was very hot so that s a plus. They had a little area for kids to play and a game room. Looks like no one has used the game room in years. Our group did but it only has a pool table. They had a very nice area to have a fire and they provided the wood. Our group had a really good time. If we come up that wAy again we will stay there Again. (4 stars cause the bathrooms could use some updating and maybe a deep clean)

If we're ever back in this area we are definitely going to stay here again. Super friendly place. They have tent camping as well. Heated bathrooms. A 'game' room, but all they really have is a pool table that's 20 years old and a TV from my great Grandma's house. there's a community fire pit with tables and benches all around and they provide wood.

My star rating is based on all of my families (four of us) overall experience. We arrived on a Sunday evening and left the Following Friday morning. The positive: The resort is well kept. No trash or excessive weeds. Clean, easy access RV/trailer parking. Service hookups work and are easy access. Bathrooms/Showers were antiquated, but function and are regularly attended to. There is a single fire pit that is located in a common area. (for some this could be a negative.) The staff was accommodating and attentive. Upon arrival they were clear on resort rules and expectations. The Negatives: One of the rules for the resort is pets (will) be on a leash, no exceptions, whether they are in their designated campsite or not. There is also a rule that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when inside a designated recreation building. There is also a movie room that has a library of movies for resort patrons to view. All children regardless of age are required to be accompanied by an adult. I understand that we agreed to these terms when we paid to stay here, however...I also subscribe to being a reasonable person and if the staff would have actually took notice to the circumstance during our stay I think our experience would have been more pleasant. My two boys, 15 and 10 yoa, are very well behaved. I am a big proponent of dog obedience. My dog is well behaved. She does not bark, wander, chase other animals and listens to my commands. She poses no threat to other persons or animals. Were were told on two occasions to leash our dog even though she was laying down in our designated camp spot not disturbing. My children behaved themselves, quiet and minding their own business as they were watching a movie and solving a puzzle in the movie viewing area. They were asked to leave because an adult was not present. This resort is NOT pet or kid friendly. My overall observation of the resort is, (we want your business, but if you have children and/or pets please don't leave the inside of your RV.) There were several RVs parked in spaces that did not have persons staying in them. Which in totality, impresses on me that this is not a good (long stay) vacation location, but maybe a consideration for an quick overnight stop.

Easy in easy out, staff was friendly, clean showers with supplied towels, horseshoe pit and swings. Concrete pad but NO picnic table, or BBQ I may of given better review had there been. Sights are very close, good WFI ATT cell worked well. I stayed here in a 32' motorhome with tow and had room in a pull throw sight so did not have to unhook for the night. Nice dog area, I would stay again if I was just passing throw.

Went tent camping, and got stuck in a storm with know where to go. My boyfriend and I showed up at this RV Park late at night and the staff was extremely helpful. We explained how we had no where else to stay, and the guy we talked to let us set up at his RV Park for free. He even came up and checked on us to see if we needed any help setting up our tent in the pouring rain. Great service!

Really great campground, very well-maintained property very, clean all the time. And if you need help with anything All you have to do is ask. The owners, Blake and Monica, are very professional, patient and very kind. Too bad it s not open year-round I highly recommend this RV park
