The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay. We had a large group of family, occupying 4 rooms. I chose a room with 3 queen beds. What a blessing that turned out to be. Two of my cousins stayed in my room and we had a great time talking until the wee hours. The breakfast was better than average selections and choices. Oh, the shower heads were actually tall enough for tall people. Many hotels have short showers and no water pressure. I could go on and on. I appreciate the staff, the entire staff helped me at one point or another during my stay. Thank you, thank you.

We had a great stay. It's a very cute little hotel right off the highway, still far enough to not hear the traffic from inside. We stayed here to visit Tamarak Resort and it was fairly close and easy enough to go back and forth. Only about a 15 minute drive and much more reasonablely priced. It was also nice to be close to a real town so we could buy what we needed without spending a fortune. For the price per night it was an incredible deal. The rooms were nicer than expected. We stayed in a pet room and had no issues. The dining area is very cute and quaint with log tables and a fire place. Breakfast is basic continental but had unique options like breakfast sandwiches and donuts. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable despite how they appear in the pictures.Nearby activities: Tamarack resort super close.Food & drinks: Wine bar down the road is a great place to have a relaxing date! Coffee shop and bakery is also tasty!

The hotel itself is inviting and appears to be well managed. We stay at a LOT of different places on our travels, and we would definitely come back and would recommend Boulder Creek Inn to any and all who just need a comfortable olace to stay. The room we had was really a nice surprise. It was spacious and clean with a rustic country vibe. The kitchenette is really nice, and the beds are comfortable, and the price for the night was very reasonable at around $130.A few complaints:There are no USB charger ports and not a lot of plugins in general around the beds. Having a charging port available for people is a pretty big deal these days, but it's fine if you come prepared.I would like to see some extra pillows and blankets. We always bring pillows, so it was fine for us, but the pillows on the beds are very basic with basic comfort. There are no secondary locks on the doors, which is pretty standard for these rooms, so not having it was a bit disconcerting. The last thing is the breakfast. It opened at 7am, but there were no workers to "open" it. No coffee was made, and the sign that the area was closed was still up after 7 am. There is breakfast, but you have to dink around and fix yourself cereal or oatmeal and so forth. Very basic help yourself style, so I'm not sure why there is even an opening time for it. Breakfast AND the price of the rooms are some of the reasons we chose to stay here, but we were very disappointed in what was available. We drove into McCall for hot coffee and breakfast, which added to our overall cost. Just having coffee made and a waffle machine would have made all the difference.

I was on a work trip and stayed at this hotel with coworkers. We arrived and the sheets on the beds smelled horrible. I complained and they did change the sheets but not after the manager made a comment asking us if we were sure the smell wasn t us. He also made another comment not do drugs in the room . I don t understand why he felt the need to say that and also don t think he would be saying that to any other group of men that didn t look like us. Very unsatisfied with this stay.Noteworthy details: N/A

Boulder Creek Inn has the cleanest rooms and comfortable beds. The staff at the front desk was so friendly and always helpful. This Inn is a gem and so quiet to stay at. The TV has great reception and many channels to enjoy. I enjoyed talking to the owner who was from Chicago as I am. He is a Chicago Cubs fan from the Northside and I am a Chicago White Sox fan from the Southside. I won't hold that against him ! This Inn has all the staff that truly believe in taking care of all who stay there. Great coffee, and good breakfast. Thank you to all at the Boulder Creek Inn. I enjoyed my stay immensely!!!Rooms: Clean, clean, very clean!! Comfy too.

Really nice hotel. Very cute /outdoorsy atmosphere. Obviously short staffed as I had to go look for towels. Very clean. Awesome breakfast! I would give 5 stars other than the towels. Luckily they were available without anyone at the front desk.

Clean room. Spacious. Good coffee. Breakfast was not much. If you are doing something active up here, bring your own breakfast. Incredibly kind staff! We had various attendants during our stay and all great! One staff member had two little frenchies that hung out with her all day greeting the guests. They were so adorable! Spring mattresses, but comfortable.

Super nice people. We enjoyed the stay.. Lite continental breakfast the coffee was good but don't expect anything more than a snack. Room was clean and comfortable not fancy. Bed was soft for my taste but the floor is basically soft for my taste. I would stay there again if I didn't have a cabin to bunk in.

Love this place. The two-burner kitchenette lets me cook healthier and cheaper, with less waste than eating in restaurants. Friendly staff. The biggest thing: I booked four nights (non-refundable as per Expedia) unfortunately I had a change of plans and had to leave after three nights. They only charged me three nights. This was my second visit to the Boulder Creek Inn, and I will definitely stay here again.

We stopped here on our way through Idaho. Excellent customer service. Our room had someone's Togo boxes in the fridge, the coffee filter with grounds still in the coffee pot, and a chip under the bed from prior guests. The room (linens and bathroom) was clean and it a comfortable stay. I honestly believe it was because they were short handed on the few things we did find. If in the area again, we will stop for another stay.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. Big, very functional kitchenette and dining area - everything you could need to make meals in your own room, huge selection of breakfast items downstairs every morning, self-serve ice machine. So very quiet and relaxing there at night too. Large TV with pretty good cable service, and everything was extremely fresh and clean in my room when I checked in. Spent two weeks there for the Census, so I really got to experience the place well. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Super clean room with great kitchenette. Very cute layout and appears to be recently remodeled. Cozy and comfortable bed. The staff are as friendly as they come. I don't highly recommend often but I highly recommend this place. Especially since rooms are twice the price in McCall 20 miles away and most aren't as nice as this place. Donelly is a quaint little town with all necessary amenities. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and spacious. The people were friendly. We had to go ask for soap as there was not any in the room, but that wasn't really a big deal. However, the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. We stayed in the King Suite. The bed was rock hard, and I could feel the springs through the mattress. The pillows were flat. Definitely not worth the money I paid for a nights sleep. We could hear the people above us walking around all night. We will not be staying here again.

NOT Clean. Old run down hotel. Staff folding the towels and sheets in the lobby. Called with a problem in my room and requested the owner/manager call me back. When he did he wouldn t listen to what I was trying to tell him and constantly talked over me the whole time. He told me if I wanted 3 star or better hotel then Boulder Creek Inn is not for me. Can t agree more with that! Then told me to stay at Ashley Inn if I was looking for a NICE Hotel. This was the owner saying his Hotel is less than a 3 Star It was a miserable stay! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

Wonderful experience from reservation to check out. Great breakfast options and reasonable social distance in dining room. We had a kitchenette room that was pet friendly. It was clean with a comfortable bed and fully washable bedding (no creepy comforter!!). We loved the access and welcoming feel that the entire staff provided.

Room was nice and clean. Have pet friendly rooms. Hot shower.Beds left a lot to be desired unfortunately. Mattresses not the most comfortable and pillows really were "lumpy".Have a continental breakfast but it is minimal.
