Papa Jay's is practically the only place to go in the Cache Valley if you want to do something about your small lunch appetite. And: We were pleasantly surprised. Good home-cooked food, a wide range of beef jerky, very friendly people and, as the icing on the cake, a simple geocache. What more do you want?

Took in some mule deer for jerky staff was extremely friendly they re really fast dropped it off on a Thursday and they had it done on Tuesday came from Utah I will say this is the best jerky I ve ever had. I highly recommend.

Employees are kind, food is delicious, jerky is out of this world amazing.I recommend the pepper popper roast beef sandwich and the teriyaki or original flavor jerky.

I love giving them my business. They have a great assortment of products available. They've got grocery items like milk bread and I think eggs. Fuel is always reasonably priced, and usually cheaper than "in town." Always get great service when ordering lunch, friendly atmosphere, and it's fun for the whole family!The Jerky is literally world famous, so go buy some - and don't complain about the price - it's world famous remember!?

If you're looking for a getaway, and you like beef jerky a nice drive to Papa Jay's in Clifton, Idaho would be well worth the time. Head south on I-15 pass Pocatello, Inkom, McCammon, Arimo, exit at the Preston Logan exit on to US 91. Proceed South passed Downey, Downata Hot Springs to Red Rock Pass. Exit US 91 on to State road D1/Westside Hwy to Oxford Idaho, stay on this road past Oxford and onto Clifton Idaho look for Papa J's on your right, local convenience store, gas station, restaurant, and jerky Paradise. Excellent variety of great tasting beef jerky. Especially like the teriyaki and hot jerky varieties. If you proceed South on State road D 1/Westside Hwy through Dayton, Weston Idaho, drive onto Cornish, Trenton, Newton, Utah from Newton go south on state road 23 to hwy 38 then on too Logan, Utah. Enjoy.

Best jerky in the state if not the whole country and its also a plain out good store with nice employees.Also they give samples of all the jerky which is really coolIt deserves a full 10/10 on my list

The beef jerky is so delicious! It is a tradition for us to come here at least once a year. The prices have jumped up quite a bit since they have expanded, so be prepared to pay a decent amount of money for a small amount of jerky. It is so worth it though!

The day I went out to Papa Jay 's it was their 22 B-Day!! It was fun being there! My husband had their cheeseburger, I had their roast beef, dang it was REALLY TASTY!!! The service there was AWESOME, so friendly, kind, they made me feel like I was along lost family member. I WILL BE BACK!!!

Jerky is addicting, no other jerky compares after tasting this jerky. I was addicted by Papa Jay himself, when he was alive going to the Wells Fargo Bank in Preston on West Oneida Street. And now they have ghost and Carolina pepper jerky that's awesome. I am going to to buy some TODAY !!!!!!!

Great small town gas station, convince store, and restaurant. They offer compressed air and Co� for paint ball guns. The small restaurant part of the store cooks the food on site. The food is great, they offer shredded roast beef sandwiches, hamburgers, fish sandwiches, and curly french fries etc..The convince part of the store has amazing and one of a kind jerky. They also offer a fair amount of candy, drinks, ice cream, and alcoholic beverages to choose from.The store features bathrooms but I was told that they weren't the best.Gas prices are 10� - 20� higher then a gas station in a more urbanized area.Also this is a great place to go if your fishing, swimming, boating, or whatever at Twin Lakes.8/10

I heard that this is the place to go for some of the best jerky out there and it didn't disappoint.I also ordered some sandwiches and I have to say that this is one of those 'hole in the wall' places that you'll want to revisit.

Good food , good place to stop for snacks and great jerky. Need to get with the times and allow customers to use their wifi while staying to eat though.
