The service was great; reception and check-in seamless and welcoming, as was check-out (I like to return keys personally). The room was clean and warm. The windows could use heavier drapes to block more light at night. The location is on the main drag, but night time traffic is light to none, at least in late winter when we stayed there. Overall a great experience and worth a return stay. Besides, if you are interested in riding lower sections of the Weiser River Trail, the Frontier is well situated for trail access.

Had to wait hours to have the water turned on to the room. One flush is all you had with the toilet until water was turned onto the room. Carpets and vinyl bathroom floors were water covered (carpets soaked) from previous day or same day of carpet and floor cleaning. Heater system was difficult to figure out, but the assistant manager just happened to walk by and came in to figure it out.. Assistant manager was very helpful but was not able to understand (unaware of) of the water shut off and wet conditions inside the room. One of the worst experiences on my many travels with lodging in rural town settings in my home state. I should have continued on the extra hour of nighttime driving to a town with more than on motel. The owner did not even offer a discount off the $102 charge. It should have been a $50 charge and not a penny more for this room that was pet friendly where I had my puppy constantly wet from the soaking carpets. Ugh, Continue on! Do not stay here!

We stayed 12 days at the RV portion of the property. Small but nice. Clean restroom and laundry facilities. We did not need to use the restrooms as we used ours in the RV but, nice to know they were clean if we needed them. Also reasonable prices. Convenient walking distance to a small market, very nice coffee shop and a library. Owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here if ever in the area again.

The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. In previous years lived too close to stay but always loved reading the number of good and grumpy guests on their sign every time we drove by. Now it is the perfect in between spot to meet our kids. The room with 3 beds was the perfect size for our family. This is where we will now be having our yearly family Christmas sleep over.

We always stay at the Frontier when fishing up in Brownlee. The rooms are very clean and the owners always do their best to make sure all your needs are met. I would highly recommend giving them a tryThe Grants

Room was dated but very clean. Good sized refrigerator, microwave and small coffee maker. Outstanding baseboard heat. Small table with two chairs. Carpet was not worn.Huge step up into the room, very difficult to navigate for senior citizens. No grab bar or anything. I struggled with it every time I went in and out of the room.Limited parking in front of the rooms, usually someone parked in front of my door.Excruciatingly slow Wi-Fi and when I tried to buy an upgrade it didn't work.I would stay there again. Some street noise but that can't be helped because of highway 95 and truck traffic.

I love staying here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I often travel through here for dog trials and always look forward to a good night's sleep on the way.Rooms: Comfortable beds clean and roomy.

We came into town for a weekend for a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. The pool and hot tub were great although the sign on the front that said how many happy customers served didn t change daily, and we were very satisfied Food & drinks: This area is low on restaurants Pack food

Nick and MacKenzie are AMAZING owners, always friendly, we moved here in March to a vacant property, with no water or electricity and it has been the perfect place to stay and clean up and enjoy TV, aka "The Cowboy Channel" .. The rooms are always super clean,, quiet and relaxing. Great family run business. We would definitely recommend any travelers to stop and stay at their motel. Shane & Lisa

The pictures on their website are exactly what they are in real life. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was. Pillows were great. Microwave and mini fridge was a plus. The room was immaculate. There was a dispenser of shampoo/soap/conditioner in the shower/tub. Great idea.The location is excellent. It is in the heart of all the recreational activities. The three days I stayed there were just perfect. But the best part was meeting a very beautiful woman at the front desk named MacKenzie (spelling?) who also had an equally beautiful charming personality. And to top that off I met her husband and three young boys. THIS is the heart of the entire property. I felt blessed to stay there. They could have charged more and I would have happily paid it. Thanks so much!

We really loved staying at the Frontier Motel! The owners greeted us personally and were incredibly courteous, and the room was super cute and clean. We will definitely be returning!Walkability: As Cambridge goes, this is hands-down the most walkable overnight stay facility in town.

I just recently stayed at the frontier motel in Cambridge she changed the date of my reservation because I guess I picked the wrong day she was very understanding and really helped me because I had drove almost 2 hours the rooms were super super clean plenty of towels very very quiet and on check out with super nice I definitely will be staying there again because I have a new person in my life that actually lives there in Cambridge and will definitely be coming up there a lot more so this is one place that I will definitely recommend staying at if you're ever traveling on 95 towards McCall or 95 towards Ontario... I was on a business networking motorcycle trip. A couple of wrong turns had us rolling into Cambridge right before dark. Not wanting to ride an hour plus in the dark and miss the scenery, we found this place.The room was clean and spacious. Everything worked as it should. Even had a couple of old washcloths in the room to get the bugs off our windshields. The room did have a bit of a musty - closed up smell to it that quickly went away.Front desk was efficient and helpful.I look forward to staying again.

We spent two nights at the Frontier Motel. I will say I wasn t sure what to expect with the room as I had stayed in Cambridge the year before and remembered seeing the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious, very clean, great shower and the air conditioning was set at 66 when we arrived. It was at least 100 outside and I thought, like most hotels we would have to cool the room off before it was comfortable but no, it was already cooled off and very comfortable. Just to express how accommodating the owners were . Our son and daughter in law were dry camping at the fair grounds and they went over to the room for a cool down and a nice shower; which they were grateful for. We will stay again if we are lucky enough to be in that beautiful area of the country again. Thanks for your hospitality it was appreciated.

We stayed at the Frontier Motel before going on a river rafting adventure. The staff was very cheerful, friendly, and even helped us make arrangements to shuttle our car to the river take-out location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fresh. The swimming pool was also nice and refreshing. We highly recommend this motel. A family owned and operated business that provides wonderful service!

Stayed here before our Hells Canyon Rafting trip. This place is a real gem. The owner was the definition of welcoming. The room was very clean. The AC worked great. The "river trail" goes right by the place. The general store is a stone's throw away. If nothing else, stay to be a part of this young couple's dream to take over their parent's business and see it grow to be even more successful.

Overnight stay on a motorcycle trip. We arrived early and were able to check in. Room was large and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well with decent pressure and hot water. Minor issue with the door lock which the owner (?) assured us would be addressed. Friendly staff and town. Services in town are limited but those they have are quite nice. Overall great value.

In the past eight years, officers and employees of Parker Buildings, Inc. in Hubbard, Oregon, have stayed at the Frontier Motel on numerous occasions. The rooms have been clean and refreshed. My son and I stayed here before our Hell's Canyon rafting trip. The service we received was amazing!For example, when we were leaving, we had a problem with our car and needed a jump start (twice). They were so helpful and accommodating and we were able to get home. We are very thankful!Highly recommended!

Quick in an out before loading into a van and going on a rafting trip. Never actually met anyone but over the phone they could not have been more helpful. As usual our group had odd requests and this company accomodated every one without question. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area. we arrived late and the rooms and keys were ready. All communication via text and never missed a beat.Great job thank you.
