I went in Saturday 4/13 to get an oil change. They suggested I should get new windshield wipers and I said yes. Everything was great until today 4/15. It was raining while I was on the freeway and it was the first time I used my wipers since I got them Saturday. Well the driver s side broke off after the first wipe. It flew off and I couldn t get it since I was on the freeway.

Update: I was in a pinch and needed the oil changed in my truck today (saturday). I sat there for an hour and a half and I was the 3rd car in line... they were conversing about how they got the wrong car in the system for the previous car and were trying to figure out if they put the wrong oil in it... ... I don't think I will be back.Place was pretty busy on a weekday but I really needed an oil and fuel filter change. Staff was friendly enough and service was good. They didn't have a fuel filter. I am giving them 3/5 because the tech putting oil in the vehicle was not paying attention as he brought the filler nozzle to the car. He dripped oil down the side of my car, all over the engine bay... I am not expecting red carpet service but you could have at least wiped it off. I would take a chance and go back here again if I really needed a change.

I have 100% peice of mind with these guys. I have been up and down the coast and seen all sorts of other shops. Valvoline never disappoints. They are always honest, direct, kind, hard working guys. This one is no short of the company standard. They are the only ones that were willing to flush our transmission. Other shops in town said it wasn't possible because they didnt want the inconvenience. These guys did it. Did it beautifully. I have had my oil changed, coolant done and transmission flushed at this location. Honestly I regret going to Walmart for the battery replacement. These guys are honest which is a must when you aren't a car person. Will be back

Linda was very pleasant and kind. Very one woking on 6/4 was fast and getting the jobs gone. Both my cars needed oil change I was going to wait for the 2nd vehicle till next week or so but with this great of a team I decided to bring my 2nd vehicle same day. I m always very impressed with this location. They re always eager to help with knowledge and understanding about my vehicle and they don t try to upsell me and treat me like I m dumb valid customer not like some oil change places. I really appreciate that.

Been coming here for a while now, Michel and Justin are great service pros they get the oil change done quick and when it comes to other services my old truck needs they are very informative and offer the services in a non pushy way.

From my experience I would stay away from this location. I got my oil changed on June 4th 2022. I have never had my oil leak after I changed it or the dealership. Well they can't seem to do the job correctly. I have went back twice since the oil change and it still leaks. It's irritating when I'm wasting my time and money going back to get the problem fixed and the problem remains. Oil is all over the bottom of my truck which I am not happy with. They have horrible customer service and has not been a pleasant experience.

This plaxe broke my navigator, got talked into doing a transmission service and they broke off the dipstick into the transmission and handed me the bolt in my hand then told me it must have already been broken, made me drive home with and assured me no transmission oil would leak out but hey it did. They refused to take responsibility so I would avoid this place if you dont want to have to pay a lawyer and wait a really long time to get things resolved. Worst establishment for our community. It was 700.00 to get it fixed. Do not try and deny it either valvoline I have videos and reciepts.Inregards to their comment, if the store does not want to take responsibility they will not make them its a joke, I filed a claim and the lady actually laughed at me on tje call saying the manager said because in the video it didnt seem lile it took that much force to break the bolt that they were not responsible. Like what are you serious. My car worked when I went to get the service that they talked me into might I add and then when I left I had a none working vehicle and got laughed at.

I recently went in for a oil change on my vehicle in which they performed. When I was leaving the shop they handed me some papers stating what they had done on my vehicle, what components of the car they checked, and some recommended changes on the vehicle. When I went through I double checked that they serviced my vehicle and it turns out they didn t check and other parts of the car. They changed the oil but didn t check my levels on anything else on the car. They said my car was fine but when I checked on my front lights they no longer worked. My fluid levels were checked off as all good but upon further inspection they were over filled or extremely low. I have photos of the service papers they gave me. Very poor service.Service: Oil change

Everytime I go in, I m treated with smiles and jokes. Nothing beats feeling like family when getting your car serviced. I was about to spend $200 to have an oil leak looked at on my Dodge Ram 1500 from a dealership. These awesome techs at Valvoline noticed that it was just a seal leak on the filter and changed my oil and cleaned up the mess from the leak. These guys pay attention to details and I appreciate them going the exta mile to clean up a mess that wasn't their problem. thanks guys!

So i went in to get my vehicle an oil changed today and the service was ok till Patrick was being so rude and then was checking my air filter and asked to replace it and i said no then through it on top on the engine that was not ok never coming back to this location

First experience wasn t the worst. Next time I came in, they didn t have an oil filter for my car. They said they never service Volkswagen. So I had them order me a filter for the next week I came in and they said they had already used it. Took it to another shop and found out that displays had stripped out my drain plug the last time they did my oil change. My girlfriend went back to this place because I didn t tell her about the bad experience got her oil changed and luckily I look because they didn t tighten the oil filter and it was leaking oil like a sieve. Definitely wouldn t recommend this place if you want your car to keep running.

Had my oil change done quickly. Only thing to keep in mind is that they will try to sell you multiple items you might not need. I understand that's their job but some get rather pushy about it.

Sent our 17 yr old daughter in for a basic oil change. Even though we had been there before, the workers decided to take advantage and sell her the most expensive oil change they had to offer. They did NOT explain the options she had. Simply asked if she wanted the oil change. We were charged just under $100! For nothing more than an oil change! Her car currently has over 100k miles on it, so we understand high mileage oil changes are recommended, but we were trying to stay within budget and decided to stick with a min this time!I feel they cheated her out of money and we definitely wouldn t recommend this place if this is how they are going to provide services.Service: Oil change

Waited in the line they sent me too. Waited for 26 minutes outside while the person that pulled in ten minutes after me pulled in before me. Pretty frustrating. So I backed out and went elsewhere. Also the girl that checked in the other customers did a light/ blinker check. The kid that checked me in was just worried about flipping his scan tool and trying to be cool. DEFINITELY WONT GO BACK HERE.

**Edit**After talking with people knowledgeable about lab testing, apparently this will not tell me what I need to know. I guess I will just take this as a lesson, another notch on the lack of faith in humanity belt. As far as the generic response from the "owner" goes, talking with the shop would do nothing. Read the Google reviews, not the reviews on their website as they obviously cherry pick the good ones. The more I dwell on this I really wonder what kind of damage was done to the engine in our car. At todays car prices it is infuriating.I always change my own oil, but it was winter and oil change was due. Our Mazda requires 0-20 synthetic oil. A few days after the change, I noticed the engine sounded noisier and did not run as smooth. Put it off as cold weather and ran it for a couple months. I changed it myself this weekend, used specified oil and magically the car runs smoother and quieter as before. It only has 60k miles on it and has been serviced on time always. Also fuel mileage is back to where it was according to on board computer. I do not believe the proper oil was used, I specifically asked for 0-20 full synthetic. I am sending a sample of the oil to an independent lab and see what they say. If it is improper oil, there is going to be a problem. If it is the proper oil then I guess my car hates Valvoline. I cannot recommend this establishment.Also, the oil filter was so tight it was impossible to remove without crushing it with giant channel locks, and the undercar factory skid plate was reinstalled improperly.Service: Oil change

Three gentleman worked on my vehicle while I remained in it. In no time the services I drove in for were accomplished. In addition, they provided bonus services like lights and battery check, windshield wiper fluid refill and engine air filter inspection. I was treated like royalty with professional courtesy not seen in many auto service centers. I highly recommend the Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Caldwell and will go back there again when needed.

I arrived and was able to pull in immediately. The worker was nice but every time she would ask a question she would say "sorry about that sir". She then said they were short staffed but I felt they were doing ok until the same employee couldn't get the oil filter off and asked for help then started getting upset, tossed her gloves to the ground and said she quits. The service did take longer than expected and at the end I had to ask them to check the tire levels as they normally would do as part of the service. Same employee again says, sorry sir I totally forgot that. All in all not bad but they could have used an extra hand and towards the end they yelled to another employee who was upstairs on break or just not doing anything.

I've used this place multiple times with zero issues. Now I sent my wife in and they've put 3qt of oil vs 4.5 that's needed and destroyed 2 sensors on her nissan murano 05. A 40 dollar oil change cost me that 40 and 160 more in sensors and no one will answer the phone. Thats bad business.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The oil change itself was relatively quick and easy and the staff was friendly enough. But omg they are horrible with communicating prices.They replaced the cabin air filter for me, didn't quote me a price even when I asked and then charged me $50!!! Rip off! If they had quoted me a price there's no way I would have had them replace it. I would have gone down to the store, spent $10 and done the job myself.Super uncool guys.I won't be coming back with personal vehicles or our work vehicles.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Asked for an oil change and radiator flush, they only did an oil change and simply did not do a radiator flush. Manager then lied saying I refused that service even though I asked for it. They likely just didn't want to do it because of how busy it was, but that shouldn't mean lying about how I refused service.

I had a great experience today with the girl who was working this morning. She was very polite, informative, and didn t try and to push me into buying anything I didnt want.. (which has ALWAYS been an annoyance from other locations). She was very straight forward, polite, and explained the process as it was happening. Besides the high prices, they will attempt to up charge you at every turn. Even on a practically new car, they ll still attempt to sell you every package they offer. A prime example is charging $55 for a cabin air filter that costs $20 and takes 30sec to install. They also put the oil sticker in my car saying it s only good for 3000 miles and 3 months despite being their best oil and full synthetic. If you go here, be prepared for them to try and sell you everything they can for way more than they should.Service: Oil change

Took our truck in for an oil change recently. We never had any issues with oil leaking and would of noticed since we have a new driveway. After the oil change we noticed oil leaking so my husband took it back. They claimed it was leftover oil that was not cleaned up so they wiped it off and sent him on his way. Needless to say the oil leak is nonstop now! Never had any issues when having it changed at the dealer and now this! Scared to take it back again to have them "fix" it but feel we deserve to have our truck as good as it was before going here.Service: Oil change

The crew here at Valvoline on Cleveland Blvd was very nice,helpful and informative. They completed our oil change in a timely manner.
