Great service by a knowledgeable staff! The crew here are awesome. They understood the importance of my vehicle and had my rebuild done so quickly I barely noticed my truck was gone. The bill was affordable and they are very honest with pricing. I will absolutely be back if my truck needs more work and 100% recommend to others! Thank you General Automatic Transmission!

This wasn't the first place I called for a quote. It's was the 4th. Called in looking for help, my truck lost its reverse gear. So I asked a best case/worst case scenario at all of the shop. I got some pretty drastic differences on a couple of them, and a couple they were just a couple hundred dollar differences. But in the end, Darren and his amazing team gave me the best quote AND was able to squeeze me in immediately(I got lucky I think, they are busy indeed) they dropped the pan it was clear to see that there was more damage going on in there that the eye wasn't seeing. Full transmission rebuild needed to be done. Basically had my truck back in 2 full business day. Great team doing amazing work for a fair price. They will get my vote any day to anyone needing transmission work. Please everyone remember though, time isn't always going to be as quick as it was for me and my truck, but I promise you they will try. G.A.T. for the win!

Excellent place to work with. I am loving my 700R4 in my Nova. The staff at GT are knowledgeable and very helpful. I always feel like family when coming in. Plus it s always nice to talk cars with other Gear Heads.

I'm taken two cars on two separate occasions to General automatic transmission the service was outstanding they were very knowledgeable and courteous. The first car I took in they did a transmission rebuild and the car is running great. Recently have taken in a car that had a leaky hose which I investigated in the price it gave me was not only adequate but below adequate. The car was in and out the same day with a smile and under eighty bucks.

Called these guys because they had a 100% 5 star rating, and let me tell ya 5 stars isn't enough. They got me in the same day, no hassle. They are nice, and they have a great sense of humor. Definitely coming back.

The guys (Darron, Miguel & Chris) are hilarious, sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. They always get my car back to working order, even when it has nothing to do with my transmission. It's a great family-owned business.

I took my car to General Transmission because the transmission was leaking. They quoted me a price and when the job was done they were very close to the estimate. I went to them because another mechanic that I trust recommended them for transmission work. After dealing with General Transmission, I will gladly recommend them to anyone that asks. Honest and trustworthy, the two things that you need in a mechanic.

Darron, Chris and Miguel provided First Class service on our GMC truck. We were returning to California when the transmission started leaking fluid. We were stuck in town with a broken transmission and nowhere to park our RV while getting the transmission repaired. Though very busy with plenty of other jobs they gave us priority, a place for our RV and worked till the early evening to get us back on the road. They showed us the problems with our unit and installed a re-manufactured transmission from GMC, in order to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. They also took care of several other potential problems in the process and were very honest and professional. We highly recommend them for their services.Mark and Sharon E.
