I got there at 8:00 am which was my appointment time. I was immediately greeted with a smile as they took no time in getting my car back in the shop. There was also an adorable pup, (12 year old pomeranian) Jade, that was all too willing to get a couple pats. That was my first indication that this was going to be a different experience than the typical "automotive service experience." The two ladies, one the receptionist and the other the owner, both asked me repeatedly if there was anything they could get me and was offered some homemade chocolate chip cookies, yum! They then offered to get me where ever I needed or wanted to go. Talk about hospitality! I opted to stay even though I knew it would be about a two hour process, a transmission flush, oil change and inspection (they had warned me before I went in and when I had gotten there). My car was finished in the exact time frame promised even after the guys had to run and get a different fluid for my vehicle. The gals there were amazing, fun to talk to and very concerned with my comfort and happiness. Great ladies to talk with and made me feel right at ease. The cherry on top was that the guys took the car for a test drive to get everything running through and topped all the fluids off! Fantastic. Amazing service, amazing prices, we found our new shop!

I was on a road trip about to head off grid camping and pulled in randomly with a vibration that had recently started in my camper van. i had no cell service and just saw the 4x4 shop and pulled in. They were busy but listened to my situation and said Brian would go on a drive with me to see what he thought. As soon as we got up to 65mph and felt the vibration he had an idea. We came back and put the van on the lift. He showed me my transfer case was shot and the drive shaft was vibrating bad (could have snapped or messed up my transmission bad). Could have been really bad heading out hrs from a town. They were extremely helpful getting parts and squeezing me in knowing I was stuck there from out of town. We left the van with them and rented a car for our weekend trip. They finished up the repair as soon as the parts came in and we were back on the road with the van driving smooth. 10/10 would recommend!

They were really busy but managed to get my truck back to me in a reasonable time. The cost of work performed was substantially less than anticipated. These guys are amazing. They do everything they can to make your vehicle running. The guys in the shop are extremely knowledgeable and know what they are doing. I had them completely rebuild my engine along with taking it in and out. The ladies up front are very helpful and just great. Everyone there knows what they are doing and is very kind and helpful. They charged me a great price and they also were very kind. This is the place to go!

We can t say enough about the shop. Jenny Dennis Rhonda and the crew are all awesome. We had to have a whole engine replaced and several other things. Best shop in Caldwell Idaho. We appreciate everything you guys have done for the Holmes family we love you and thank you.

Over priced and didn't listen to what I wanted.Charged for 6 hours for a job that should of been done in 2.5 hours. Over $750 to set the timing on my car. Plus it took over 2 weeks after they messed up the appointment on their books.I would not recommend this shop!Update...Drove the car for the first time today, first of the AC isn t working and it was when I dropped it off.After driving for a few miles an engine light came on and the car will barely run.So basically I had to pay over $750 for them to screw up my car.

I only needed to go in for a smog, but the office was comfortable during the short visit. The staff was friendly and they got me in and out quickly. I would definitely check this place out again if I needed my car worked on.

Had them replace Ujoints and fix the door lock. Dropped my truck off and agreed upon a time they would be done. Didn't hear from them at the agreed time so I called them. They were not able to look at the invoice or their computer with my phone number and dial it correctly. They just kept dialing the wrong number. When I finally picked up my truck, the door lock did not function correctly. I took it back and the mechanic came out and said if it still would not work right he would fix it again. Then they called and told me my check was returned for insufficient funds. I went in and paid them and showed them there were sufficient funds in my account and that their bank had not sent the check through to my bank. They refused to contact their bank to correct the matter and told me to do it. So, their administrative staff are as poor as their mechanics.

The only place around that really understands how to earn business. My 11 dollar emissions test was treated with as much respect as the guy getting $1100 worth of work done. Great place great service.

They lie about everything. Do not believe a word the lady says.I was told they install quality Moog parts. That is not true.They installed cheap parts, shocks for a car in my 4 x 4 truck. and now the front brakes are bad.The previous owner of my truck told me he was charged $500 for complete rear brakes, he had to go there 3 times and they don't work right.I had another repair shop troubleshoot my truck and found that they install cheap parts (junk) They charged me $3000 to screw up my front end and brakes.Run away... she is lying.===================================After leaning on them for cheating me, they offered to install some of the lower cost parts with quality Moog parts. They keep trying to screw me.Stay away from this place. There is no end to their crooked behavior.

I am an active duty military member that was in town for only a few days and was trying to get my vehicle's emissions tested. The vehicle is stored and had not been driven in a few years, I had to replace the battery to get it started. Although I told them this when I called, they failed to mention that I needed to drive the vehicle for a few days before they could test it. When I got there and was talking to the tech who said they would not be able to pass the vehicle because the ECU had not reset itself. They told me not to worry about anything though, because once I paid the fee I could have it retested until it passed. They said that it might pass so we went ahead and tested the vehicle. It did not pass. They said I needed to go out and let the vehicle run for about an hour and then it should pass just fine. I drove the vehicle about 50 miles and came back a few hours later to have the vehicle tested again. It failed again... I was told to take the vehicle and drive it and let it sit overnight and have a cold start cycle and to bring it back the next day and we should be fine.When I got back the next day I was told that the person who tests the vehicles is not there and I needed to come back in 30 minutes. I came back in 35 minutes and when I got there I was told I needed to pay again...? I told the same lady, who I worked with the day before, that I had paid the day before and she said that did not matter now that payment was only good for the first two tests. I was a bit confused because we had talked about this the day before and I had specifically mentioned that I was staying in Boise and did not want to return unless I could get multiple tests until the vehicle passed. I could have went to multiple other locations that were much closer then driving all the way back out to the west side of Caldwell to have them try to charge me again when they already told me that retest were free until the vehicle passed...I am exceptionally frustrated because they pulled a bait and switch. I went to another shop maybe 5-10 minutes later, and they ran a diagnostic on the vehicle before they ran the test and were able to tell me exactly what was going on with the vehicle and ran the test in the vehicle past just fine. Additionally, the other shop did not charge me for the test because of the trouble I went through with this shop... they just made a life-long customer out of me, while this shop ensureed that I would never recommend or take my own vehicles to them ever again.Look for another shop before taking your vehicle here.

Took my truck in for quite a few things since it was an older truck and not been maintained over the years. I was able to leave the truck over the weekend with using the "overnight drop box" (they have envelopes you write what services you want, put your key in it and place it in a secured box) and received a call at about 0900 Monday morning with some of the diagnoses done already. The truck was there a week (its not a daily driver so it was fine) and I got a call about every morning updating me on my cost. I picked the truck up and it runs far better than when I dropped it off, and the price was less than what I had expected, even with quotes daily. I will definitely be coming back here. THANK YOU!*They are closed on weekends (I saw online somewhere it said they were open on Saturdays) and they close for lunch daily**

Wonderful people! Always fair. Great work and they stand behind everything! We don t go to anyone else! You can trust them with anything you need done, especially in tough times like now. I wouldn t go anywhere else!

Horrible customer service. I feel that the front desk lady was trying to convince me not to bring my business in. I was told I had fried wiring & need to replace a module. I took my vehicle to a competitor because no one followed up with me to schedule an appointment and found i had NO fried wiring and there was no need replace my module. If i wasn't so lazy I would report them to the BBB.

The work they do had always been good. 99 Chevrolet Suburban, 94 Chevrolet pickup, 06 Chevrolet Duramax diesel pickip, 91 Chevy Corvette. They've worked on all of them and did good work. Car is never greasy or smerched when I pick it up. Prices not a steal but better than a dealership by a significant margin. I'll go back and I recommend it to you.Highly recommended.

I asked if they could replace my tie rod ends and inner tie rods with an alignment. They preceded to tell me my ball joints were bad even though i just replaced them two weeks ago. I asled them why my ball joimts were bad and they said it was because i bought them from napa. Confused and mad i asked them to give me a quote on tie rods and an alignment, which is what i only wanted in the first place and they said it was going to cost 400 dollars. I told them i would just do it my self and that i would be there to pick my truck up after work. The lady at the front desk told me they were going to charge me 50$ for a shake down that i didnt ask for! SERIOUSLY DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE THEY WILL STEEL YOU MONEY AND YOUR RADIO!!!

I feel like it's expensive BUT always worth it! Other shops sometimes miss things and I have to take the car back to repair the repair. These guys are always spot on, great service very knowledgeable, outstanding repair shop.
