When my dogs and I found myself with a bad transmission in my RV 2500 miles from home over a holiday weekend Rick never hesitated to come to my aid. From the first phone call I knew I had called the right place. Rick opened up his shop on his day off and delivered me the unfortunate news that the transmission would need to be replaced. He offered to let me camp at his shop for the night and even ran me an extension cord so I had power. The next morning, Rick gathered the estimates and helped me check into a near by RV park. For the next week, Rick gave me frequent updates on the shipment of the transmission while I enjoyed the stunning Burley/Heyburn area. Once delivered it took Rick less than a day to install the transmission and I was back on the road later that day and was able to get home to NY on schedule. Rick and his workers are a blessing.

In the beginning, Rick seemed to be knowledgeable and accommodating. Unfortunately whenever I had an issue with his work, he was always blaming someone else for the issue, and was somewhat heated about it. I had to have him rebuild my transfer case twice and still had problems with it. Would not recommend doing business there.

Rick went far above my expectations when my transmission went out on a Sun while they were closed. Sent a tow truck to pick up my car and met us at the shop. Gave me a ride to the motel. Got right to work on it for me so I could get back to WA from OK. The work he does is top quality. He kept me informed and showed me everything that was damaged. He also pointed out a few other issues with my car. He's a straight shooter. Gave me a great warranty. You can't go wrong taking your car to him. I ran out of transmission fluid outside of burley and had it towed in to mountain transmission even on a weekend he was able to get me road ready fast and efficiently. Rick did a great job rebuilding my transmission. He was always available to answer any questions I had. He was more than willing to show me exactly which parts needed replaced and show me why. And he also was fair and honest with his prices. He even called to let me know that he accidentally quoted me twice for a part. Very honest man, and so far so good on the transmission.Plus his work comes with a warranty!

One of those bad warning lights (not the Washer Fluid is Low) came on while we were driving from Salt Lake to Boise. We pulled off the road, did a little research, called the dealer, etc., etc. In short, found out we should get the car towed to the nearest shop.Mountain Transmission popped up first and it had some solid reviews. It was late on a Friday. Rick said it wasn't a problem and to call when we got our car towed into this shop. His assistant manager met us there. Rick said he could drop in on Saturday to diagnose the car, but we'd have to wait until Monday if any repairs were needed: He really went out of his way to help. His assistant went out of his way as well -- they drove us to the other side of town where we could be picked up by others in our group.True to his word, Rick checked it out. Thankfully, all was well. He made it possible for us to get our car on Sunday afternoon. And he refused to charge us for it -- so indebted to this good man and his assistant. Incredible integrity and charity.

Truck broke down last night. Towed in after hours. I met Rick this morning and he has promised a diagnosis and repair plan in about 1 hour I am very impressed. Rick has been great thus far. (Update soon)

Took my vehicle here when I lost all power. Figured I'd lost another transmission. I travel for work and although he was extremely busy Rick got me in for a diagnosis first thing in the morning. (I'd shown up at closing time the night before) A look at it showed that wasn't the problem. He recommended another shop and I was able to get the problem fixed. Fair and honest man. Wouldn't even charge me for his time. Thank you sir!

Rick was absolutely awesome. Incredibly Thorough. Only does high quality and makes sure you are safe on the road. Cleaned my truck before he gave it back. Great warranty. Highly impressed.
