Finally decided to stay here! The nicest area was the pool. Our room was musty smelling and old. The window unit is beyond disgusting. The blanket/comforter had quite a few cigarette burns in them. We really couldn't tell if the sheets were fresh or not, they did have some stains on them. It would be nice when you update your rooms if you updated everything including the bedding and mattress. It did the job for the amount of time we were there. The person behind the counter was very nice. Even an old inn has potential!

My wife booked a room for us to stay in for the night. She lives in Utah, I am here staying with family for the mean time. We wanted privacy. But because I have a local ID, they would not rent to us. They don't accept locals!! How stupid is that policy? Money is money regardless of whether you are local or not. That has got to be the dumbest policy ever!!!The budget motel has forever lost these costumers.I guess the name fits!!

I have stayed at this motel many times over the last 3 months.Rooms were clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, and extras were always offered freely if I asked.Staff was always helpful and friendly.I have had several different staff members help me, and I like them all.I do have one nagging question...I noticed room rates are listed around $65.00, but I am always charged at least a total of $102.50, regardless of my length of stay.That appears to be an unfair business practice.What supports the lower rate?I am a repeat customer, but I never receive these 'discount' rates.Rooms: Room was always clean and well stocked.Never had to ask for supplies.Walkability: Local shopping is less than 15 minutes away, as are fuel and places to eat.

We got in about 6:30 this morning we ended up leaving before our 1pm late check out but very nice cozy motel staff was amazing very pleasant.. they have the most beautiful pool water very clean of course I couldn t swim it s October but it was very inviting.. the rooms are nice beds and pillows are great.. this place was full of guests they offer late check out and a nice breakfast definitely recommend.. and it s safe we had a 24 foot enclosed cargo trailer no worries at allRooms: Very clean smelled nice lots of coffee and cups towels had a fridge and microwave very nice comfortable rooms great water pressure clean bathroomNearby activities: There seems to be lots of nearby activities as well as during the warmer months there is a nice pool and places to sit and have a drink or coffee atSafety: Felt safe and staff was available all hoursWalkability: Easy to walk around steps are nicely done nothing is a tripping hazardFood & drinks: You re within walking distance of several restaurants and gas stations they do have vending machines

My experience with motels is usually not well, but this time around it was surprisingly good. Everything in the room feels clean and looks appealing, the bathroom is better than most motels i ve stayed in, and the service is great. I feel like it sets the standard of what a motel should offer as far as cleanliness, service, and quick food options nearby.Its super convenient that there is a few gas stations and truck stops just outside in nearby parking lots too. To summarize I would definitely recommend to stay here if you re passing through town and need something that is well priced and has quick access to get back on the road.Walkability: Multiple fast food options within a few minutes of a walking.

I had quite the unsettling experience here and feel the situation could have been handled much more appropriately by staff.I arrived at my room after checking in to find both beds looked as if they had been sat on and the bathroom light was on. I was in the room for less than five minutes before I received a knock on the door from another female guest who claimed she recently left my room and she was missing a wallet, asking to search the room. She said the hotel staff sent her back to the room to ask me after she moved rooms. ( This is inappropriate to ask of a guest and to the privacy of the new guest) she was not accompanied by staff and I felt uncomfortable as a solo traveler but did allow her to search briefly. She left after a minute and did not find the wallet. Minutes later her husband presented to the room and demanded to search my entire room, swearing, and calling me profanities. I accidentally locked myself out of my room during the incident and tried calling the front desk to come and assist me as I was extremely uncomfortable and felt unsafe. No one answered the phone and I went to the front desk to report the incident and the fact there was an aggressive strange man, a guest, demanding to enter my room. I requested to be moved and the staff did accommodate that. Security took a while to present. While it is not the fault of the hotel for this guest's behavior, I am disappointed with how the matter was handled. I do feel the guest should have been asked to leave and if the staff did direct the couple to come to my room to request to enter unaccompanied by staff or security, this is incredibly alarming. My safety as a solo traveler was jeopardized. The room also had not been tidied after the prior guests had moved rooms for whatever reason. I entered the aftermath of disheveled linens and a used bathroom.

BEWARE WHEN STAYING HERE! I had the overall worst experience I had ever had when staying at a hotel or motel(7/14/23-7/16/23). Long story short budget motel charged my debit card for $972 when they were only supposed to take $320 for the accidental deposit and at first they said they could not give me my money back because they had no record of it.The lady was very rude when I tried explaining, I did swipe my card when I checked in. I told her to check the cameras, but she said she can t and only managers can check cameras but of course they were all on vacation at the same time. The only way I was able to get my money back was when I called a police officer. We could not wait for a manager to come back from their vacation, because we had to go back home to California to work. Once the police officer came, the lady working the front desk all of a sudden found a manager to come in. At first she said she could not find it and there s nothing she can do until the owner came back, an hour after the police officer left I got a call saying they found my debit card on file and it would take 5 business days to Receive.Until now I still have not received a call from the owner to apologize for the huge inconvenience and the error one of his employees did that caused my vacation to be ruined.I would not recommend staying here.

Great place to stay, close to everything rooms are spacious and prices are competitive. But what really separates Budget Motel from others Roxan, front desk manager @ Budget Motel.She was so accommodating, friendly and professional .in short a difference maker for me.If you are in the burley area, the place to stay is the Budget Motel without question. I plan on spreading the word on this Motel and Roxan via my motorcycle journal also (distributed across the country)Kudos Roxan and thanks again Greg CrosbyChandler, Arizona

My early-20's son called me just a few minutes after he arrived at this hotel very excited and encouraging me to write this 5-star review! First of all, I accidentally reserved the hotel for the NEXT night but the front desk clerk happily fixed the error. Secondly, he said the room was bigger than most other rooms you spend much more for! He was thrilled!

A very pleasant stay at a very fair price. Very clean and comfortable. Only negative was the gal of the desk didn't seem to care that they were out of coffee in the morning and never did anything about it... kind of weird.

Stayed overnight at this motel. After traveling all day it felt good to lay down in a comfortable bed. Pillows were a bit saggy but we made the best of it. The perk came in the morning, the pressure for the showers were phenomenal. It felt like we were showering under a waterfall or by a fireman's hose. If I can add a hint to management, they may want to install splash guards on the corners of the tub to avoid water damage to walls and floors because curtains do not keep the water in. Continental breakfast was offered, so that's always a plus.

Surprised to see there was a smoking room, only to see Non-Smoking sign on the door after parking and walking around 1/2 the building, only way to get there. Not that busy. Then no ashtray available and only decaf coffee. Got a "wake up call"on the phone I didn't ask for at 4:55 am after a very long trip. Then an alarm I hadn't set went off at 5:55 am. My phone went off at 6:45. Thanks for the great rest that I needed!

The name "Budget Motel" raises alarm bells, but it exceeded my expectations. It was clean in all the important areas (bedding, towels, shower, etc.). We checked for bedbugs and found no trace. The beds themselves were comfortable. The room did have a funky smell, which is likely because of the carpet. My husband said it needed to be re-stretched too. I think they'd be better off replacing the carpet with hard-surface floors, and that would help with the smell. For the price (less than $100), it was great.

We are currently at the Budget Motel in Burley, ID. When we r made the reservation we were not told there is a "Fly" investation,, due to "The Hatvest". Phone in room does not work, so had to go to office. I was handed a fly swatter that does not work well enough to get rid of all the flies. Under the circumstances, one would think they would have discounted the room, but no If you have to come, which I do not recommend, ask if the flies are gone. Also, we specifically requested a non-smoking room; however, someone has smoked in the bathroom that stinks of cigarettes. Too tired and late to leave. This us definately a drive past. Gross

Had a Room at the Super 8. They raised my rate to 145. Went across the Freeway to the Budget. Alexis found me a Room. Her service was exceptional. Thank You Budget MotelRooms: Cleaner then the 3 Super 8s I stayed at.

The bed is comfortable n white good bedding and towels, the front desk staff goes above and beyond, the rooms are big, minimal toiletries but they will give you additional if needed. You get a 10% off coupon for Perkins which is next door. The location is prime. The rooms are spacious but they lack in the cleaning dept I did clean the bathroom floor it was covered in hair so I hate to think of what the carpet had in it.the pool is small but open. There is only one pop machine for this whole facility some if the ice machines do not work it is a trek to get ice. The breakfast isnt much. The grounds are nice and kept. Dogs ate a $20 per day charge but service animals are welcome.

Seems like it wouldn't be a bad place except its gross.Dog hair on the chair, human and more in the shower before I've used anything.Wall outlet needs replaced.Wont recommend simple for the reason; Cleanliness and quality control need to be have a double take

At check in the front desk clerk advised that there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 am. Got there just before 9am and everything was put away. Got to my room and there was a foul odor in the room. Smelled like dirty laundry or bad body odor. Pulled the sheets back and it looked as though the sheets were not laundered. Found pubic hairs in the sheets. Went to take a shower and the shower walls and base were filthy. Found the carpet to be sticky. Was afraid to walk on it in my bare feet. Overall cleanliness of this room was terrible.

The rooms have not been cleaned for some time period dirt built up in the corners bugs, spiders everywhere. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at for cleanliness. There was still trash under the bed and in the drawers when we arrived and nothing had been cleaned out. The floors were disgusting and dirt and grind throughout the world. No matter how desperate you are for a room do not stay at this hotel and the price was far more than what you would imagine for..
