Got an oil change full synthetic and an air filter.Only went to this place as I was in a pinch and needed it done before an unexpected trip. Every thing cost 2x - 3x what you would pay at other shops. First stop 200miles out on trip I noticed oil leaking. Went to a nearby mechanic and stated the oil filter was loose and leaking. As well as looked as if oil was over filled leaking down the side of motor. After oil filter was tightened no more oil leaking. Paid over $150 plus for something that should have been under a $100. Not to mention didn t properly secure oil filter. I do not recommend this place.

Had the absolute pleasure of having Kobe, the manager provide me service today. He represents everything that makes an ideal employee, leader, and represents this company with absolute service excellence. I came for just an oil change reluctantly accepting the fact I would spend more usvj g a service, rather than performing it myself. But Kobe s overall demeanor turned what was seemingly a pain in *** to a pleasant experience. He did not try to hard up sell me, and that approach made me get other services. And you know what? I feel great about it bc he is obviously a warm hearted, courteous, intelligent and highly personable man. You ve got a keeper in Kobe. And if you ever need a job my man, please look me up. Had a really great experience here (for an oil change place)! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were able to sit in our car during the service, which was a nice change compared to other places. The manager Kobe advised that we get our engine air filter changed and when we told him we had just purchased one, Kobe installed it for us free of charge.

Obviously doing oil changes yourself is cheaper but I do like the convenience of sitting in your car while they change the oil for you. You don't need any appointments as it is a first come, first serve basis. The only thing I dislike is this particular location is a little small (not much room entering or exiting) the price I paid was about 115 dollars for an oil change.

Charged $155+ for an oil change .assured me they checked all fluid levels etc. A few days later took the car into the dealer for a new headlight . needed 2 quarts of oil (my car is relatively new and does not burn oil) needed coolant and window washing fluid - which I specifically asked Valvoline to make sure it was full .which they assured me they did .won t go to them again but heads up to others have them show you the dip stick etc .got ripped off oil filter didn t look like it was replaced either a huge disappointment!

Yesterday I had my oil change here for the first time and it was a great experience! As an older female at no time did I I feel like they were trying to sell me any extras. Justice, the manager provided exceptional customer service as well as another young man whose name I did not catch. They were professional and let me know everything they were doing. They also clearly appreciate military personnel as they provide a 15% discount. I highly recommend this business and I will go back!Service: Oil change

I need to replace my battery and wasn't able to bring my vehicle in to the store to be tested there so they sent a wonderfully kind technician named Kobe who ran the proper test and was able to honor my warranty.The issues with my car at this time have absolutely NOTHING to do with Valvoline at all, and yet they were swift and efficient and very kind. I called SAT at around 4 o'clock and honestly wasn't expecting to hear from anyone until today but I was contacted shortly after my original call, and BOOM! It was handled before lunch today! I am extremely satisfied with how both experiences were handled and just wanted to express that.

Hands down one of the best service stations I've been to in my 25 years of driving. These guys are super proficient, quick, and thorough, and their friendliness and professionalism is unmatched. My daughter came in for an oil change. The fact that she did after only having 2500 miles from purchasing from Bronco motors 2 months ago is her fault. The CSR didn't ask any questions pulled a car fax report which may or may not have the services posted from Bronco motors. Then said she needed her transmission fluid changed. This is unethical, unprofessional, and predatory. I will be speaking to everyone I know to never use your service. Even without the transmission fluid changed forced on her. Making her feel as though it needed to be done. Then charging $75.99 for a 4 qt oil change is ridiculous. Despicable and down right dirty practices. And ps oil changes in this day and age at 3000 miles is not ethical either. Avoid any of these Treasure Valley locations.Update - Had a text message session with Valvoline - could care less about the details.You and the services provided are highly unethical. AVOID Valvoline especially the Broadway location. Scare tactics related to additional add on services. SHAME ON YOU and the business practice.

Justice, the Manager IS THE BEST. He price-matched my air filter with the competitor options to save me a trip, checked a different air filter I ve never seen any attendant show me before, and it made a night and day 10 X difference on the air pressure inside the cabin through the vents for AC. He went out of his way, he was so natural and personal, 5 stars + 1. Valvoline has always been good, but Justice made Valvoline my top choice from now on

Justice the new manager is absolutely excellent. Been using this location for about four years and they continued to be my go to. The former manager. Don t recall name was excellent and the tradition has continued on. If you need your oil changed with simple explanations of services, fair prices, and quick results this is the place to go! Not bad. Like all oil change places there's a heard of 20 something's running the show. However they were professional, and appeared to know where the oil came out and where it goes in. What more can you ask. Why I gave 5 stars. In the next lane over a guy was changing a battery. There were a couple plastic clips involved, and they probably didn't matter much. Taking them off, one shot down to the floor, and disappeared what I can only guess to be about a quarter mile away. Now rather than just say F it, he searched and searched and eventually found it. I don't think anyone seen this go down but myself. That kind of integrity will take him places, and I'll go back.

The fact that I didn't have to get out of my car was the absolute best. Sara the manager here at Broadway location was giving world class customer service!! I love that about awesome employees. She explained everything well with what they're doing and gave me CHOICES of my own. No pushy service. No judgment. No "Well you really should get this for your car. It probably needs it". Sara showed respect and didn't make me feel stupid. But hearing all the staff there was a delight. Everyone is friendly. SUPER PROFESSIONAL. 5 stars for an exceptional experience. They were quick and clearly had systems in place to uphold quality. I always worry that quick means lower quality, but they were great communicating with each other and doing checks to ensure the right caps, etc. we re back in position.I actually went in for an oil change but could not get it. Raleigh (I m second guessing if this is the right name, but I believe that s what I read on his name tag) and Michael helped me. They found out that my bolt to drain the oil was stripped and they could not do the oil change, so recommended I contact my last service provider to replace it as Valvoline did not have that part. I was concerned because I needed to drive quite a ways and they listened to and discussed my concerns. They could have been upset that they gave me a courtesy check and did not get to complete a paid service, but they were pleasant and helpful anyway. I appreciated that and because of their helpfulness and clear focus on quality, I would recommend.

My family and I have been going to Jiffy Lube for years here in Boise. My family was the first to stop going to Jiffy, but I m traditional, stubborn, and stuck with them. After Jiffy Lube cost me over $500 in damages to my truck without taking responsibility, along with several regrettable experiences on my past three oil changes, I finally decided to pursue other options. At first Valvoline s full synthetic price tag was a bit intimidating (me broke during the pandemic), but I knew I couldn t trust Jiffy any longer, so I gave it a go. Valvoline surprised and delighted me. Raleigh, and the young woman whose name I didn t catch, were superb. It s the little things. Showing me that my air filter was good and did not need replaced was a stark contrast to Jiffy Lube, who tries to upsell everything, all of the time, no matter what. They told me the minimum and maximum air pressure of my tires, told me what they were at, and even offered to drain off some air. Watching them clean the vehicles with a cloth from the grease marks, explain everything that was needed, not needed, and breaking down costs as well as quick product explanations just blew the customer experience out of the park in comparison to Jiffy. I can t go on enough about how the little things matter. I didn t feel like the next car in line , even though it was moderately busy. Hopefully this service is consistent, and I will be sure my circle goes to this location for their oil changes moving forward. Short story: Probably ideal to avoid this location and maybe Valvoline altogether. They failed to properly secure the skid plate to our car after an oil change causing damage that cost almost $500 to repair. Thankfully they were decent enough to cover the costs, although it was pulling teeth the entire process! Mistakes happen, poor customer service following the mistake is a poor response. I see other review responses received case numbers to provide remedy. I don't need a case number, I won't be having any business with Valvoline and would like to warn others of my experience with this particular location.Long Story: My wife and I took our 2020 year model vehicle in for an oil change. Everything seemingly went well until our drive home back to Mountain Home. We heard a sound coming from under our car which upon pulling over found that the skid plate had begun scraping against the pavement. I called Valvoline and asked to be directed to the manager to discuss a remedy, as we certainly hadn't done anything to cause such an issue. The manager's name printed on our invoice was Bryan, and the lady who redirected my call said "Let me forward you to our manager Bryan," once connected, who I thought to be Bryan had told me that the location I was redirected to was located in California. I don't know if that was on honest mistake of being misdirected, but a few days later my wife spoke to who sounded like the same gentleman. I can't imagine a manager lying to a customer that way so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it had to be an honest mistake. I called back roughly 20 minutes later after finishing our drive home and was directed to Michael who was the CSR for our oil change. He told me he would get in contact with his manager and corporate to see if we could start the process for the claim and that he would call me back. I never got a call back. My wife follows up with Michael the next day and he rudely explains to her that he informed me that he would get back to us when he had a claim number. My wife pulled a 1-800 number from Google to get ahold of corporate. We got in touch with someone who submitted the claim and provided a claim number for reference on the spot. A few days later we had a representative from our dealership bill Valvoline because of course our dealership couldn't give us our car back until the bill was paid and get this... The payment couldn't be processed due to some bank error Valvoline was having. Corporate explained to us that they wouldn't be able to pay the bill until the next day almost leaving us without our vehicle for another day. No more than an hour later we get a call back from our dealership representative letting us know that the payment was processed and that we could pick up our vehicle. What a headache! What could've been a simple oil change turned into a week's worth of BS just to keep our car at decent value! Big thanks Alejandro, Michael, and Bryan! Decent service if not for the headache and poor customer service that followed the oil change.Service: Oil change

Sara is an amazing manager! Always keeps her cool, even in a tuff situation! I had gotten two def windshield blades thinking they damaged my car cause they wouldn't work. Time after time she didn't give up, and still was so kind and helpful even when we both couldn't figure out what happen. Now days this kind hard work and compassion for helping people is very hard to find! Hope this company gives this girl raise and understands just what they have with her! I hope I get his name rite if not I'm sorry. Calan??..He was great! Courteous, professional and he had a personality. Didn't push anything else I didn't want. Got the job done quickly and professionally. Went above cleaning the little drops of oil off the motor. And the finger prints off the chrome grille. Sara the manager should keep him. He did great!!
