Free advice from a knowledgeable mechanic working at front counter. Came outside to place a code reader on my vehicle and determine my issue. I've also had help at installing the front head lamp; I bought the part from them. Saved me over $80 from the dealership!

Jonah was so incredibly helpful!! I just got done with a long work day and was looking forward to going home and relaxing when a friend told me my head light was out! I decided to go to the oreillys on overland Jonah was knowledgeable, took time to explain what I needed to do, step by step in 25 degree weather! He was amazing!

Poor customer service and no sales effort at all. Went in to get my battery tested. 2 seconds in the guy is complaining about how he has to test batteries all day. He goes to test the battery and tells me it got overcharged so I ask him what that means to where he replies "it's overcharged" in a grumpy tone. All I'm saying is I'm not gonna buy a battery from this guy

I started going to O'Reilly Auto Parts when I lived in "The Bench" Neighborhood in Boise Idaho USA. The last neighborhood that I lived in was officially called "Vista" Neighborhood. All 3 places that I lived in zip Code 83705 were sub-standard. It's ironic that I lived in sub-standard housing in one of the hottest zip codes in the world ! But I made the best of it. I moved there, after being a "Sophisticated Bum" ( in a good way) Transient, in 2019.My first Car Battery purchase on "The Bench" was at AutoZone. It was fine! A Team Member replaced my battery for me! But for some reason, I always liked O 'Reilly Auto Parts better. I don't like the colors of The AutoZone Store . It's always busy. O'Reilly's also replaced another Car Battery for me, when the battery from AutoZone needed to be Updated.I have also bought other things for my car at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I know right where the "Armor All Cleaning Products" are in the store! I bought several snow brushes, and wiper fluid. I find O'Reilly Auto Parts Customer Rewards Program easy to use! The cashier always enters my phone number for me, so I don't have to risk getting nasty germs like Covid from touching a screen! We are going to change my oil ourselves for the first time, so I went into the Boise O'Reilly Auto Parts while I was in my old neighborhood getting my mail at my PO Box! A Team Member named Travis helped me figure out what kind of oil to buy. He found me a real "Nissan Manufacturer"s Oil Filter !" I was impressed !I'm only giving it 4 Starts because I had to go guess what kind of High Milage Synthetic Oil to get. I selected the wrong kind and had to go back twice. Travis also forgot to get a gasket for my Oil Drain Plug .Regardless of these little Hiccups, O'REILLY Auto Parts will have my business Forever ! I look forward to going to a Different Treasure Valley Location since I live in Meridian Idaho now. My roommate buys a lot of parts for his Trucks so I got him an O'Reilly Auto Parts gift card for a Holiday Gift .Your soon-to-be Oily and less lonely Google Guide,Scott alias Dot.

Great staff and prices. Wish batteries came with a longer warranty.Update: staff goes it off their way to help. So much easier to find parts than going online if you don't know what the names of parts are.

I just want to say that starting from the crew that was in the office answering questions over the phone in the afternoon on 3/15/23, and then through completion of my experience with Steve, the general manager, I was blown away by their excellent customer service, community oriented approaches, and going over and above to make sure I was taken care of. I am so grateful for the service that I received that day as it kept me moving safely on the road, plus I was educated on several aspects regarding the battery of my vehicle and what I needed t keep in mind for the future. Steve even took extra time to check my alternator to make sure I was good to go. The bottom line, the staff at this store made O'Reilly's reputation and professionalism shine, so much so, that I will return for anything else that I need help with. I want to sincerely thank all of them that helped me and to send this as a message of feedback to those concerned with the evaluation of this location.

Good place to get a quart of oil but in my experience MANY of the parts they sell have VERY HIGH failure rates. So say's 5 of my mechanics. I have 3 vehicles and 2 motorcycles... that's how I know. Great people, good prices but junk auto parts. Many of the remanufactured parts have VERY HIGH FAILURE RATES. Even if you buy a NEW PART...high failure rates. I get MUCH BETTER QUALITY PARTS FROM...napa auto parts...to be completely honest with you. Sorry I'd rather tell the truth than bullshyt you. Did I mention great people? Lol

I like how helpful they are and it even seems like they prefer to hire people that actually know the basics of vehicle maintenance. Always my first choice to look for parts locally.

The first call staff are very knowledgeable! If they don't have a part in stock, they are quick to locate it. Very competitive with parts prices also! Justin and Ginger are excellent people to work with!

Just like every other car parts store anymore, some of the staff lacks any automotive knowledge. Not that it's a prerequisite, but a few years back most everyone working in a parts store was knowledgeable enough to at least bounce a couple things off of. Or at the very least they didn't bring spark plugs to the counter when you asked for brake pads.

We stopped at another auto parts store and the employees were not helpful "No we can't look up your part or look at your car, you have to know what you need". At O'REILLY we got fantastic customer service and then, icing on the cake, the employees had small toys on hand to give for Christmas and our kids were delighted! We'll always drive the extra distance to get to O'REILLY.

Assistant manager would not assist in helping me find a radiator hose for a custom application. I requested to look at all the molded hoses to get a visual on the correct shape for my project. He would not budge on helping me out. I went to auto zone and they helped me find the correct one. What happened to helping the customer?

The young man i got to help me, acted like it was putting him out. I got a smart alec that didn't have any respect for me and my needs. He actually let me walk away, without a pinch of effort to change his attitude and go down the street for what I needed and much better service! Very disappointed. So was another young lady who ended up at the same place after me and got the help we came for and much better service. He'll know who he is. Hopefully an eye opener to get another job or an attitude change.

I wish I could remember the employees name that helped me but I have never had such wonderful service before. I just needed bolts to put my license plates on my new car. He got them from the shelf for me and put them on for me too. I really felt like a princess haha.

Open late and in-stock of auto parts and accessories consistently proves wider and more diverse than competitors.

I was sold the wrong replacement lamp by another auto parts store. I knew better but they were close to where I was.I then went to O Reilly s on Latah and Overland and had the fortunate experience of being helped by Ken.He explained why the part the other guys sold me wouldn t work (without trashing the other guys).Which part would work (of course they had it in stock)!!How to install the new bulb and how to properly use bulb grease.Thank you Mr. Ken, you will be seeing me again!!!

I purchased a part that had a lifetime warranty, after 3 years the part stopped working. I took it in, asked the associate to look up my old receipt via their program that stores my previous purchases. I was informed that they could not find the purchase. As the part was needed for my A/C, I ended up purchasing another one. Moving forward 5 months, the part failed again. This time, when I went in, the store was conveniently able to locate BOTH receipts. I explained the situation and was told to call Customer Satisfaction. On this this call, the supposed night supervisor, John said that there was nothing that he could do and laughed. When asked for another supervisor to address his rude behavior, he said that he was the only person available and everyone else had gone home for the day. I called back and then spoke to a nicer associate, who provided me with the district managers number. However, when calling, I was redirected back to the store. When I asked to speak with the district manager, the associate was rude and refused to pass along a message nor provide me with a number to contact the manager. I am severely disappointed in the lack of customer service in the last few interactions with O'Reilly associates.

Great location for parts on an older vehicle. I recently bought an older model GMC pickup. As you would expect it needed some TLC. Everything I have needed has been available and in-stock when I needed it. They have also been a great source of information on ways to make repairs easier. Also on things that I hadn't thought of that I was able to address before they became an issue.

We just went to O'reilly's, and the nicest man, Michael, went super above and beyond to help us! We had a 2006 BMW with multiple error codes. Our check-engine light came on. We brought it in, and he scanned our car, gave us recommendations and prices, he even printed off papers and reports to help guide us. I feel so confident now that I know what needs to he done. I was so impressed with his helpfulness, confidence, and optimism. We got exactly the right stuff we needed and changed it in the parking lot with some tools they loaned us!! So happy, so impressed. Shout out to Michael. Can't wait to go back again

Great price on my battery, compared to the other auto stores in Boise. And the gentleman ( Steve)that installed it was so helpful and polite. Excellent service
