We had an awesome experience with John! We knew exactly what car we wanted to look at! He was helpful with information we asked about the car, easy going, funny guy. He wasnt pushing like other sales men we came across. It was affordable and low mileage! Needless to say, we left with the car we wanted and so happy with our experience with this company! We will be recommending others to this business! Thank you again!

I bought a 2012 Prius V from Papa John in January, and I enjoyed the experience and am happy with the car. Everyone I worked with and talked to was very nice. I was holding off on reviewing until I felt like I had a good car. It's been 4 months now, and I wanted to update that my car is lovely and a pleasure to drive. It has a whole bunch of snazzy features that make me feel like I'm living in luxury, lol. It leaks a bit, but I had it checked out and it's not anything I need to desperately worry about. If I could, I would rate 4.5 stars for that. Thanks again for the Prius!

These are the most stand up straight forward car salesman in the business. Not only are they not pushy at all . They stand behind the vehicle tat they sell. I recently purchased a Jeep Cherokee from them and they had just replaced the shocks. I purchased the vehicle and was happy with the deal. After a couple weeks of driving I felt a vibration at hwy speeds and on occasion heard a thumping during tight turns. So I took it to my local mechanic for a inspection. Sure enough the trailing arms and bushings on the front end are needing to be replaced. To the extent of $1099.53 was the estimate for repair. So I took my estimate and went back to the dealership expecting the worst. An argument or confrontation or to be told the whole "as is "story. I couldn't have been more wrong. To my surprise they listened to my description of the problem told me not to worry about it. To simply schedule it with there mechanic and they would take care of it. That is why I say they are the best in the business. I won't buy a used vehicle from anyone else. They are honest, and helpful. They stand behind the sale of the vehicle with integrity. If there is a problem they take care of it. Simply put Good People. No need to shop anywhere else!

Purchased a car and warranty from them . Have had the car less than 2 month and have NOT been able to drive it maybe 2 weeks in total since having it. With it being in and out a repair shops with numerous things wrong with it. Expected a couple things being a used car as to the reason we bought the warranty. Come to find out the Warranty does not cover the problems wrong with it. When we called we were told there s nothing they could do about it and that I should call around other shops for a cheaper quote to fix it ourselves. Out a car and the money we put down to purchase it. DONT WASTE YOURE MONEY THERE! Find somewhere else

Papa John was very helpful, got a car low miles for a fair price. Drove it home, had a odd issue that really couldn t be diagnosed till it happened. Frustrated I called down to let Papa John know, he called me back 15 minutes later telling me to get it fixed and come down and we could figure it out. Car was sold as is, but owners worked with me to help out with the cost. Had a great experience, and I feel righted by them. Ill be back next time I need a car.

John had no idea about this car. First of all he posted it wrong and as I take it out for a test drive the car engine light turns on, Yikes! If you've been in the business for ten years, you should know something about cars. He knew nothing. Horrible experience.

I bought a Subaru Outback from Boise Auto Sales back in November from Papa John and could not be happier. I had a Pontiac Solstice convertible at the time with a fair amount of body damage. Papa John gave me an amazing trade in value on my convertible and a great deal on my Subaru! Even with the body damage I was pleased with what they offered me. Highly these guys recommend!

I bought my car from here last week. It's a used Kia Spectra EX 2006. Papa John helped me a lot. He was super polite, patient, and not overly-pushy for a first time car buyer like myself. It was listed for higher than what it was worth so trying to get financing was an absolute nightmare. However, EVERYTHING has gone up in price. So that wasn't off-putting for me. He directed me to several financial institutions for financing, but nothing worked.I ended up just buying the car outright in cash. He offered me a warranty, but I didn't have anymore money. I read the paperwork carefully it says front-and-center and Papa John even told me. You're agreeing to buy a car AS IS. I'm still going to take my little compact into a mechanic, but for a used car with low miles in this day and age. It handles like a dream. If you can work directly with Papa John, you will be good in hands 100% of the way. Thank you for everything!! :)-- Jazmin W.

This place is a gem. A gentleman called John (he goes by Papa John since there is more than one) was super friendly and very straight forward. He personifies integrity and he made my car shopping experience very smooth and pleasant. In fact, this was my first car buying experience ever in my life! I never felt that he was pushy or predatory and he made me feel very comfortable. The owners are great guys too! Very up front and personable and not sleazy at all. They model what a used car salesperson should be. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone. I can't vouch for the other sales people but Papa John is trustworthy and just a great, down to earth guy. Thanks again.

These guys are the equivalent of Danny DeVito supergluing bumpers onto complete lemons. My nephew was taken advantage of the whole time he was in by two used car guys (the word salesman would be inappropriate). They sold him the purchasing agreement to take to the bank (illegal), and when he got to the bank the bank wouldn't fund the car because they were selling it 3k over. So to get his moneys worth he paid for the purchasing agreement ends up purchasing the car against these red flags. The car had no oil, no horn, the transmission went out immediately. These guys fudge reports to make sales and will lie to your face. Make your buck gentlemen at the end of the day you lack basic integrity!

Got my son a car here, had to pick it up the next day when I could go to the bank. I'm sure they changed the battery out. Because it wouldn't start after I signed the papers. Had to buy a new battery the next day and now 3 weeks later have to get a new alternator. Will never go here again.

A lot of these reviews that are five stars look pretty fake but that isn't my reason for the one star review. The reason why I am rating this one star is because of the car they sold me. I bought a Manual 2010 Chevy Aveo from here in July. Boy the amount of problems I have faced since then have been awful. Their mechanic is probably the worst because the car wasn't even fixed completely when they sold it to me. They said all it needed was an engine sensor and the check engine light would turn off. Well after that was done it didn't go away and all of a sudden the upper radiator hose was slashed and I replaced that myself. After taking the vehicle into a reliable mechanic I found out that my had not had an oil change since its second change, the check engine light was mostly that but it was also a few other things such as a cylinder misfire and rear faulty break switch. There are also still a lot of other problems it has but not as important as the no oil and cylinder misfire.Whatever you do, make sure you're buying a reliable car and if you are a first time buyer, be sure the vehicle is in working condition. But my recommendation is not to shop here ever. Save yourself the trouble and find a reliable dealership.

I would highly recommend going to Boise Auto Sales if you are ever looking for a new used car. I went here after i had been in an accident and needed to find a new one. After a while I experienced some issues with the car and went back to ask them about it and they were more than willing to help me. "Papa John" and the owner Tim were very helpful and encouraging and are very reliable guys for your next used car. I would highly recommend this place for all future purchases.

We got my boyfriend a car here, his very first car he ever spent a real good amount of money on. They were super nice and friendly and helped us find something not only we were looking for, but even beyond that. We got a 2005 Hybrid Ford Escape with only just over 100,000 miles on it. They were very honest about everything to do with the car, and when we had it checked out by a mechanic nothing was wrong except it hadn t had an oil change in a very long time. It had brand new tires that were easily valued at $1000 for them all. We took it on a trip to Twin Springs and as everyone knows those roads are washboard and rough, and this car handled it like a champ!!!!! We were nervous taking it up there without knowing very much how it would handle, but definitely were surprised and felt completely safe! I was definitely nervous going to a used car lot because I did not want to get scammed or sold a bum vehicle like I have been in the past. I told Don this the second we met and told him don t b******t me! Haha and he was very understanding of my past experiences at other places and helpful! Definitely ignore any of the bad reviews about this place and go down and see what they have to offer! Have recommended to a couple of friends already! We did not finance, we had all the money saved up so I can t give any reviews on their process on that end, but I can t imagine it d be bad! Very nice people!

If you want a broken down car with many problems, shop here. I purchased a bmw from this place and not even an hour after leaving the lot, it broke down on me in the middle of the road. As well as not even touching on the warranty options. They also told me they would fix a window but flaked on that too. This car has caused me nothing but problems, and regret buying from this place. Shop at your own risk!

I have to say I am not a fan of used car lots but I found what looked like a great deal on Facebook. I went in and John was very nice, helpful and not pushy at all. The car was clean and very fair priced. It was a great experience all around, he even had movies and coloring books to help keep the kids occupied. So if you are looking for a great deal and a great salesman this is the place.

I bought my 2015 Jeep Patriot here about 6 months back and its served me well. The guy who helped me was awesome. Not too pushy like a lot of other salesman. I highly recommend this place especially for first time car buyers.

John was very accommodating to let me test drive the Pontiac Torrent, and it is in good shape. I asked for the sun roof to be fixed and called back. I test drove the Vibe too, and it is a good FWD car.A few days later the Torrent was fixed and detailed. So I drove it again and I bought it, getting a 3 month warranty for not dickering on the great price.Great people there, very open and friendly.

I could not recommend this place more! I worked with the owner, he was very professional and they worked with me to be able to get my first car, and my dream car at that!! Super nice, let me test drive, and take it to my mechanic to have it checked out before i bought it. Mechanic gave me the ok, it had no problems just needed a brake flush, new filter, a few other minor things probably from just sitting for a while. But no big problems at all. I am so beyond happy with my car!! Huge thank you to this awesome company!! I definitely recommend checking this place out if your thinking about it!!

The people at Boise Auto sales were amazing. They went above and beyond to get me into a great car. I would recommend anybody to go there. They really make you feel welcome and not just like another payday. They aren't pushy and tell you the truth about the cars.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE! My kid Drove it off the lot to my house, the check engine light comes on. They take it back said the mechanic will look at it... long story short. The 3x they "Fixed It" the issues were worse. This was all in a 2 weeks time frame.Now the are refusing to fix or give my kids there money back.. Scammers is all I can say about them.
