Have been taking all my vehicles there for years. Very affordable, nice people, knowledge. Usually get my vehicle in and out within a day or two depending on its issue.

We were headed to Hope, ID, for a family vacation the day after Christmas and had trouble with our transmission. We were able to make it to Athol and tried two other shops that were not open or able to look at our car. We hesitantly decided to leave our Suburban in front of C&L and drop the key hoping they would be able to look at it and possibly fix it. Kevin called me the next morning to let me know that he would be able to look at it. Unfortunately, we needed a new transmission which is not the news you want to hear at this time of year. Kevin ordered the part hoping that it would arrive before we were going back home. It did not, but Kevin was great to work with and kept us informed all week. They fixed it in about 1 1/2 weeks and we were able to drive back and get our Suburban. It turns out we totally lucked out leaving our Suburban at C&L! I highly recommend them. Kevin and his crew are amazing. C and L repair is my go-to. I broke down on a Friday night and he squeezed me in and had it fixed first thing Monday morning. They don't try to take advantage of me and have me pay more for "other problems" they really are good people, and I trust them in that sense! I will always recommend them for sure

We were on vacation staying in the area and the second day the alternator gave out in our car. They were able to take the car right away, get the part, install, and get the car ready to drive within a couple hours. Very friendly and willing to help.

Very good experience! They got me in for a vehicle diagnosis within the week. Bad wheel bearing -- OUCH!!! They had it replaced and ready to roll the next morning. Fair price, good people! These people are fantastic and reliable. I have taken my car to them for over 20yrs and have never had 1 issue with them in all that time. They are trustworthy and reliable, They only charge you for what you need not what they want to fix and charge you. They have saved me thousands when i went to someone else to get their opinion on an issue and when Stan told me they can work on this issues I took it in to them and it was back in my garage that night and saved me over a thousand dollars. If you want a reputable place to take your car to take it to Stan at C&L Auto. They are awesome thanks guys.

Very friendly and helpful. I felt confident about leaving my truck there for service and receiving an honest diagnosis. Great job and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.

My brother bought a full service package from these guys, and they told him that the brake pads have at least a year's life left. A few weeks later, the rear pads are grinding into the rotors. They told my brother that his car is safe, and it wasn't.Brakes are easy, basic maintenance. I don't tolerate mistakes that could endanger my life, and the lives of other motorists. No excuses for this sort of mistake.Neither my brother, nor I, will be going back. It's a shame, because he did very good work on my car.

We started using C&L on a recommendation from a neighbor a few years ago and are very happy with their service. On our most recent visit, they saved us almost $400 over what we would have been charged taking our car to the dealership. Instead of just "replacing the whole thing" as the dealership would have done, C&L replaced just the part that needed replacing (it had to do with our dash lights not working properly). Highly recommend them!! They also are nice and friendly, which is very much appreciated.

Great work at a fair price, they are exceptionally ethical. 5 man garage that seem to pump out MANY satisfied customers on a consistent basis. My car had a bad hub and bearing and I was in and out the same day. These guys are really sharp and seem to enjoy what they do. Bring your business here, you won't be disappointed.Thanks again Stan & crew!

I recently called Stan at C&L Repair to inquire about a possible head gasket failure. After explaining the situation he informed me that there was no real reason for concern. Very honest and forth right and I really appreciate that. I will definitely be using them when I do need a necessary repair as they have a great reputation as a long standing business in the North Idaho community! Thanks Stan!

We've been customers of C&L for years. The service has great, they have preformed above and beyond (giving me a ride home if the repairs take longer than expected and picking me up when repairs are done), and have always been fair with us. I would recommend them to everyone. Great people to work with.

This is seriously the best mechanic shop I've ever been to. I have older vehicls and they are honest about what my vehicles need and what can wait, their work has always been quality, and everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and helpful.

My dad has used these folks exclusively since they opened and they volunteer to work on everything he runs from 1960's diesel tractor, fleet of cars and trucks, bigger fleet of boats from old Chris's up to new steamboat, and they even make house calls. I have used them for 7 years and they treat you like family and stand behind their work. A truly great local family owned business, try em, you will come to trust them with your cars etc.

I live near Athol and have used C&L since I moved there 13 yrs ago. In my 64 years of life, they're the best mechanics I've ever had... by alot. Great guys, polite, sharp, good diagnostics, you name it, they are professionals that do it well. Thanks Stan, Kevin, Guy, Larry, and all... !Fred H.

We had car trouble as we pulled into Athol, from out of town. C and L ran a diagnostic on our van, and helped us troubleshoot. They went above and beyond to help us out, and had excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Stan, Larry and all the guys at C&L are honest, kind, hard working and professional. From tires, oil changes, a/c and heating, fixing wiring issues, suspension to replacing an entire engine, they have worked on all our rigs. They always get the job done quickly and are always fair and honest!

Stan at C&L are the best, when you take ur car or truck there u will have the confidence that both of you are in good hands. They are fair and honest and upfront on any issues ur vehicle may be having. Larry and Stan are skilled, honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable and honest. There's no monkey business at C & L Repair. Just great service at a fair price. Did I mention that they are honest. If you don't need it, they won't try to sell it. You can trust their advice.

These guys are awesome ! Had a issue with our class C motorhome while on vacation and they got us right in and fixed ASAP! Price was extremely fair. See these guys if you have any car/truck repairs!
